Hi All,

Junior El Kroupi he has moved high on the priority list along with Barcola.

Agree11 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 08:39:11
And how is Deschamps going to make use of Kroupi?

Agree5 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 08:58:38
I could only see Kroupi or Barcola coming here only if sell Gakpo.

I know Kroupi is a cf, but he could be of use as a backup striker / lw, like I would like Gakpo to be this season. Although I don't know if the money is worth it.

Agree4 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 09:01:25
Kroupi is a poor man's Rayan.
Go big or go home.

Having said that, I'll trust the manager on this one. 😁

Agree7 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 09:35:11
Let's have both Rayan and Kroupi. Have worked under our boss, young and hungry. Maybe we need Bournemouth scouts?

Agree6 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 10:31:00
Regarding Diomande, ... it could be a scenario where PSG have promised they'll match Liverpool's wage offer and contract, but won't pay the transfer fee that RBL are demanding. So RBL won't sell for a lower offer than Liverpool's and would be happy to keep him either way.

If that was the case, what would Diomande's agency want?
Another year at RBL or sign for Liverpool?
Just guessing what might be going on.

Agree6 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 11:25:59
Hope we don't sign him if the rumours are true, not accepting sloppy seconds.

Agree3 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 12:26:39
Diomande stated to media several weeks ago that his preferred destinations would be either PSG or Real Madrid (not LFC).
Even if there still is a possibility that he could end up in LFC, I personally hope that won't happen.
We need dedicated players.

Agree5 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 14:22:42
Don't want players coming if they're not genuinely wanting to wear our shirt, just a cash thing.
Close call, in my opinion. Let him stay in Germany another year and possibly have a less successful year, and PSG no longer want him. Would love it!!!!
Move on.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 22:59:55
Evening Gents.

Diomande will be a Liverpool player.

We've not gone this far to walk away.

Cheers.

Agree69 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 23:48:13
Wow, if this turns out to be true, it’ll prove you can’t believe a word that the journalists say. The ITKs on this page have already been right about Slot this summer. Fingers crossed, because the other options at RW look pretty poor.

Agree23 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 23:48:39
But if his preference is PSG, then we should walk away.

Agree31 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 23:57:16
Yeah it's over. He's not joining, just stop it now.

Agree30 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 23:58:10
Stroms, we don't know that's his preference. That's just what some journo is saying, and for all we know, they could just be making stuff up to drive clicks.

Agree7 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 00:06:37
The player reportedly wants PSG. How could he become a Liverpool player? Liverpool may have made a great effort, but it seems the player used us.

Agree11 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 00:20:18
Well, in Carra and Robbo, doubters to believers.

Agree13 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 00:29:08
If he wants to go to PSG, then so be it. Oil money goes a long way in soccer these days. The rubbish he's been sprouting about supporting Liverpool is just smoke.
If he goes to PSG, don't know if he will be a starter, though, as PSG already have a good lineup in the forward department: Barcola, Dembele, Doue, Housni, and Kvaratskhelia.

Is he better than these players? Interesting to see...
If he does sign then maybe we could get Barcola.

Agree5 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 00:26:29
Has that Italian doomsdayer Fab not reported that everything's been agreed mate?

Agree2 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 01:40:00
Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.

Agree16 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 01:40:22
Sure, why don't we just buy Doue then. πŸ˜… Seems only fair. Jokes aside, I think Doue is going to be unbelievable. I'm sure he's not available in any case. And we'll wait and see on Diomande. If he signs, will he be a success. Like Wirtz, I hadn't seen much of him and got sucked in by the hype.

Agree4 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 03:18:49
I already have a negative vibe from this transfer saga with Diomande. It seems the player is manipulating both clubs to get the best paycheck from himself and max years in the contract. I am sure he is just going to sit on the side wherever he goes, grab that check and become a long-term liability.

Agree9 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 05:35:35
I've got to put my objective hat on here.

1. Paris
2. Enrique
3. French speaking
4. Helluva footballing project

I can't see this one happening, gents, but that's okay and we move on.

Carra, Robbo - takes some brass balls to come out and disseminate information you've heard, and I/we appreciate your efforts.

On to the next!

Agree20 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 05:43:55
Gases money Krums.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 06:11:01
I hope Robbo and Carra are right because there seems to be a lot of people, on so called football sites and in the Press, who just don't want Diomande at Liverpool and would love us to fail to sign him.

