Trent’s already bought his house in Madrid.
1.) 13 Apr 2025 22:49:31
What's the address?
2.) 14 Apr 2025 07:07:06
Plaza Del Mucho Dinero.
3.) 14 Apr 2025 09:18:48
Has he sent you a house warming invite VVV?
4.) 14 Apr 2025 10:39:34
I can confirm Trents new address is 79 Esquina Tomada Rapidamente.
5.) 14 Apr 2025 12:15:27
He’s moving to Casa del Hethethethetheth, hethethethetheth Chrith Waddle. It was announced on Channel 9 news. (IYKYK)
6.) 14 Apr 2025 12:51:25
VV, Scorchio.
7.) 14 Apr 2025 13:25:53
Like it Stuie.
8.) 14 Apr 2025 14:00:34
Trent’s got a new boot sponsorship with ADIOS.
9.) 14 Apr 2025 19:33:57
Creful @twinkletoes, eggs are expensive now, not worth it! : p.
02 Apr 2025 17:11:43
Some good news heading into the derby for you all - Salah has agreed a deal with the club and a signature is imminent. The king will be staying at Anfield.
1.) 02 Apr 2025 17:22:29
Or he has taken up sailing?
{Ed025's Note - not into the sunset i hope mate.. :)
2.) 02 Apr 2025 17:38:53
I’m not sure if the boat video being recorded is related to the contract, but he’s definitely agreed.
3.) 02 Apr 2025 20:40:57
From my understanding it was nothing more than a media commitment for the club and has nothing to do with a contract extension.
4.) 02 Apr 2025 21:29:09
VictorGoddamn we know you are the other victor who reads dodgy articles on aggregators and pretneds to be ITK.
5.) 02 Apr 2025 23:03:26
Tbh I think isak if we get him could replace Salahs goals and then we sign a young get winger. Salah again seems to be hitting his inevitable end of season slump and with afcon and wc next year I don’t see the value in keeping him.
6.) 03 Apr 2025 17:23:13
Great use of brain cells there Vango to assume because me and some other bloke share the same name that it must be the same person. LOL. Not even the same spelling mate.
29 Mar 2025 21:03:28
Take this with a BOWL of salt but I’m hearing murmurs that Trent may be having second thoughts about putting pen to paper with Madrid. Likely he still goes, but it’s not guaranteed.
1.) 29 Mar 2025 23:36:14
Ooh. Gerrardesque turn. Nice.
I'm going to choose to believe this.
Come on Trent. Do it.
2.) 30 Mar 2025 00:29:24
Picture on tonight’s echo website ( Liverpool paper, printed in Manchester so most scousers don’t buy it) for you non scousers where he is sat I’m Mo’s with szob looking really relaxed.
3.) 30 Mar 2025 08:16:56
He’s gone - should have just come out and been honest and would have got a lot more respect. Worst thing is he seems like such a nice lad, strange to burn a bridge in this way.
4.) 30 Mar 2025 11:49:19
@Brummy, what are you talking about? He said he wasn’t going to say anything 7ntil everything was settled and he stuck to his word. He has reached the end of his contract so there is no obligation for him to stay. His concern is to look after himself and to do what he wants to do. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that and all the tribal bs is just narrow minded cavemen who think the world owes them. Question, if you got offered a really, really good job for one of the biggest companies in the world - a job you might have dreamed of when you were @ kid, would you take it? And would you give a toss @bout what anybody else thought?
5.) 30 Mar 2025 12:55:04
I think he will be leaving too but it still isn't confirmed yet so I get why he isn't putting out any statements or anything like that.
Tbh, I think it's this constant need for information that causes so much anxiety in the fan base and gives space for "journalists" like Romano to come in and give blow-by-blow updates when in actuality, there isn't much happening at all. And these updates are then used to rile the fanbase up even more and create even more anxiety since it creates the illusion that so much is happening but there still isn't an official statement made by the parties actually involved.
6.) 30 Mar 2025 12:58:41
I read that some fans there even burning shirts for this?
We us fans asking for respect from the players to the club, but did we give them any in the first place?
7.) 30 Mar 2025 15:01:30
Hate this"if you got offered a job"comparison West, ridiculous to me! football is not a"job"to fans, people want fans to go to Anfield and sing like a lunatic yet expect them to be so sensible when it suits their argument. The reality is Trent hasn't had a"job"since he signed his first big contract. He's going, fair enough but anyone who thinks he hasn't been in the least bit sneaky about it is deluded to me.
8.) 30 Mar 2025 15:53:51
Of course it’s a job. What else is it?
