007

09 May 2019 22:06:00
Apparently Jurgen has the 'Hots' for Ajax winger, David Neres not HOTSPUR (Tottenham)!

Michael Oliver is the referee for Man Utd game, we haven't lost when he has been the referee in our games this season? So that's a Good Omen. He was the ref against Arsenal of course, there was 5 bookings in the game four for us!

First Team News of the Season Boys/ Girls for friendly with Tranmere Rovers (away) kick-off 7.30P. M. Live on LFC Channel

Mignolet, clyne, philips, gomez, larouci, milner, lallana, oxlade-chamberlin, wilson, brewster, kent.

007

1.) 11 Jul 2019 19:58:19
Larouci looks very promising.

2.) 11 Jul 2019 20:21:41
Brewster is a hungry goal machine in the making, no fear just wants too score goals, he is filling out also, very happy with him early days but I like wat I see, like a young ian wright.

3.) 11 Jul 2019 20:27:30
3-0 Half Time Clyne scored first top corner shot from 18 yards, Brewster who has grown and put on "Beef" has scored the other two, both poachers goals and as hailstones above has posted Larouci best player for the reds. (no wonder Moreno went)

Thought the Referee was supposed to be neutral it is Mike Deane whose favourite team is the Rovers? Big Crowd there, new kit looks nice.

LFC TV have not yet posted team for second half. Fabhino has been warming up thought he was with Brazil in Confederations Cup?

4.) 11 Jul 2019 20:34:43
LFC TV have just posted team for second half as follows.

JAROS in Goal, hoever, matip, johnston, lewis, fabhino, woodburn, jones, glatzel, duncan, Origi. I believe the most popular name for a boy according to Liverpool Maternity Hospital this summer so far is DIVOCK?

Second Half Underway.

5.) 11 Jul 2019 20:48:03
If these youngsters perform like this consistently against better opposition then we don't need too buy anyone .

{Ed025's Note - hello....its tranmere..

6.) 11 Jul 2019 20:13:10
Cheers double O7. Keep us updated please pal.

7.) 11 Jul 2019 20:57:42
I know ed, tranmere are shxte, but if they perform as well against better teams we will face it is very encouraging .

{Ed025's Note - pre-season friendlies dont count for much one way or the other hailstones, but playing alongside senior players can certainly do no harm mate..

8.) 11 Jul 2019 21:22:23
Best player in the first half was Larouci or Brewster. Best in the second was Hoever or Woodburn. We need full back cover, an attacking midfielder and a versatile attacker right? 🤔.

9.) 11 Jul 2019 21:24:51
I am thinking if Adam lewis, larouci can hack it, also Jan hoever that's lots of cover for full back options also think woodburn finally looked like a proper midfielder his use of the ball an energy was good tonight an he looks too have filled out a bit, I ain't getting carried away very early days .

10.) 11 Jul 2019 21:29:27
It was a good run out for the lads. Of course just a pre season friendly (and the first pre season friendly) so we shouldn’t really rate performances: but I’ll do it anyway since we are so short of any match or transfer action :)
1. Good run out for Rhian, can only do his confidence a world of good after the injury
2. Larouci looked like a new Moreno - very good and comfortable going forward, suspect at the back
3. Curtis Jones and Woodburn showing good vision, need to wait and see if either of them can step on. Really hope Woodburn can recover from last season - he kept trying the same ball again and again today
4. Pity about Glatzels injury. Thought he was much more influential than Bobby Duncan while he was on
5. Wilson’s quality of passing was apparent but Ryan Kent showed why he had such a good season in Scotland with a great work rate
6. The other centre half for 2nd half (not Matip) looked well out of his depth
7. Good to see Origi, Lallana and Ox all getting minutes early in pre season. Will help us with options as the season kicks on
8. Hoever was an absolute beast. People are talking about Rhian beefing up but I felt Howver looked much bigger, faster and efficient than what I remembered of him from last season. Didn’t see him cross much but the rest of his game play from right back was inspiring.

11.) 11 Jul 2019 21:31:47
6-0 Final Score, scorers second half jones, divock and duncan, divock was captain for second half and scored best goal of the game from a long ball from matip.

