Not sure If anyone has seen but after lol the abuse to utd about their leaky roof ours is now leaking.
Also apparently big punch up in the changing room. Vvd had to step in and calm it all down.

1.) 06 Jan 2025 22:36:37
There's has been leaking on and off since 2012.

I bet we won't take 12 years to fix ours.

2.) 07 Jan 2025 01:16:45
Wasn’t it only on the away fans anyway? I’d leave it a while if it was.

3.) 07 Jan 2025 07:26:01
Do people really believe this kind of things? I mean if we were fighting for relegation than I would understand, but we were 6 points clear on top of the the league with a game in hand.

4.) 07 Jan 2025 09:03:58
It wasn’t leaking. The pouring rain was running off the roof - it’s called gravity!

5.) 07 Jan 2025 09:53:11
It was reserved for manU fans.

6.) 07 Jan 2025 10:06:09
1jj spot on mate.

But in fairness to Utd fans they’ve taken their opportunity well there for some banter back.

We love to give it so we have to take it on the chin as well.

7.) 07 Jan 2025 10:29:58
To be honest, United are in no place to talk as not only does the roof leak at old Trafford, there’s sewage overflowing from the bogs there which rears its head from time to time (just like the old Wembley) .

8.) 07 Jan 2025 12:48:04
I can tell you there’s a leak in the kop roof for a fact. Because I’ve stood under it ?.

9.) 07 Jan 2025 18:51:29
The roof stuff is nonsense but the dressing room square up really wouldn't suprise me. Trent was nothing short of awful and didn't look interested. Maybe it was an official game but it's difficult not to put it down to losing focus considering how good he has been before the turn of the year. If it's even remotely true, and I hope to god it isn't, then I would expect him to be sold this month. The last thing we need is a squad breakdown because of one player. The club will endure with or without any single players regardless of who they are.

10.) 07 Jan 2025 19:01:43
I’m not bothered about a leaky roof it’s the leaky right side of the defence I’d rather have sorted.

11.) 08 Jan 2025 13:19:38
The roof was definitely leaking, it started dripping right on my head just before little rat boy scored their first goal like a bad omen! Also anyone wanting Elon Musk anywhere near the club needs looking at, trying to buy success bad enough but doing it via some complete weirdo with the personality of a 14 year old virgin that spends too much time on the internet is even worse. I genuinely would give up my ticket so people like 007 can go to the circus instead.

Anybody watching Anfield Agenda on YouTube? Apparently there's news coming out that both Allison and kelleher could be sold in the summer.

Negativeredwalter2.0

1.) 20 Nov 2024 21:26:29
Not sure on Youtube for Liverpool news,

2.) 20 Nov 2024 21:41:18
He's got a few things right over the years but is probably most famous for saying Jude was ? coming to us.

3.) 20 Nov 2024 21:49:28
Anfield Agenda talks about rumours that come up in the media. He doesn't know whether a word of it is true or not, and tbf I don't think he attempts to pretend he knows either.

4.) 20 Nov 2024 21:50:53
Anfield Agenda hasn't got to a clue about transfers. like the rest of us . he's just a fan.

5.) 20 Nov 2024 23:22:17
He posts different about players every day. It’s just click bait. I believe he used to be on here as a poster.

6.) 21 Nov 2024 00:01:45
The Alisson and Kelleher "news" was "reported" on the TBR website and summarised in BBC Gossip on Wednesday.

As above, he's no where near 'ITK' he's just a regular fan discussing gossip and rumours from mainstream tabloid sites - much like we do!

7.) 21 Nov 2024 00:07:54
By the way, to save you watching his next video, Walter, BBC Gossip for Thursday includes:

We're battling with Newcastle to sign Mbeumo
Man City are like to win the race to sign Wirtz ahead of us and Real Madrid.
We're likely to have a bid of £17m for Cherki rejected by Lyon who are holding out for £29m.
Forest want more than £70m for Murillo who we are apparently interested in.

