It's crazy to see despite Edwards and Klopp doing wonders both off/ on the pitch, yet we've posters who are getting itchy with the way we deal in transfer market.

Last season a forward, Left back and midfielder was bought to strengthen our squad/ team.

This season once we got CL revenue we quickly spent on defense which we needed to fill the space.

There's no way the club can continue stockpiling the players, Midfield and forward areas were already strengthen last season.

Despite our squad being massively inflated, ED2 has always maintained we've looked at players which shows Edwards and Co. Are working extremely hard to come up with solutions. That should be positive signs instead of creating "PANIC" here :- (.

1.) 14 Jul 2021 22:07:45
I just don’t want to see us miss out on our top targets as a result of waiting for the sales to come rolling in. There seems to be a few viable options as far as the midfield is concerned but we really aren’t spoilt for choice as far as forward targets go this summer; if Malen gets taken off the table then we could end up with somebody like Traore, which would be a disaster imo.

Some of these players have been up for sale the past 2 or 3 summers and we haven’t got anywhere with selling them. Also it feels awful to admit that i’m itching for a player to leave but the relationship between the club and Keita seems to be getting a bit toxic and i just think we could really do without the headache of a player who is as maligned as he is.

Obviously there’s a long time to go yet and there will be a lot of surprises along the way, it’s just that i’ve never been worried what Klopp and Edwards do with transfers up until this point. The last thing we want after the season we just had is to be caught with a squad that is ageing and stagnant. It needs more quality, it needs to have the average age brought down and it needs some fresh ideas. Going into another season with the likes of Origi, Shaqiri and Keita being expected push the first XI smells like stagnation and complacency to me.

The problem is will anybody actually want to buy them at the prices we set?

2.) 14 Jul 2021 22:35:44
Woolback I get that, but weren't Thiago and Jota bought to strengthen the forward areas and midfield? This season konate to strengthen defense?

3.) 14 Jul 2021 22:37:39
OP, I heartily agree, can’t wait to see what happens.

AW, I sense your concern, but I really do think we will have no choice but to see this season. And if we do miss out on our first choices, we’ll Salah was 3rd or 4th?

4.) 14 Jul 2021 23:57:15
Can people stop worrying about Traore please? Someone suggested 25M for him, Wolves would want prob £50M minimum or maybe even £60M - there is no way we are foolish enough to pay that type of money for him.

Yes Klopp likes him but it's not happening.

5.) 15 Jul 2021 00:00:58
Kopforever, we’re very lightweight in midfield it Henderson and Fabinho aren’t available, and after last seasons centre back debacle we can’t take the risk of not bringing in some more quality in midfield.

6.) 15 Jul 2021 00:32:00
Vvv that's your opinion on (injury base) we are not lightweight at all when we've got hendo, fab, Thiago, OX, Keita, Shaq, Curtis, Milner, etc that's 8 bodies fighting for just 3 positions.

{Ed0666's Note - I’d say 4-5 of them won’t be at Anfield the season after next so will need phasing out and replacing

7.) 15 Jul 2021 01:27:19
Spot on Ed66 mate, we need to phase them out just can't keep on stockpiling player's on the basses of injuries.

{Ed0666's Note - I would expect at least Shaq to go in the next few weeks and some of the other phased out next summer.

8.) 15 Jul 2021 08:10:16
I won't panic or complain if we don't get any more major business done. Would be good to see a few outgoings though. I always compare the upcoming squad with last season's. We've added a potential brilliant defender. Got our starting 2 CB's back and eventually fit and hopefully injury free. Thiago can only improve on last season plus I hope to see Curtis Jones getting many more games, I love watching him play and have high hopes.
So, I think this midfield is good for how Klopp plays.
The forward line remains strong despite dips from Sadio and Bobby last season. Add a hopefully fit Jota to that lineup and our forward line is solid. Will Elliot be given the chance to oust one of the front 3/ 4?
That said, I know we need to be forward thinking and be looking to renew and refresh but as Ed002 has repeatedly pointed out, we have to be more sustainable and FSG have been hit hard by the C.V..
Let's hope the "Johnson variant" doesn't derail the start of the season. :)

9.) 15 Jul 2021 08:11:46
I do tend to agree with that tbh about the phasing out of a few next season as they get older. Interesting you still think Shaq will be gone next few weeks mate, do you think we still find enough funds to bring in a couple of players? Most of our reported targets seem to have gone elsewhere. I just can’t help but feel we must strengthen and bring in a couple of quality players else we will be well short this season.