Agree7 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 06:18:10
Please do not overpay in terms of transfer money and salary, just to get him.
Sometimes we need to let go and find another target.
There are other players out there.
Overpriced players are not something of Liverpool's nature.
Let's build a team and not do an old PSG by buying Messi, Mbappe or Neymar and then win hardly any major trophies.

Concentrate on the squad depth.
No more moving players to recoup money just because we overpaid for someone else.
For that price, buy the whole Brighton scout team who found Rayan, etc.
Thanks. πŸ™ πŸ™

Agree8 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 05:58:07
Agree to @para-red Cara, Robbo, people here have no nails left to bite on. Its okay if you think, things didn't go as you thought they would. Its high time you come out and provide some more context and what gives you more confidence that this deal is happening.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 06:57:44
I don't think Carra and Robbo or the other ITKs have to justify themselves. They have been more right than wrong, and if you don't want to believe them, then fine, move on.

They put themselves out there by giving us information they are given.

If they believe there is still a chance, then they must have been told this.

I would be happy with Diomande, but I'm not going to lose any sleep if we don't, as long as we get someone like Barcola or someone similar.

Agree26 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 07:06:56
Diomande seems very ambitious, and there's nothing wrong with that, but do worry if he does join us that he will see us as a stepping stone. We may have a situation in a few years where he is refusing to sign a new contract to join Real or PSG.

It's also clear why any player would want to join PSG at the moment after them winning 2 Champs Leagues in a row, having unlimited resources and Enrique managing them. We will see what happens, but it's not the end of the world either way.

Agree4 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 07:13:58
Really hope he doesn't sign, if we have been played like a fiddle and he wants PSG then look elsewhere, even if it's just his agents messing about, still walk away.

Agree3 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 07:16:05
Well, just a while back there were news about him agreeing personal terms with us, only the transfer fee part was the problem. Suddenly, he wants PSG. But I do trust Robbo and Carra. If the deal doesn't happen, it will be because of the player's preference and not because of the lack of effort on our end.

I'm pretty sure we can survive without him if he chooses not to join us. Iraola did not have such players at Bournemouth and did quite well. So, I'm sure he will be alright with whatever players he will end up with.

Agree5 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 07:41:02
Just some clarity on my post here hahah.

At no such point am I asking, nor will I ever ask for anybody to justify their source and information lol. I was merely pointing out that objectively, and considering the huge PSG magnetic right now, my uninformed opinion is leaning towards - PSG/Yan D.

Football is not that important to me that if such a player doesn't go to LFC that I'd have a meltdown over information passed by proven credible posters.

Again - Robbo, Carra, and everyone else. Thank you for the information!

Agree9 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 08:19:40
The articles about PSG are basically cut and paste jobs on the articles the other week about us - club (us or PSG depending on week) has agreed terms with player / player only wants (club mentioned) / (club mentioned) seeks to agree fee with Leipzig

Gotta love the transfer window.

Agree5 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 08:43:39
What will be, will be, but fair play to Robbo and Carra, they haven't backed down and we see how it plays out.

The easy route would have been to say nothing, but neither seemed to care about being ITK, just passing on what they heard. The saying is there's three sides to every story; well, in football there's about 15 once you throw in agents, pundits and fans who all think they know best and all aiming at their own agenda.

There is a lot of noise, seemingly stemming from Ornstein, but what if the information he was fed was incorrect. Wouldn't be the first and won't be the last.

Either way, we are close to a resolution and can move onto other things.

Agree7 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 10:10:34
I think with Carra's info on bidding and what's out there now, we bid, it got accepted, and Diomande rejected us and wants PSG.

Looks like we got played by them.

I hope you are right, but all journos, French and German too are stating his choice is PSG, so I can't see them all being wrong.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 10:59:52
Look Robbo, you got nothing to prove. Diamonde wherever he goes is ok. You have given right info, we was interested, we made the bid, player camp showed interest and were keen.
I personally don't want him from day 1, but I don't like people calling out ITK. It takes away the most important part of this site.

Right or wrong, we come here to know the future cuz we lot are impatient f***s and want to know who we signing.
Being impatient is ok, being a dumbass is not.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 11:14:26
Got to admire your confidence on this one Robbo! Really hope you're proven right as literally every journo is saying he's chosen PSG. God tier ITK status if this one comes off. πŸ‘

Agree2 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 11:15:20
From what I have been told, we have agreed personal terms with Diomande. I know that.

