Long time reader, first time poster.
Do we have any real interest in Jesse Rodriguez from PSG (ex Real Madrid)? Some articles popping up this morning. Thanks
{Ed002's Note - Jese Rodriguez is available (because he has not settled, has been playing badly and has had a dreadful time since arriving in Paris) and has made it clear he wants to return to Spain. If Firmino, Coutinho or Mane were to leave it would make sense - else it makes absolutley zero sense. Right now PSG have shared two approaches for the player - neither of which is Liverpool. I understand a third side is also now showing an interest.}

I have a feeling Jota might stay too but Nuñez definitely going. Diaz I'm not sure what happens with him. that one is always 50/ 50 every transfer window.
If Wirtz is coming to us, then that makes for an interesting one because he's played a lot on the left but we're pretty stacked on the left wing. Not sure where Slot would play him.
And do we still go for a CF if we blow that much budget on Wirtz? Or is Diaz getting converted to a false 9 or something?

I doubt it Kopcat but like Johnny said, we do have a number of players that could be sold for decent fees like Elliot, Jota, Nuñez, Kelleher etc.
If Wirtz comes and the fees are structured in a way that the full amount is not paid upfront, I could see it happening. Wirtz could be a player that stays with the team for many many years so when you put it that way, then as crazy as the fees are, they become a bit more tolerable if broken down over a number of years.

I could see Jota staying as back up to a new striker and Nuñez going.
I'm not convinced by Sesko and bunch of others either. Isak and Alvarez would be the picks for me but we won't get either.
I'd like Cunha to come in as a forward addition.
I also wonder if there's a chance Slot will use Salah through the middle some games as he ages with Frimpong on the wing and Bradly behind at RB. I can't see Bradly on the bench most of the seasons. What do you think Ed001?

Nah not consistent enough. Ekitike also not good enough (currently) . Isak or Alvarez for me but neither will happen imo.

He wouldn't have been my first choice as I don't think he's strong enough defensively but man, he's such an explosive player and with a very high ceiling.
I think he'll do well for us and the passion to play for us is also massive.
