Bobby rumoured to be out for 3 months.

Thiagos Mate

1.) 31 Aug 2021 07:58:05
Origi can clearly cover that though in FSG eyes, no problem.

2.) 31 Aug 2021 08:11:02
If it’s a hamstring I doubt very much it would be 3 months. It would of had to have been a complete tear and he wouldn’t just have walked off.

3.) 31 Aug 2021 08:13:38
Shall we forget all about Jota for the excuse to have a pop at somebody?
And just maybe find out what the club say before coming to the negative conclusions in the firs place?

4.) 31 Aug 2021 09:12:23
Time to exercise the buy back on Brewster.

5.) 31 Aug 2021 09:15:05
Hijack Edouard move from Celtic- job done.

6.) 31 Aug 2021 09:35:22
The same Edouard who missed a tap in from 5 yards out centre of the goal at the weekend. I still don't know how he missed, let alone put it 3 yards wide.

7.) 31 Aug 2021 10:54:12
I've seen Salah do the same thing against Man Utd, it doesn't make him a bad player.

8.) 31 Aug 2021 10:58:06
MK I’ve see Aguero, Henry and De Bruyne miss absolute sitters too. Shouldn’t write a player off for one brain fart.

9.) 31 Aug 2021 11:05:25
They won’t announce the Bobby injury until the transfer window is firmly slammed shut.

10.) 31 Aug 2021 13:05:23
Some of the comments here are embarrassing.

11.) 31 Aug 2021 13:44:47
Rumours coming out now that it's only going to be a couple of weeks. How quickly the Word According to Twitter changes, eh? If that's the case, with the international break eating up one week, he may only miss Leeds and Milan. I'm sure some people are devastated.

Let's see what the club say.

12.) 31 Aug 2021 16:31:22
Something red, if you have been watching us over the past 4-5 years (basically under the klopp era) you would know that when they say ‘he’s out for a couple weeks’ it’s a complete lie and the player will be out for longer, that’s one constant with Liverpool nowadays, we never get the actual accurate extent on an injury, usually when it’s worse than we think. Firmino will most likely be out for more than a couple weeks if that’s what the team has said. It’ll be announced after the transfer window as well for obvious reasons.

13.) 31 Aug 2021 18:03:47
The club has not announced officially for how long Bobbie will be out for so let the chaos and conjecture begin cos clearly, some know a lot more than the club is willing to reveal.

02 Jul 2021 15:40:32
There’s only one signing I want this summer and that’s Saka! What a man what a player.
Oh and a new CM.

Thiagos Mate

1.) 02 Jul 2021 16:31:53
Should’ve moved quicker when his contract negotiations stalled with Arsenal last season. Such potential : (.

2.) 02 Jul 2021 16:36:39
Ain't happening.

3.) 02 Jul 2021 23:04:30
We missed the boat on a few players recently, last move haaland made was for a similar fee to what we paid for jota.

4.) 03 Jul 2021 00:19:22
How did we miss the boat on Saka? he had a contact with Arsenal and he signed a new contract.

{Ed0666's Note - maybe because we didn’t bid and not every player wants to play for us. I know it’s hard to believe 😂

5.) 03 Jul 2021 00:58:37
Missing out on signing kids depends on their choice regarding whether they want to be in the first team or not. That’s why these next big things want to go and play at Dortmund and not Liverpool- they get to play every week. At City they stay in the reserves and get phased in. Look at Foden. At Liverpool they go on loan and also get phased in gradually. Look at Harvey Elliot.

{Ed0666's Note - TAA, Williams & Jones say hello

6.) 03 Jul 2021 11:49:19
Haaland moved to Dortmund for circa €20mil (euro)
We bought Jota for £41mil rising to £45mil (pound)

7.) 03 Jul 2021 14:35:37
I love the naivety… two good halves from Saka and we’ve missed out on a world beater. We should sign that Shaqiri fella he was fantastic for Switzerland.