I have been told we came to an agreement with RBL, the problem currently is how it's being paid.

I've been made aware that people are hyping the PSG " agreement " to force Liverpool into paying more of a down-payment, and less instalments.

Typical showdown.

Liverpool are still there, waiting.

If it was over, we would have walked away.

We haven't.

Cheers.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 11:36:40
S***housery from the players management team. They know they will get a bigger slice of the pie if more money is paid up front.

29 Jun 2026 11:47:30
Thanks Robbo, Carra, VG, etc.
Really appreciate the info.

Thanks for the extra clarity, Robbo. Fingers crossed we don't arse about and get it sorted.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 11:53:25
Genuine question - what if Diomande walks away?

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 12:14:32
Walks away to where?

PSG will not pay the fee that Liverpool will. Not anywhere close. This is a certainty as he isn't seen as a necessity by PSG.

So, he either stipulates he wants to remain at RBL, which he doesn't, or RBL comes to an agreement with Liverpool, which he does want, hence personal terms agreed.

He either moves to Liverpool, or remains at RBL against his wishes.

There is only one outcome.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 12:46:12
The structure of the payment is why people should stop getting hung up on the transfer fee.

It wouldn't surprise me if we've offered Β£20m up front and 4 yearly installments of Β£20m, and RBL want something closer to Β£40m up front and 3 yearly installments of Β£20m. Looks better for them.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 12:55:21
The team lacked a physical presence last season, and Diomande would help resolve that far more than Barcola would. Diomande also works hard and is willing to press and defend when needed.

Given the way the Premier League is at the moment, then another winger with similar attributes (Semenyo would have been perfect) for the other wing remains a requirement. If Gakpo was willing to work harder and use his size more, then he would not need to be replaced.

Let's hope that Iraola can work some magic with him.

Diomande had a breakout year last year, but wasn't so well known or regarded prior to that. Hopefully the recruitment team can identify the next up and coming stars that won't cost a fortune but have the potential to step up at Liverpool.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 14:31:52
Thank you, Robbo.

I hope we win.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 14:54:26
The best player for us is not necessarily the player who cost the most. There weren't many clubs chasing Salah's signature. He wasn't the priciest or the most coveted.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 14:55:56
If he really wants elsewhere, why bring him in?

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 18:03:20
Thanks for the info Robbo, I for one would love us to sign him.

Agree8 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 21:48:10
And I stand with you, Carra.

Agree8 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 21:48:20
To be honest, Carra, I can't see PSG paying the funds Leipzig want. How confident are you that we can get this over the line?

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 21:50:19
Accepted a bid from who, Carra, us or PSG?

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 21:50:59
Bid from us accepted by RB can still mean Diomande wants PSG more than us. Two things can be true at the same time. Just wonder why we bid again without the player's total agreement. Do we forget the Caicedo lesson or are we tricked by Diomande's agency?

Agree11 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 21:53:50
Good for you, Carra!
Don't let the big journalists with the sources divert you!
He didn't say we withdraw from the race.

What are the chances that both you and Robbo are wrong about it being done?

I am new to this site (saw this page in X, where someone said you are extremely reliable), but I believe you guys, everyone here trusts you.

Can someone please, by any chance, give me a recap of all the bang-on news that the crew here gave us? I can only go as far as 5 rumours/posts back.

Agree4 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 21:56:10

Carra has proven himself so many times.
If says it - then it is. 😎

Agree5 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 22:25:42
Carra's statement that we've had a bid accepted for Diomande doesn't conflict with the rumours he prefers PSG. Both can be true.

Maybe they won't have a bid accepted. Maybe they will and he'll tell us to sod off. We'll find out.

Agree7 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 22:31:12
It's possible our bid was accepted but potential move rejected by Diomande who favoured PSG? Question is, will PSG match our offer or will he stay at Leipzig for another season?

Agree5 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 22:37:17
I'm with you, Carra. ✊

Agree4 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 22:45:20
Whether it happens or not, Carra, you have been spot on enough and kept us in the loop as best you can. Football constantly shifts and changes and you can only go by what you're told!

Appreciate all the bits you have given us and long may it continue!

Agree5 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 23:05:51
Imagine if he stays and flops next year and Red Bull can't sell him for love nor money. Similar has happened before with players staying at a club a year more and their hype dying.