9.) 30 Mar 2025 16:02:41
It’s a dream.
10.) 30 Mar 2025 16:57:18
I’d be more inclined to accept the view that “it’s just another job” in context of Arnold leaving if he hadn’t made those trite and saccharin sickly comments about how the playing for Liverpool was a dream come true and how his ambition was to be club captain. Or the supercilious remarks about winning trophies with Liverpool “meaning more”, I’d assume that he’s now going to say it was actually always his dream to play for Madrid, he always wanted to follow the lead of other snakes such as Owen or McManaman and winning trophies with them actually means more.
That said, I still feel that the people who own and run the club have absolutely acted negligently and incompetently by even letting this situation arise in the first place. Letting three of the best players at the club get close to within 6 months of their contracts expiring before making a contract offer is appalling maladministration.
11.) 30 Mar 2025 16:59:24
It’s THE dream.
12.) 30 Mar 2025 18:00:27
It’s an absolute privilege, to play football at the highest level and become a multi millionaire on the back of supporters money. All this job nonsense is ridiculous. His agents and himself have allowed Madrid to constantly leak stories for 6 months. Trent should never play again for Liverpool.
13.) 30 Mar 2025 19:24:55
It’s a job for those ‘living the dream’. They go to work and they get paid for it and 5hey have a relatively short time to achieve what they want to achieve.
I saw something a few months back that said the average length of a working career is 41 years. It’s not the case for footballers. Breaking into a team at 20 doesn’t mean you are going to be playing aged 61. More likely is a 15 year career to try and achieve what you want. And, of course your career might be in the lower tiers of the football structure, say National League North, which might not be everybody’s dream. It’s a job - gkamourous at the top end, not so much if you are in the lower leagues and just making a living.
14.) 30 Mar 2025 19:30:02
If Virg has signed new contract, then that's at least 2 yrs for trent to be captain. does trent moving indicate Virg has signed. and in the process sealed Trents move to Madrid?
15.) 30 Mar 2025 22:46:08
Trent is a snake.
16.) 31 Mar 2025 00:01:40
it's a dream for us folk who couldn't be arsed working hard enough to do that for a job.
17.) 31 Mar 2025 00:42:13
As soon as you get paid for doing it then it becomes a job. We don’t see it that way because we are supporters and we choose to do that so it’s a hobby for us. For some of us it’s a way of life so we can’t understand why any Liverpool supporter would want to play for anyone else but for him it’s a job.
I’m from Liverpool but I got offered more money to work in London 30 years ago so gave up my season ticket and moved down south. I still support Liverpool even though I can’t make it to all of the games anymore.
He might be a supporter of Liverpool FC but that doesn’t mean he has to play for us. Many Liverpool supporters play professional football but don’t play for Liverpool and if they play against Liverpool they’ll do their best to beat us. Because it’s their job.
Too much hype about a right back for me. I can’t remember any team in history worrying so much about losing a right back. He’s a good player but really not worth the angst to be honest. If he goes we’ll be just fine without him.
18.) 31 Mar 2025 10:18:39
Let’s be honest here.
Top footballers get obscene amounts of money for playing a game!
And for some it’s still never enough. They can retire at 30 and never have to work a day in their lives.
For those who don’t feel they earned enough …. Get a job like everyone else has to.
Cancer surgeon is a job
Heart surgeon is a job
Carer is a job
Shop Assistant is a job
Football is a game.
19.) 31 Mar 2025 13:10:32
Don't get the hate for Trent. How has he been underhanded? We have literally zero clue what has been said behind the scenes. We don't know that he hasn't told the club his intentions two years ago. We don't know that he has promised one thing and then changed his mind ( which people are allowed to do you know) . We don't know that he offered to sign a new deal but wanted guaranteed sale assurances that the club weren't willing to provide. We don't know jack.
And at what point exactly would Trent making an announcement that he was running down his contract be acceptable?
And the whole thing about him tarnishing his legacy? Good grief.
If Ed02 could read some of this.
20.) 31 Mar 2025 16:12:39
He’s negotiating for a contract, that’s all this is.
25 Mar 2025 02:04:44
Trent gone.
1.) 25 Mar 2025 06:44:07
Can't see that he's posted anything other than what he posted last year! Nothing new at least?
20 Mar 2025 17:43:25
Kerkez deal is very far along now. Hughes and co have been laying the groundwork for quite some time now and I’d be very shocked if this deal isn’t finalised by the end of May.
1.) 20 Mar 2025 19:33:19
Sounds good to me mate, could be this year’s Mac Allister deal by the sounds of it. Any other incomings you’re aware of us looking at?
