Hi Ed02, hope you are well- just wondering if we still might have interest in Neushaus or has that passed? Havent seen him mentioned on here in awhile or anywhere (having a bad season maybe?). I think we all agree that we need a midfielder this summer. Who would you like to see come in? Laimer? Bissouma?

Looks like TAA could join Bradley and Gomez on the sidelines. Could mean Quansah and Konate covering both the RB and RCB spots for a few weeks. International break coming at a good time. I wonder how we will get alone without a natural RB or if Ibou picks up something (almost seems overdue)

yea, I didn't see Quansah doing anything wrong last night
on another day, his header goes in, we win, he becomes hero for the moment
on an even better day, Salah took his 2 chances, 3-0 up in tie, before we had the mistake to concede, Jota, finishes his header, 4-1 in the tie before half time, Endo comes on and seal the deal. but of course, none of that happened
as things stand, it'll probably be Quansah at RB and Konate / Endo at CB. not the worst really
just hope we rest up, win the EFL cup, and return from internationals to wrap the league up. it did still be a good season
do we need to strengthen the squad? for sure, and i am hoping Ward and Hughes starts waking up for those renewals and new recruitment
as to this new ucl format? still trying to make sense of it. on one hand you could say it is intended to reward the performers of the league phase to have lesser games and better draws, and maybe it did, but our experience was otherwise as we somehow ended up facing psg (a very strong team that didn't do as well in league phase), while some others face, in all objectivity, psv, brugge, which are evidently the weaker teams. but 120mins and can't score at home, this is entirely on us that we didn't deserve to go through.

The lad actually played well, especially when you consider the calibre of the team we were up against. Some people come prepared for a match with set opinions and then make comments that reflect the set opinions rather than what actually happened during the match.
