Reece James is a much better player than Trent, aside from crossing Trent has nothing, and a terrible defender contrary to ed 001 opinion.

Peteprice

{Ed0666's Note - I’m just gonna put you down as a troll or an idiot or probably both of you think that’s true.

1.) 25 Mar 2021 20:26:25
Hi Harry.

2.) 25 Mar 2021 20:27:43
You have seen what TAA had done in the last couple of years haven't you?

Was it Cafu who said he is the best wing back in the world?

Ill take his his opinion over yours

Reece James. honestly.

{Ed001's Note - some people shouldn't be allowed near a keyboard....}

3.) 25 Mar 2021 21:36:18
Tbf I love Trent but Reece James is very very good as well. Powerful, can beat a man and has great delivery. Wouldn’t have him over Trent but definitely over wan Bissaka or Walker.

{Ed077's Note - AW-B is a different kind of RB than TAA or Reece James.}

4.) 25 Mar 2021 21:39:54
Southgate must have it wrong then. Not saying Trent is a bad player just very over rated and a poor defender, he has to work hard to improve and not think he's made it already.

{Ed077's Note - When did Southgate become the highest opinion or the greatest mind in football?}

5.) 25 Mar 2021 22:39:04
LOL Pete Price 100% troll 100% idiot and taking a wild guess a Chelsea fan that got bored and drunk so jumped on here.

Give ya head a wobble and stop being bitter. Made me laugh though lol.

6.) 25 Mar 2021 23:32:31
He’s a troll, judging by the username an evertonian troll, as i’m not sure harry would know who Pete Price is.

7.) 26 Mar 2021 03:34:38
Who is Reece James? so far he hasn't won anything 😂😂😂wasn't that how players were judged? 😂😂😂 actually it's bs? Southgate didn't give trent minutes at all😂😂😂he shd have played for some other country 😂😂😂.

8.) 26 Mar 2021 04:58:24
Hello OP, its San Marino! Arat Housseini may have torn them apart (lol) but seriously are you for real?

{Ed001's Note - the thing is Reece James is a far worse defender than Trent.}

9.) 26 Mar 2021 08:25:50
Clearly, Peteprice is a Chelsea troll. Out here in Nigeria, they (Chelsea fans) call all their players world class. Mendy they say "is the best thing since sliced bread" and Jorginho is miles ahead of Jordan Henderson. Unfortunately, I'm surrounded by a cloud of them including my Bae. Best solution = ignore them💯.

10.) 26 Mar 2021 10:33:22
Southgate is such a plank that he makes Tim Sherwood look like Rinus Michels. And that takes some doing.

11.) 26 Mar 2021 10:51:08
It was laughable when op said James was better than trent but then to back it up by saying the name Southgate well that’s a different level of bollocks! Jog on PP.

12.) 26 Mar 2021 12:19:02
Spot on, Ed01. I thought I was the only one who clocked it. Reece James is terrible defensively one on one and his crossing ability is woeful. Better defender than Trent? Laughable. I think the Chelsea fan boys have infested SM (and here clearly) cos they started this whole useless comparison cos they know that Reece or AWB would do well to even come near what TAA had already accomplished as a teenager.

Cos they can't bash him for his accomplishments (as if defending had nothing to do with reaching those heights), they come up with this rubbish of "he can't defend". I mean, like he did when he shut down Neto from Wolves? Sane vs City at 19? Coutinho vs Barcelona n countless others? Again when Reece or AWB have been voted the best RB in Europe and in the PL (twice in a row), they can come chat to me.

As for Peteprice, you know what they say about trolls? NEVER feed them.

As for Tsalach, How you dey?

13.) 26 Mar 2021 13:36:55
Sorry for having an opinion.

14.) 26 Mar 2021 14:13:54
Everyone's entitled to an opinion.

However, if you post it on an open forum, and its not a particularly popular or sensible one, expect to get some 'push back' :D

If you want my tuppence'orth, Reece James looks like a good prospect.