2.) 20 Mar 2025 20:07:38
There’s some names I’ve heard of us having interest that haven’t really been mentioned by the media but it could all just be conjecture.
The Kerkez deal is something I know for a fact is far along.
3.) 20 Mar 2025 21:35:22
Well it is a rumours site mate, if you’re open to sharing I’d love to hear them, especially if they’ve not been mentioned by media.
4.) 20 Mar 2025 22:36:33
Didn't he say twice he wouldn't play for Liverpool as he's a utd fan?
5.) 20 Mar 2025 23:41:15
He didn't say that exactly, Bazzinga. He was asked if he'd be moving to us in Jan and he said he wasn't. He was asked the same question a few weeks after the window closed and he did change his time somewhat.
6.) 20 Mar 2025 23:45:26
Kerkez is probably this summers Caicedo/ Lavia/ Zubimendi. We’ll spend the summer trying to sign him, for him to say no shortly before the window closes, signs for soneone else and we’ll have no plan B.
7.) 20 Mar 2025 23:45:58
Rumours site yeah, but I’m not going to mention names that might not have anything at all come of them so then people can assume I know nothing.
FYI, Semenyo, Martinelli, Osimhen and Tosin Aradabioyo are names I’ve heard through the grapevine that we’re interested in.
8.) 20 Mar 2025 23:57:20
No Bazzinga, he didn't say that at all.
9.) 21 Mar 2025 00:41:35
I was going to say the same thing Bazz but googled it first to see if I could find the quote and I can’t find anything. Perhaps it was clickbait?
There’s a lot of articles about how it was a ‘100% done deal’ he was going to sign for Utd from 2 months ago so perhaps that’s something to do with it? Anyway, would be interested to know if there’s a source?
10.) 21 Mar 2025 01:56:13
Fair enough VG I appreciate you giving some names. And I think most people (at least the reasonable ones) understand that we probably hold interest in hundreds of players and only get even reliably linked with a fraction of them, let alone signing them. Just interesting food for thought seeing what names come up.
11.) 21 Mar 2025 07:29:25
Kerkez insists he won't join Liverpool
The Hungary international hosted a livestream on his official YouTube channel in which he responded to comments from viewers.
When one subscriber urged him to leave Bournemouth for Liverpool, Kerkez replied: "I will not go to Liverpool. For everybody listening, I will not go to Liverpool. "
12.) 21 Mar 2025 07:40:26
It would be odd for United to try and sign Kerkez seeing as they only bought a new left back about 6 weeks ago. I do wonder if there may be some mileage in this rumour.
13.) 21 Mar 2025 08:59:06
There’s so many moving parts, most of the incomings are going to depend on who leaves. Kerkez is the exception to that and is likely to happen regardless as we wouldn’t get much if anything selling either left back that we have.
Semenyo has been touted a few times, depending if likes of Diaz leaves, Osimhen similarly if Nunez goes and if he’d drop his wage expectations.
The centre mid from Wolves keeps on getting linked, and again they’re being linked with Jota, so alongside Kerkez he seems fairly likely.
The one that worries me the most is Konate leaving, as that noise is constant now with PSG and others. We’d have to pay big to replace him, and that would eat into budgets for other positions. He’d be a huge loss.
14.) 21 Mar 2025 11:00:20
this is a rumour that i actually believe. very plausible that this happens. I'd also like to read others opinion on Frimpong. He is an intriguing option in the event Trent decides to leave; well maybe even if he decides to stay. however, I'm most concerned with up front and another versatile cb.
15.) 21 Mar 2025 13:50:27
Victor. please give it a rest hey. We know you hate Liverpool but come on.
16.) 21 Mar 2025 15:19:33
Didn't Manc sign a left back in Patrick Dorgu already? I think Kerkez deal is a possibility. Was it not Carragher (not sure) that was a childhood Blue nose fan? Anyways, I hope his international captain can do a job there for us.
17.) 21 Mar 2025 15:28:33
I'd be shocked if the deal happened, can't see it unfortunately.
18.) 21 Mar 2025 15:46:49
He is not good enough and would be a barn fire of a signing not really very positive tbh. Wow we are definitely going to be going down a level in the next few seasons if he is the best we can hope for. I am now officially worried where we are going now.
19.) 21 Mar 2025 15:47:44
Konate is a terrible defender and easily replaceable in fact I would feel better without him in the team Liability is his middle name.
20.) 21 Mar 2025 22:09:35
That's Bulls**t lad. He's still young. My feeling is he is ACE but very prone to injury. He throws himself about to much. anothe season alongside VVD will work wonders for him. Try to keep you kit clean!
