Edd002 what's amorims personality like. Do you see him with your knowledge being able to manage big egos and make this step up?

{Ed002's Note - Ruben Amorim (C) Manchester United may offer an option - another option will be Liverpool, but knows he was not first choice - but I think they will move for him with Alonso not interested and I think he would be a good choice and a good fit. Do not rule out Barcelona but Deco has a preferred option whilst the board want to persuade Xavi to stay or to move quicky for Amorim. If needs force the situation and given the likely link between the club and Sporting, Chelsea may start pushing having spoken with him before. Newcastle will offer a wildcard option and will pay the termination clause and the cost of terminating his staff but they will not be an attractive option.}

1.) 04 Apr 2024 01:49:17
Thanks Ed002, I didn’t expect Chelsea or Newcastle to be changing managers this summer.

2.) 04 Apr 2024 07:31:46
Morning eds2
Can a club pay the termination clause now or do they have to wait until the end of the season. ?

{Ed002's Note - He won't be moving before the end of the season.}

31 Mar 2024 22:04:28
Edd002 who are we looking at to replace salah this summer if he likely leaves?

{Ed002's Note - Yes.}

1.) 01 Apr 2024 10:47:21
Is the CB list that Liv looking at has change with the appointment of Richard Hughes Ed? Or is it still the same as few months ago?

{Ed002's Note - He doesn't start until June so it will remain the Klopp, Fallows, Hunter list.}

2.) 01 Apr 2024 11:40:53
Never heard of Yes before. Who does he play for?

3.) 01 Apr 2024 13:02:10
Reading back Leroy sane is liked, Pedro neto is possible.

Previous links have been Bowen (but very costly)

I like bryan mubemo ?.

4.) 01 Apr 2024 13:25:55
I'd go with Kudus.

5.) 01 Apr 2024 13:28:12
Does anyone know what a Liv is?

6.) 01 Apr 2024 14:18:41
Yes Terday
Good player!

7.) 01 Apr 2024 14:29:08
I would be very surprised if we continued our pursuit of Leroy Sane. I imagine he was a Klopp pick. Would be pretty strange to bring someone on his salary and at his age into Liverpool with the manager on the outer.

Likewise, Bowen would cost a fortune from West Ham and it's probably a couple of years too late now. There are two other left footers at West Ham that would be preferable in Kudus and Paqueta, though very unlikely.

We were linked with Johan Bakayoko last summer so I assume that interest remains and I assume Nico Williams is also on the list.

Michael Olise is probably going to leave Palace this summer. Sounds like Chelsea and City may have already put in the groundwork though.

Whether Moussa Diaby is gettable from Villa I am not sure, especially if they make Champions League.

Kubo (Real Sociedad), Pino (Villarael) and Soule (Juventus) are other names that may come up but I don't think I have seen us linked with them, nor do I know if they are feasible.

We will also have to decide what we want to do with Ben Doak and Kaide Gordon who both play right wing. Keiran Morrison who is the prospect that everyone in the academy is talking about at the moment is a left footed attacking midfielder that likes to play off the right.

At a guess it'll be between Bakayoko and Williams.

8.) 01 Apr 2024 15:21:17
Kubo has a €60m release clause FPF.

9.) 01 Apr 2024 17:14:03
Maybe if amorim gets the job it won't be a winger but more of a no.10 type player.

10.) 01 Apr 2024 23:49:56
Pedro Neto is quality but is quite injury prone and we have enough of them players . its Bowen for me .

11.) 02 Apr 2024 10:04:29
Bowen is too old (28 in December) and would cost too much (England international playing at West Ham on a very long contract, they’d want at least as much as they got for Rice) . Feel that one is two years too late.

Sane is over rated, too old (29 in January), would cost too much and he has said on multiple occasions he has no interest in joining us (that should be more than enough to bin off any interest in him) . I wouldn’t waste a five minute call to his agent let alone send scouts to watch him)

Neto is a bit injury prone and his output doesn’t suggest that he’s remotely capable of stepping up. He’s a spursy type player.