Agree4 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 23:14:12
Hi Carra, take you for your word. But did PSG just swoop at the last minute? Much appreciated, thanks.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 23:29:52
No big shakes if he doesn't sign for us. Could be a one season wonder costing us 100 mill. Spend the money on players who want to come.

Agree12 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:38:55
Hi all,

There is truth behind the claims that Diomande has chosen PSG as his preferred destination. As you may or may not have noticed, I have tried to stay clear of exerting major confidence on the Diomande deal for a while now. My understanding is always that we were strongly in the mix but it was never as far along as other rumours suggest.

Doubling down on what I said a few weeks back - Bradley Barcola will be a Liverpool player.

Agree29 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 21:31:35
Barcola predominantly plays on the left. We need a right winger. If we were prepared to pay over 100m for Diamonds are forever, then we should go all out for Rayan for the right side.

Agree5 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 21:42:07
Thanks, Vik. Hope all is well, mate.

Agree21 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 21:56:29
We don't bid without confidence.

Stop s***ting Barcola.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 21:57:46
But Carra said something else? Are you more reliable than he?

Can someone compare for me who is more reliable?
Please someone? Who is more trustworthy??

Geinulny asks, I only saw Carra getting praises.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 22:37:46
The way I see it, Carra is King Kenny, and Victor Goddamm is Robbie Fowler.

And I am Jan Kromkamp when it comes to reliability.

Agree7 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 22:46:58
BF9,

I've only been here for a year or so on this site and my go to's for info are

Carra

Robbo
Ned Flanders
VictorGoddam

They may not always agree but they give us spot on info and keep us as informed as they can.

Agree11 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 22:48:03
Okay, Icelolly, the next few days should tell then, shouldn't it?

Agree9 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 02:08:54
Forgive me if I'm wrong, Victor, but your post doesn't actually contradict Carra's, does it?

You are basically saying that there is some truth in Diomande wanting PSG but we are still in the mix?

Could it be a case of Diomande wanting to see if we can both table a bid acceptable to Leipzig before he makes his final decision?

Or that we haven't tabled a bid that's acceptable, so he wants to if PSG do?

Either way, if he comes, he comes and if he doesn't, he doesn't.

We'll be fine anyway.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:07:34
Yan has chosen PSG. We will go for Barcola. 80 million bid after World Cup.

Agree10 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:51:38
Why would we pay 90m on a left winger to play him out of position on the right?

Agree8 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:53:06
If true, then maybe we move for Maghnes Akliouche as Barcola is not the answer for right wing.

Agree7 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:56:30
Barcola is a left sided winger. We need a right sided winger. Don't get the Diomande chose PSG so Barcola is the solution narrative...

Agree4 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:57:11
PSG have not placed a bid.

'Sources' close to Diomande say he wants a move to PSG.

The player has not told Liverpool no.

That doesn't tell me he's moving to PSG.

Read between the lines.

Agree9 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:58:59
It was only a week ago that Robbo said he hoped we might have an announcement this week.

It hasn't happened, but I find it odd that everyone on X was saying "he only wants us", so why would he suddenly want PSG? I think I'll hold on to hope that our ITK's on here are right... they're normally pretty good. πŸ‘πŸ»

Agree4 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:59:26
Is this The Grizz? Appreciate the news either way.

Agree3 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 21:00:33
I rate Barcola and he obviously makes us better, but what made Diomande a must was the fact he is more comfortable on the right flank despite being right-footed. Potentially having Barcola, Gakpo, Rio, Munoz, and even Wirtz at times on the left would be odd. Of course they could all do bits on the right, but if you're forking out that cash, you'd want someone who actually wants and is more comfortable on the right.

For me now it has to be Rayan, who, like Diomande, there isn't a whole lot of data and I'm not sure how feasible the deal is.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 21:37:29
I say we should sound out Doue. Kvara and Dembele are untouchable, Barcola surplus. Would Doue want to be on the bench? Would not think so.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 21:53:21
If this is Grizz Khan from X, then you can pretty much disregard everything he just said. He pretends to be ITK, but hasn't got a clue. When people call him out on X, he blocks them.

What he has done here is tell us what Ornstein has said, then regurgitated a rumour that has been going around for weeks.

I will stick with what Carra and Robbo are saying, thanks.

Neff.