10.) 15 Jul 2021 09:55:58
Burkeyboy, if we lose Henderson and Fabinho for any extended period we’d be done for, pick any three from Keita, Milner, Ox, Jones and Thiago and we’ll straight up lose matches, it was pretty evident last season on a number of occasions that when we play without those two in midfield we look poor, we need to refresh and move on certain players. And given that we lost all of our first choice centre backs last season it’s not beyond the realms of probability that something like that could happen.

11.) 15 Jul 2021 10:09:47
In my opinion we need a world class attacking midfielder to give something different when Bobby is out of sorts. The Ox, Jones, Naby and Shaqiri are not it.

12.) 15 Jul 2021 12:45:01
Do we have no interest Aour? Lyon attacking Mid? Absolute class, him and Bissouma would be an absolute worldie of a window and put us right back in the mix.

{Ed002's Note - Houssem Aouar (CM) Lyon were frustrated by Arsenal not taking a realistic approach to trying to complete the transfer of the player last summer and with PSG for failing to make a suitable offer. Having lost out on their primary CM choice there remains a chance PSG could look to him again. With the impact of the broadcasting losses, clubs in France are facing a difficult time and Lyon have reduced their €60M asking price this summer to ensure a sale. Juventus interest has drifted as they have a preferred target in mind after failed offers including Federico Bernardeschi and Mattia De Sciglio, who Lyon are keen on but they want to separate the deals. There has been concern about his recent form and this was reflected by Real Madrid showing no interest when approached by his agent approached by his agent. Barcelona were also approached but they will not be in a position to do anything unless Frenkie de Jong is tempted away from the club. Fabio Paratici has taken his interest from Juventus to Spurs. Manchester City, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and others have sent scouts to watch him over the past couple of seasons but none have declared an interest or looked to make an offer for Aouar. Arsenal will be told a take it or leave it price and be expected to pay it - a third party will be used by Arsenal in any direct discussions. Atletico Madrid will offer an option.}

13.) 15 Jul 2021 12:45:40
As far as I can count, we currently have 19 players for 17 non homegrown positions. So whatever people want or are concerned about, at this moment in time without financial considerations we need to have the immediate future of 3 players sorted to add one more, and that doesn't include ox, Wilson or Williams who are homegrown. If we don't, anyone we buy would mean 3 players sitting out unable to contribute even if we desperately need bodies - there is no way the club will sanction that (nor should they)

14.) 15 Jul 2021 15:51:44
Thanks Ed002, would love him at Anfield, a gee up from Klopp and the lad could be top draw.

03 Jul 2021 22:04:14
Really happy for Hendo, Denmark is going to be a stern test for ENG *fingers crossed* for Wednesday.

1.) 03 Jul 2021 22:11:53
As indifferent as I am to England, I can’t help but being delighted for Henderson. Great header.

2.) 03 Jul 2021 22:30:45
I can’t support Kane, Sterling, maguire. Hope Hendo comes home fit.

{Ed014's Note - credit to Kane he was immense and that volley for what would have been his hat trick was quality

3.) 03 Jul 2021 22:43:06
Why not mark? Are you not English?

4.) 03 Jul 2021 22:50:59
At all other sports I support England or GB. I football I have one team only LIVERPOOL. How supporters of Liverpool can now support Sterling, Kane, maguire, Stones I will never ever understand.

5.) 03 Jul 2021 22:56:12
Regardless of club, support England.

6.) 03 Jul 2021 23:12:14
Marty it’s the ScOuSE nOt eNgLiSh crap….