21.) 22 Mar 2025 03:31:59
Exactly how do you expect to be taken seriously saying konate is terrible and easily replaceable?
22.) 22 Mar 2025 08:27:02
Quality scout spout.

Anyone else getting extremely uncomfortable with the amount of “one hand on the title” talk at the moment? Sure, we played a great game today, and we’re in a great position, but there is SO much more football left to play.
Football is a mad game and anything can change in a week. We are not the title winners until the fat lady sings.
1.) 24 Feb 2025 06:15:58
I’m saying both hands are on it now. ??.
2.) 24 Feb 2025 06:59:43
Try looking at it through this lens. If the boot was on the other foot, would you still be thinking we had a chance? I would hope, but would be resigned to it being over.
3.) 24 Feb 2025 08:14:38
Media hype / either we win and they say we told you so or we lose and they create the classic bottlers stories.
Build em up knock em down. As it ever was.
4.) 24 Feb 2025 08:15:44
Not really. In the end it doesn’t really matter as long as it doesn’t filter through to the lads.
Today’s performance kinda goes to show that the boys need to carry this mentality against other teams. The application was very good vs City when against other teams we’ve perhaps been off it 5% or so.
5.) 24 Feb 2025 08:24:07
11 clear with 11 to play, or 8 if arsenal win their game in hand is a huge advantage. And for me it has to be classed as one hand on it. However, that doesn’t mean it’s done, we have to get the job done and the sooner the better for my heart!
For Arsenal to win it from here they need to win all their games and hope we implode. They had the biggest opportunity on the weekend to put huge pressure on us and they blew it. Up to this point the most games they’ve won in a row in the league is 3. That doesn’t strike me as a team who can now go and string 12 together. I expect another tough game for them on Wednesday too.
However, our next three games our all at home. This is now a huge opportunity to put our foot down and take all hope away from them.
6.) 24 Feb 2025 08:45:46
OP, it's all media hype and there's nothing you can do to stop that. These media people couldn't be arsed if we won the title. Same goes for the rival fans. They just say it in hope that something happens to derail us and they can come back and gloat about it.
As for us, our boys and the manager know what time it is so as long as that is there and they continue to stay humble (pun intended), focused and take it one game at a time, the media hype can continue. Again, it's not like you nor I can do anything about it.
7.) 24 Feb 2025 09:43:47
I reckon a lot of the media and rival fans think we have it in the bag. It's understandable.
It's not some conspiracy against us so that they can gloat if it doesn't happen.
8.) 24 Feb 2025 10:25:13
It's far from done. No doubt about it. But as said above, a couple of fingers, or a hand, are on it for sure.
But what I really want is to hear from the people who said we'd finish 3rd or 4th. I miss you guys. ?.
12 Feb 2025 10:31:31
Need 3 points or nothing tonight. Anything less invites Arsenal too close and blows the title race open.
Gonna be our toughest game of the season for sure. Last Derby at Goodison, Blues are going to be absolutely bouncing. The lads need to weather the storm.
1.) 12 Feb 2025 11:13:22
Going 9 points clear with only 14 games to play (including Arsenal coming to Anfield) would be a crushing blow for them mentally. With the Villa game also being rescheduled we actually have a chance to put in a 12 point gap as well, although they'll then have the game in hand. If we win the next 5 league games in this 15 day window, the title is as good as ours in my opinion. Huge ask, but this team has shown they're capable.
2.) 12 Feb 2025 11:26:42
We should win. Just go thru our players compared to theirs! It really is no contest, so again it comes down to desire and tactics. Match them on that a we walk away with a comfortable 3 points. I’m expecting Slot to fire the players up but not so much that someone does something stupid. We are great team, they are average at best.
3.) 12 Feb 2025 11:33:15
For me, anything other than a loss tonight is a good result.
7 points clear with 14 to play is a fantastic lead to have and another tough away day off the list.
9 is obviously the desired result and the impact on Arsenal would hopefully be them switching their minds to the CL.
But I think if someone offered me a point and no injuries right now I'd probably take it.
One last point is everyone is presuming pressure is on us, but the very fact that it's the last derby will hold some weight for those players, even more so now relegation is unlikely. This is a cup final to them, similar to United. I'm just glad it's not dyche in charge.
4.) 12 Feb 2025 12:00:56
I don’t think you can argue with that Mk.
It’s going to be a tough 5 games mind.
Everton are going to try and make this a fight then Wolves always seem to up their game against us and Villa are arguably one of the best sides in Europe.
City and Newcastle to follow. What a time to be a Liverpool fan.
