Wirtz release clause is £29.5 Million (TNT Sports) no wonder FSG and everyone else interested.

007

1.) 16 May 2025 22:07:10
Yeah, he’ll have his choice of many clubs.

2.) 16 May 2025 22:22:45
That’s can’t be right. Every club in Europe would be after him for that price.

3.) 16 May 2025 22:34:05
That is Frimpongs supposed clause.

4.) 16 May 2025 22:55:32
I think Bond had been at the martinis again!

Easy to confuse between Frimpong and Wirtz, I guess!

5.) 17 May 2025 01:53:58
In all seriousness, is anyone able to carry out a social visit or wellness check for 007? I do worry sometimes.

6.) 17 May 2025 04:29:18
More gummies man! : )

7.) 17 May 2025 04:50:47
Florian Wirtz transfer value is anywhere between 100-150M Euro (140M Euro, 120M gbp -January per transfermarkt) . let's stop playing video games and do the research please. ynwa.

8.) 17 May 2025 07:04:19
Wirtz has no "release" clause.

9.) 17 May 2025 07:27:26
@Kaiser - nice work with Transfermarkt - I nominate you to do the research so the rest of us can have fun making stuff up.

10.) 17 May 2025 08:05:17
Isn’t a players value only what another club is willing to pay.

11.) 17 May 2025 09:44:05
Spot on @JK.

12.) 17 May 2025 12:25:11
@West, if your a troll making stuff up go back to X. Now go back to your gaming.

Richard Hughes has already made three superb signings for LFC surely, although deep down I really think that Arne wanted the following also, nevertheless ye still have to get them over the line.

The Goalkeeper Mamardashvili who cost circa £33 million, Alisson going will pay that fee plus extra pounds into the transfer kitty. The last time LFC had a goalkeeeper who could also kick with his left foot was probably the best ever LFC goalie Ray Clemence, so the omens are good.

He must have also been involved with signing Chiesa, a world class player for circa £10.5 million, his football experience is second to none.

Thirdly Rio n"GOD"moha who could well develop into a top talent, i hate to say it like Sterling possibly.

Are the above not three excellent signings as Hughes officially took the job on the 01 June 2024, and the above three were signed after him joining and Arne ( who should really take the credit for me), ye can not say he has left Bournemouth in the mire, with the quality of signings he's made there or overseen.

Rumour has it that he's found the next MANE who currently plays for the same club we signed MANE from, who was not included in the Soton team today, don't whether because of injury, Kamaldeen Sule"MANE" who was recorded as the fastest player in the World Cup in 2022,plays left wing also.

He would beat Mbappe on one leg with a ten yard start, he has already scored two goals against us in the premiership years ago, !

007

1.) 20 Jan 2025 00:33:27
You can hide behind “007” all you want but I know that’s you Richard. Get us a left back please.

2.) 20 Jan 2025 01:05:15
Where have you read the rumour about the Southampton lad, looks absolutely ballistic. Gave Yoro for United a torrid time.

3.) 20 Jan 2025 05:29:09
Slot was the right man

Chiesa has played a few minutes, let's see how he fits into the squad going forward

Vili had upside but has never played in the EPL so will take time to adapt. He had good upside but will also need good coaching and work on his distribution.

Mr Hughes as A LOT of work to do.

4.) 20 Jan 2025 05:43:10
Sulamane has scored 1 goal this season and hardly played for Southampton.

5.) 20 Jan 2025 06:32:31
You are fooling no one by changing your name Richard Hughes ?.

6.) 20 Jan 2025 07:48:10
Mamardashvili -Kicking? Are you sure about that? Check ED002 comments aboutthis very topic.

I do like a nice positive post, however.

7.) 20 Jan 2025 08:43:39
Kelleher can kick off both feet as well as anyone. Still think singing a keeper was a waste of time and focus.

8.) 20 Jan 2025 09:37:12
They are not three superb signings yet though.

9.) 20 Jan 2025 10:53:22
Sulameen could be a belter signing but one of them under the radar jobs he came with a big rep, I remember the last day of the season when Southampton were relegated and we drew I think 3 - 3 at St marys he was ripping us a new one like yoro tasted.