All from tabloid sites, all likely untrue and all likely to be "discussed intelligently" by Anfield Agenda and other Youtubers and apparent ITKs.

You're welcome :-)

8.) 21 Nov 2024 05:11:10
lol is that the bull*shot you watch? ??

My hope for the goal keeper situation is that Kelleher gets his move in the summer and we keep Allison, Mamardashvilli for 2025/ 26.

2026 we let Alli walk for free and one of the youth continue to step up as backup.

9.) 21 Nov 2024 07:30:20
Why not sell both and keep Mama as No 1 and Jaros his backup. We are making it a habit leaving players out the door for nothing. Alisson can bring at least 30 mil from the Arabs. Why not use it for a top cb and a top no 6?

{Ed001's Note - because Alisson is the best in the world and Mama can't play the way we do - think De Gea and you will have an idea about him. Great shotstopper but hates to leave his line and poor at kicking the ball. We are not set up to play the way that will get the most out of him.}

10.) 21 Nov 2024 08:06:16
I can’t see the logic in not learning from our current contract situation. Why would we let the best goalkeeper in the world leave for free? He’s got nearly two years left on his contract, if we’ve learned anything it must be that now’s the time to start negotiations with him.

11.) 21 Nov 2024 08:03:53
Morning Ed001. Hope you’re well. I know your thoughts on Mama but do you think they’ve seen enough in him to think that they can coach him to become the keeper they want? Injuries aside I don’t see how anyone replaces Alisson for a couple of years at least but there must be some good reason why they bought him?

{Ed001's Note - they bought him because he was being offered around at what they felt was good value for later resale. Hughes was probably under a lot of pressure as well, having done f all in the window up to that point, apart from fail to bring in players. He was bought to be flipped, rather than to be used, Chelsea-style. Stick him out on loan for a few years, hope he plays well and his value goes up and you resell him at a profit. If he does magically develop the ability to play the way you want him to, then great, but you don't send the lad out on loan if you want to coach him into being what you want. He is not going to learn it playing for Valencia.}

12.) 21 Nov 2024 08:23:01
Ed001. I hope this is not the Chelsea model we’re going to follow. I get buying players they perceive to have resale value but I’d reckon it does little to build confidence in players at the club looking to build a career. Hopefully Ali stays fit and happy at LFC and we can bring through a backup keeper who feels he has a realistic prospect of taking over in time. I like Kelleher but share your views that he is just not quite good enough. He does probably deserve a No 1 spot somewhere but just not with us. Thanks for your thoughts.

{Ed001's Note - Chelsea were the top team in England when they began this model, it is a large part of the reason they fell away. Your focus should only be on putting the best team possible on the pitch, extra earnings should only be to help you do that and should never impact on that. Unfortunately, you can't possibly manage the time and resources effectively to avoid it negatively affecting the first team picture. For starters, every player you buy is unsure whether they are being bought as they are seen as having a future at the club or whether they are just looking to flip them.

I hope we never go down that route. The only way to do it successfully is to have lots of feeder clubs, ala City, and shift them around the group according to their level. Then they will know if they are making progress, as they move up the chain. If they are not moving up, they either have to knuckle down and work harder or get moved out in favour of someone better coming up. It is better for the players' mentality, which is better for winning matches and trophies - that should always be the deciding factor. What enables the club to win things should be the sole driving motivation of everyone at the club.}

13.) 21 Nov 2024 08:37:05
Agree totally. Winning matches and aiming to win trophies is always what the club should be about. That’s much more likely to happen if it’s a happy ship and players know where they stand. Thanks.

{Ed001's Note - very welcome.}

14.) 21 Nov 2024 08:39:52
Anfield agenda is the worst of the you tubers moans constantly about fsg, no transfers, transfers he wants, players he doesn’t like etc, . he is a complete ?️end .

15.) 21 Nov 2024 09:22:19
Assuming Allison wants to stay in Mama’s first season, then the benefit of having him at the club to help Mama settle in far outweighs any financial gain frmo selling him in the summer.

