Linked to Schuurs, any truth to it Eds?

Jude Nkunku

{Ed002's Note - Try searching.}

1.) 27 Apr 2023 11:04:43
Ed002 confirmed interest but the price is high (€50m from memory) . He's a good player though. On pure defensive qualities he is a better player than Ndicka. Ndicka is more versatile though and obviously cheaper.

I've not seen him play since he moved to Torino but at Ajax I always thought he looked better for them than De Ligt ever did. He just missed the hype train that their 18/ 19 semi final heroes (Donny, De Ligt, De Jong, Ziyech) got a ticket on, despite them all being remarkably average.

2.) 27 Apr 2023 23:10:54
@MKS Why do you see Frenkie De Jong as average? I don't watch Barcelona so no idea what he is like but have heard good reports about him.

3.) 28 Apr 2023 08:44:01
phil, he's just a bit of a fraud in my opinion. Got a neat touch and turn in him but his passing is average, he can't defend overly well, he doesn't score enough, he doesn't create enough etc. Over rated rather than being terrible. It says it all that he struggles for game time ahead of a declining Busquets and a couple of teenagers (however talented they are) . De Jong isn't a bad player but I'd expect a lot more from a player who cost that much and is on his insane salary. I haven't seen him play well since he left Ajax.

4.) 28 Apr 2023 20:17:34
We've been watching Schuurs since he was a teenager.

06 Apr 2023 10:32:09
Leopold Wahlstedt Eds, any interest? Seems like a highly rated and also cheap young Kelleher replacement.

Jude Nkunku

{Ed002's Note - Leopold Wahlstedt (G) Out of contract at the end of 2023. Getting a Work Permit would likely be very difficult. Interest of Reading moved on.}

1.) 06 Apr 2023 12:13:47
Don’t we have enough goalkeepers? Pitaluga, for example. And I am sure there is another promising youngster. As well as Adrian.

2.) 06 Apr 2023 12:25:45
SEA, we might only have Alisson soon.

Kelleher will probably leave for game time and Pitaluga might as well according to Ed002. Adrian is out of contract and it's unclear if he'll be getting a new one.

There is another kid called Harvey Davies. He's good enough to be 3rd choice in my opinion but making him 2nd choice would be a huge gamble.

3.) 06 Apr 2023 13:04:06
Replacing Adrian with a home grown veteran would make sense while we build Davies and/ or Pitaluga opportunities up like we did with Kelleher over the last three years.

{Ed077's Note - I hear Harvey Davies is a good looking chap?

4.) 06 Apr 2023 13:34:11
We've been looking at Ron-Robert Zieler in case Adrian leaves and at Bart Verbruggen for when Kelleher leaves.

5.) 06 Apr 2023 15:18:25
Being a reserve is a completely different mindset from being a starter or a developing youth keeper. I'm not sure it serves Marcelo or any of the young keepers well to be the primary backup right now, and you're not going to want your primary backup playing youth games in order to keep their rhythm. You want a guy who is mentally strong enough to sit for months and then answer the call and start 4-5 games in a row, and give you a chance in those games too. Could be the difference in a title race.

6.) 06 Apr 2023 19:06:29
I think a lot of it depends on the individual and their physical and mental capabilities. Kelleher was pretty young (for a goalkeeper) when he made his debut but he has always looked the part and Donnarumma was about 12 when he made his debut. Pitulaga and Davies are pretty young but might still have the attributes. A bit like the old saying that if you are good enough you are old enough.

7.) 06 Apr 2023 20:51:49
What are peoples thoughts on keeping Kelleher and selling Alison?

8.) 06 Apr 2023 22:12:01
A goalkeeper is only as good as the defence in front of him so they say. Financially you would get a lot more money for becker, so Jurgens self generated transfer kitty will be a lot higher.

With Kelleher in goal would we be substantially in a weaker position, his past performances have proved otherwise.

If it means two good midfield players sign with Kelleher in goal, or one good midfield player signs if becker in goal, i would think its a low risk but high gain with Kelleher in goal as he has never let the club down.

9.) 07 Apr 2023 02:10:37
Don’t be silly.

14 Mar 2023 11:58:36
Anton Stach Eds, liverpool interested?

Jude Nkunku

{Ed002's Note - Anton Stach (DM/CM) Mainz are aware that Spurs and West Ham are scouting DM players for the summer and that both have sent scouts to watch Stach. West Ham are beginning to recognise the reality of losing Declan Rice and need to improve their recruitment methods that see them stumble from window to window. Borussia Dortmund have spoken to his club as they expect to miss out on Manu Kone.. Mainz will listen to offers as they look to trim their bloated squad.}

1.) 14 Mar 2023 16:40:52
Year left, in the German squad for a reported £12m. Would have been a good shout, pity there's no interest.

