ED2 there is a news that Real Madrid has approached Salah for transfer this summer. any truth in the story?

praveenlfc

{Ed002's Note - I have explained the situation over and over again - they would certainly not need to make any approach to him.}

1.) 17 May 2019 10:58:28
i think you are getting confused with real madrid approaching salah and salah heading to madrid next month.

2.) 17 May 2019 13:13:38
Salah do do do do do do, oh money money do do do do do do.
I’m well and truly over these Salah stories. He’s a great player, he’s currently a Liverpool player and he’s going to poke in the winner against spurs. The end.

Ed2.is there genuine interest in A. Raboit. any suggestion where he will end up.

praveenlfc

{Ed002's Note - He has plenty of options but I am not aware of any proposal being made by Liverpool at this time.}

1.) 14 Feb 2019 08:52:34
I think, dependant on wage demands, I’d be surprised that we aren’t keeping some interest i the player. Young talented and lots of experience!

Although recent free transfer wages put me off the idea!

2.) 14 Feb 2019 10:08:10
High wages and very similar to the Midfield options we already have in Gine Fabs Keita Ox Hendo Milner etc, we are stacked in that area of the field.

First of all congrats to the team. good season.
My question to ED. reason Buvac left was difference of opinion with Jurgen on tactics for this season. seems like Jurgen was right. your opinion ED.

praveenlfc

{Ed001's Note - impossible to say but it certainly hasn't held the team back.}

1.) 13 May 2019 07:20:23
Who knows

Perhaps Buvac was saying it’s impossible to play that way for a whole season without hitting a dip as the players tire

December we won every game we played

No mid-winter break like in Germany and January/ February we dipped (only slightly-but enough)

2.) 13 May 2019 08:01:18
No Agger, apparently buvac was saying the opposite and didn’t like the input from sports scientists. We’re clearly a fitter team without him but may possibly have lost a yard or two tactically or subs wise. All in all though I think it was for the best.

3.) 13 May 2019 09:07:09
It was more than a slight dip Agger. A loss to City and then 4 draws in 6 games.

4.) 13 May 2019 09:26:12
City’s dip was 3 defeats in 4. I’d say that was a much more significant dip than ours Mark. Ours was a slight drop in performance and was largely due to injuries (Hendo played right back against Leicester! )
All in all this team has been ridiculously consistent and nigh on impossible to beat.
We should all be very proud.

5.) 13 May 2019 09:53:17
City's dip was never mentioned Becker the post said we had a slight dip. You can dress it up how you want but 11 points dropped in 8 games is not a slight dip.

Hendo played at rb v Leicester at home, this was an 8 game slump or 10 games if you count the cups not one game v Leicester. Am sure Delph played lb or even Laporte played lb agains't us. When you lose it is always best to try to analyse where it went wrong and it was clearly in this period. It is now all about improving so we can go one better next season. Our injuries contributed to our loss of form but so did Citys midfield injuries contribute to their defeats.

Ed2.what is your view on Dortmund manager. how good is he as a manager. just a question.

praveenlfc

{Ed002's Note - nice guy but miserable. Great CIA h.}

Ed01.what is your opinion on our youngsters Gomez, Trent, Robertson. do u see them developing into class players. I particularly feel Robertson is quite mature and can develop into leader (particularly reading his mature comments on PSG games)

praveenlfc

{Ed001's Note - Robbo is 24, he is past the age where he counts as a young player for young player awards so I don't think we should be talking about him in that way any more.

Gomez is getting better but still making a few basic errors.

Trent is a bit wasted at full-back imo.}

1.) 17 Sep 2018 07:29:05
Hi ed, DO you think Trent will get a chance in midfield in may be cup games or against Belgrade in CL?
It has been said he is seen as a midfielder in the future But he has been largely effective at RB too. With Klopp who really does not touch the first team much at all I personally don't think he will get chances to show his graft and skill in the midfield.

{Ed001's Note - he had a few chances in midfield last season, I expect there will be more to come when injuries, suspension, fitness and form start to affect team line ups later in the season.

And it was me who said that he is seen as a future midfielder, as that is what he is seen as. Right back was only him filling a gap in the squad to get him in the team. The fact he has performed so admirably has meant that we have not had to buy one and may well see him end up there, but it is still early in his career. Kolo Toure spent the early part of his Arsenal career playing as a winger, Gerrard played full back in his early days too. It is just about learning and gaining experience, then seeing how his game evolves.}

2.) 17 Sep 2018 07:46:14
I think Trent will be so good at rb that he will remain one. Potential to be very best at that position. Excellent delivery, and getting better and better in defence and positioning. So glad he made it!

3.) 17 Sep 2018 08:04:02
Remember Carra scored on his debut, if I remember correctly? How a player starts their career and where they find a natural fit can be completely different things.

4.) 17 Sep 2018 11:31:12
I simply cannot see TAA getting a sniff in the midfield even if the kid wish for!

Ed by any chance we can have player profile on fabinho and Keita. thanks a lot for this website.

praveenlfc

{Ed001's Note - added them to the list mate, will try and get to them quickly for you.}

praveenlfc

All in all he is very good buy. infact a shrewd one considering his stock would have almost doubled. situations are quite frequent and common in football and on field results can change everything.

Ed01 I slightly disagree with comments as I really thought mane was not playing well. too many heavy touches n wasn't linking well. take an odd shots at goal which was way off the mark.

praveenlfc

{Ed001's Note - up to you, but he did some lovely things that you have clearly forgotten. Remember that run where he bounced up from being hacked down to retain the ball, leaving 2 guys in his wake before beating 2 more?}

Ed02 just wanted to know how is match fee derived. how come man utd has highest fee despite the fact that man city has played best football all season. thanks in advance.

praveenlfc

{Ed002's Note - Television appearances. It is not based on the quality of performance but the number of games shown live. It is called a "facilities" fee. Last season LFC were fourth but had the higest facilities fee because they had one more game shown live than the Manchester clubs and Chelsea.}
