Mo has C.V.

1.) 13 Nov 2020 15:26:23
Can we just end the season now.

2.) 13 Nov 2020 15:34:39
On the plus side, he can’t get injured now.

3.) 13 Nov 2020 15:47:31
on plus side it during international, Mane and Salah won't be missing anymore games.

4.) 13 Nov 2020 16:55:48
It’s crazy that international matches are going on given the C.V. situation and likelihood of injuries. How can flying players all around the world in the current environment be justified given the risks?

5.) 13 Nov 2020 17:05:50
People can catch it more than once Riomazy!

6.) 13 Nov 2020 17:29:46
To be fair the number of re-infected cases is so low statistically they would not be considered significant. Very much positive from the immunity side of things, but yes some could be really unlucky.

Cheers.

7.) 13 Nov 2020 22:22:19
All I say is I’m extremely disappointed in mo just seen the video of him at his brothers wedding so many people there ridiculous.

8.) 15 Nov 2020 15:34:47
Longthing76. Immunity gained via challenge lasts around 90 days.

Eds do you know if we have any interest in Ben Wilmot? the 19 year old CB at Stevenage?

{Ed002's Note - I had been told (but took no notice) that a move to Watford could be agreed for the kid. With Liverpool's transfer ban I am not sure how they could complete the transfer right now. Certainly Spurs were interested as well.}

1.) 12 Apr 2018 09:54:38
When is the ban over?

{Ed002's Note - April 2019 although they can sign players this coming summer if there are (a) no open charges, (b) no further infractions, and (c) the club can demonstrate that they made the payments that they were committed to.}

2.) 12 Apr 2018 11:17:30
I really hope this ban was a wake up call to Liverpool, no one can try and brush over what we did. It was wrong!

But I hope not only does this reform how we are to young players but that it is a lesson to all clubs. Kids aren’t just assets to buy they need to be treated as proper humans!

3.) 12 Apr 2018 11:07:24
Thanks Ed!

4.) 12 Apr 2018 13:06:49
So he can sign in the summer then.

{Ed002's Note - As I said, if there are (a) no open charges, (b) no further infractions, and if (c) the club can demonstrate that they made the payments that they were committed to. This of course if Liverpool are interested.}

1.) 02 Mar 2022 10:55:58
I think the peak of his club career was Sligo Rovers, honestly.

2.) 02 Mar 2022 11:13:01
Priceless.

"What team out there could beat you? " was Peter Schmeichel's question to Guardiola on CBS Sports Golazo, and his response will get a wry smile from Reds.

"Liverpool. Liverpool are six points behind us. Liverpool were our biggest rivals in the last seasons. They are always there, " Guardiola said.

"They are a pain in the ass all of the time. They are a fantastic team in Europe. "

Living rent free. keep pushing!

1.) 16 Feb 2022 10:52:49
Pep playing games puttin pressure on us that’s all! They are into the 1/ 4’s now he can rest players get the league wrapped up and full assault on the champs league.

2.) 16 Feb 2022 11:14:35
Dont think the term "rest players"really applies to City. Who exactly are you resting when everyone in your squad is top top class?

3.) 16 Feb 2022 12:59:31
Grealish for a start mate.

4.) 16 Feb 2022 13:23:12
Magic he said top class not a top n*b.

5.) 16 Feb 2022 15:11:53
I wish he'd play Grelish every game. £100m mannequin.

6.) 16 Feb 2022 15:51:35
Grealish not rested he's injured.

7.) 16 Feb 2022 16:36:11
Pep knows we can beat Citeh.

He is right to say that . he isn’t bluffing he is just saying it as it is.

If we draw Citeh later in the Champions League it will be a real heavyweight contest…the two best sides in Europe.

8.) 16 Feb 2022 17:58:53
Think bayern are still up there. while lewandowski is there anyway. the 3 best teams for me.