16.) 21 Nov 2024 09:34:09
That guy is an absolute bellend and just repeats rumours and stuff he's seen on Sky, BBC or Fabrizio Romanos page!

17.) 21 Nov 2024 12:43:19
I do wonder about the wisdom of letting Kelleher go. I'm not a gk expert by any means, but how big is the gulf really to warrant all this mad succession planning if Mama can't play out from the back. I'm sure others here know better.

18.) 21 Nov 2024 17:25:57
Is Anfield Agenda based on Bolton?

19.) 21 Nov 2024 20:28:43
@Faith, Ali indicated just before / around the start of the new season that’d he’d be open to extending his stay. We have arguably the best goalkeeper alive on the planet wanting to stay, surely offering him a new contract would be the best thing to do.

20.) 21 Nov 2024 21:15:53
Ron, yeah but he's lost weight and isn't a kid anymore.

21.) 21 Nov 2024 22:57:29
WDW3 - yup got that. But I'm not imagining we're going to have both Alli and Mama for an extended number of years. We'd have to have one of them as the #1 from 2026 onwards imo, hence being ok with letting Alli go at the end of his current contract.

22.) 22 Nov 2024 21:16:40
Fair enough @Faith, my view is that I don’t see any issue with having Ali and Marma at the same time. I thing a bit of competition for a spot in the starting line up (any position, not just GK) can never be a bad thing.

23.) 23 Nov 2024 09:51:26
WDW3 - I definitely don’t disagree with that. But I think at goal keeper is probably the most difficult position to do it.

My ideal scenario was that we’d keep Kelleher and he would just take over. But given Kelleher’s comments (fair enough too) and then we signed Mama, it seems the Kelleher ship will sail.

24.) 23 Nov 2024 17:45:41
@Negativeredwalter2.0, Jude did came to us via song. Don't it make bad ok!

29 Mar 2024 11:11:31
Confirmed Alonso is not coming to Liverpool.

Negativeredwalter2.0

{Ed014's Note - confirmed, Klopp is staying!

1.) 29 Mar 2024 11:27:31
Hi eds2
Could you tell us what type of manager Amorim is. What type of football can we expect if he is our next manager.
Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - A back three and attacking football.}

2.) 29 Mar 2024 14:42:00
Ed014 - I'm guessing that's a joke or sarcastic reply and you don't have some kind of insider news? Just so I don't reignite any hope around that idea.

{Ed014's Note - yes sorry red it was my being sarcastic, as at the time Alonso hadn’t said he was staying put so I was just making stuff up to copy Walter. ?‍♂️

3.) 29 Mar 2024 16:47:54
Don't do that to us ed14.??!

{Ed014's Note - you’ll be fine mate, Big Sam is a quality manager! ?

4.) 30 Mar 2024 08:28:31
Good to see u over on this page ed14 haven't seen u here in while. I thought pressure of title race getting to u. ?
On a seroius note how u see league race going now? Hard to call but i think if city beat use over weekend they win it, i can only see spurs taking points off them in rest of games. arsenal prob toughest run in followed by lfc. City not bad after this weekend.

18 Dec 2023 18:54:44
I've actually googled this to no concrete confirmation, but chatting with two lads in the cafe earlier and they seemed adamant that Allison is off to Bayern in the summer?

Negativeredwalter2.0

1.) 18 Dec 2023 20:38:37
If there's even the slightest possibility that the club management are considering letting Ali go, then they all need sacking, including Klopp. Most important player in the team by far with how shockingly open we are with these bloody stupid tactics.

{Ed025's Note - there is only Pickford who could replace him Westwood.. :)

2.) 18 Dec 2023 20:49:39
Cheers ed but I'd rather register a cardboard cut out of Ali than have that angry showboater in a Liverpool net, no offence!

{Ed025's Note - none taken mate, Ali is going nowhere..

