Wakka wakka.

2.) 09 Jun 2025 20:39:58
Robbo my friend. You’re either having us all on (which is easy to do considering me and a few are checking the world wide interweb for updates every 30 minutes) or you’re an absolute legend who’s going to make our night. Which one is it lad?

In the words of Carra.

Ta.

3.) 09 Jun 2025 20:55:21
Robbo
Keep up the good work mate
Appreciated. Worse case we get bad jokes from Ed025. Takes his mind off Everton I suppose ha.

{Ed025's Note - my mind is always on Everton Gazza, and mark my words yours will be next season my friend...be afraid...be very afraid.. :)

4.) 09 Jun 2025 21:29:41
Every year we hear the same thing.

5.) 09 Jun 2025 21:02:50
Strange that Wirtz would be flying in for a medical when there has been no confirmation of the two clubs agreeing a fee.

6.) 09 Jun 2025 21:26:36
Yer right ed. Next season will be ours. Cheers for the support.

{Ed025's Note - dont say i didn,t warn you AOE.. :)

7.) 09 Jun 2025 21:26:57
Ed025, my old friend, ease up on the recreational accoutrements that you are taking. Your hallucinations keep getting worse. ?.

{Ed025's Note - Everton is my only Drug ArAy...and yes im an addict mate.. :)

8.) 09 Jun 2025 22:25:33
I love this rumour site. have done for years. proper old skool rumours.

9.) 09 Jun 2025 22:41:06
I’m sure they have groups for that Ed.

‘My name is Ed25 and I’m an Evertonaholic. It’s been 30 years since I last saw a trophy. ’.

{Ed025's Note - i like that Robbo..

10.) 09 Jun 2025 22:41:20
U will win a cup nxt season edd25.the laws of averages are with u mate ?.

{Ed025's Note - its the league we are after BK.. :)

11.) 09 Jun 2025 22:56:27
I am not happy we are going through this long wait for a player to sign a deal with that much money involved. I pray he eventually arrived to improve our team.

12.) 09 Jun 2025 23:19:38
I thought I read earlier that he was taking a boat.

13.) 09 Jun 2025 23:57:45
League Cup?

14.) 10 Jun 2025 01:50:26
Stone, was it Bergkamp that used to have a fear of flying and would have to take a boat to European matches? One of my favorite players of all time, but I thought he had a big fear of flying.

15.) 10 Jun 2025 07:05:14
Yeah it was bergkamp.

16.) 10 Jun 2025 07:20:24
It was Bergkamp yes, I think they needed to drug is milk like B. A Baracus!

17.) 10 Jun 2025 14:29:55
So robbo was talking nonsense?
I don’t check the site as much as most but I see there a 3 new maccas now.
Not to tell folk to not post rumours but readers need to stop falling for folk who post with blunt authority.

Have I missed something, has there been any credibility around the new messiahs or is it just the blunt statement of fact that makes people wet them selves?

18.) 10 Jun 2025 15:20:22
Gorzee there are a couple who have gotten some stuff right like Akira, Carra and Thefields, assume those are the three you're talking about?

KaiserChief accused them of lying (about the meeting with Inter and Martinez) - although no source given in disproving them.

It does seem Robbo was talking nonsense here, which is quite funny tbf making up a delay for this fictional flight.
But even VictorGoddamn who was reporting yesterday that Wirtz would not be flying in, he has been wrong before when he claimed Wirtz would be staying in Germany right before it was announced he chose Liverpool.

Basically not sure how much credibility anyone has anymore, just important to remember that it's all just a bit of fun, and that no matter how credible someone has been, things can change quickly and they can always get things wrong.

19.) 10 Jun 2025 16:38:04
No robbo has absolutely zero credibility and hopefully that finishes him posting lies from now on. It remains to be seen about the others.

20.) 10 Jun 2025 09:55:24
Either Ed025 has been on the special sauce for breakfast! Or an escapee from a sensible establishment for the afflicted is running his account ? I'm concerned for your safety Ed025.

{Ed025's Note - dont worry about me SM, im as fit as a butchers cat mate.. :)

21.) 10 Jun 2025 10:49:54
Do you still get cups with Easter eggs ed 25? Not seen them in a while?.

{Ed025's Note - ours will be made of Sterling Silver P1..

22.) 10 Jun 2025 18:09:59
I personally don't think anyone on here has an effing clue to be honest.
Still enjoy coming on for the read and to keep up as things do break on here.

I just don’t think any of the messiahs currently or past have ever broken anything that wasn’t common knowledge.
Everyone can be right occasionally with the amount of stuff thrown about.