Kudus I can’t see happening, again dealing with West Ham automatically means it’s going to be ridiculously hard to negotiate as they will ask for stupid money. I wouldn’t bet on us signing Pacquetta either (neither would he in fairness) .

Johan Bakayoko isn’t exactly setting the world alight in a relatively weak league.

Yeremy Pino has been out virtually all season with a serious injury, that’s a hard pass.

Moussa Diaby feels like one we should have got when he was at Leverkusen, Villa will be asking for stupid money.

Nico Williams doesn’t really have the end product to justify the price.

Olise will end up at City, United or Chelsea.

I think we should have a look at Rafa Leao at Milan. He’s at a good age, he’s scoring and creating at a similar level to Salah when he joined us, he’s also that kind of player who is just under the level of being top class, but could get there with the right coaching and management, more than that. He’s also lightning quick and physically imposing too.

{Ed002's Note - Leao won't be joining Liverpool.}

12.) 02 Apr 2024 10:30:04
Would Joao Felix be a option?

Appreciate he currently plays LW for Barcelona but he is versatile and talented. Perhaps he could finally realize his full potential with Liverpool.

Suspect he could be available in the summer.

{Ed002's Note - No, he is not an option for Liverpool.

24 Mar 2024 19:19:57
Edd002 Evan ferguson, have Liverpool any interest atm or any other clubs? Big fan of the lad.

{Ed002's Note - There is no interest from Liverpool but there is from elsewhere but largely dependent on clubs losing preferred options.}

1.) 25 Mar 2024 08:46:07
Everyone's waxing lyrical about this chap but I genuinely don't know what they are watching, because every time I watch Brighton he starts on the bench and has 6 goals in 35 appearances.

2.) 25 Mar 2024 08:59:51
Didn’t he score a hat trick at the start of the season that had some of the ‘less grounded’ on social media putting him in the £100m bracket?

3.) 25 Mar 2024 09:21:25
He's 19 and has all thr right attributes. He's going to be top drawer if he can avoid injuries.

4.) 25 Mar 2024 10:27:57
He's 19 and is playing in an average team that's constantly being chopped and changed by someone who, imo, is an average manager. Half his 36 appearances have been off the bench.

That being said, I suspect he won't end up as good as Nunez, so what's the point?

5.) 25 Mar 2024 11:30:20
Harry Kane wasn’t tearing up trees at 19 or 20 either and should’ve become the all time prem top scorer. As an isolated stat, 6 in 35 for a mid table team at 19 years old isn’t eye watering, but then isolated stats never give any context either.

6.) 25 Mar 2024 19:36:45
I think he is another player that I hear how good he is jet every time I see him he looks bang average like Timo Werner and Caicedo I believed the hype and hope we signed both and am so glad we didn’t.
I really hope we go nowhere near him I would rather have Danns in the squad rather than blowing £100+m on another vastly overrated player.

7.) 25 Mar 2024 23:43:41
@QV what’s Kane got to do with Ferguson?

On a separate note - “all time” started in August 1992 did it?

8.) 26 Mar 2024 11:21:15
West Derby Wanderer - He did say all time Prem, so yeah that did start in 1992. He didn't say all time top flight did he?

9.) 26 Mar 2024 11:23:05
Lack of pace could be a problem he is a bit of a lump who would rely on being in the right place at the right time and long distance shooting. Not Liverpool standard just yet but if he can master his movement and build up play ya never know. We currently have the second best striker in the world but a suitable understudy should be looked for. Gakpo is a midfielder end of.

10.) 26 Mar 2024 16:19:56
WDW, I mean sure, I was thinking of using the example of a young Gandhi, but then I thought using another striker may be more relevant.

I was pointing out that you don't have to look world class at 19 to become world class a few short years later. I don't think anyone predicted Kane was destined to become the player he has become and therefore, the relevance of Ferguson’s goal record now on what he may or may not become is virtually nil. It’s called a comparison.