10.) 20 Jan 2025 12:35:30
No way people are suggesting we should sign a forward with two goals in three years (with one of those years being in the championship). I’ve not just read that right, surely.

11.) 20 Jan 2025 18:36:58
Alisson going aye. Has a few tepid games and he’s suddenly surplus. Nonsense… still the best keeper around for me. Hughes is a negligent fool and out of his depth.

12.) 20 Jan 2025 21:09:01
"FRIED" Kippers, It is Arne who has decided Becker is surplus to requirements, as if he was happy with Becker he would not have replaced him would he. Hughes takes his orders from Arne not the other way round.

{Ed001's Note - bollox. Slot wanted him so much he was sent out on loan? Nonsense.}

Simple Simon gone to Bruges for £6 Million. Radio Merseyside reports a mass brawl between City and Red fans at Portland Street Underground an hour before the game numerous arrests made. It is by Regents Park soon to be renamed "Regents NARK"?

007

1.) 05 Aug 2019 09:49:03
Seen the clip. Harmless 5 or 6 from both sides being idiots.

04 Jun 2019 18:31:49
Ed025, As you are Eco Friendly?, i have to inform you, No "JAG" for next season!

Jovic has gone to Real Madrid for 52 million Euro.

007

{Ed025's Note - yeah its a shame 007, hes been a great servant to the club and i wish him all the best for the future mate..

09 May 2019 22:06:00
Apparently Jurgen has the 'Hots' for Ajax winger, David Neres not HOTSPUR (Tottenham)!

The Year of the Birds:

Top Spot the Liver Bird as usual!
Thankfully the Eagles
The Lucky Magpies
The Spurs Bird a Big Fat Cockerel
Evertons Toffee Lady the "UGLY" Bird
Man City should be doing "BIRD"
Arteta, Guardiolas "STOOL PIGEON"
Bottom place as always Manure the "DO-Do"s.

007

1.) 22 May 2025 11:39:59
Especially the STOOL PIDGEON.

21 May 2025 22:02:11

18 May 2025 19:43:38
Hello Eds and fellow Posters, If ye think it's busy now, it's about to get even busier the fixtures for the new Premier League season are out one month today 18 June 2025.

Going to see what odds I can get on Evertons first home game at Bramley Moore (H&D) will be to welcome the Premier League Winners 2025 (and hopefully Charity Shield Winners as well) .

No better way to baptise EFCs first premier league game at home, than to welcome the "Champions"!

007

1.) 18 May 2025 21:27:09
Only happened once before in 1984 so might be worth saving your money.

2.) 18 May 2025 23:11:53
richard hughes to hijack bournemouths target to replace huijsen another left footed centre back nathan zeze plays for nantes 20 this june, modest fee expected.

Avit-it-oh-No! anything can happen in football, and invariably does, Football is a funny old game!

17 May 2025 18:42:40
It is with great pleasure that next season's Charity Shield will be contested by Liverpool Premier League Winners and FA Cup Winners Crystal Palace.

The Wooden Spoon Final will be contested as usual between the two Manchester Clubs.

Could be even worse for Arteta not even the best team in London now, and if Spurs and Chelsea win their coming finals, there will be three open top bus tours of London, and Arsenal "the best team in Europe" Ha, Ha! not even among them.

007

1.) 17 May 2025 18:51:06
Got some really good hardworking players Crystal Palace. Decent manager too. Deserved.

2.) 17 May 2025 19:27:58
Great stuff. Congrats to Glasner, his staff and the players. Looking forward to the CS, for sure and for once, City won't be in it.

3.) 17 May 2025 20:14:04
How does a Liverpool supporter turn Crystal Palace winning the FA cup into something about Arsenal? Weird behaviour.

4.) 17 May 2025 20:51:36
You have to be really worried about Arsenal to do it.

16 May 2025 17:54:53
New Premier League Rule introduced today:

Only the Team Captains will be able to argue a decision with the Referee in the 2025-2026 season.

Don't get this Wirtz frenzy at all, he has played nearly two full seasons for Xabi Alonso at Bayer Leverkusen, so if he is the truly World Class talent that posters are suggesting then surely Xabi will want him all for his own at RM, even though he won't be for nothing!