Not to slate Carra but as an example, he pops up out of no where, makes some assertions on things that were already known to a point and just because of the matter of fact writing style and the name, S was collectively lost.

Unless i've missed something that means I should pay this particular poster any more reverence than anyone else?

Wirtz scheduled to be picked up from JLA tonight at 8:30pm to complete his medical over the next days.

RobboLFC

1.) 09 Jun 2025 15:08:52
You sure it's not from the Ferry Port, Robbo?

2.) 09 Jun 2025 15:16:58
We spent so much on the fee that we've had to fly him over on EasyJet?

3.) 09 Jun 2025 15:21:55
Future captain 100%.

{Ed025's Note - hmmm, not kicked a ball yet Magico..

4.) 09 Jun 2025 15:26:14
So many mixed reports, but still appreciate the info. I can’t relax until it’s over the line, sealed and delivered. I might just switch off from checking every few hours until tomorrow’s deadline. (Despite the fact that the windows is re-opening) .

5.) 09 Jun 2025 16:48:02
Future captain………. is he flying the plane?

6.) 09 Jun 2025 16:59:13
Can't see that being true. The only private flights scheduled to arrive at JLA this evening is from Spain. There is a private flight arriving from Hof in Germany tomorrow but that's nowhere near Leverkusen or Stuttgart.

7.) 09 Jun 2025 18:42:53
If he signs he'll be here for years, and will be the new stevie g and become captain 1 day I feel. Hopefully anyway, need a new general.

8.) 09 Jun 2025 20:06:17
That flight take off okay?

08 Jun 2025 20:11:44
Wirtz will be flying into Liverpool tomorrow to undergo his 1st part of his medical, Liverpool hope it to be all sealed and signed by Tuesday/ Wednesday €140m package confirmed.

RobboLFC

1.) 08 Jun 2025 20:29:10
Just heard Osimhens just pulled out of Al Hilal deal (£34 million a year ???) so they’re now focusing back to Darwin ????!

2.) 08 Jun 2025 20:30:06
Window shuts at 7pm Tuesday if Iam not mistaken so hopefully medical tomorrow and then paperwork done by Tuesday.

3.) 08 Jun 2025 20:51:43
Makes no odds if we sign him before the window closes, opens again soon and we're not playing in the world club championships.

4.) 08 Jun 2025 20:53:25
That’s only for registration in the first window, next one is open next week and deals can be agreed in the break, just not registered. For us mere mortals, I’m treating it as the window being open throughout.

5.) 08 Jun 2025 21:08:54
It would be nice if it was all done and registered within the first window. If indeed the 1st part of his medical is scheduled for Tuesday then it’s doable. But I guess we won’t be in a rush and just announce it at the start of the 2nd window if we go over the deadline.

6.) 08 Jun 2025 21:42:36
I think both windows come under different PSR years despite only being days apart.

7.) 08 Jun 2025 22:24:45
Should I spend the day outside the Priory in Wavertree and give updates?

8.) 08 Jun 2025 22:27:49
I think that is correct @JK. I think iI saw it mentioned somewhere a few days ago.

9.) 08 Jun 2025 22:34:58
Jk yeah they do so would be good to sign him before this one closes with what we did last summer with and this window think all that would cover his psr with all the profit we made from home grown players.

10.) 09 Jun 2025 13:58:49
Sorry to blow your bubble JK23 but our club end of accounting period (regarding PSR) for 2024/ 2025 season is 31st of May. We didn't move it to end of June like most of the other PL clubs. So all deals after this is under new accounting period. You can read an article posted 4 days ago by Athletic on it, called PSR premier League Club Risk written by Chris Weatherspoon.

06 Jun 2025 18:37:40
Wirtz medical has been penciled for Wednesday, Wirtz Wednesday?

RobboLFC

1.) 06 Jun 2025 19:00:52
So we are not signing him in the mini window. Few more anxious weeks so if that's the case.

2.) 06 Jun 2025 19:04:14
That would be after the current transfer window….

3.) 06 Jun 2025 20:01:03
Isn't main window openning on 16th June? So not exactly end of the world stuff if we miss this deadline.

4.) 07 Jun 2025 07:28:41
If so, there’s been Wirtz Wednesdays.

{Ed078's Note - facepalm

02 Jun 2025 20:15:51
Osmehin is the one Liverpool want. In the works.

RobboLFC

1.) 02 Jun 2025 21:16:26
What about wages and Saudi, Robbo? Seems that only Saudi can pay the wages he appears to want.