8.) 03 Jul 2021 14:49:45
Haaland stipulated being a main starter in his agreement BVB iirc - we couldn’t have agreed to those terms.

9.) 03 Jul 2021 14:51:40
I wanted say I am naive mate.
A lot of people have always raved about Saka and I have now joined the bandwagon.

10.) 03 Jul 2021 23:06:34
Saka. Amazing. Great guy too. But I’d take Doku if possible. Not as good maybe to some but I think he could overtake under a coach like Klopp.

11.) 04 Jul 2021 08:35:43
Grobs, Klopp wanted Doku while at Anderlecht as a teen ager but he chose to bide his time and not plan out his trajectory hence, he moved to Rennes to get reg first team footie. Now, he is shining. Don’t be surprised if Klopp goes back in for him.

20 Jun 2021 16:08:41
Any updates on Nauhaus Ed’s?
I’m guessing nothing will be done till after the Euros.

Thiagos Mate

{Ed002's Note - Nothing new. Florian Neuhaus (CM) There remains significant interest in the Borussia Muenchengladbach player with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund seeing him as a player who will continue to improve. Real Madrid see him as an option in midfield and his representative has made no secret that there has been interest from elsewhere including Manchester City, Spurs, Juventus and the Milanese clubs, but Milan seems a less likely destination. Borussia Dortmund will push hard for him but they have growing money issues. He would offer an outstanding solution with Wijnaldum leaving - but they may not have the necessary funds to pay in cash and will need to negotiate. Don't rule out an offer from Liverpool. BD interest will go with Rose's commitment to not take players from BM. I suspect the player will agree to an additional year at Muenchengladbach if Bayern Munich hint at taking him next summer.}

1.) 20 Jun 2021 18:40:22
“Don't rule out an offer from Liverpool. ”

That’s positive to hear Ed.

2.) 20 Jun 2021 22:22:13
That's it lad's Ed002 says it's a done deal😂.

3.) 21 Jun 2021 12:13:06
Cracking player him or bissouma would be good.

4.) 21 Jun 2021 16:25:39
Neuhaus AND Bissouma please.
Could box off the midfield for the next 5+yrs while Gini has gone, Milner turning 67 this year and Hendo/ Thiago both in their 30s.

5.) 21 Jun 2021 17:30:51
@Gingerlfc, one good quality midfielder should be plenty. Thiago is 30 since April and Hendo just turned 31 about a week ago.

We have Konate signed for centre back with VvD and Gomez due back as well so Fabinho shouldn't be needed to play centre back.

We can't sign everyone. One midfielder and one attacker and otherwise a half dozen at least will move on.

{Ed0666's Note - I still expect 3 incomings to be honest Sean

6.) 21 Jun 2021 18:25:18
Ginis ever presence in midfield will be gone.
Milner playing less games again this season.
Thiago and Hendo now both in their 30s and prone to missing games.
Sell Kieta, bring in Neuhaus and Bissouma for midfield.
Offload Minamino, Shaq and Origi upfront and bring in Malen/ Vlahovic.

7.) 21 Jun 2021 19:05:18
I think 2 would be enough, two good players especially the midfielder to be Bissouma or someone like him or at his level.

A forward better than Origi then and I don't think we can afford any others.

8.) 21 Jun 2021 23:52:02
Selling Kieta, Wilson, Shaq, Origi, Minamino etc etc could fetch decent coin yet.

9.) 22 Jun 2021 13:45:34
And aside from Shaq, who would be interested in the others?

20 May 2021 11:41:17
Hi eds
Seen a link to tielemens, can you see us looking at him if Keita was to go the other way?

Thiagos Mate

{Ed002's Note - Youri Tielemans (CM/AM) Barcelona have spoken with the agent of YT to see if he would be interested in joining the club as a replacement for Pjanic and Coutinho - he is one of several players they are considering but they also have players coming through the youth and Under 23 set up that could save them further money. Leicester have a new contract ready for the player. He is not a player that I know of any Liverpool interest in.}

1.) 20 May 2021 12:11:14
Decent enough player but not one we need we are even when gini leaves well stocked at cm.