As Gunn10 pointed out, I did say all time PREM top scorer so obviously although not 100 percent fool proof, id say its a long enough length of time with a large enough player pool to judge a player’s ability against.

01 Jan 2024 19:25:06
Ed002 is Thuram signing for us possible at all in January? Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - I believe there is a chance but a very significant number of posters clearly don’t want him.}

1.) 02 Jan 2024 09:50:44
Ed002 I think he's fantastic and could be special for us. Thanks for the update. Hopefully the club go for him, I'd be delighted.

2.) 02 Jan 2024 09:58:56
I think he would flourish under Klopp.

3.) 02 Jan 2024 17:32:44
Thuram seems like a great player who has simply gone stale to many because his name has been in the news for the better part of a year. He would be an incredible addition for Liverpool, although I'm not sure I see the dire need.

4.) 03 Jan 2024 09:22:58
It's strange alright Ed002 why Liverpool 'supporters' wouldn't want Liverpool to sign one of their targets. Until he goes to City of course and then it'll be OMG How did we miss out on him? For shame!

{Ed002's Note - They turn easily on past, present and potential future players Jurgen.}

13 Aug 2023 14:57:46
Edd002 you mentioned that Liverpool have moved away from thuram? Why is that. I knew he wants the psg move but its not looking likely this summer and you'd said if the caicedo deal falls through Liverpool could look to him as an optio6as well as united. I'm just wondering why he's no longer looking a possible option? Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - They thought him too expensive and it looks like he will bide his time in Nice, although there is now growing interest in him from elsewhere.}

1.) 13 Aug 2023 15:26:25
More expensive than the offer made for Caicedo ed002?

{Ed002's Note - No. You all need to step away from the money.}

2.) 13 Aug 2023 15:42:52
Manchester United are interested apparently.

3.) 13 Aug 2023 16:16:26
Some of these players that are deemed too expensive will go on to be world class, so how do you make that call?
Was Thuram was priced around 40m?

{Ed002's Note - A but higher.}

4.) 13 Aug 2023 18:21:24
I presume the payment structure needs to be considered when some players are deemed too expensive.

2 players may be 50 or 60m each. But one club may want the bulk of the 50m upfront whilst the other is happy to have it over a couple of years. Any clubs budget will vary depending on the cash they have on the initial outlay and it will then impact other signings.

5.) 14 Aug 2023 08:03:07
I’m sick and tired of all these clubs trying to over charge us for their players.

Hopefully we can sell Phillips for 170 mill we’re asking for and then use 3 mill of that to offer in instalment’s to the 18th choice Dm on our most wanted list.

Edd001 is Henderson on good terms with klopp? Found it strange he never sent him a nice farewell message or wasn't including in the farewell message that including stevie, players etc. He was klopps longest serving captain.

{Ed001's Note - he did post something, I saw it this morning. }

20 May 2024 10:09:46
You know i think virgs embrace summed it up for everyone especially the fan base. The tears into the hug. Virg grew up without a father and i feel like for 20 odd years there was such a disconnection between the fans and the manager / owners. We were never close to really winning a PL but when klopp came, we just knew we had someone very special who was going to deliver.
I heard Carra compare him with the great Liverpool managers including benetiz and that's when i thought what an insult. Klopp is our generations shankly. He's way above benetiz. There should be a statue for klopp.

1.) 20 May 2024 11:30:48
Carra went through a list of great managers that Klopp was up there with. You can't just pick one out that you aren't happy with.

Rafa won the Champions League with one of the greatest ever second half comebacks. If you look at the squad he had you can see how immense this achievement was. Look how hard Pep found it to win with his billions of pounds at City.

Klopp is a legend and yes there should be something at the ground to immortalise hm but that doesn't mean you should belittle the achievements of those who came before him.

2.) 20 May 2024 11:38:58
Benitez wasnt as warm a character as Klopp but he definitely understood the club and the city.
Ultimately his time with us promised more than it delivered but there was a lot going on around the club and the emergence of Chelsea and strength of United made his task a difficult one.
There were however some great nights, a really good team that came together in 2008/ 09 and pretty much every European giant was humbled at one point or another.
Not quite Klopp levels but I have a lot of respect for Benitez and look back fondly on those years.