TAA is already knocking on the door of top 3 RBs in the world and he is still developing.

15.) 26 Mar 2021 17:15:50
Apology accepted Peteprice.

Remember not to have an opinion again, please.

16.) 26 Mar 2021 20:27:04
Something red you legend! I said that when I read his post, then I scrolled down to see yours and I went spot on lad! There are things that are blasphemous to say and comparison such as these is what is responsible for the current state of Jordan Ibe. Reece is a decent prospect, why not give him time to develop before the "over the roof" hype? Shocking really. Smh.

Jota at number nine is the way forward, fab was excellent in the 6.

Peteprice

1.) 11 Mar 2021 11:18:31
Let’s not go overboard after last night, excellent though it was.
We played similarly well in the first leg, remember, and look what happened in the PL after that?
Positives are that the CBs look more comfortable but, again, despite all the gushing praise (especially for Phillips) remember that they’re both newcomers and haven’t been so deeply analysed yet. We know how good the PL are at this aspect of the game now.
Fabinho was awesome, and that’s massive for freeing other people up as has been said. Both Thiago and Wijnaldum looked so much better for it too.
Having said all that, I do feel 100% better about the team, football and life in general this morning now 😃.

2.) 11 Mar 2021 12:16:13
I disagree Juicer. In the first leg it felt like we nicked it. They created far better chances, but we capitalised on 2 huge defensive errors.

Last night we dominated. They had 2 or 3 half chances despite throwing the kitchen sink at it. Phillips and Kabak have started 2 games together and we've not let in a goal. Long may that continue.

Additionally though, the attack was dynamic again. Players inter changing made it hard to track runners but more importantly Jota brings a direct approach and willingness to get the shot away. It could've been another European 7-0 under Klopp last night and it wouldn't have flattered us.

The most pleasing thing of all was Fabinho back in midfield. He is the best in the world in that holding role. He must've won back possession close to 10 times. Having a monster like that in midfield terrifies the opposition, but also encourages everyone around them.

Fingers crossed for another famous night in Istanbul come the Summer.

3.) 11 Mar 2021 12:21:32
I think it’s a huge result not just in terms of confidence, but in that we actually looked like liverpool again. Having a fit and fresh Jota up front and Fabinho back in midfield has made all the difference, it’s opened so many different avenues that allows all of the other players to play better, the lubricant on the cogs if you will. A small difference on paper that makes for huge improvements in practice. Also means we can actually start to rest some of our knackered players who haven’t been in a position to be dropped until now, such as Robertson and Mane. Even Wijnaldum played well, although he still has a hell of a lot to do to make up for his performances of late and i wouldn’t be surprised if he turned back into his spectral form in the next game.

All that is required is for Jurgen to learn from this and leave Fabinho and the centre backs alone, and we might actually pick up some points again.

4.) 11 Mar 2021 12:33:41
Spot on, Juicer. We won a game with a solid performance. We can be happy with that w/ o Nothing to hooting and hollering or anything like that, IMO. We are by no means out of the woods lyet.

5.) 11 Mar 2021 16:09:05
But what really baffles me is that Klopp has already known all this (he surely noticed the midfield being wide open after Fabinho was moved back) and yet has persisted in using Fabinho in midfield despite having brought in Kabak and Davies in January. Does he place the likes of Fulham, Brighton, Burnley et al at a higher risk level than RBL Leipzig? I don't get it.

6.) 11 Mar 2021 16:20:33
Aray i think Klopps thinking mate would have been Fab was at the back for Oct, Nov and Dec and we were top. No doubts he didn't think that the from would fall off the cliff like it has and we would beat the next team albeit Fab was injured for a lot of it. So he might have even thought Fab back at the back would solve the issue. Hopefully Fab stays in midfield now.

7.) 11 Mar 2021 17:21:23
I hope so too. Leave Fabinho in midfield and let the CBs learn the hard way to handle their issues. Sink or swim. We've been sinking in the league anyway.