Hendo
Milner
Curtis
Keita
Ox
Thiago
Fabinho
Grujic.

2.) 20 May 2021 12:46:45
We will be losing three of them this summer and Milner is no spring chicken.

3.) 20 May 2021 13:52:44
jkh, you say well stocked, but Ox is likely to leave, Milner doesn’t have the legs to keep pace or the skills to be a first choice, Grujic is leaving, Curtis is very very raw, Keita is going (i think that’s obvious, as he’s not even close to making the bench), which leaves us Henderson, Fabinho and Thiago, Harv we’ve seen how poor we are when both of Fabinho and Henderson aren’t around, so I’d say a midfield refresh is in order.

4.) 20 May 2021 15:02:29
People are just assuming ox, keita are leaving. for me ox ain’t going anywhere Gini is gone Keita might leave on loan and Grujic probs full time still leaves us with

Fabs
Hendo
Thiago
Jones
Ox
Milly

I can see one being added and that’s it.

5.) 20 May 2021 15:03:53
Hendo - Starter
Milner - 35 years, 36 in January
Curtis - sub
Keita - Woudlnt have him in my Sunday league team
Ox - good option off the bench, legs made of quavers though
Thiago - Starter
Fabinho - Starter
Grujic. - Sold

Massivley stacked there, ay mate. Neuhaus or Bissouma i'd love to be added. As an outside option, I think Mikel Merino would be a sensible choice, however, you'd be looking upwards of €50 mil. Ed's, do you know if the club has looked at him as a Gini replacement?

6.) 20 May 2021 15:49:40
I agree with Kloppers. We only need 1.

7.) 20 May 2021 15:50:01
Never mind protests about ESL we should have protests not too sign ramsey, stupid move beyond belief has to be the likes of bissouma, de paul, renato sanches, ward prowse, pelligrini etc.

8.) 20 May 2021 16:16:36
Ox isn't leaving. We are skating on thin ice regarding homegrown numbers as it is.

9.) 20 May 2021 16:30:25
Cymru, I spotted Merino on the Echo site a few weeks back when they were running one of their 'FM21 simulations' to see what would happen if we bought X Y or Z.

I checked him out on Sofifa and he has one of the most impressive set of stats I have ever seen! He appears to be able to play literally anywhere (except in goal! ) .

According to those stats he makes Milner look inflexible, the guy can play literally anywhere at an 80+ standard!

I wonder what he's like IRL? Have you seen him play?

10.) 20 May 2021 19:41:28
Thought De Paul was one of our MF targets? If A Madrid want NK it certainly ain't going to be a loan. They can spend 25m and give us Luis for a season or 2 as part of the bargain.

11.) 20 May 2021 18:37:58
Not a great deal, mostly on La Liga Revista where he's highly regarded and often spoken of someone who's ready for a big move, Sociedad play Osasuna on Saturday, if you want to have a look at him. I came across him on FM first and it's a similar story to what you said you saw on sofifa, all-rounder, very consistent, box-to-box. Has played for Newcastle also a few years back when he was a kid, might be a bit of a jump but you could say he has PL experience. His stats on Transfermarket also look like a glass slipper for Liverpool.

Ed066, have you got any inside knowledge on Mikel Merino?

{Ed0666's Note - no mate no info on Moreno sorry.

12.) 20 May 2021 19:41:28
Thought De Paul was one of our MF targets? If A Madrid want NK it certainly ain't going to be a loan. They can spend 25m and give us Luis for a season or 2 as part of the bargain.

13.) 20 May 2021 20:59:43
You can assume all you want the fact is right now all those players are LFC players and unless that changes we are well stocked. We can all guess at what might happen but none of them have left or are close to leaving.

{Ed0666's Note - yes none of them have left YET

14.) 20 May 2021 22:21:45
so unless that changes and let's be honest none of us know for sure as we tend to overprice players so with the exception of Gini all the players are LFC players until that time changes all the guess work is exactly that.