3.) 20 May 2024 11:49:24
I’d agree with that Mizer. Although we should forever be thankful to Rafa for Istanbul I didn’t particularly like him as a manager and was glad when he left.

Klopp could not be any further away from that. A true once in a lifetime manager that we were so very fortunate to have.

4.) 20 May 2024 12:46:05
I think Benitez got the club just as much as Klopp did and the main real difference is Klopp was given a far better foundation for success. Rafa had to try and manage under some absolute morons.

Rafa won a CL for us with a mid table team. Let's not rewrite history and pretend what Rafa did wasn't just as remarkable as what Klopp did in it's own way. Had FSG been in charge 6 years earlier, I genuinely believe Rafa would've won the league too. He came bloody close even with the mess behind the scenes he had to work with.

The guy still has a house in the area and comes back near on every year to pay his respects to the 97. He'll probably move back to Liverpool permanently when he retires. He embraced the people and the City just as much as Klopp did, he just simply didn't have the conditions required for success, yet he brought us some anyway. Put some respect on his name.

5.) 20 May 2024 12:59:57
Legit dying for Rafa to wake up one morning and say: "You know what? I think I will ring the FAI and ask to manage Ireland. I can still live in Liverpool if I do that. "

The man doesn't work for the paltry few pennies the FAI could pay him though.

6.) 20 May 2024 13:11:37
The fai would probably mess up the deal in the first meeting.

7.) 20 May 2024 13:58:20
Rafa was great for the club. he wasn't a character like Klopp but he got the club n fans . he used to go to bars with the fans etc but more importantly he wanted what was best for us . a winner end of.

8.) 20 May 2024 14:04:53
The managers we’ve had who have been champions of England or champions of Europe or both all deserve their legendary status.
To be compared to Rafa is being compared to a legend in my book.

9.) 20 May 2024 14:07:09
Rafa won us the champions league?! Lol. It was his fault we were trailing by 3 at half time. Benetiz was decent and became mediocre. He shouldn't be in the same convo as klopp.

10.) 20 May 2024 14:53:38
Aye Mizer, cos any other manager in the world would've dragged that lot into the CL final and easily won it.

11.) 20 May 2024 15:47:26
Yes Mizer Rafa won up the champions league. who do u think won it . the players on their own. he guided us through all the rounds . surely I don't have to name all the teams we beat on the way.

12.) 20 May 2024 17:15:55
Must have been someone else who made the tactical change at half time in Istanbul.

I always assumed it was the manager.

19 May 2024 21:37:50
Edd001 how are you feeling?

{Ed001's Note - drained, all those tears take it out of you! I am just looking forward to the next chapter with excitement, though I will always miss Jurgen. It was the right time and he dealt with it all so well, his speeches touched the right chord and he even got us all singing the next man's name. The best thing about it is that there was no artifice, this wasn't like 'Arry Redknapp playing to the crowd with his cock-er-nee barra boy spiel, pretending to be a good guy. This was genuine, from the heart and just what we all needed to hear. He may not have won as much as he maybe should have, it might have fallen apart a bit in the run in, but I don't care, I wouldn't have swopped the time with Jurgen Norbert Klopp for anything or anyone else.}

1.) 20 May 2024 03:54:03
Well said Ed001. The genuineness just comes through in his speeches and we could all feel it. It was a good, positive farewell all around.

{Ed001's Note - you can see why his players are so inspired by him. Players that played for him always talk about him in glowing terms and it is no wonder. I think we would all have run through brick walls for him yesterday.}

2.) 20 May 2024 06:29:54
John Keith said that in 1971 when Mr Shankly spoke to the crowd in front of St George’s Hall, if he’d asked to run through the tunnel and sack Birkenhead they’d have done it.

Yesterday, Jurgen could have done the same - although i’m glad he didn’t.