3.) 19 Dec 2023 00:43:16
Pickford couldn’t lace Alisson’s boots. Not just because he’s nowhere near as good, but his arms wouldn’t reach that far.

4.) 19 Dec 2023 00:54:18
T-Rex.

5.) 19 Dec 2023 01:57:07
Yeah alis cardboard to the rescue!

6.) 19 Dec 2023 07:04:20
I often find that “a few lads in the pub” are absolutely bang on with their transfer intel ?

Classic Walter fishing expedition.

7.) 19 Dec 2023 07:35:09
@Spot on OP, Ali and his family go there every summer on hiking holidays.

8.) 19 Dec 2023 07:40:29
2 lads in the cafe, the most reputable source.

9.) 19 Dec 2023 12:30:57
I know it’s a rumour site but that is just too daft…. someone’s head needs a wobble!

10.) 19 Dec 2023 14:28:02
I was only going by what they were saying. I only popped in for a cheese sandwich.
Possibly untrue but if it is we're going to be in bigger trouble than we thought come start of next season.

11.) 19 Dec 2023 16:52:54
'Possibly' untrue!?

I'm sorry, but that can't even be classed as a rumour, wishful thinking on Bayern's part maybe, but there is more chance they'd get Oliver Kahn out of retirement before they see Alisson in their colours next year!

12.) 19 Dec 2023 17:52:19
Probably to play bayern in ucl next year.

13.) 19 Dec 2023 18:47:36
Brilliant Walter cheered me up.

14.) 20 Dec 2023 03:00:51
Lol Walter, I love this. As soon as you mentioned the cheese sandwich I lost my head. Absolutely brilliant mate! keep them coming haha some people just don't 'get' you, you barmy bugger. Merry Christmas mate!

15.) 20 Dec 2023 08:03:18
*sniff sniff sniff*

Is that cow?

*sniff sniff sniff*

No, it's bull****!

Stirring the pot with absolute trash as usual Walter!

16.) 20 Dec 2023 09:24:41
Omg I only posted what I had heard. Salah my dear chap wishing you a very happy Christmas and a happy new year.

17.) 20 Dec 2023 13:35:52
Thank you Walter. I wish you all the best mate. Keep these posts coming.

After coming close to a quad with klopp I wonder what's the likelyhood Slot does it in his 1st season?
Personally not convinced we win the league yet but definitely got a shot at champions League and league cup in my opinion.
If he did do the quad where would he rank in greatest coach / manager in LFC history? Top 3?

Negativeredwalter2.0

1.) 19 Dec 2024 00:24:59
For me, even if we did win the quad we'd need to win trophys consistently for a few years before he can be considered one of the greatest.

2.) 19 Dec 2024 00:28:57
Think the champions league will be a stretch.

3.) 19 Dec 2024 00:40:31
always more appropriate to rank anyone at the end of their career / tenure. Say he won the quad and then never won another trophy, what then?

4.) 19 Dec 2024 03:07:12
Winning a quad is still a massive achievement so I would imagine that he would still be ranked highly. But yeah, we wound definitely need to see how he does at the end if his tenure to properly rank him against our other past managers.

5.) 19 Dec 2024 07:00:10
I consider all the managers who have been domestic or European champions to be legends.

That’s my standard.
If Slot does it in his first season, like Rafa, he’ll be a legend for me.

We won’t win the quad, I don’t think our squad is deep/ strong enough for that.

6.) 19 Dec 2024 07:16:30
Oh no, please don't mention the Q word.

7.) 19 Dec 2024 07:16:51
This time last season we were in exactly the same position as now to win a quadruple (except it was Europa not CL) so there’s a hell of a long way to go.

I’d be delighted with winning just the League or CL. I’ll be honest if it boiled down to to one it would be the league for me.

I still believe the Club, players and fans are owed that trophy lift in a packed stadium and also the open top league winners bus campaign.

8.) 19 Dec 2024 07:19:20
No pressure on the new fella then @Walter? ?