15.) 21 May 2021 10:40:36
Jkh, Keita can’t even make the bench so his time is up. Grujic is never going to play for us, Gini is gone, Shaq has offered nothing and is likely fo go, Ox is too injury prone to be relied upon as a starter, Curtis isn’t ready to be a week in week out starter, Milner doesn’t have the ability or pace and age isn’t on his side, and we’ve seen how poor we are when our midfield doesn’t have either of Fabinho or Henderson are not available.

16.) 21 May 2021 11:09:45
VVVV again we can all guess at these conclusions that this might happen and that might happen but until it actually does happen it does not change the point that as of now as we stand we have enough players in that position.

If the clubs knows that x y z is leaving (Gini Excluded) then fair play plan for replacements but until that point everyone is just assuming that these players are already gone when the reality is they are not yet and possibly won't be.

17.) 21 May 2021 14:12:22
I’d say not making the bench against WBA and Burnley when fit is a very strong indication that Keita’s card is marked, particularly after that rancid performance against Madrid. It has been clear this season our midfield has been one of our weakest points, doesn’t make goals, doesn’t stop attacks, so a clear out of the non performing members is sensible, how many chances do you give Keita? We can’t continue to carry injury prone players like Ox and Shaq, Curtis may well turn out to be a very good player but at the moment he’s not close to pushing any of Thiago, Henderson and Fabinho. Wijnaldum is leaving and Milner is beginning to look his age. No point mentioning Grujic or Wilson as they’re as good as gone, If the club doesn’t take action then next season is going to be similar to this one.

18.) 22 May 2021 08:40:25
You missed the point again.

10 Mar 2021 10:44:32
Rumours of Pulisic, anything in it?
Personally I see mane going this summer over mo so could be a good replacement.

Thiagos Mate

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of Liverpool making any approach to Chelsea for Pulisic.}

1.) 10 Mar 2021 12:02:05
Is he a United fan?

{Ed0666's Note - I think you could be right.

2.) 10 Mar 2021 12:52:14
I’m sure whoever he supports, it’ll make no difference to where he goes.

3.) 10 Mar 2021 14:50:55
After seeing him absolutely destroy our defence I couldn’t care less who he supports. If there’s any chance to get him to replace Mane, it should be grabbed with both hands.

4.) 11 Mar 2021 16:21:55
I've always thought he could be a phenomenal player. Has the skill set, for sure.

{Ed077's Note - he has missed a fair few games due to injury which is my main concern about Pulisic.}

Morning reds.
This season was always going to be challenge with city and Chelsea looking strong and us only getting a CB with needed a year ago.
The future really does make me worried. Our owners seem to not want to spend the money which is up to them. But with midfield built out of glass we seem to have no other option?
Can you Ed’s see us signing someone this month?

Thiagos Mate

{Ed002's Note - I am not sure what money you are referring to. It is very difficult to answer questions about timing, but there is a reasonable chance if the right player is available.}

1.) 09 Jan 2022 13:18:00
Ed’s; I understand fsg run Liverpool in a ‘self sufficient’ manner and it’s an investment for them, not a ‘toy’, however is it unreasonable to think they may loan the club funds for a transfer, in order to protect their investment long term, the funds being more than recouped if/ when they sell a more successful club?

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool are not self-sufficient and already have significant debts, including to the owners. Money will be tight as the pandemic has taken a huge toll.}

2.) 09 Jan 2022 13:30:29
Who is the right player eds?

{Ed002's Note - One of the players Liverpool are considering for midfield - perhaps Sanches, etc. or maybe they will look to Dembele or Traore again.}

3.) 09 Jan 2022 13:32:32
I think it's always been the case that unless the right long term target became available there would be no expenditure.

That being said Bissouma, who's our first choice, is supposedly available (rather hefty £50m price however) . If the right bid for Nat Phillips comes in, and the news about Thiago is true, I could definitely see Liverpool moving to secure his signature.