9.) 16 Feb 2022 18:01:11
He actually said everyone is top top class. Really?
Walker
Stones
Grealish
Jesus
There's 4 off top of my head.
Bang average.

10.) 16 Feb 2022 19:13:04
We can beat Bayern… they are wary of Klopp and our side is pretty battlehardened now we are getting towards the business end of the season.

11.) 17 Feb 2022 11:48:16
Pep is pretty poor at mind games so I do believe he is telling the truth. Remember, we are the only team that have beaten him to the title and this by two country miles AND eliminated him from the CL trophy AND won it before him (include Chelsea) .

Pep is aware of of the damage we can do to his team cos he has that black eye’s and bruises to prove it. Will we dethrone them this season? I don’t know BUT until they actually win the title, Pep knows he’s going to have to deal with us and he knows how that can go. Slip up vs Spurs and it’s squeaky bum time.

{Ed025's Note - but you are going on the presumption that liverpool will not slip up either oli, thats a massive shout..

Naby scored a screamer today, hopefully he gets a good few games under his belt and comes back healthy and match fit him on form could do the world of good to our midfield.

1.) 18 Jan 2022 20:21:54
Dear God.

2.) 18 Jan 2022 20:23:19
How many times have we said this in the last three and a half years?

3.) 18 Jan 2022 20:30:00
The Naby Keita Experiment (sounds like a band) has failed miserably. We need to cash in. Always seems to do it for Guinea but not for the reds. He needs moving on.

4.) 18 Jan 2022 20:50:08
Actually feel sorry for him this season as he was going well until Pogba assaulted him at old Toilet.

5.) 18 Jan 2022 21:04:42
The amount of negativity on this website is absurd at the moment taken a proper swing in the wrong direction.

6.) 18 Jan 2022 21:12:32
Look he's here till at least the summer, so him getting a run of full games and hopefully staying fit can only be a good thing. We will need everybody in these four comps.

7.) 18 Jan 2022 21:21:46
Yeah that ship has sailed mate. Naby has been a colossal waste of money for us and i’d much rather give the kids game time over him. If we get anywhere close to £15 - 20mil for him I’d be shocked.

8.) 18 Jan 2022 21:55:01
Kloppers, it's Keita. How can we realistically be positive about a guy who's taken the p. so much in his Liverpool career?

We've had two false dawns with him this season alone. First pre-season where he looked like he might finally have wrapped his head around the concept of putting effort in on the pitch, only for him to revert to his previous habits of strolling about and shirking tackles as soon as competitive footie started and he was dropped for Elliot (a kid) after 2 games.

And then when he (finally) put in a performance against United, he was injured the next game. And any time he's been on the pitch since he's, guess what, strolled around the pitch shirking tackles.

I'm not going to get excited about the potential benefits of an in-form Keita until I see an in-form Keita for more than 60 minutes a season.

9.) 18 Jan 2022 22:47:38
Good aul naby lad!

10.) 19 Jan 2022 08:00:32
In fairness ye could put a good little compilation video together of the absolute screamers he's scored this year like yesterday or against Palace and Athletico. The talent is definitely there but i accept time is running out for Naby at Lfc.

11.) 19 Jan 2022 09:39:00
The screamers and the handful of occasions where he dances past three opposition players with the ball underlines the level of talent he has but doesn't use.

Keita could be so good if he just worked harder on the pitch. I know he's had injuries, but Henderson had bad runs of injury. Look at what he achieved. It took 4 years of constant injuries before Sturridge was finally finished at this level. Even Lallana who's not going to be remembered as a great, did a lot more for us despite bad luck with injuries. It's largely a work ethic problem from Keita and that's what annoys me so much about him. I cannot stand lazy players. You're being paid more in a week than most people make in 2 years, you could at least run.

Compare him to Lucas. Lucas does not have Keita's technical ability, and even at his peak was behind Keita in terms of strength and speed too. But he worked hard, made the most of what he had and was a tidy little player. In fact he was becoming a very good one before he got a set of studs into his cruciate. And even though he was never the same after, he was still able to graft and do a job for us. You wouldn't worry that he'd duck out of a tackle that'd cost us a chance like you do with Keita.