7.) 03 Jul 2021 23:23:32
I support them because I'm English and I put my country before crazy personally hatered. What has sterling personally done to you? Yeah, he changed clubs lots of players do. What would you do if another company offered you a huge pay rise?

8.) 03 Jul 2021 23:27:21
So markp08, would you only support England if it was a team of liverpool players? That's where England have fallen short over the last 50 years. Players staying in their club bubble. At least we have an England team that doesn't and not does it show.

9.) 04 Jul 2021 00:02:19
Markp08 i am totally with you mate, I am a Liverpool fan not an England fan.

10.) 04 Jul 2021 00:25:56
God. Mark and Mighty reds, just asking, how old are you both? Just curious. I can't believe you have such a narrow minded and odd viewpoint of the subject. I'm not even the biggest international fan but I can't believe that an adult would have such a small minded view. Its football. a game. that's all, a game. Put your club hatred aside and realise its England not Manchester United Vs Liverpool etc.

11.) 04 Jul 2021 00:44:40
I’m not English but I’m a massive England fan.

12.) 04 Jul 2021 02:10:32
I support england but I still can’t stand Harry Kane or Harry Maguire.

13.) 04 Jul 2021 03:15:56
Club and Country 2 different entities.

14.) 04 Jul 2021 09:06:58
So if Scotland were playing England and the Scottish side had 6 LFC players in and the English team had 6 Man U players in and no Liverpool players. You are seriously telling me you would support England?

15.) 04 Jul 2021 09:31:07
How bitter not supporting your national team. I love this England team, for the first time in my lifetime we have a balanced squad and everyone is playing for the team. Of course when club footy returns I won’t nothing more than Liverpool success the rivalry is against the clubs not the individuals.

C’mon on Engerland!

{Ed001's Note - how is it bitter to not care about England? It is this kind of post that makes people turn against England. Why can people not just have a different opinion without being attacked for it?}

16.) 04 Jul 2021 09:34:06
why would you want to support Scotland with 6 Liverpool players in it, if they won the world cup it doesn't go in Liverpool's trophy cabinet.

17.) 04 Jul 2021 09:51:20
If England win it doesn’t go in the Liverpool trophy cabinet either. So I am supposed to go to Anfield and Want Robbo to really get stuck into Sterling and then a month later want Sterling to roast Robbo. Never, I couldn’t do it.

18.) 04 Jul 2021 10:22:05
Sterling literally sung songs celebrating the fact a Liverpool supporter was put in a coma and mocking Hillsborough, but yeah, we’re supposed to let that slide just for the summer? No thanks. And that’s on top of the manner which he left the club and took a swing at Gomez (albeit in a very girly manner) .

19.) 04 Jul 2021 10:09:12
I agree with Mark, Mighty Red and Ed001's points here.

I'll admit though that I clapped Hendo's goal and was very pleased for him. I wish he didn't care about England, but as it clearly means so much to him, i want him to do well.

{Ed001's Note - I am pleased for Hendo, I just don't care about England}

20.) 04 Jul 2021 10:31:09
Me neither Ed001. People tell me i'm supposed to feel English but my ancestry is Welsh, and i also have family in Canada, China and Australia. I'm just more passionate about Liverpool. People can tell me i'm not a Scouser if they like, but my sons Grandad on his mothers side grew up 2 streets from Anfield, and his Uncle worked as a Liverpool scout for decades.

So if i'm the dad of a Scouser, i'm embracing the City as if it were my own!

21.) 04 Jul 2021 10:32:48
I'm Irish and I've no problem England doing well at all to be honest I'd like to see them winning I think Southgate has done a great job better than most other manager's that managed the England side.

22.) 04 Jul 2021 12:58:26
Liverpoolmanc (strangename) Sterling did more than leave us he has left and shown a total lack of respect for the club that put him on the map in a host of different ways if you don’t know this I can’t help you!

{Ed025's Note - and how exacly did this disrespect manifest itself arnold?, i cant wait to hear mate..