2.) 14 Mar 2023 21:05:13
Latest transfer news and rumours on Teletext:

RM is willing to pay Dortmund 100m euros (£88m) for Bellingham plus £35 mill in add-ons. (Sport1)

Christopher Nkunku will be a Chelsea player next season after the blues reached a full agreement with RB Leipzig to sign the France forward,25. (football insider)

This next one stinks of corruption!

La Liga president Javier Tebas says he wants to see PSG forward Mbappe play for Real Madrid. (Sport)

West Ham are trying to sign Norwich Citys Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Sara this summer. (football insider)

West Ham and Leicester players face significant pay cuts if they are relegated this season (Telegraph and Mail)

PSG are looking to sign Haaland this summer to partner Mbappe. (football insider)

3.) 14 Mar 2023 21:49:40
Not wanting to rub more salt into the wounds of man utd after the recent 7-0, but on todays date 14 March in the year 2009 we beat man utd away by the date 1-4 the goal scorers (torres, gerrard, aurelio, dossena) . We should have won the prem that year also, as we were the best team in the league.

Lest we forget!

{Ed025's Note - if you were the best team in the league you would have won it bond, its not rocket science mate..

4.) 14 Mar 2023 22:05:44
Oh Ed025 I am your number one supporter and back up when these LFC posters gang up on ye, after that disappointing reply i am filing for a divorce, am not ye friend any more i want me toys back as well and me ball!

Nighty Night Ed025, I might forgive ye tomorrow? depends if we win or get beat against real madrid?

{Ed025's Note - you get beat mate.. :)

5.) 15 Mar 2023 00:26:23
Thanks 007 and your divorce from Ed25 is in the post!

6.) 15 Mar 2023 08:36:20
"Thank You" for the reassurance Ed001.

Having slept in different beds last night, i have forgiven him as he's not a bad egg after all.

Once again thanks for the reassurance that it arrived safely as one never knows these days.

Off to the quayside Crown Plaza Hotel now, which is next to the famous Liver Building for me daily swim and gym.

{Ed001's Note - clearly Ed25s eggs are bad that's why he ended up supporting the blues.}

7.) 15 Mar 2023 07:21:00
Any idea where Kone is going then eds2?

{Ed002's Note - Manu Kouadio Kone (CM/DM) Prior interest of Milan has gone. Newcastle did approach Borussia Muenchegladbach but they will resist a sale and try and agree a new deal, but Newcastle remain keen. RBL are keen to add Kone to replace Laimer. Bayern Munich are light on DM and CM and are looking to add Kone and Laimer in the summer. Borussia Dortmund see him as a Bellingham replacement if he leaves in the summer. Not first choice for Chelsea but Vivell will push for him - which could spell the end for Ngolo Kante or Loftus Cheek. Watched by a number of other Premier League sides including West Ham, Manchester United, Liverpool and Brighton. A wildcard maybe PSG. Player wants Chelsea move.}

8.) 15 Mar 2023 13:50:46
I'd choose Kone over pretty much every midfielder we have been linked with, bar Caicedo. Seems like the club doesn't necessarily see a need for this profile of player and continues to target more technical players.

{Ed002's Note - I suspect he will get his wish and move to Chelsea.}

9.) 15 Mar 2023 14:16:18
That's a shame for us, Ed.

Kone will be a great foil for Enzo - and at a pretty good price too.

The sooner we get that sporting director in, the better as we're shopping like Juventus and Barcelona these days.

Missed the game lastnite, how did young chambers get on?

Jude Nkunku

1.) 27 Oct 2023 09:40:00
He did ok mate. Whipped in one great ball in the first half.

Was a decent game to watch and you can only beat what’s in front of you but these Europa teams would struggle against English championship teams.

Toulouse actually tried having a go at us last night over teams parking the bus which made it a goal fest.

8 changes and we put 5 past them which is great for the squad and to keep momentum going for Sundays game against Forest.

2.) 27 Oct 2023 10:16:37
I thought he looked bit over rawed at startt, but improved as game went on. Hopefully he get another few chances coming up and he grows into it.

3.) 27 Oct 2023 15:38:33
Toulouse showed a lot more courage and desire under tough circumstances than the weak, pathetic set of soup sandwiches that Sean Dyche rocked to Anfield with at the weekend. Pathetic mentality, IMO. Oh, and the Toulouse fans were amazing, as well. Hats off to them.