Ed002 are you aware whether the current court case could have a negative impact on any deal for the player?

{Ed002's Note - Bissouma is not available.}

4.) 09 Jan 2022 14:50:12
Sanches injury record worries me. Not sure he’s the answer.

5.) 09 Jan 2022 14:59:53
Where Liverpool self sufficient pre C.V. when they recorded pre tax profits of £40 and £100+ million?

{Ed002's Note - No - they live a hand to mouth existance.}

6.) 09 Jan 2022 16:09:05
Are brighton not open to selling then Ed? into the last 18 months of his contract abd let's face it he's not going to sign another one at Brighton.

{Ed002's Note - Not right now.}

7.) 09 Jan 2022 16:46:50
Well if a club can record £160+ million over 2 seasons, while investing circa £400+ million on new players into the bargain. I doubt many Liverpool fans would be complaining.

8.) 09 Jan 2022 16:48:08
Thisago, I'm more concerned with our owners inability to spend money. Unfortunately in today's game you have to have money to compete or you take your chances every few years to make a run.

We don't have any money. This hand to mouth approach will not work long term, but it's what we have. It's frustrating how the sport has changed because of money.

I'm really afraid about the future with our aging roster and Klopp leaving in a couple of years. It looks like we will try to hold on for now with what we have and then a complete rebuild after that. I hope I'm wrong.

9.) 09 Jan 2022 17:35:42
@stone : Who is paying for the expansions to the ground and the new training facility?

The owners are investing in the club and building for the future. They have also brought in a number of players along the way.

Just because they don’t see the value in the fans latest obsession doesn’t mean they haven’t / aren’t putting money into the club.

10.) 09 Jan 2022 18:38:34
I may be wrong but i don't think they payed for the expansions of anfield. i thought they loaned us the money for the anfield expansions so we have to pay the entire sum of it back to fsg?

11.) 09 Jan 2022 18:39:51
The owners have but little money into the club, any spent has been recupted on sales or added onto club debts, they either invest or sell otherwise in the next few years we will not be competitive .

That's modern football.

12.) 09 Jan 2022 16:15:14
How comes Liverpool appear to be one of the worst run clubs in the PL, living a hand to mouth existence, unable to buy players without breaching FFP but have such wonderful owners?
I get that they rescued us but when we are routinely getting outspent in the transfer windows (as in last two seasons) by 17 of the 19 PL teams, something is horribly wrong.
All of the teams have to deal with contract renewals, not just us, so please don’t roll out that excuse.
Or are the other teams walking a tightrope and close to going under?

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea what you are talking about - but it is clear you don't understand the situation with FFP nor with the investment the owners have been making.}

13.) 09 Jan 2022 18:23:55
That's all great and I appreciate all of that WDW, but our roster is not getting any better. There has to be a way to balance it all. They don't have the luxury in the Premier League that they have in MLB. In baseball, you can finish last and be okay, which they have done more than once. in the Premier League falling out of the top 4 is a big loss. If Liverpool are going to compete with the "hand to mouth" approach, then it's scouting and youth development have to be among the best in the world. For example, in my view Thiago was not a good investment for the future. That was a win now purchase and it has not worked out at all. I'm not saying they need to go out and buy Mbape, not at all. I'm saying they have to start buying smarter. We don't have the luxury of overselling a Coutinho for example and investing in world class ready to play talent. However, we should be investing in young up and comers. Elliott is a perfect example of that.

14.) 09 Jan 2022 20:13:38
So is Gordon who shone today. And there are one or two others who may come through yet.

15.) 09 Jan 2022 20:25:57
Ed - do you reckon FSG instruct Edwards and Co to sign injury prone players who can therefore be signed to cheaper deals.

P. s. don't answer this . . .
🤣.

16.) 09 Jan 2022 20:46:24
I don't mind getting routinely outspent in the transfer windows.
We are routinely finishing in the CL places and challenging in that competition under our current owners and manager.
Most of the clubs routinely spending more than us would love to be in our position.