2.) 02 Jun 2025 21:44:28
Ed001 - if you are about mate, what are your thoughts on Osimhen? I've only seen highlights and that's not the best way to judge a player.
Is he a good fit for the PL?
Would he fit in to our system?
Does he work hard enough without the ball?
Has he still got it after stepping down for a season?

3.) 02 Jun 2025 21:48:33
I’m sure we can’t and won’t compete with Saudi in terms of salary but Osimhen has said many times that he wants the premier league and wants to play at the highest level, guess if we are in for him we will see what is more important to the player! My bet is if Liverpool go for Osimhen then he will join but I’m not sure we are in fact in for him.

4.) 02 Jun 2025 21:42:27
No way - he is old and greedy! No need to do bad business.

5.) 02 Jun 2025 21:44:28

{Ed001's Note - I am not convinced he is consistent enough, though he is big and strong, particularly in the air, which would be extremely useful in English footie. The problem is his first touch, sometimes it can be sublime, but it can often be poor and that is a worry in a league where players will close down quicker than they do in Italy or Turkey. He won't get the time to recover a poor touch as often.}

6.) 02 Jun 2025 22:03:54
I get the “old” bit as he’s over 25 (just) but why would you say he’s greedy, Red Apple?

7.) 02 Jun 2025 22:47:35
Benteke v2.0

Overrated.

8.) 02 Jun 2025 22:22:15
Because people keep putting stuff on here that he wants £400k a week after tax, don’t they @Vik? A number which has no evidence of proof being put forward as fact.

9.) 02 Jun 2025 22:22:42
25- about to enter into his prime years.

AND whatever anyone says, selling Nunez will cover the fee, and selling Jota and Fede too means we easily cover his wages.

10.) 02 Jun 2025 22:36:00
He's off to Saudi £££.

11.) 02 Jun 2025 22:58:25
You can’t say he’s too old, 24-26 is probably the perfect age for getting a player in his prime. Agree with Ed about his first touch, it’s as bad as Nunez, he’s not the most composed if he’s got time to think either, then there is his wage demands…. I think he’s off to Saudi,

12.) 02 Jun 2025 23:46:42
Maybe a year away from the top leagues has made him reevaluate a bit? Might have thought someone would pay it, but realised he might have to ‘sacrifice’ a little to play at the top.

13.) 02 Jun 2025 23:51:37
I’m with Ron. Benteke mk2.

14.) 03 Jun 2025 00:14:02
Osimhen is a hard worker. He hustles to win ball back from opponent. He is a real pain in the ass for defenders. He earns £288k currently. The big wage is the major factor. I doubt if LFC would sign him and wirtz on the same transfer window.

15.) 03 Jun 2025 03:59:55
Ed001, saw yuor comments on Osimhen.
I think you are very spot on, on what is required to be a success.

Would like to ask, apart from Ishak, who else would you fancy.
I have seen (albeit all just highlights) of Sesko, and Ekitike, I am not really impressed.

{Ed001's Note - Lautaro Martinez would be great.}

16.) 03 Jun 2025 04:29:57
speaking of touch, I was watching a video of Drogba and oh boy that guy had a great first touch. The way he'd take a long ball especially under pressure, wow!

With Osimhen, I'd be all over this signing. the guy is a goal scorer.

17.) 03 Jun 2025 06:35:42
Drogba didn’t actually score many.

18.) 03 Jun 2025 07:36:02
Drogba didn't do badly, Marty; especially in a Mourinho side.
I'm sure he was leading goalscorer one season.

{Ed078's Note - that goal where he controlled it on his chest and turned and smashed it past Reina was a sight to behold.

19.) 03 Jun 2025 08:34:35
Osimhen is my country man and we adore him here in NIGERIA. Ed01 is right, quite inconsistent with his first touch but when its on, it's exciting to watch him. His heading ability and physical presence in the box is one area of his strength but with him, we will not lose the work rate of possessed Nunez as he can graft, if needed. He's easily knows where the back of the net is ultimately. Knowing where he's from, he's also a very grateful guy for what football have given to him and have been pretty helpful to locals here in Nigeria. I don't want this transfer cos I won't be able to stand the pelters he will get on here, should things not work as expected.

What we love about him is that he's a winner to the core and a miserable sod, when he loses a match. He does have a tendency to lose his temper but not violent alas Cunha (towards the end of last season) or early days Nunez but he could lose it, if he feels undermined or racially abused (it's common with guys born and bred in LAGOS) unlike Jay Jay Okocha, who would rather dribble - revenge the opposition. I however think that with Wirtz, Osimhen can make Isaks impact for us. Honestly, I'm torn on this one. If true, I would love it but if not, I won't begrudge as it will be a relief.