21 Oct 2023 19:25:38
Shout out to Elliott, another superb performance from the bench as he's done all season. easy to forget he's just 20.with him, curtis, grav, zsob nd Mac all 24 or under we are probably better equipped in midfield goinfg forward than any team in the league. even ahead of city.

Jude Nkunku

1.) 21 Oct 2023 20:55:04
But none of them get in City’s first 11. We need a top class number 6.

2.) 21 Oct 2023 21:25:47
The impact of our bench players has been phenomenal this season. Elliot probably the pick of the bunch. 100% agree Jude and the future is red.

3.) 21 Oct 2023 22:14:08
Who gives a toss about City?
Appreciate what you have instead of whining about what you want.

4.) 21 Oct 2023 22:59:19
Agreed on Elliot he’s been brilliant off the bench.

5.) 21 Oct 2023 23:26:57
Zsob doesn't get into Citys side? definitely does. and to be honest i think De Bruyne as the best around are coming to an end, becoming as injury prone as Thiago. Look citys midfield has been the best for a few seasons but we've signed 3 gems this summer.

6.) 22 Oct 2023 00:25:59
Unfortunately with macallister playing out of position and not playing to his potential I can't see how people think we have the best midfield.

7.) 22 Oct 2023 01:09:11
Regards Elliot, probably the best super sub since David fairclough. His best position atm is off the bench for me.

8.) 22 Oct 2023 01:21:08
Because somw of the football being played is faantastic, even though they hardly know each other. wat we've done to our midfield in a window is off the scales.

9.) 22 Oct 2023 05:35:03
Szob not in cities 11? You joined the Emirates group and started smoking?

10.) 22 Oct 2023 06:46:59
To be honest, our performance was as dull as it can be.

Now I understand why klopp selects over worked andy over tmisikas every sinle time. He was lucky not to get booked for stupid silly stuff he was doing.

Konate got real lucky and Klopp took him out correctly.

We are disjointed throughout. Mac has been total disappointment. looks like he is Milner at 40+ with his pace. Even then Milner would outpace him. Very poor.

Szoboszlai did not have a good game.

Only good thing is we got 3 points inspite of very poor performance.

11.) 22 Oct 2023 08:27:54
Not sure how many of our XI would get into AC Milan’s XI, and we know how that worked out.

Anyways, the team were great today and so far this season. Coveting another team as a measuring stick is asinine.

12.) 22 Oct 2023 08:39:22
Get real. Rodri, KDB, Silva are still the best around. We have some way to go yet.

13.) 22 Oct 2023 08:40:29
City’s starting midfield - Silva, De Bruyne and Rodri are 29, 32 and 27 respectively.

Our starting line up -Dom, Macca and Curtis are 22, 24 and 22

Granted Foden’s only 23 and Doku is 21 but the rest of City’s midfield isn’t much to shout about.

We are on the up and have RG @ 21, Harvey @ 20 and Baj @ 19. I know which group I’d prefer.

14.) 22 Oct 2023 08:44:46
Spot in Jude. what the management has done wrt getting this new look midfield gelling in such a short amount of time is fantastic.

15.) 22 Oct 2023 09:23:46
Some posters are never satisfied and belittled our players at every opportunity, who cares about Citeh and who they have.

16.) 22 Oct 2023 09:24:37
Mark and Walter with the most boring takes on here ?. Maybe you guys could cosy up on a WhatsApp group, fawn over City and slag our players off there.

17.) 22 Oct 2023 10:28:48
There is no slagging off going on. But you guys go to extremes. It’s a good start but let’s all it is atm. Something solid to build on.

18.) 22 Oct 2023 11:17:25
Jones and Elliot wouldn’t get into the city Arsenal or spurs 11 never mind mid! It’s not hate it’s my opinion! They have started the season well but plenty of time before the hangmen and keyboard warriors come out!

{Ed001's Note - but you are the keyboard warrior on here Jay. Before shouting your mouth off about them, go look in the mirror. You are the biggest keyboard warrior on the site by a long way. It is embarrassing to call out others for something you are far more gulty of.}

19.) 22 Oct 2023 12:24:12
Mark, constantly comparing and equating what we are or do to City is becoming tedious and downright cringe and obssessive. For the record, I don't care about City nor their players nor do I care if any of our players would walk into their team or "insert rival team lineup here" cos we don't play like City nor like other teams play hence, different systems needing different players. And NO, we are not trying to be like City hence, we don't have any ways to go, either.