Only concern Glatzel went off 15 mins from end as a precaution with a knock to his knee, and because we never had any more outfield subs to replace glatzel the third goalie atherton had to play centre forward for last 15 mins.

On to Bradford now Sunday Afternoon for next friendly fixture.

P. S. Please Stop Goading Ed025 he does not deserve it, he always gives a balanced point of view, after all this is a banter site not bash the Eds Site.

{Ed025's Note - thanks 007 ...but im a big boy and can look after myself mate, its all friendly banter and no different to what happens when i go out with my red mates, yes im out of the closet...some of my friends are reds...i thought i would admit to chicken molestation before i admitted that.. :)

12.) 11 Jul 2019 21:36:24
A lot of talk a few months back about Lewis coming in for Moreno but he doesn’t look anywhere near ready to me.

13.) 11 Jul 2019 21:46:38
That's how to play pre season against lower class opposition. Beat them 6-0.
It breeds a feel good factor for the games to come.
Drawing 1-1 against Kariobangi Sharks would not be acceptable.

{Ed025's Note - we actually got beat on pens langland, but pre season means nothing mate and is more about fitness and team building than the actual result..

14.) 11 Jul 2019 22:01:52
The "Klopp-Father" has just come out with the Quip of the Season, He said "we looked at the tranmere lads when they were warming up, and if it had been a boxing contest it would of been a walkover for tranmere".

A new banner on view tonight "the futures bright, the futures Brewster".

P. S. The pump house on the albert dock has put his prices up, its now £3.79 for breakfast. Fish and Chips now £11.99 and big fish and chips £13.99, and the C--- has put me pint of Guinness up to £3.70, still worth going in though the barmaids have the X-Factor, was talking to an aussie named Pete from Melbourne in there on Monday who was 48 and it was always on his bucket list to visit Anfield and happily he fulfilled that wish, though the downside for him was that he had visited England to watch the aussie cricket team play england at cricket and sadly they got beat today! And for anyone named Peter he had his picture taken over the street named "Peter Street" which is in liverpool city centre just after victoria street.

15.) 11 Jul 2019 22:04:43
Ed025 is right pre season is all about fitness and not about results so never read to much into them. As I recall Liverpool has a unbelievable pre season under Souness enough said. Ed025 is well and truly able to take it and very well able to dish it out.

{Ed025's Note - very true on all counts barry mate..

16.) 11 Jul 2019 22:05:44
It's good to see the youngsters taking part in preseason.

17.) 11 Jul 2019 22:19:39
I can recall Sir Bob Paisley not winning ONE pre-season game one year and that season culminated in his Third and last European Cup Final Win, he always said what Ed025 posts above its all about fitness not results in pre season.

{Ed025's Note - your spot on mate..

18.) 11 Jul 2019 22:46:42
Agree about Nasser Larouci. he gave a mature, composed performance tonight. Good awareness and plenty of speed.
Definitely one to watch.

19.) 12 Jul 2019 00:02:41
Wow hahaha.

20.) 12 Jul 2019 00:05:19
Ffs it’s just one pre season game and people are jumping to conclusions 🙈 if Klopp makes a decision to keep or sell a player on tonight’s performance then he should be sacked lol
Didn’t Everton win a game by 30 goals last year if I remember correctly in pre season 🤔.

21.) 12 Jul 2019 00:32:30
Its the first time the boys have run out since madrid. Of course we are going to debate it. Of course its only a friendly, against poor opposition, but you'd have to be blind to not be excited by young brewster. Looks a much better player than solanke. Took his chances really well. he's bigger than he was when england won the wc u18s. Still, solanke acored more in pre season than he did all season so.

We look to have some real talent coming through. And with a really strong first team the future does seem promising.

I was surprised at how our youngsters lookwd physically. Players like brewster and Woodburn have really come on.

22.) 12 Jul 2019 08:08:31
Sorry have to disagree when people say it's just a friendly etc. For players such as Fabinho and Milner, yes it's just about getting their fitness levels up, but for players such as Lewis, Woodburn and Wilson it's far more important for both themselves and Klopp. This is their big chance to force their way into consideration for the forthcoming season and for Klopp he can give him more of an idea if he needs to dip his toes into the transfer market or not. For these players, preseason performance is very important.