Great speech from a great man. We will miss him.

3.) 20 May 2024 07:21:37
The thing I loved more than anything else was he actively went out of his way to make it just as much about everybody else as well as him.

In a football world with egos that match the size of their salaries, that’s such a beautiful thing and a real measure of the man.

Also - if you haven’t seen it then have a look at pep guardiolas press conference last night where he is getting emotional talking about klopp and what he has driven him to be.

4.) 20 May 2024 06:05:31
Ed1, are you planning on writing something to sum up Klopp time at Liverpool in the future? Still can't believe that he lead the whole Anfield into singing the next man's name. Just show what a great man he is. The final speech he gives yesterday is like his final pep talk for all Liverpool supporters all around the world. He doesn't want his name to be said among other club's great Shankly, Paisley and Kenny. But there is not a single doubt that he belong among the club's greatest.

{Ed001's Note - yes mate, I am intending to do something.}

5.) 20 May 2024 10:00:26
I guess it will be something that is hard for you to do Ed1. Given how much Klopp has brought back a lot of joy for us Liv fans, I imagine few tears will come out when you're writing that. What a blessing it is to have him as one of our manager.

{Ed001's Note - very hard mate. I am dreading it. I was back in bits this morning watching the footage.}

6.) 20 May 2024 10:02:31
Edd001 ino was tough because he was special and we all know to get a klopp is once in a generation. Not the success but the man and how he emotionally connected soo well to the club and it's fans. His personality is unmatched. I think we've seen the best from klopp but look at virg, cried when embracing him. He's been like a father figure for the club. I think arne has a very tough job to be honest and i hope he doesn't underestimate it.

{Ed001's Note - just look at all the ex-players too. Lovren in particular posted a very touching tribute.}

7.) 20 May 2024 10:11:38
I fell you, Ed01. I was not as drained as you were even tho, the onion cutters did a decent job on me a bit, lol. Everything looked genuine. No phoney, mealy moutth company mine schtick. Just words from the heart of a man who really cared about his players, the club, the city and the fan base. Royalty, man.

Did you see Slot's send-off at Feyenoord? It was not as big and colorful as Klopp's BUT it was a very good one. They sang him and his kids off with YNWA (rendition was very diff. ), as well. Im excited about what he can do and he seems to be ready to make that jump.

Klopp is now a fan now and the best way for him to be a true fan was to sing the new Arne Slot song to welcome his successor. Time to support Big Arne, the way we supported and believed in Klopp. The man asked us to do so as a parting wish. Who are we not to oblige? YNWA, Jurgen and Queen Ulla! You will be sorely missed but NEVER forgotten.

{Ed001's Note - I am looking forward to Slot now, the send off he got was nice to see.}

8.) 20 May 2024 10:18:35
Getting the crowd to sing Slots name was incredible I thought. To the last, Klopp was thinking about making sure the club was in the best position to move forward. I was born in 1991 and only really started supporting when I was around 15, obviously missed out on the glory days of the past but man, I am lucky to have got to see the Klopp era live.

9.) 20 May 2024 10:56:05
Have to say Klopp singing an Arne Slot song was not on the bingo card.

Thought the arrangement of the celebration was a bit strange.

But it's a mark of the man. He wanted it to be about his colleagues and the next man rather than just him.

It's a shame the stadium cleared out before the lap of honour. Not sure if that was intended.

Regardless, a good send off and as he said, he's now one of us.

17 May 2024 13:14:15
Edd001 if Madrid make a huge bid for trent do you see him staying or leaving?

{Ed001's Note - he would prefer to stay.}

1.) 17 May 2024 14:23:21
What is Trent even worth now?

2.) 17 May 2024 14:11:37
I hope he does Ed001. Must be a slight temptation given he's good mates with Bellingham, but it's a little bit like the Coutinho situation. Stay here and he can be a legend. Go to Madrid and you're just another player who they will replace with a new Galactico without hesitation.