5.) 12 Feb 2025 12:45:23
I keep saying the same thing, WYred. Anything other than a loss is fine with me. Why? Everton are going to make it very hard for us and since it is a derby and we are the better team and should win, it is still a derby and crazy things can happen and have happened in the past to recent past.
We all want to win and so do Slot and the players and if we do what we are supposed to do, we should come out on top BUT we all know footie ain't built that way and neither is the outcome. As for pressure, both teams will have pressure for diff. reasons.
Btw, I hope what MKS said comes to pass.
15 Jan 2025 18:38:13
Regarding Tsimikas, I firmly believe the lad gets a lot of stick for reasons unknown. This whole “we need a LB to replace Robbo because Tsimikas can’t” is total rubbish.
He’s a big game player. He delivers in moments where he needs to, such as last night, league cup etc. Agile, plays with his heart on his sleeve and for the badge. The lads bailed us out of so many poor results and all I ever hear is how sub par he is from some reds. Aside from his injury problems, he’s a spot on LB who gets into most PL sides. People just love to jump on a bandwagon of hate whenever a result doesn’t go a certain way and Tsimikas is a victim of that way too often.
1.) 15 Jan 2025 19:52:19
Vic, he came on and took a decent corner and then did ok. But he’ll never be as good as a prime Robbo. Too lightweight, unpredictable and tends to switch off. Love the fella but not the answer for any team with Prem and Champs league aspirations.
2.) 15 Jan 2025 19:52:26
Should be fresh. Robbed a living sat on bench with us haha. Don't know what your watching. Doesn't get in many prem teams sorry. When he first signed his delivery was superb, unfortunately it didn't last. Don't hate him but wasn't good enough to challenge robbo, he might be now because either robbo can't get the role slot has put on him, but his corners and crosses are getting real bad, but then so have trent to be honest. Need a replacement bringing in for me.
3.) 15 Jan 2025 21:52:34
There was no left back in the prem who could challenge Robbo in his pomp so can’t hold that against him.
4.) 15 Jan 2025 22:22:43
Tsimikas would struggle to cement a spot down in most prem teams, average at best. Robertson is on the way down, we need a top class signing at left back.
5.) 16 Jan 2025 01:27:49
Robbed a living? That's nice.
He came and he tried and I'll remember him for scoring the winning penalty in the FA Cup final shootout against Chelsea. Even if he did get paid for it.
I still remember celebrating that night! Well, some of it.
6.) 16 Jan 2025 02:33:31
On the contrary, I would argue that Tsimikas would get into at least half the teams that are currently in the PL. His only issue was that he was playing back up to arguably the best LB in the league at that time and Klopp wasn't really a fan of rotating teams so he played very little. But the little that he did play showed that he had quality, to the point that many on here at that time were claiming that he was the second best LB in the league after Robertson. He also did seem to get injured at inopportune moments in recent times so never had the chance to claim the LB position as his own.
There is a dearth of good quality lbs at the moment though. The fact that all the top teams are looking at the same players, namely Kerkez and Ait Nouri, says it all really.
7.) 16 Jan 2025 03:45:03
Robbo should be sold, he's on fairly high wages and is a liability.
8.) 16 Jan 2025 15:43:35
Tsimikas was the best backup left back In the league for the best left back in the world. Problem is now he’s our best left back and there’s probably 10 better left backs in the premier league alone.
{Ed025's Note - best left back in the world??, he was good mate but hardly Leighton Baines good ffs..

We hold an interest in Cherki but nothing concrete in terms of movement.
As for Zubimendi, that ship has sailed. I’d be very surprised if any negotiations for a deal are revived, especially considering he has already agreed personal terms with Arsenal.

Tsimikas quality this season is not even comparable to the stinker of a campaign Robbo has had.
Tsimikas to start all day for me.
08 Feb 2025 00:10:12
Better a mistake to be made periodically than a title to be lost to a goal which never should count, because it’s not against the rules of the game.
If ref mishaps like Tottenham last year for example are the price to pay for some more fairness in the long run, then so be it.
29 Jan 2025 18:45:59
In the last year and a half we have made 6 signings and that’s not including the youth team. I genuinely think people just like the concept of the club spending money for no reason other than excitement of a new face.
Szoboszlai, Endo, Gravy and MacAllister were all bought in the summer of 2023. Mamardashvili bought in the summer of 2024 along with Chiesa. The squad right now is firing on all cylinders, best team in Europe. Yet people want more flashy signings for what reason exactly?
If slot and co say they’re strengthening in the summer, trust the process. The process so far has us on course to win the league.