And the game has somewhat changed since Paisley's day, it's much more a squad game now. Making sure you have the right squad players is vital.

23.) 12 Jul 2019 08:28:31
Honestly I'd never seen larouci before but he is not a full back.

If he played at full back in any first team game he would straight away be targeted.

Zero positional sense and tracked the ball randomly in to midfield leaving huge gaps down the left.

Obviously not exposed against Tranmere and he can learn these skills. Does have great willingness to get forward though and looks much more set up to be a winger rather than fullback.

24.) 12 Jul 2019 10:29:34
threeps - yeah important for the kids. but for Klopp and co they won't be carried away unless something outstanding happens as well as in the training paddock. the kids need to play so chances are they playing for loans moves really.

25.) 13 Jul 2019 06:45:04
Let's be realistic here about the young lads. Laroucci looks lively, he was only used for u18 though and his first season played at LB. A season of consistency at u23 would be his next expectation if Lewis is loaned or possibly used as LB cover.

Jones and Woodburn are so far down the pecking order in their positions, u23 or loans.

What pleased me most was the clear difference in Hoevers physique, looked imposing, Brewster too didn't look like a boy anymore. Duncan and glatzel need at least another year. Kent and Wilson at 22/ 23 best to move on.

11 Jul 2019 08:54:50
This should get Ed025 "hopping mad" tonight is our "Biggest DERBY Match" of the Season against our biggest rivals? Also called the Merseyside Derby?

P. S. Only pulling ye leg Ed! Put ye Baseball Bat away?

007

{Ed025's Note - origi and henderson should feel right at home against that sort of opposition 007.. :)

1.) 11 Jul 2019 16:27:48
Hendo and Origi right up there with your CL winning captain and scorer you mean Ed25? Oh, wait a minute. 😃.

{Ed025's Note - when we were the best team in europe in the 80,s we were banned from playing in it 1jj...and why were we banned?...oh wait a minute.. :)

2.) 11 Jul 2019 16:47:32
Tbf Ed025 both players are more use to strutting around at the he Alienz, Nou Camp and other top tier European venues around the world lol.

{Ed025's Note - strutting being the operative word virgil mate..

3.) 11 Jul 2019 19:04:57
Who do i support tonight? Liverpool fan and tranmere fan as i live down the road.

4.) 11 Jul 2019 18:55:42
Ed25 when is the parade for Everton’s first cup final goal and win in 24 years the other day.

{Ed025's Note - its the day after liverpool,s premier league title winning parade i believe squizza.. :)

5.) 11 Jul 2019 20:30:06
Hey Ed25, you sure do a lot of smack talking for someone who has continued to be on the receiving end of Origi's immense talent as a goalscorer and the Bitters'Tormentor-In-Chief. No matter, tho. I admire your ability to stil be in denial of what is in front of you. I guess that makes ou sleep better at night, lol.

Now, let's do facts. Origi just signed a new long term deal and Hendo is an LFC legend as a CL winning captain. Read it and weep!
Oh and btw, get used to Origi ruining your Derby days for a few more years to come cos he is now here to stay. See ya, bro BUT wouldn't want to be ya!

{Ed025's Note - i have opinions on players redwolf as is my want, be them reds, blues or tangerine of blackpool i either rate a player or i dont, if you want me to say origi is great or hendo is a top midfielder then you may be waiting quite a while mate.... opinionated...very much so...a liar...never..

6.) 11 Jul 2019 22:07:47
Best team in Europe 25? News to me mate 🙄.

{Ed025's Note - we were you know drogie, when we won the title in 87 we were an excellent side and i believe if we had the chance to compete in the european cup then we would have had a good chance to win it mate, unfortunately english teams were banned after heysel so we will never know, but its nice to dream..

7.) 11 Jul 2019 22:43:23
You were an excellent side mate but as history states, the best team in Europe doesn’t always win so whilst being banned Disney help, there were no guarantees.

What happened in Heysel was just horrendous, I had friends in the crowd that fateful night, there’s certainly two sides to that debate, probably best not discussed on here to be fair mate.

Football hooliganism was rife in the 80’s as you know, Liverpool fans certainly weren’t the worst, I have two cousins that were, shall we say, high up in the ICF with West Ham and you wouldn’t believe some of the things they got up to.