Agree11 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 19:59:32
If the reports are true, Diomande does not want LFC and would rather PSG. If that's the case then we all move on.

Agree11 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:56:49
Anything on this, Carra?

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 21:10:47
Yes, very true. Can't win them all. If he doesn't want us, then not the right player for us.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 22:09:29
If it's true he wants PSG, then we need to move on. No point signing a player who wants to play for another team.

Don't want sloppy seconds.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 23:14:09
I trust Carra more, but if he gets the diamonde one wrong, then I'm not too worried. Β£100million player he certainly isn't.
Great if he comes, and if he prefers PSG then fine.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Jun 2026 00:06:43
He could be willing to sign for Liverpool but prefers to sign for PSG. That doesn't mean he doesn't want Liverpool.

No worries, bring in El Mala & Barcola and use the spare dosh on a better CM & RB.

They might have had a bid accepted and player didn't want to come to us.

Agree4 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:06:17
100 million for a back up is quite a move even for PSG. Double blow if it means Barcola to Arsenal.
Point that YD cash in the direction of Bournemouth for Rayan? I really can't think of anyone else for the right. Minteh would be a fine squad player but he hasn't the quality to constantly weave around low blocks.

Agree4 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:06:43
Just read the report. David Ornstein says he's up for the project.

Looks like we just did all the ground work for PSG to have a tap in.

Fed up now!

28 Jun 2026 20:08:06
Ornstein has confirmed this. We will be going in for Barcola.

It's all speculation, guys. Enjoy the show.

Personally, I'm more fascinated with what the new manager can do with our current squad than what any new superstars can do.

So pleased that Iraola is getting this time with the fringe players and the whole setup without the distraction of the first team.

Agree16 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:10:56
My thoughts have been, for a while, that the price is too high for him. For me, he has world class potential, but he isn't world class. That was a risky fee to pay for such a short period playing at top level.

I've been on the fence a little, as I do think potential is big with him.

Let's hope homework is done, and the club has identified great alternatives. More money, hopefully, to spread around the team.

Agree9 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:12:09
So disappointing if true.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:12:41
So maybe the bid accepted was PSG!

Anyway, I'm sure a lot needs to be done and will get done in the transfer market.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:13:15
Some might have thought the bid was accepted. It's a rumour site where people share information. Don't take everything as gospel, and enjoy the site.

Agree4 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:13:22
Is this the same Athletic that consistently reported Slot would be our manager next season?

But, let's say if it is true, then who cares? It would just prove we've dodged a bullet in my opinion, so don't be gutted. If the lad wants to go play in a farmers league, sitting on a bench week in week out on a fortune in wages, it shows he wouldn't have what it takes to ever reach his full potential with us in the first place.

Plenty of other exciting targets out there like El Mala, Rayan, Barcola, etc, not to mention the talent we have in the academy like Morrison and Abe who haven't had an opportunity yet.

Just be patient, the future is bright.

Agree4 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:14:21
Oh well, get somebody in that wants to be here. Simple, really.

Apparently he wants the opportunity to win the Balon D'Or. Maybe phone a certain right back in Madrid for advice on that one.

It seems to me that the boy doesn't know what he wants. Last week, he was a boyhood Liverpool fan whose father wanted him to play for Liverpool. The next day, the story was exactly the same except that PSG had replaced Liverpool. I just hope that Liverpool don't increase their offer but look elsewhere.

Agree5 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:11:14
Not sure what Carra was posting at 14:05 today saying a bid had been accepted? 🀯

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:26:03
I believe Carra more than Ornstein.

For Liverpool to have even bid for the lad, there must have been some encouragement from his camp; not saying a player can't change their mind, and we've been down this road before, so who knows, but I don't think this is final just because of what Ornstein has said.

Agree6 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:27:55
Player opted for PSG and you can't really argue with that, guaranteed titles and 2 in a row in CL! Would have liked him at Liverpool, but at the fee being asked I'm not exactly gutted he isn't signing as it's an awful lot of money for a 19yo with little behind him.

Could well be a world beater, but could equally flop in the PL. Let's see who we switch our focus to!!

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:29:00
Fantastic news if true. Nowhere near worth the money being mentioned.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:30:58
Barcola now obviously a must, but we still need a proper RW. Endrick, Bowen, Minteh, Kudus - one of those seems the best shouts.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:33:58
Wait... So we are going for El Mala, Barcola and Victor Munoz in just one window?