17.) 09 Jan 2022 20:47:46
Watch moneyball.

18.) 09 Jan 2022 20:50:57
Hopefully when the accounts are announced soon we’ll see the money saved from the loyal club staff who were furloughed.

19.) 09 Jan 2022 20:59:08
shivers ed2, you've triggered people with your "hand to mouth" comment.

20.) 09 Jan 2022 21:16:00
good discussion everyone. cheers.

21.) 10 Jan 2022 00:42:33
That decision was overturned after the fans kicked up a fuss, JK23.
That's one of the main reasons I love this club. The likes of Ann Williams are up there with Sir Kenneth Mathieson Dalglish MBE, in my book.
Them Scousers again.

22.) 10 Jan 2022 06:08:29
Well said Rigsby.

23.) 10 Jan 2022 07:12:27
Ed002 - I’m remember your mentioning the club were close to losing close to £1m per week when FSG took over with the owners pumping money in

Drogie.

{Ed002's Note - Yes.}

24.) 10 Jan 2022 14:18:33
Well said, Rigsby and WDW. We have the owners we have and that's that. They do dumb stuff that I don't like and they need to be read the riot act BUT let's not act like they are like the Glazers cos they are NOT as much as many may like them to be.

They have an approach that worked for the most part until C. V happened. Are we blaming that on them now? Under our current model, we have been more than competitive to being literally successful since they got Klopp in. Why? Cos their model would only work under a manager like him.

Some may say, "They are NOT backing Klopp". Well, Klopp knew what the deal was and STILL accepted the job so that's not a thing and mind you, Klopp has been funded way more than he ever was at Dortmund and Mainz and has brought us success in spite of City, Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal (yeah, them) outspending him/ LFC at 2 or even 3 to 1 like City and Utd. To do that, we had to literally outperform every metric possible on and off the pitch to get where we are and with the owners we have, you're going to have a couple of lean years where you need time to rebuild, regroup and go again. We are prolly there now, based on ED02's recent info about critical decisions needing to be made players-wise so Im more worried about that than anything else.

25.) 10 Jan 2022 17:11:24
Over the last 8 transfer windows we’ve signed 9 players.
5 of those were Adrian, Elliot, Van de Berg, Kebak and Davis. Freebies, Loans and Kids.

26.) 11 Jan 2022 09:39:49
LiverpoolFC8 and out of these players you mentioned, only Davis and Van Den Berg (not for the first team) have NOT contributed in some way. The rest of them have. Also, you conveniently missed the likes of Konate, Jota, Thiago, Tsimikas who are now performing for the first team along with Kelleher in goal. Like I said, we have the owners we have and were it not for CV we would have made better signings cos that was the plan, IMO.

03 Jan 2022 17:48:26
Thoughts on the chance of us strengthening this window?
Slim chance in my opinion.

Thiagos Mate

1.) 03 Jan 2022 20:25:47
TM, don’t hold your breathe.

2.) 03 Jan 2022 21:47:07
Jones back and Elliott not too far away, I hope.
There's even a rumour that Keita has started running again. I wouldn't look too much into that though.

3.) 04 Jan 2022 13:58:12
Keita started running again? First time in three years.

31 Aug 2021 19:02:24
This window has been awful, the world can see we are short in centre midfield and attack not just for numbers but in quality.
I’m speechless, literally pointless getting top 4.
I love my club and this is why I find it so infuriating.

Thiagos Mate

1.) 31 Aug 2021 19:12:39
It's crazy to complain abt quality and numbers, when you've a player like Thiago siting on the bench or fermino/ Jota siting on the bench

Compare to our Rivals now, whos Lukaku or Mendy replacement? Werner? Who's Dias replacement? We can't just keep on stockpiling players that's the reality like it or not.

You're complaining more the the man (Klopp) in charge lol.

2.) 31 Aug 2021 19:23:45
I think we are an attacking player short but there is no point complaining about it. No one knows how the season is going turn out, it's a waste of time getting worked up about things that may or may not happen.