I also have mates that were in involved in the battle of Everton valley, a bloodbath when United came to town, with Liverpool and Everton fans joining forces.

People tend to forget or are completely oblivious to the fact that Liverpool were not the only team that had a firm chasing havoc on the terraces mate.

{Ed025's Note - i could not agree more drogie mate..

8.) 11 Jul 2019 23:43:59
Heard a rumour that, none of the Everton players have a passport as they don't need one. Any truth in it? wink wink.

9.) 11 Jul 2019 23:50:26
You were lucky you were banned in the 80s Ed we saved you from a whole lot of embarrassment.
Look what happened the next time you got to Europe’s top competition, couldn’t even get through the qualifiers!
Then got spanked by Dynamo Bucharest wasn’t it in the UEFA? 5-1 or something?
You Blues should just know your place. Which is definitely not in any type of European competition. Or any final of any competition come to that.

10.) 11 Jul 2019 23:59:04
Oh dear, not the "we WOULD of won it" shout AGAIN, is that why yers hate it so much?

11.) 12 Jul 2019 00:00:18
We were banned because the ground chosen to host a European final wasn't fit it safe enough to host a 5 a side kick about. Plus the Italian fans tried to kick it off with us and couldn't handle the situation when we reacted. Then the lack of safety in the ground took its toll.

12.) 11 Jul 2019 23:38:52
Correct, Drogie.
UEFA had blood on their hands and it's not a subject for cheap point scoring between fans.

13.) 12 Jul 2019 10:31:47
Origi doing what he does best - scoring derby day goals!

The Three Royal Navy Ships "Puncher", "Example" and "Exemplary" departed the Albert Dock Today having arrived on Monday, but not before i gave them a History lesson in Scouse?

I was talking to the all girl crew of the "Puncher" and there jaws dropped when i said to them "i had all of you last night" with me tea!, they must of thought 007 was making sexual undertones and replied "HOW" so i gave them this clue? I had Roast Beef, Roast Potatoes, Yorkshire Pudding and Topped it off with the "Royal Navy". The penny still never dropped so had to tell them up here "Royal Navy" means "GRAVY" "pass the Royal Navy will you"! incidentally its served in a Boat!

I then became embroiled in a friendly slanging match with the Crew of the other ship who were Cockneys, Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal Fans who would not fly an LFC Flag on Monday, so i gave them this Broadside just before they left, 007 said to them you are the "URINE Boys" they all glared at 007 and replied "dont know what you mean by that", so had to "SPELL" it out to them? as the 3 Royal Navy ships names were "Puncher", "Example" and "Exemplary", if you take the First Letter from the above 3 ships names it spells "PEE" so you are in fact the "P-SS" Boys" they had no answer to that, So 1-0 to the Reds was the Final Score as they departed. They must think Scousers are thick up here far from it?

P. S. The Hilton Hotel on the Strand where the "Euro Cup Parade" passed still has two LFC Flags flying!

Bond. You have a truly unique way of getting your daily thrills. That's all I have to say. 😵.

2.) 19 Jun 2019 16:59:22

3.) 19 Jun 2019 20:55:56
What a great addition to the site you are Bond. Nobody does it better 😁.

4.) 19 Jun 2019 21:30:50
Thanks pompeyred, your poster name means you come from another great sea port Portsmouth. 007 has always liked a sailor!

As they say "all the nice boys like a sailor",
"all the nice boys like a ---k"

Cant finish it off the Eds Police won't post it too Bawdy?
Bawdy=Dealing with sexual matters in a comical way; humorously indecent.
That is why i always like to post about the Albert Dock because we have supporters from all over the world, and they should not just visit Anfield but also the City Centre as well. The LFC Anfield open top bus does daily visits every day of the week to Anfield and it starts in the Albert Dock at 10.00 a. m. and is on the hour i. e. 11,noon, etc till last one at 3.00 p. m. and costs £8 per person. And if they go in the Pump House on the Albert Dock they also get the chance of having a selfie with 007!

5.) 19 Jun 2019 22:14:19
bravo 007. Showing those navy boys a thing or two 😂😂😂 this para would be honored to share a decent pint with a character like you 😂😂😂.