I just hope he stays as a midfielder or a winger. He used to shine there at youth level and got compared to Gerrard. I read a lot that he's too slow but he is actually a very powerful runner. He's not the quickest off the mark and that does hamper him up against explosive wingers, but once he gets going he has that same power that the likes of Gerrard and Vieira had carrying the ball or making a run beyond a team mate. I'd put him in as AM or RW where he looked best at youth level. I have no doubt that he'd smash it in either of those positions.

He's far too good going forward for us to want him to leave so it will surely come down to his decision.

3.) 17 May 2024 14:36:37
I really hope he stays. Our best player on the ball, no doubt about it. Get him playing further forward.

4.) 17 May 2024 14:43:38
Trents a boyhood red and his likely ambition will be to captain LFC, win the league and CL with his boyhood club.

Technically he's done all that already and with us about to go through a managerial change how close are we to winning the league and CL title next season or so on.

Real are building a world class squad with the new galacticos of Vinicius, Mbappe and Bellingham etc.

The pull of Real if they do want Trent might be too much.

In 7 months time he can negotiate a free transfer. It seems that all the negotiating power is with the player.

5.) 17 May 2024 16:56:02
Longthing, What is Trent worth? Whatever any club is willing to pay for him. Seriously tho, I don't think we will sell if he does not make a fuss, which I don't think he will do either. So he stays, IMO.

6.) 17 May 2024 18:28:19
I'm not connected to professional football in any shape or form, just an avid fan and observer like most on here, since a few decades.

TAA will probably be asking for at least 300K per week, at the least. How many of you want to pay him that much (minimum)?

7.) 17 May 2024 18:52:21
I personally think Bradley is a more effective right back, I don’t see him as a centre midfielder as he shirks too many challenges too often and doesn’t seem to want to do the dirty work, can’t see him as a number 10 as he hasn’t the vision and intelligence of someone like De Bruyne and that lack of acceleration absolutely marks him out of being a winger at the top level, as you either need a burst of lightning pace or a bag of tricks to get you past a fullback and he has neither. IMHO, I think it time both parties moved on.

8.) 17 May 2024 19:00:05
I love to see people writing off trent as a midfielder without ever seeing him actually play there. We have a liverpudian born and bred who loves the club and has won a CL and PL with us, and people are like nah he can't be good enough to adapt, yet milner could play everywhere.
Some weird takes on Trent of late.

9.) 17 May 2024 20:20:32
He will sign a contract and stay, we'll have to sell others to get the new toys.

10.) 18 May 2024 00:17:06
DeanW: so because James Milner exists as a jack of all trades, Trent is good enough to be a midfielder?

11.) 18 May 2024 06:35:52
Trent needs a reset and I hope Slot can do that. He's gone backwards over the last few years from being someone who looked like a generational talent to someone who is a genuine liability defensively and doesn't actually look that effective going forward anymore.

{Ed001's Note - what utter nonsense.}

12.) 18 May 2024 08:49:55
The hate on TAA is shocking.

Quickly becoming a scapegoat for so many fans. wow!

13.) 18 May 2024 09:50:59
MKS when Trent starts to have back "issues", running his mouth in the press (same with his agent which I think is is mom), refusing to train and literally paying reportedly 10m of his own money to force the deal then, we can compare his situation to COutinho's. till then, let's wait and see, shall we?

14.) 18 May 2024 10:20:19
What's strange is that some think TAA can't play in midfield because they say he can't defend but they would play him at right back with more defensive responsibility or just sell him. If we sold all our midfielders that can't defend we'd be having another rebuild this summer.
To those that think next season is all about Harvey Elliott: how do you think he would do playing right back?

15.) 18 May 2024 17:56:22
My view Rigsby, is that TAA isn’t a particularly good right back as his defending is poor, Bradley is a far superior right back, it’s not even close. I also don’t think he is defensive centre midfield material either, his inability to track runners, reluctance to make challenges and his switching off at vital moments absolutely makes that a non starter and he doesn’t do do enough in a game to be a box to box centre midfielder, I don’t see him as a winger or a number 10 as he hasn’t the electric pace or trickery to be a winger and doesn’t have the intelligence or guile that a top class number 10 should have. Feels to me that he’s a luxury player who we can’t carry. I don’t think he does enough to warrant the hype.

