WDW is that meant to be an excuse? So because we’ve had a decent season, I say decent because we missed out on th me two biggest trophies, we should feel sympathy? Anyone with a half a brain could see this aging squad was an injury or two away from disaster and it’s happened. “Top Fans” on this site who criticise others for wanting healthy investment were vilified as a result. FSG have hung Klopp out to dry, there’s been no investment only replacements. The season is a write off.

I’m with the Ed on this. He broke up some passages of play, but he looked lethargic in possession. Hopefully he can build a run however.

I don’t agree on VVD, he’s had a slow start to this season but his performances last season were exceptional. I’m surprised there’s not more critique of Robbo, the guy looks like a headless chicken at points and his play in and around the box has declined.
The team is slow and devoid of ideas. Without Thiago there’s not a penetrative pass within that midfield. Elliot has work to do in that area. We need quality players in the midfield, which we’re lacking in.

Navy Keith who’s moaning? There’s nothing wrong with critiquing what we have and many believe the midfield lacks in areas, particularly goals. If you compare with City De Bruyne and Silva play consistently and contribute goals. Fabinho is world class and is a consistent player. However Thiago and Hendo don’t always play. Our subordinate players are talented but pale in comparison. Therefore suggesting we need a new midfielder that brings something new is credible.

Adidas kits are over designed, patchy and have so much crap littered over them. Until they can make a relatively plain kit, no thanks. We’re fine with Nike.

That’s why you invest and replenish in your squad year on year to maintain a healthy challenge. We don’t do that unfortunately.