6.) 19 Jun 2019 22:37:38
Burkeyboy doesn't like it when people talk about themselves in the third person.

7.) 20 Jun 2019 07:41:16
LikeAVirgil avoids third person dialogue at all costs.

18 Jun 2019 08:17:03
Tickets are available today for Euro Super Cup versus Chelsea in Istanbul from 1.00 P. M. Allocation is 15,000, don't know how you qualify for them though?

YNWA.

1.) 18 Jun 2019 15:23:08
007. you need to be friends with platini.

17 Jun 2019 21:22:24
In the Pump House on the Albert Dock today having a "Liquid Lunch", when low and behold 3 Royal Navy Training vessels sailed in P164 the "Explorer", P165 the "Example", P291 the "Puncher". Having had recent successes with Tall Ships flying our LFC Flags for the Madrid Final, i now keep a spare LFC flag in my Backpack so i rushed out and engaged in dialogue with the crews of the vessels, but alas the "Explorer" were all Rugby Union Fans, the "EXAMPLE"" was Cockneys mainly Spurs Fans so they not keen to Fly the Flag especially after i said to them " anyway we made an EXAMPLE" of ye in Madrid! . The "Puncher" was an all "Girl Crew" and "Hip Hip Hooray" they now have an LFC Flag on the Stern after intense negotiation, although part of the deal seen me going to Home Bargain for Midget Gems (x8) and Wine Gums (x8) and a case of Fosters (18 Cans) which i said to them after consuming those you will be "Punching" everyone? Will call in on them Tomorrow if there Sober!

007

1.) 17 Jun 2019 22:06:18
Your posts are quite entertaining 007. 😂.

2.) 17 Jun 2019 22:22:32
Thank You Para-red, i am just trying to fly the "Flag" for LFC like yourself. I "BERET" you have not heard that one?

3.) 18 Jun 2019 03:47:50
I’m not even kidding. Is this better understood if you’re Scouse? Because I want to laugh at 007 but I have a hard time following it lol.

4.) 18 Jun 2019 06:34:49
Haha keep flying the flag 007.

5.) 18 Jun 2019 10:28:00
Didn’t get any of it!

6.) 18 Jun 2019 17:25:59
Can someone kindly translate? 😵.

{Ed001's Note - I don't know as I got lost at the mention of Wine Gums and Midget Gems, I haven't seen either in years and they are my favourite sweets!}

My Cousin who was on the podium and on the team bus victory parade following Madrid (his mother and my mother are sisters) , told me last week that the "KloppFather" is very concerned with reference to Hoever, who made a Fantastic Debut against Wolves he has absolutely gone down hill the reason being Attitude i. e. "Big Head" thinks he has made the grade on one appearance.

P. S. My Cousin maintains "ABSOLUTE" confidentiality while the Premier League is in Duration and i completely "RESPECT" that Decision, as it could gravely harm the clubs progress and his employment status. I did not even ask him could he get me a ticket for Madrid (or any game i have a season ticket for the Kop behind the Goal) out of respect for fellow LFC Fans. The reason for breaking the above confidentiality is its pre-season or should that be silly rumour season and he is only an Academy player by definition, if he had of been Mainstream i would not of disclosed his conversation.

P. S. 007 "ALWAYS SITS ON IT"! no vulgarity boys/ girls?

Sam Allardyce is at the moment on Sly Monday Night Football.

He has just shown " The Allardyce Survival Blueprint " which he uses at every possible relegation club he takes over, its the following

1= Clean Sheets
2= don't lose possession in own half
3= play the first pass forward
4= win knock downs and transitions
5= set pieces
6= exploit the oppositions weaknesses
7= quality in the final third

He is the " master of survival " whatever you say about him, he has got out of more " HOLES " than TIGER WOODS?

Had a word with John Aldo in ALDI this morning circa 10.A. M, Absolutely loves Jurgen Klopp says he is "very canny" ( fancy saying CANNY in ALDI? OR was it a secret code with regard to Emre CAN ) says he rates Jurgen in same class as Dalglish and Paisley only needs Trophies to Crack on.

Went past Coutinhio house orange venetian blinds still fully closed!