Totally agree with Frimpong, as i have heard he is also a very good ping pong player!

007

1.) 16 May 2025 18:10:46
I swear they introduce the 'only the captain can talk to the referee about decisions' at the start of every season, only to drop it within a few weeks. Apparently it has to do with sponsors, which force the rule to be dropped, but I can't remember the exact details. It seems common sense that only the captain can talk to the referee about these things, tired of seeing players huddle around the referee like babies fighting over who is allowed to play with their favourite power ranger.

Hopefully the rule lasts more than a week, this time.

2.) 16 May 2025 19:05:38
Happens every season lately it seems and is enforced about as consistently as kicking the ball away and delaying the start of the game. More rules to be broken and enforced randomly by incompetent referees and decision makers.

3.) 16 May 2025 19:25:29
I hope refs enforce this rule. Game is disgusting with lads mouthing off to refs. No respect at all and does no good for kids to see it.

4.) 16 May 2025 20:41:45
Real Madrid cannot afford to pay a fee for wirtz and a salary, on top of which Real Madrid do not need him.

5.) 16 May 2025 21:35:55
Wait, has this rule not been in place for the past 3/ 4 years already?

6.) 16 May 2025 21:51:00
That rule has always been in place.

As for wirtz xabi has enough on his hands keeping mbappe, vino, rodrygo and endryck happy at Madrid I don't see how adding yet another forward/ winger is going to help him when they're all crying about not being allowed to play LW.

To be honest the ref respect thing is on the refs. Start issuing an immediate yellow card for arguing and it will very quickly stop.

In 2001 when we played Roma and the ref changed his mind from corner to pen the Roma players went mad and the ref just started throwing yellow cards around and everyone quickly ran away.

7.) 16 May 2025 22:06:36
It’s a stupid rule. No player should be able to argue with the referee.
The refs need to be firm and enforce the rules.

I’ll always maintain there should be a sin bin for dissent and simulation.
Doesn’t spoil the game but can affect the result.

8.) 17 May 2025 05:10:08
E glish referees are the least imposing referees in Europe, they are too polite and let people walk all over them.

9.) 17 May 2025 07:58:31
This season in amateur and grass roots football they introduced a blue card where you would have a 10 min sin bin for dissent.

From when I’ve seen it used it actually worked really well.

Hello dominic Scrabble,

What's your opinion on "HUGE" Etikite, bears a remarkable resemblance to a young Ian Rush.

Funnily enough he couldn't stop scoring after Sir Bob Paisley said to him to build his initial shy confidence " if your in the Peanalty Area and don't know what to do with the Ball, Just stick it into the back of the net, and we'll discuss your options after the game.

Alonso wants Wirtz! Well Xabi does have an extra circa 50 mill to spend with getting Arnold on a freebie, whereas we have circa 50 mill less.

No one knows Wirtz's capabilities better than Xabi who has had Wirtz, under his wings for two years, must be a top, top player, and Xabi also does his old club Bayer a favour by removing him from the Bundesliga, which Arne can also most readily accommodate.

One has to hope that slime ball Guardiola withdrew because he didn't want another Liverpool victory against him this season, you have to think the odds look good with Guardiola snaking back under his stone.

P. S. Two other Birds for the Season! Arteta "TIT" and Moyes a "BLUE TIT"

My-Oh-My,

As this is a banter site, I would say man city0-LFC2 on the 23rd of February was the turning point, beating the ex premier league champions, who had just won four premiers on the trot.

Spurs 1-0 half time, they say the best time to score a goal is just before half time, let's all hope that's a turning point!

Why would Leverkusen sell to a rival, plus anyway believe Wirtz strongly prefers Arne's Bald head to Vincent's and Guardiola.

Hello, Leekyuankew,

Fully agree just needs a Slot polishing up, the next Ian Rush for me also.

Rush could score with his eyes closed, think that's the problem with Nunez.

He has also had his best centre back pairing Romero and Van De Ven missing for half the premier season.

Romero 18 prem games, VDV 12 prem games 30 prem games total, compare that to VVD 36 prem and Konate 30 prem, 66 prem games total.

I wish we had also parked the bus and beaten the Magpies, as the records show the winners not how you played.