Anyone think Alison has been poor since lockdown? Against Leeds 3 of the goals were easy saves. I think he needs to step his game up as does vvd.

Peteprice

1.) 17 Sep 2020 23:06:59
Easy saves against Leeds? You may want to rewatch that match.

2.) 17 Sep 2020 23:27:33
Said the exact same here Saturday night. Was told that he couldn't be faulted for any of the 3. First season he stops the 1st and 3rd for me.

3.) 18 Sep 2020 02:01:01
Goalkeepers, even Allison, need match practice to gain sharpness - few players in the opening games looked fit enough - Robbo and Salah for us. Try not to draw too many conclusions from opening games. No surprise to see mistakes. In a month he may indeed save either or those.

4.) 18 Sep 2020 08:04:48
I’m a massive Allison fan but there’s a pic circling on social media of him in a tight yellow training top and he looks like he’s put on a lot of weight around the belly area. I couldn’t work our if it was a photoshop or real pic as it’s not noticeable when he’s got the keeper jersey on. Anyone else seen such pic.

5.) 18 Sep 2020 08:51:57
OP, Nothing to see here, IMO. If your defence is all over the shop in front of you and you are lacking match sharpness (hence, mental sharpness) due to a shortened preseason (something you need as a GK), what were you expecting?

Leeds had three shots on target and the quality of the goals speak for themselves so I think is this a dig out of Allison? I don't know but that is what it looks like.

Our boys need to be fit and sharp and this will take time so chill out and let things play out instead of digging people out for no reason, IMO.

6.) 18 Sep 2020 10:20:10
All players need time to get back up to speed after a break but some get there quicker than others and it’s more noticeable in some positions than others. I’ve always thought Alisson, Fabinho, VVD and Firmino need more time and maybe it’s because they are the core of the team.

If possible I'd love to hear Ed01 and 02s opinion on corona virus and this agenda led by gates and his pro vaccine agenda.

Personally it makes me sick how ignorant people are and just believe anything these politicians or news media tell them to.

Peteprice

{Ed002's Note - The problem is that we just don't know. Bill Gates will have taken advice from specialists and respected scientists. The Government in the UK are running scared due to pressures to be stupid and take advice from President Cummings and get given advice, some of which the heed, from the sciences. The Government in the US survives because the white evangelicals and much of the jobless midwest who will help to MAGA. This really needs to go to the conspiracy site.}

1.) 10 May 2020 17:59:10
Surely these scientists are all a part of this agenda too?

2.) 10 May 2020 20:10:11
Trust me, governments actually operate in a fairly chaotic fashion. Saying someone has a pro vaccine agenda is the same as saying someone has an anti disease agenda. Obviously nothing is 100% safe, there will be negative reactions, but would you rather a few dozen severe negative reactions or tens of thousands continuing to die from disease. The British government is a joke but they have a huge mandate so this idea that all of this is to control the people is a bit strange. I'd be more worried about what they want to do to your NHS than any Bill Gates conspiracy theories.

3.) 11 May 2020 08:35:01
Its surprising in this day and age people still argue against vaccines. I mean let's just go back to the days when people would die in the millions from polio and smallpox.

4.) 11 May 2020 12:47:03
I thought Bill Gates was a knights templar half-lizard from the Pliaedean star system. That’s what most conspiracy theorists are telling us sheep. He’s pro-vaccines because he gets a cut of sales and he needs a few bob to get his car through the MOT. Obviously.

5.) 11 May 2020 19:58:58
Not trying to revive any conspiracy theory whatsoever, but do some research into history instead of just looking at what's in front of your face. See who Bill Gates' father worked for, what IBM's role was in Poland in WWII, and who his mother worked for also. Then connect the dots. And some things will become clearer.

6.) 11 May 2020 22:37:19
Thank you aray!

Amazing how close minded people are, all probably have smart phones yet won’t bother to research at all and blindly believe what these evil corporations tell them. The jokes on you lads mocking us as wild conspiracy theorists.

{Ed033's Note - People can go to our conspiracy site if they want to.