23.) 04 Jul 2021 12:58:33
It's not bitter at all but the logic behind marks argument is somewhat confused. Of course I'd be supporting England Vs Scotland. not even a debate. Its two separate things. Club team and national team. I'm not massively patriotic but this I'm scouse not English stance is ridiculous. Just an Ego thing. No one is attacking anyone either, just a difference in opinion which is fine and what lifes all about. I don't agree with the logic at all but I'm certainly not attacking Mark or anyone else. I respect marks opinion but don't agree.

24.) 04 Jul 2021 13:34:53
Did he not join in with Bernardo Silva in singing a song demeaning the club? Did he not assault Joey Goey because he lost a football match?

{Ed025's Note - if he did they are hardly hanging offences now are they?, and you call us lot bitters ffs..

25.) 04 Jul 2021 14:04:25
You are bitter mate and maybe I am too but that’s ok and no hanging offence either! Just to clarify as well Sterling is no Suarez! racism is totally unacceptable anywhere.

26.) 04 Jul 2021 14:19:12
But Sterling has no decency or decorum either maybe he just made mistakes like we all do. But I believe his attitude stinks mate and he cries and moans if he doesn’t get his way a full grown child! I really hope he never wins a champions league medal and enjoyed seeing him lose a n the final.

27.) 04 Jul 2021 15:44:39
I have to totally disagree with you on this ed025. Singing a song about an innocent supporter being put in a coma (who will never recover) . That could have been anyone of us, he was just standing there. Oh but its ok because it was Sterling singing it. I feel you have got this 100% wrong. And its a million times worse than calling you bitter, posters do that to each other on here every day.

{Ed025's Note - although i dont claim to be an expert i would doubt that song was sung about sean cox mark as a deliberate insult, you can carried away in the euphoria of winning and sing along to things that other people see differently, having an agenda like you have mate makes people think things that actually are innocent have a more sinister motive..

28.) 04 Jul 2021 18:22:55
Battered in the streets, no hidden messages there. It was exactly what is says on the tin. If a spade is a spade it’s a fecking spade mate.

{Ed025's Note - i just doubt that a footballer and an ex red would sing about something so tragic like that deliberately mark, people sing sectarian songs at games without actually knowing the history behind them thats all im saying mate...or is it just me being naive?..

29.) 04 Jul 2021 19:58:25
It's coming home Mark 🤣🤣🤣.

30.) 04 Jul 2021 20:23:16
Yep when we win number 20 and number 7.

31.) 04 Jul 2021 20:34:58
Cheer up Mark. More to life than hate mate and its only a game. Have a good evening pal.

30 Jun 2021 20:21:58
At last spurs appointed a manager lol.

1.) 30 Jun 2021 20:36:30
Kop forever you seem obsessed with everything other than Liverpool.

2.) 30 Jun 2021 21:41:01
Wow Mighty now I'll have to take permissions from u what shd I post or shouldn't? Just wind your neck back seems your Touche after ENG posts 😂😂.

3.) 01 Jul 2021 06:06:08
Mighty reds has spent the last couple of days talking about Everton and England 😭.

4.) 01 Jul 2021 09:36:57
TB2, MR must be obsessed with all things NOT Liverpool, by his own standards then.

29 Jun 2021 18:54:11
ENG's march is on!

1.) 29 Jun 2021 19:16:10
They will be out in the quarters, scouse not English.

2.) 29 Jun 2021 19:17:49
Not going to lie, the route to the final is as easy as it will ever be at an international tournament. Sweden/ Ukraine in the Quarters and then Denmark/ Czech in the Semis.

The final is most certainly obtainable. However, England are bottle jobs so will likely crumble before then.

3.) 29 Jun 2021 19:24:53
Hahaha will see mighty.

4.) 29 Jun 2021 19:26:52
ENgland will never get a better chance but Sweden, Ukraine and the others will also think it’ll be their best chance to reach a final.

One game at a time but let’s enjoy the hype, it’s coming home!

