The other thing, he was among the City players who were singing that song which not only mocked Sean Cox being given life changing injuries (getting “battered on the streets” was the specific line), but also mocked Hillsborough (“victims of it all”) . Personally wouldn’t want him at the club after that.

De Bruyne hasn’t got the legs anymore, plus he’s been very injury prone the last couple of years. Not saying he hasn’t been a great player, because he was, and that’s the key word “was”. Time has visibly caught up with him.

The Souness comparison couldn’t be more wrong if you tried. Souness moved on at the end of his career and we got a very good fee for him. Arnold is in his prime and he’s going for nothing. I don’t wish him well if he leaves. If he stays, great, if he goes then I hope it goes badly.