And personally, Im not interested in playing like City cos if we were, we wouldn't have bodied them as much as we have under Klopp. We play the way we play with the players we have to fit the system deployed. The City comparisons need to do one. Godd grief!

20.) 22 Oct 2023 12:46:32
Never compared us to City this season, you do go way OTT Oli. I am nearly saying let’s not get ahead of ourselves. One other massive plus is VDD at near his best he makes a massive difference.

21.) 22 Oct 2023 12:51:18
maybe i should have said Arsenal?.

22.) 22 Oct 2023 13:18:37
Jones has started the season very well and Sob looks an excellent player and I’ve never seen a player cover as much ground and at the speed he does.

Elliot has looked good coming off the bench but would like to see him tried on the left as he cuts inside every time on the right and opposition know this.

Seen Endo live in our last Europa game and he looked a little off the pace with most of his passing going sideways or backwards. But in fairness the whole team were off the boil that night.

Mac is being asked to play his not strongest position and is doing lots of good things but also getting caught out as well.

Grav looks a player and will get better and better. All in all looking at results it’s been a very good start to the season.

Nunez has been excellent this year and his build up play has been impressive.

Despite Jota being the most unliked Liverpool player on the internet he’s extremely popular amongst the Anfield crowd on match day with his song being easily sung the most.

23.) 22 Oct 2023 13:36:42
Mark, if you don't know whthat is what you are doing, man so don't try to play with words here. You could go ahead and say we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves without saying "I don't see player X starting for City or any other team". Wat has that got to do with anything?

24.) 22 Oct 2023 13:42:32
Pressed send too soon. This is for Mark. If you don't know what a comparison is then I propose you look up the word. I don't care what City or any other club does nor do I care if any of our players will start for them or vice versa. And nobody cares about what happens last season either. Not anymore, at least.

Also people are not getting ahead themselves here, IMO. All we are doing is assessing the performance of the team overall and if people even want to get ahead of themselves then, let them. Again, the comparisons with City are boring now.

25.) 22 Oct 2023 13:51:21
@Mark, another way of looking at it is that we have been competitive in every game we have played since the season began. it’s not a good start it’s a team playing well. You give the impression that you are waiting for us to mis-step so that you can air your list of grievances.

26.) 22 Oct 2023 18:38:00
I don’t have any grievances. But the season has only just started. The op said we are the best equipped in midfield in the league. We aren’t yet. I think there are too many red tinted glasses on here.

27.) 23 Oct 2023 00:53:35
I don't care whether any of our midfielders would get into city's team. Its a team game and our mf is doing fine playing the way that Klopp wants (esp when you look back to last year) . One caveat about Grav - he looks good going forward but im still in 2 minds about his work off the ball particularly when defending. Personally Id like to see him work much harder getting back and putting in the hard yards. But its early days and maybe that's just him getting used to the team and how Klopp wants him to play.

19 Oct 2023 22:04:19
Interesting to see kudus's agent saying his client had agreed a contract with Chelsea but then they made Ajax a ridiculously low offer, and that they did that with many players over the summer. See lads were not the only low-ballers around, were not the devils in a league of Angels?.

Jude Nkunku

1.) 20 Oct 2023 00:46:41
Well yeah, how many offers did Brighton reject from Chelsea until we smashed the roof in? I dunno how it all works obviously but I tend to not swing too far in either direction and think I’m healthier for it lol.

2.) 20 Oct 2023 05:27:50
Basically how negotiations works the ABC.

3.) 20 Oct 2023 15:09:25
JN, there alots of examples like the one you mentioned like "sell to buy". Now heaven forbid LFC do the very same things other clubs if not bigger clubs like RM do for some of our unhinged "fans" out there who know nothing more than bash the club for doing the very same things everyone else does.

12 Sep 2023 21:55:13
Ben Doak, what a player! Will be our Saka.

Jude Nkunku

1.) 13 Sep 2023 03:37:19
Hopefully yes. but right now he's heading towards adama traore. but yes i too hope im wrong.

2.) 13 Sep 2023 04:26:46
Why can’t he be the next Salah? Why downgrade to the next Saka?

3.) 13 Sep 2023 05:27:15
Needs to get his head up when he has space.

4.) 13 Sep 2023 05:31:08
Why can’t he just be Ben Doak?