5.) 29 Jun 2021 19:40:37
I hope they do well and they didn't bottle it tonight, which will give them massive confidence. Never understood this "scouse not english" thing. All those Scouser that played for England over the years certainly didn't feel like that. Anyway, I will be cheering them on in the absence of my own beloved nation 😢.

6.) 29 Jun 2021 19:55:35
Spot on Irish Rover neither I'm English.

7.) 29 Jun 2021 19:56:32
Irish Rover mate, England destroyed Sturridge career will never forgive them for that, and there are plenty more factors, I see England mainly for the little club fans like Lincoln City, can't quite workout whu kopforecer is getting excited it alwaysenda up in tears, the nationalistic is also another thing I hate ten German bombers and all that, I don't think proper Liverpool fans care about England.

8.) 29 Jun 2021 20:10:57
'Proper liverpool fans' 😂 so if you want England to do well that diminishes how much of a liverpool fan you are? What a load of tosh!

9.) 29 Jun 2021 20:11:14
Why wouldn't any proper LFC fan support ENG when our Club legends have played for ENG? From Philip Thompson to Hendo. Some of our Greats have played for Eng.

{Ed014's Note - he just sounds bitter to me mate

10.) 29 Jun 2021 20:20:18
I despise the English national team for the following reasons:
1- Way too many Man Utd players, even 1 is too many
2- Reminds me of Gary and Phil Neville playing together, revolting
3- Beckham, complete N** Jockey
4- Scholes = Never quite as good as Stevie G
5- John Terry= Complete turd of a human being and his momma does Dallas.

11.) 29 Jun 2021 20:21:23
Your wrong on this mighty we should all get behind our national team and the "proper" fans im sure will support their country just as much as their clubs.

12.) 29 Jun 2021 20:34:49
I'm a proper Liverpool fan. I care about England.

I'm not jingoistic, nor am I xenophobic nor do I sing political chants at football matches.

Am I annoyed when our players get injured playing for England, especially in friendlies? Of course I am!

Does that mean I don't support my national side? No.

You're entitled to your views about your national side (whether that is England or whoever) just as I am mine.

However, please don't make stupid statements like " I don't think proper Liverpool fans care about England".

13.) 29 Jun 2021 20:38:13
Hendo changed the game when he came on.

14.) 29 Jun 2021 21:06:39
Ed014, Sounds like the same rubbish we here from some of the parole in Catalonians when Barcelona players play for Spain and do well. The bitterness seems heavy on this one.

{Ed014's Note - very much so mate

15.) 29 Jun 2021 21:07:50
While I'm not going to comment on whether one should support one's national team or not, it's interesting to see the futile attempts of those who don't support the national team try to suppress the voices of those who do, by saying things like "I don't think proper Liverpool fans care about England". So you don't support the national team. You don't support freedom of voice either. What do you actually stand for? Comical.

England played well enough against an uncharacteristic, weak German side. Victory well deserved. And history will remember it. That's all that counts.

16.) 29 Jun 2021 21:47:50
You’d be in a minority in your home country irish rover cheering on England. Make sure no one hears you.

17.) 29 Jun 2021 21:53:41
Best chance for many years. Don’t forget home advantage every game too.

18.) 29 Jun 2021 21:59:05
Sweden and Ukraine are pretty poor, England got an easy 1/ 4 final draw.

What annoys me about England are the neanderthal, anthem and knee-take booing "fans". A shower of S*n-reading, right-wing, Brexiteer gob-rubbish tossers.

19.) 29 Jun 2021 22:06:56
Easy route to the final? I think we all said that on here a few months ago for the champions league. Just get past Real Madrid and it’s plain sailing lol
That match was bloody boring, both teams played awful.

20.) 29 Jun 2021 22:25:49
Willo I don't agree with the booing, but I also disagree with a political Marxist movement being celebrated in sports. it's just more division when we should be uniting against these sickos ruining the world.

21.) 29 Jun 2021 22:34:28
I normally want England to do well but I wanted us to go out in the groups so that clown would get sacked. All the hype tonight because we beat probably the worse German team in my life time. This England squad is one of the best squads compared to all the other countries in but We won’t win it with Southgate in charge god knows how he got the job in the first place.

