Liverpool looking at Ko Itakura as a possible center back addition. Apparently the club has been hevily couting the japanese international.
Anything on this Ed02.

Habibi

{Ed002's Note - Ko Itakura (CB) The ex-Manchester City player was on the Kim replacement list for Napoli. Crystal Palace, Liverpool and Spurs have sent scouts - and his agent has very strong ties to Spurs. Al Nassr will offer a solution but a move in January seems unlikely due to injury.

Note that he has not played for some months.}

Thanks mate. much appreciated.

????????: Tomorrow it will be decided that UEFA does NOT have a monopoly on organising football competitions by the European Court of Justice.

This means that after tomorrow, the Super League can be LEGALLY created.

UEFA know tomorrow's decision on the Super League will NOT be in their favour, that's why Nasser Al-Khelaifi and the ECA are trying to get clubs to sign that they will remain part of UEFA competitions even after the Super League ruling.

ECoJ findings just officially confirmed. things could get very interesting *gets popcorn.

2.) 21 Dec 2023 09:58:27
The end of football as we know it.

3.) 21 Dec 2023 16:39:37
I pray it doesn’t because I for one want absolutely no part of it.

4.) 21 Dec 2023 16:47:30
IT was the end of football as we know it when the premier league was formed in my opinion. I do not like the way football has gone since the enjoyment of a sporting contest was taken away by greed . Now a super league god help the championship leagues i can see a lot of them go to the wall.

5.) 21 Dec 2023 20:57:40
Well it's the perpetual cycle of more and more revenue for the owners. They forecasted this to happen in the late 80s and I hated the idea then. Hate it more now that it's here. It's unfortunately like everything else now all money driven. Just get out of it what enjoyment we can while we still can.

6.) 23 Dec 2023 23:45:50
Besides all the chat, I think it is a good thing that one governing body isn’t legallly alllowed to prevent competition.

Liverpool looking at Maxence Lacroix as apossible Matip replacement. The rapid 23 year could also play at Right back and has just 18 months remaining on his contract., Reported fee at £30 mill thereabouts.

Would be a great signing but i hope quansah is trusted, there is plenty of young centre backs being trusted e. g colwill, branthwaite, saliba, etc unfortunate as matips injury is its a perfect time for quansah to gain valuable prem experience.

2.) 08 Dec 2023 13:39:08
Until the lunchtime press conference that is! Nothing to see here.

3.) 08 Dec 2023 11:09:47
Any substance in this Ed?

{Ed002's Note - I will see if I can find out.}

4.) 08 Dec 2023 20:06:52
Of course there's substance. Harry posted it, lol.

5.) 08 Dec 2023 20:12:03
We should just make Qansah’s loan deal permanent.

6.) 09 Dec 2023 20:18:34
I hear the lad was in Blackpool last weekend.

7.) 11 Dec 2023 10:15:13
They didn't have much choice than to trust Colwill. We've willingly blooded Quansah. he started over natural backups in Gomez and Ibou.

Just following up to see if you got any updates ed?

Hello Ed02, if you got a few seconds. Do you think it is attainable to sign Rafael Leo when Salah moves?
Watched him on a number of occasions and he is genuinely world class. Touch. Technique, pace and brutal strength. The boy is a complete package.

Habibi

{Ed002's Note - No. He plays in a different position and Liverpool have never had any interest in him.}

1.) 20 Sep 2023 08:57:03
He plays left wing cutting inside and shooting with his right.

Playing him on the right hand side where Salah plays wouldn’t work out.

In the same way that playing Salah on the left wing would take away all of his threat and what makes him world class.

2.) 20 Sep 2023 10:24:36
Thanks mate.

3.) 20 Sep 2023 22:14:14
Hi Eds et al

Read some articles linking Takefusa Kubo as a possible Salah replacement. He has certainly started the season well. Left footed, versatile and good experience for a 22 year old.

Do you know if Liverpool has shown any interest and do you think he would be a good fit?

Appreciate any feedback and opinion.

{Ed002's Note - Takefusa Kubo (RW/LW) Move has worked out well for him. Real Madrid may look to invoke their buy-back option which is about hald his buy out clause. This season is going well for him and I doubt he would want to return to RM. Liverpool has shown no interest.}

4.) 21 Sep 2023 10:28:26
Thanks Mr Ed002!

24 Aug 2023 09:23:50
Hello Ed02,

Are we looking at Mats Weiffer who plays for Feyenoord?

Habibi

{Ed002's Note - No, Liverpool have signed Endo.}

1.) 24 Aug 2023 10:13:31
Thanks mate.

2.) 24 Aug 2023 10:50:15
Morning Ed. I’m not disputing your reply by any means, but I’m just wondering why Liverpool wouldn’t be pursuing a second DM when other top clubs have two in this position? Caceido and Lavia, Rodri and Nunes and Philips, Rice and Partey, etc.?

Thanks for all your knowledge, it is appreciated.

{Ed002's Note - Because Liverpool have other priorities, such as the versatile Gravenberch. As an aside Jajcetic is about the same age as Lavia. I have also explained about Andre Trincade possibly being an option for January.}

3.) 24 Aug 2023 12:23:24
My preference is get a LCB in now and wait until January for Andre with Endo possibly missing up to a month on Asian cup duties.

4.) 24 Aug 2023 15:26:47
Indeed, BILLYSHANKLEYNWA.

5.) 24 Aug 2023 18:48:39
I think it’s the Endo of a DM unless. R g comes in think we will go for another saint’s player.

6.) 24 Aug 2023 19:14:34
I thought Andre was more of a Thiago type player than a CDM? I have honestly never watched him play, just going on a few podcasts I have listened to. Has anyone seen him play (other than YouTube clips)? If so, what type of player do you think he is?

7.) 24 Aug 2023 19:43:34
I prefer Pink Weiffer, a far more tasty proposition.

8.) 24 Aug 2023 20:47:37
Or a Weiffer thin mint?

That is because he isn’t a DM in the first place @Davey. He is another ball carrier. Kone is an out and out DM. We should juts stick to a holding mid and not another who can do all.

Fair enough mate, I too like him. On his day he is brutally good. But those days are far and few now. Which is a worry.