5.) 13 Sep 2023 07:53:22
I don’t know why, comparing a 17 year old who looks to have everything he needs as another ‘ Adama Traore’ seems really disrespectful. Can he at least start his Liverpool career properly before we start making comparisons?

6.) 13 Sep 2023 08:14:15
Good point West, just used Saka cos he was more or less the same age as Doak is now when he started appearing for Arsenal. Worth remembering he got one goal in 26 league appearances that year for people knocking doaks end product.

7.) 13 Sep 2023 08:48:39
I don't see it unfortunately, his end product is shocking, another player being hyped up but will end up at Blackburn in a year or so.

8.) 13 Sep 2023 08:39:52
said the same about Brewster, he is doing taxi in league one. let's not get caried away and allow the kid to grow.

9.) 13 Sep 2023 08:54:22
@Jude, Saka is 21 born on Sept 5th 2001. Doak is 17, born on 11th Nov 2005. There is over 4 years difference in their age.

It’s more than likely that the kid will get ‘his head up’ as he develops and especially if people get off his back. He’s a kid who is learning what it takes to make the next step up. He is years from being the finished product. It would be great if fans, super, casual or whatever else category, stop being so judgemental and let him and the club get on with working on the areas that may need improving. If it doesn’t work out and he’s not a world beater by the next transfer window, we can give Uncle Todd’s travelling circus a call. By 2030, Ben will have reached the ripe old age of 24.

10.) 13 Sep 2023 08:57:56
Messi was the next maradona until he earned his name, WDW. That's just how it is.

Can anybody who is slating his end product tell me whether they've watched him for more than a handful of cameo appearances? Genuinely.

I've only seen his few first team minutes and that is no time to judge a 17/ 18 year old. Anybody can look good in a yard of space, getting that yard in the first place is the hard bit.

11.) 13 Sep 2023 09:06:09
Does enjoy the potential in this player. Decision making will improve with experience and working with Klopp. Mane and Salah's numbers weren't that good before they joined. To compare him to anyone is absolutely pointless. Let's see in 2 years and we could have a worldy on our hands.

12.) 13 Sep 2023 09:07:48
Agree 100% west, also think there's absolutely nothing wrong with getting excited about a superb talent coming through. there's enough negativity on here, let's just enjoy the fact with have a young winger better than John Barnes coming through??. up the reds.

13.) 13 Sep 2023 09:16:33
Who knows how it will go for him. I do remember a certain Harry Kane tipped for absolutely nothing before 21. He is someone who worked really hard to get where he is.

Equally we all thought Harry Wilson was the new Gareth Bale (before he retired to pursue a golf career during his football career), and that didn't turn out as we thought.

14.) 13 Sep 2023 09:21:58
Without an end product, he'll quickly find himself in League 1.

15.) 13 Sep 2023 10:01:54
There's plenty of time left for Doak. The boy hasn't even turned 18 yet! We can point out flaws in his game currently without judging him too harshly. He is a bright young talent with bags of talent, and I hope he is able to fulfill that potential with us.

16.) 13 Sep 2023 13:03:15
Did I really read someone calling him Adama Traore. He could be worse - true, but it is also true that he has the potential to become a top player. Please Be patient with young kids. He has played only 13 minutes this season.

And please don't tell me he has played 13 minutes for a reason.

17.) 13 Sep 2023 13:07:08
Doak scored 6 goals in 8 youth league games last season. He has end or product and will develop it further. Yet some clowns on here expect him to come on for a few minutes and make endless scores and assists at just 17 years of age.

18.) 13 Sep 2023 13:29:20
If we can’t “judge” our players then f-k it we might as well stop going to the games and just watch the results.
Fans, certainly those who pay their money, have the right to assess their own players.
What’s worse? Hyping him as Saka or downing him as Traore? Or saying he needs an end product or to get his head up?

If we can’t use a message board to talk about our own players then what’s the point of supporting a team?

19.) 13 Sep 2023 13:29:43
Better than John Barnes? No pressure there then ???.

20.) 13 Sep 2023 13:32:31
Spot on, West Derby Wanderer3. These comparisons are just weird, man.

21.) 13 Sep 2023 15:38:42
I’d love another John Barnes, but he was a one off, maybe one day we’ll be saying some kid is the new Doak ?.

22.) 13 Sep 2023 17:13:08
There’s a difference between talking about a player and criticising a kid who you’ve hardly seen. Give him a break and let him develop.

23.) 13 Sep 2023 20:30:17
spot on, enjoy him before the Saudis come offering £200m.