12.) 19 Jan 2022 10:29:54
I just don't see the point in persisting with a player who plays 1 good game in 10 and often goes into hiding. Our stats are worse this season when he's on the pitch because he simply does not do enough.

It would be my dream for him to become the player we thought we bought, but given his performances, the constant injuries and how many seasons it has been now, i do not see why anything will change.

I would much rather put faith in the likes of Jones and Elliot who are much younger at this point.

13.) 19 Jan 2022 11:39:20
His time is running out, and I’d expect he’ll be leaving in the summer, personally I did want us to sell last summer, but as he’s here he should be given chance to show what he can do, he was going well until the injury (****ing **** Pogba) and AFCON could be his chance to refind fitness and form which will help us in the final months of the season and drum up interest if we do intend selling.

Question for any EDS with Liverpool drawing Preston in the cup will Sep be able to play against us? I know its not allowed in league games just wondered if cup competitions are different?

{Ed002's Note - He can but he could not subsequently play for Liverpool in the same competition.}

1.) 23 Sep 2021 11:12:57
Thanks Ed002 enjoy the rest of your day.

{Ed002's Note - And you.}

2.) 23 Sep 2021 14:59:37
That opens up quite a can or worms as how would you expect a player to give his all to knock out hisbparent club?

3.) 23 Sep 2021 15:59:35
Surely if he wasn’t trying his hardest to knock us out, that would reflect a lot worse on him and would make Liverpool question if they want a player like that.

4.) 23 Sep 2021 23:35:38
Pip Coutinho didn't seem to have any problems doing what he did to Barca. It would probably bring out the best in most players who want to prove their worth to the club who deemed them surplus to requirement for the season.
I hope he has the best game of his career so far if he gets the chance to shine.

Reports say Naby and the rest of the national team our out of the country now he personally paid for the private jet out fantastic that they are all safe.

1.) 07 Sep 2021 17:50:11
Makes a nice change from the usual story of Naby and the restaurant waiter.

2.) 07 Sep 2021 21:09:30
He kept the receipt to claim it.

3.) 07 Sep 2021 23:44:44
Nice to hear that. It must be an awful thing to be in that world. Going for an international match and the world falls apart. Wonderful to hear he fronted the bill for his comrades.

Assuming he meant Mike Gordon Ed he was at the game last night to maybe try and convince him to stay longer.

{Ed002's Note - That is not how contract discussions are dealt with. Whilst both may well have been at the game there would not be such discussions after the match.}

I think this summer might see a lot players moved on

Taki - needs to find a club that'll play him everyweek
Origi - going to AC Milan - wish him all the best love the man
Neco - needs to move on for first team football
Phillips - needs to move on for first team football
Davies - panic buy by us needs to move on
Ox - needs to be playing week in week out
Adrian - end of contract
Karius - end of contract
Rhys - needs another loan
Milner - odd one could stay for another year maybe coaching but he'll be on high wages which is not good

include Salah and Gomez as potentials that's 12 players going big summer.

Best out of the bunch would be Pedro, Cornet potentially Foster on a free if Adrian is going as a third choice GK English aswell might appeal to a lot of clubs.

{Ed002's Note - Forster has a greed a move elsewhere already. Cornet will be moving elsewhere.}

From a quick Google. Preston fans love him, hard working good on the ball he’s started 50 games in all comps and 43 out of 46 in the league think he is in the top 10 or 11 for most minutes in the league. He played RB/ RWB for the first half of the season up and down the right side constantly. second half of the season he was switch to the right hand side of a back 3. Preston want him back for another season, pep has said he’ll be back with us for pre season and for from there maybe a CB moves on this year and he comes in and fills the space and covers RB by all accounts looks like a brilliant loan spell for the young lad.