I mean, the three of them are young, talented and versatile, but also primarily left wingers...

I guess you can't have enough of them left wingers at Liverpool...

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:40:47
Tbh, many of you are real football fans. Is the lad really worth 100m plus? If he was 40 to 60m, I could say ye ok, but we are talking about a massive amount to b paying for a player with potential. Rather we get Rayan, if not go get Bowen.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:41:24
Looks like Diomande's agency has just strung us along all this time, knowing he wants PSG.
But we move on... One player doesn't make a team.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:41:52
Chaz, you can have a bid accepted but the player doesn't want to join. Happens.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:44:07
Barcola has previously said he wants to play left wing for his next club, that's reason why he wants out, he's behind Doue & Kvaratskhelia.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 20:50:01
Horribly overpriced for somebody with one good season in the Bundesliga.

Would be the most risky transfer we've ever done.

I would genuinely prefer we spread the money over a couple of new signings.

I'm sure this sounds like sour grapes now, but I think quite a few of us feel the same way, and I've been nervous about the price being rumoured.

For that kind of money, I would expect a ready-made world beater to be coming in.

I'm from what (little) I've seen, he's not even close to that level.

Agree7 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 21:13:13
Chaz, for one, Carra said "I think a bid has been accepted."

Plus, you can have a bid accepted, but the player chooses another club or to stay. It happened to us with Zubimendi. We had a bid accepted, he chose to stay.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 21:16:05
To be fair, Carra said a bid has potentially been accepted, didn't say which club. πŸ€”

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 21:22:19
Perhaps a fee was agreed with Leipzeg and Liverpool, and then the player pulled the plug and decided he wanted PSG when they came in for him. PSG had to move players on and get their ducks in order before making their move. Guess we may never know.

Onwards and upwards! Lad has great potential but Β£100+ fee for 1 season of potential is a heavy investment. Wirtz had been player of the season twice before his move. Isak had a clear track record - no guarantees but Diomande was a risk.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 21:31:01
Dickie's bezzy, Alex Crook has confirmed it too for those in doubt.

For all those saying Rayan - he signed for Bournemouth for 25m a few months ago. Bournemouth now know how desperate we are for a RW and will ask for as close to Β£100m as possible.

I wonder how Big John would look at the sporting director for that potentially very expensive (50-75m) mistake? I'd be taking Dickie out on the boat if it were me.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 22:09:25
I couldn't care less if we sign him or not. The money being spoken about is insane.

I am just so happy Slot is gone, for me it is on par with winning a title. I feel like we have our club back.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 22:10:17
It's very simple for me, he either wants to play for Liverpool or he doesn't. If he doesn't, then I couldn't give a flying fish how fantastic or not he is, he isn't for us. Immediately move on.

Surprised if we are also going for El Mala too. Good player though.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 15:36:46
Thanks, Carra, as always.
If indeed Said El Mala is joining, it very strongly indicates that Gakpo will move on. Otherwise it makes no sense to have him too alongside Munoz, Rio, Cody. I hope Cody is doing well though after the terrible news.

Agree8 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 15:37:41
I think Diomande can play either wing, Munoz can play anywhere along the front. Not sure about El Mala. But with Rio as well, that is 4 top young wingers.

Agree5 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 15:44:19
There's a strong chance Cody will stay due to his versatility to play in the centre, without Ekitike for most of next season, and with Isak's injury record, we will need the depth up top.

28 Jun 2026 15:46:53
Not seeing anything in the media, so will wait with baited breath. πŸ™„

Agree6 Disagree0

El Mala is primarily a left winger, but he can play through the middle as well. He played a fair few games as a center forward last year.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 17:31:38
From a French ITK (with a solid history)

In the case of Diomande, it feels like the player wants to join PSG and that he's let Leipzig know about it.

When you see the German club saying they're waiting for PSG to outbid, even though Liverpool's already put in an offer of 115M, it really makes you think.

Agree6 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 17:33:36

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jun 2026 18:19:48
I do not see Gakpo "being able to play a 9".
He seems totally lost there, even less of a threat than a predictable Gakpo on the left.

Either Munoz can step in, or we play with falze 9 when Isak is not available.

Else, we better hope Dann is available to fill in, or that we go for someone else.

My heart goes to Gakpo, got the terrible news.