22.) 29 Jun 2021 22:37:44
Completely agree with you there Willo_the_wisp.

23.) 30 Jun 2021 00:09:10
Most of the Liverpool supporters i know including my close circle of mates aren’t bothered about England, but they’d never be so silly as to say that if you enjoy watching England you aren’t a proper Liverpool supporter. That is just bitter and tribal and a childish display of gatekeeping.

It’s a personal decision and everybody i know respects that. I loved watching England at tournaments for years, even up to the 2018 World Cup. While i still watch them and want them to do well when all is said and done, i’m not really fussed whether they win or lose. In fact, i relish the losing because it always takes place in the same ridiculous manner and i love watching all those who take it really seriously lose their heads, aghast and how it has somehow all gone wrong again, even when the writing has been on the wall way before the tournament.

I think this is the same for many people. Everyone loves those summers watching England as a kid. At some point, you grow up. You see the world, you travel further afield. You meet other football fans from all around the country, mainly those from down South. You see not only how different they are to you, and that not only do their values and culture not correlate with yours, but that a lot of them actually detest you. They sing songs of German Bombers and brand you as a Bin Dipper, and many of their attitudes on both football and the world at large are both toxic and obnoxious. You realise you have nothing in common with these people. The illusion of a nation united, rallying behind a talented bunch of plucky bunch of rogues, is shattered.

You become alienated, desensitised, in some cases even resentful. You read your history, you get a greater understanding of what Liverpool means, what its been through, what it stands for. Many United and Newcastle fans feel the same. Eventually England just begins to feel like one big London club. Your own players are ridiculed, abused and disrespected by the same fans who are loathed by the entire international community, and rightly so. A quick glance at the crowd of any other nation at a tournament and you will see people of all ages, genders, sexualities (presumedly) and ethnicities, families enjoying themselves in the stands, all coming together for a bit of good natured footballing fun. You then compare them to the England fans and it’s a completely different kettle of fish, the arrogance and obnoxious undertones shining through. This is not an accepting environment for the average citizen; it is a cult onto itself.

These sentiments are very commonplace and honestly, i’m a lot happier for having had these enlightening experiences outside of Liverpool. I appreciate and love my home, my mates, my city and my club more than ever, i am proud of where i come from. There is nowhere else like it and it really is its own separate entity in a lot of ways. That is where my identity and pride lies; not with England. And you know what, that’s okay. It means i don’t have to sit there pretending that a rendition of ‘God Save The Queen’ fills me with pride as opposed to a cringe inducing dread that makes my toes curl. It means i don’t have to watch an awful football team managed by whatever absolute helmet they have got to manage them this time around and pulling my hair out over something that is so detached from the average fan, something that there is so little you can do to influence, something where nothing will convince them to listen to reason and common sense. England constantly make decisions as if they are trying to fail, as if they are trying to wind up the public. England have such a good squad this year and honestly, i like so many of the players i’d rather they did well and played some good footie, but it isn’t going to happen. I’m glad that i don’t have to stress about any of this, and i’m glad i don’t have to support that sociopathic, classless waistcoat wally.

But you know what, if you do want to support that, if you do choose to care about England, if you cheer their goals and if the thought of them winning the Euro’s brings a tear to your eye, then that’s okay too. It doesn’t make you any less of a Liverpool fan than the rest of us, and it doesn’t make those of us who are apathetic to England any better than you either. We can all support in our own different ways and such mutual respect goes a long way. If we don’t have that, then we are no better than the xenophobic, hooliganistic, Queen worshipping England Crusaders that we claim to have so little in common with.

24.) 30 Jun 2021 00:20:46
My view on being a red and English is this. I would much rather see Liverpool win the carabao cup than England win the World Cup if given the choice.

25.) 30 Jun 2021 01:50:41
Hey, Rover stop calling yourself Irish because

{Ed0666's Note - There is no room for bigotry and bile on this site. I’m giving you a month long this time because I want to use you as an example and a warning to others. I repeat anyone wants to be a bigot they will get banned for life. We are a soccer website not a political one.