1 of the 2 best passers in the league, will be the best if moved into midfield alongside another No.6, he needs to sign a lifetime deal and be the next skipper, anyone thinking he needs to go needs a head shake, generational talent on a different level.

Edd001 would you support Anthony Gordon signing for us?

{Ed001's Note - do you mean would I want us to sign him? No. He is one trick pony and is a terrible winger. Maybe he could be better up front, but all he has is pace and the ability to hit an early shot.}

1.) 15 May 2024 20:17:23
Probably offers more than Diaz.

2.) 15 May 2024 21:37:23
I would be inclined to think that Gordon would score more than Diaz in the current team.

3.) 15 May 2024 22:53:46
If there was one player that we could sign from Newcastle it would be Guimarães not Gordon.

4.) 16 May 2024 05:57:54
If we were to sign him and I hope not, but a song already
To the tune from jilted John
Gordon is Claire balding
Gordon is Claire balding
Apologize for this.

5.) 16 May 2024 08:29:37
Strange to have a pop at Luis Diaz.

I actually think he’s one of the ones I would definitely keep - for one he hasn’t gone missing and shied away when the pressure has been high this season - eg caraboa cup final.

Always wants the ball and wants to carry us forward. Not been incredible this season but neither have most of the team.

6.) 16 May 2024 10:54:48
I like Gordon as a player, just not for £100m. Annoying little f#! £er too but I'd probably love him if he played for us.

7.) 16 May 2024 11:01:38
Diaz is the better player overall, IMO. Don't want Gordon here, either.

8.) 16 May 2024 12:49:35
£60M plus add ons would be a great deal for Gordon, given his age, HG potential and ability to move us forward quicker than a Salah would i would be happy to get him.

Edd002 do you know if trent is interested in going to Madrid?

{Ed002's Note - I really have no idea. Sorry.}

I think klopps finished. Imo he's past his best. Unless he goes to Madrid full of superstars when IF he were to sign he'd do well. Anywherelse he's getting found out. He's been making terrible decisions these past 3 years and it's cost us. He's forgotten what made him successful as a manager and his style of play.

Edd002 what's his style of play? I'm hoping we ditch the inverted fullback nonsense.

{Ed002's Note - It would be a fast attacking soccerball style with an inverted goalkeeper.}

{Ed002's Note - As far as I know.}

Trent scores 3 goals a season and his assists are half of what they were when he's came in centrally plus there's no guarantees he'll get into midfield under a new manager. he's quality but that's outrageous if he gets put onto that.

That's the point. He's not a midfielder so to suggest he'd be better at macca in a position he's completely unfamiliar with is nuts (respectfully ed) . It's been over complicated with trent. We have a terrific attacking right back, it's quite simple. Let him flourish and get him to keep improving especially defensively and we'll have an all time great right back. Move him to midfield and when the opposition have the ball it'll be like having 1 less midfielder. Trents flaws would be badly exposed in midfield. Macallister was brilliant when he hit form. Sobosli has been far worse for a lot longer. There was a lot of matches this season where a lot of players were poor but we got the result. It'll be interesting under slot how we play and hopefully improve.

Completely disagree with eds post. Macallister is a massive player for us and trent is nowhere near what mac is as a midfielder.

{Ed001's Note - Macca had a good few weeks but was god awful for large parts of the season, so not sure how he can be 'massive' compared to Trent. You have no idea what Trent is like as a midfielder to suggest he is nowhere near Macca.}

Rafa won us the champions league?! Lol. It was his fault we were trailing by 3 at half time. Benetiz was decent and became mediocre. He shouldn't be in the same convo as klopp.

{Ed001's Note - just look at all the ex-players too. Lovren in particular posted a very touching tribute.}