3.) 31 Aug 2021 19:26:06
Bissouma is the only obvious target for midfield and who would you sign in attack? £80 million on Vlahovic? £35 million on Bowen? £150 million and subsequent bankruptcy on Haaland? What is it that you think we should do? What would make you happy?

4.) 31 Aug 2021 19:52:47
Thiago mate it hasn’t been that bad. Cab was our most pressing area we added the best we could get and Phillips stays. Lb back up was a key area sorted. In midfield Elliot has come in and Jones is 8th choice so it’s hardly bad. It’s only 4 months to the next window opens so surely our squad will cope till then. I am convinced we will be top at Christmas.

5.) 31 Aug 2021 19:53:02
@Thiagos Mate
"This window has been awful"
For God's sake stop bloody whining.

"I’m speechless"
I wish some of you were!
You're filling the entire room with toys being propelled at regular intervals from your perambulators.

We already have a damn good squad and, what's more, it's a settled and happy squad. Be pleased with that.

Jeez.

6.) 31 Aug 2021 21:28:29
I understand the complaints and OTT reactions BUT can the OP tell us who we should have signed knowing full well we are not flushed with cash, we don’t panic buy, we don’t go for players unless they are the right ones we need? I’ll wait.

Don’t worry about depth upfront. Our CMs can play there, Fabinho False 9!

1.) 31 Aug 2021 15:14:58
You joke about using midfielders, but Curtis Jones was a left sided forward at academy level. I've watched him bang in a hat trick in the UEFA youth league off the left. He's a very good goalscorer arriving late at the back post or the edge of the box. That knack of knowing where to run and how to find a yard in a crowded box. I'd not complain if he got a chance in the front 3. I think he could play the 'Firmino role' and as i recall Ed001 has said similar in the past.

2.) 31 Aug 2021 15:16:52
This whining is nauseating idk how the Ed’s put up with it.

{Ed0666's Note - what whining?

3.) 31 Aug 2021 15:20:11
To be fair Elliott and Ox can play RW, and can then play Salah at striker. Or as Ed01 suggested, maybe Alisson is worth a shout as a target man! 😂.

4.) 31 Aug 2021 15:25:14
He’s a big lad too MK. I’d fancy him to get on the end of crosses as well. It’s definitely worth giving him a go in that role.

5.) 31 Aug 2021 16:18:37
I was wondering if Elliot might get a game there actually. Bring Thiago back into midfield.

6.) 31 Aug 2021 16:20:32
I agree MK he was miles too good at youth level. The left side midfield and attack we are short. He must get his chance sooner or later.

7.) 31 Aug 2021 18:19:44
Spot on MK. Jones played away at Sheffield Utd last season on the left and was always drifting out wide to allow Mane to tuck in and play thru the middle and was very good there. Oh, and he scored a goal on a 2-0 win.

30 Aug 2021 11:07:09
Coutinho no
Saul no
Sanches no
Sarr not likely
Traore not likely
Bowen not likely
Bissouma if we sell everyone

Origi no one wants him or he wants to go
Minamino same
Ox same

Saved Ed’s a job today, unless I’ve missed anyone?

1.) 30 Aug 2021 11:35:21
Mbappes on then?

2.) 30 Aug 2021 11:50:34
No 'plan B' striker who won't fit our system?

3.) 30 Aug 2021 11:53:54
Neco Williams
Nat Phillips
Rhys Williams
Curtis Jones.

4.) 30 Aug 2021 12:04:41
Karius and Ojo?

Naby’s agent might be able to find him something if he doesn’t rate Klopp. I can hope.

5.) 30 Aug 2021 13:04:46
Brilliant, TM.

Suitable, as in the selling club with let us pay for the player in tiny instalments over the next 34 years.

Everyone saw how badly we needed a new CM in the summer and we didn’t get one, now as per everyone’s predictions our midfield is at bare bones and doesn’t know how to win a football match.