24.) 13 Sep 2023 23:04:20
@Ron, of course people judge. It’s just the comparisons that are used to form judgements are ridiculous. Comparing a 17 year old who has, literally, about half an hours experience of plating in the first team, against someone like Salah is just plain stupid.

@Quo - agree with your point about new talent being branded ‘the next’ until they become ‘themselves’, so to speak.

25.) 13 Sep 2023 23:25:43
I remember when Jordan Rossiter was the next Steven Gerrard. That didn't go too well.

26.) 16 Sep 2023 00:51:23
Just as a footnote, it was interesting to see the reaction of one of the Members of the Spanish media compliment Doak, saying that. The 17 year old was the best player on the Scottish U-21 team. The lad continues to get good press (albeit this forum being the exception to the rule) .

18 May 2023 12:40:34
Any news on young Kaide Gordons injury Ed001?So much potential in him and Doak.

Jude Nkunku

{Ed001's Note - not heard anything but I personally don't see anything in Gordon to suggest he has what it takes.}

1.) 18 May 2023 13:30:49
Id say the same for Clarkson and morton, both haven't exactly shined in lower leagues. Bradley and doak have huge potential though as does the young winger musialowski.

{Ed001's Note - yes they have though so you are talking nonsense.}

2.) 18 May 2023 14:31:44
Only one way to find out if they’re good enough is to give them minutes but if we don’t strengthen the midfield and go into next season relying on unproven kids something drastically needs to change.

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool will add to the midfield.}

3.) 18 May 2023 14:17:56
Ouch!

Topg have you seen clarkson play? I have all season and he’s been the best player at Aberdeen. He won young player of the year. Has the highest assists for the dons and second in the league. He is also 3rd in the dons scoring list for the season all of which were screamers. Hardly poor.

Would have Gordon well ahead of the likes of Morton and Clarkson personally. Thought he was at the same level as Doak before this injury.

6.) 18 May 2023 17:00:14
I agree with Ed001. Never seen the hype with Gordon. He lacks pace or upper body strength, and he doesn't have the brain or technique to make up for it. Reminds me of Tom Ince. He's just not got enough to make it at Premier League level in my opinion. Doak and Elliott are both miles ahead as right wing options. Doak has pace and aggression, and Elliott is clever and silky.

{Ed001's Note - that is how I see it too MKS apart from the Ince comparison. To be fair to Ince, he had strength.}

7.) 18 May 2023 17:26:22
Inces issue was his dad and his ego. He could of been a decent player but that two egos massaging each other derailed his career.

8.) 18 May 2023 17:34:37
Jude, from what I saw (and I have seen both play) Gordon does not have the speed nor anywhere the dribbling ability of Doak. Doak can run circles around a player with ball at feet, and not get touched.

9.) 18 May 2023 18:13:27
Considering all of Gordons appearances for the 1st team were around his 17th birthday i wouldn't expect him to have the same speed or upper body strenght as fully grown Premier League athletes. I see something in him, lot of kids would have snatched at the chance for his goal in the fa cup last year while he was cool as a cucumber, and was a hairs breath away from being our youngest Premier League scorer ever. High standards you guys adhere to. All i can say is from looking at him for the youths he was already been double teamed in every u23's game at 16 (bit like Doak too in fairness) and it seemed every manager at that level had told his team to give him the Mo Salah treatment. Im excited for both him and Doak personally.

10.) 18 May 2023 18:36:12
No worries Jude, it's an opinions game mate. He did take that goal well to be fair to him.

11.) 18 May 2023 20:00:10
Doak seems a proper winger to me. While Gordon seems more a wide forward. Form his limited appearances, I felt his game is suited to getting at the end of chances, rather than being the creator. While with Doak, when he is on the field, a lot of play goes through him. Very different types of players, and Doak's ceiling is quite frightening, while Gordon can be a great player in the right system.

Wasn't sure if it was Clarkson or Morton but heard one was having a terrible loan. Only seen appearances for Liverpool Morton looked better than Clarkson but both will end up like a rossiter spearing imo.

Gordon turned 18 last October - I wouldn’t be writing him off just yet.

Both excellent WDW, even if they became squad players they would save us a fortune.

If its for free in the summer its a good signing for me too. especially if the club still thinks Chambers needs a loan.

I think he'd be as good as anyone else were linked with to replace Mo to be honest. Very good player, not Salah but who besides Mbappe is?

I'd leave him where he is, not convinced he can be a top midfielder.

Dont get the obsession with this tough tackling Cattermole-like No.6.Them days days are gone its more about everyone doing their job to close the space as a team.