26.) 30 Jun 2021 03:02:29
Hah its always fun to see england win and i don't think a semis against danes would be that easy.
Also it seems the final would be against belgium/ italy. So there is a lot of work to be done.
Let's be honest germany were poor.

To be honest. I'm not bothered what other people think Irish or not or whatever else you want to call yourself.
I think for myself, I'm not guided by a majority rule or what I read in a paper or by a politician. I make my own judgements. I sit really comfortable in the choices and decisions I make.
Have a nice day Kloopboom and Greg red 👍👍.

Born just outside Liverpool, supported Scotland all my life mainly because of Dalglish Hansen Souness and Robertson. c'mon Ukraine.

I think my reluctance with England is because of the way the Conservative government of the 80’s treated the city (I know you said no politics ed0666, but please indulge me on this! ), read up ‘managed decline’ in relation to Thatcher’s thoughts on how the people and city of Liverpool should be treated.

She, and her party, had (and the Tory’s still do have btw) nothing but contempt for the city and it’s people, so to my mind that creates a disconnect between the city of Liverpool and the rest of the country because they sought to inflict a policy like that.

And considering Boris Johnson’s thoughts on Liverpool, it just evidences a truth that it is deeply held contempt in their party.

Additionally, on the whole, England supporters tend to Sun reading flag sh*gging racist brexiteer Tory’s and I wouldn’t cross the street to spit on one of those if they were on fire.

Although, having said that, I’d be happy for Jordan Henderson if he ended up lifting the trophy over Harry Kane as it would annoy so many people.

{Ed0666's Note - sorry mate I didn’t mean no politics I meant bigoted politics. Politics is fair game in here if it’s in context. We just don’t tolerate any fascism, sectarianism, prejudice etc. we need to keep tgat in the pubs and living rooms and out of here. Yes I agree wholeheartedly with you about the Thatcherite policies and I touch upon this on my reply to Burkeyboy

1 thing I enjoy about international tournaments is the lack of emotional involvement. I don't care who wins. I'd like Spain to because I have them in the sweep but aside from that I'm just enjoying it. I don't see any need for anybody to feel bad or have to justify why they do or don't want England to win it.

It's good to see excitement everywhere for ENG vs Germ, after longtime is saw ex veterans excited as teens. Seems international footy isn't dead as people think here :-)

Bloody hard work picking my daughter from nursery, couldn’t move for flag sh*ggers trying to get home.

Thought teams like soton, west ham, Norwich, Watford, Brentford, etc would've snapped our hands to have that kind of experience in their team without taking any risks in-terms of transfer fee. Jesse Lingard didn't do that bad at west ham. Origi is a good player when he plays consistently and has unbelievable eye for goals tho.

Ed1 mate if we are willing to loan them out don't you think they will have many suitors to take them? Think Midtable teams won't have problem paying their wages and acquiring their services where Origi and Shaq will have opportunities to play consistently.

{Ed001's Note - why would anyone want to take Shaq? He can't stay fit. And which club would consider Origi when he is desperate to stay here?}

Origi and shakiri can go on loan if we can't shift them in order to bring non home grown players if needed. It's not that difficult. Think people are over-thinking and over-reacting and clinging on every small things to suit their agenda.

{Ed001's Note - you have to find someone willing to loan them that they are willing to join.}

You're right but pendemic has had a major effect on our plans, think from next season will start having some changes in the squad going forward.

Anyways it's good to see u and Cris Tamworth back and doing well :-) .

Only Blair, Real AG, Bob the Red etc haven't been here for some time now especially Blair I hope they're safe and doing well in this pendemic.

Yes I think we need at least 1 player but I'm not going to keep on repeating especially when it's out of my control.

I have full faith in Klopp, I will always back him no matter what. I have gone through worst as LFC fan and yet he's the only one to win EPL for us so my opinion hardly matters even if I don't agree some of he's decisions. In not going to sit here and cry abt the signings or throw toys out of pram or keep on repeating same stuff lol.