Let’s just keep on playing the next game as best we can an see where it takes us. It’s quite good fun so far. Good to see Tsimi, and Jota and Endo and Chiesa and Harvey and young Danns, Nyoni and Morton get a run last night.

With the lads returning from injuries and Robbo and Macca available at the weekend we are nearly back to full strength all of a sudden + get Ibou and Conor back and we are at full strength I think. We’ve done well to keep our momentum going.

9.) 19 Dec 2024 07:35:07
To win the quad we’d have to have incredible luck with injuries, ie ibou and Conor coming back and being able to play pretty much every game we need them for, for robbo and Kostas to be able to rotate consistently and for grav to not get injured at all. I’m okay with winning either of the big ones, the league looking the most likely though all the big teams look like they aren’t the strongest- real, Barca, inter, Bayern, none of them inspire fear or look as good as us. My fear is facing Atalanta or atleti in the CL, the latter are our bogey team and they look very strong this year.

10.) 19 Dec 2024 08:31:33
It’s December. Let’s discuss nearer May. Do you really want to fuel the media and other fans with such premature talk? As WDW says, one game at a time and let’s see where we end up.

11.) 19 Dec 2024 11:11:02
Such comparisons as unbalanced as they are, are just a waste of time, IMO. Let the guy finish his first season or should I say, his first few seasons before making such comparisons. As WDW said, one game at a time.

12.) 19 Dec 2024 11:28:57
And here we are. The dreaded Q word is being uttered again.

Please Fowler, no! Just let us live.

13.) 19 Dec 2024 11:56:55
Right, multiple posters requesting my name not be mentioned this early on in the year. I am not sure what i have done.

If i have upset you all I sincerely apologise.

14.) 19 Dec 2024 14:16:28
If I was Slot and I won the quadruple in my first season then I’d probably just walk away because it’d be too hard to match that!

Let’s be honest, it’s an impossible ask really. I’d be happy with the league title TBH. That’s the big one for me, the rest are just a nice to have.

18 Dec 2024 13:29:31
Fsg want talks about joining this new superleague. Potentially more money for the club.
Personally I don't want it to take off.

Negativeredwalter2.0

1.) 18 Dec 2024 14:46:33
Not sure any fans want it to take off tbh.

2.) 18 Dec 2024 15:27:32
This new CL format might as well be it.

3.) 18 Dec 2024 15:29:59
I think its quite a difficult one. The Bayern CEO summed it up perfectly when he stated that Players and agents demanding higher salaries are forcing clubs to generate higher revenue and the revenue comes through more games.

Looking back over the years games a season have only increased around 10% (and that's only for the successful clubs) 1 example being Rushie played 52 games in the 93/ 94 season.

To combat the 10% extra games squads are now bigger and there are more substitutes allowed in a game.

Despite there being a slight increase in games the difference in wages is astronomical.

The average annual wage of a premier league footballer in 1993 was 75k a year where we are seeing that now as an average weekly wage.

So despite there being an increase of 10% of games (some even play less games) the increase in wages does not fall in line and the players are the ones who should be looking at themselves in the mirror.

4.) 18 Dec 2024 15:43:55
It makes no sense. They seem to be suggesting a new competition that basically combines the 3 European competitions into 1 competition with 3 separate divisions and promotion/ relegation between 3 divisions. They claim that qualification would be via domestic performance which raises the question; if it's based on domestic performance why is there promotion and relegation between the 3 divisions?

The big difference is that coverage would be via a 'free to air' streaming service and costs would be covered via advertising. My major concern with that would be a competition run by a completely unregulated streaming service solely designed to make money (don't kid yourselves that they are doing it for the fans benefit) and more than likely controlled by (and funding) Real Madrid/ Barcelona. It is just a move to try and revitalise a failing Spanish league that has seen it's relevance drop dramatically over the last 2 decades.

5.) 18 Dec 2024 15:49:40
It will never stop unless wages, fees etc are controlled.

6.) 18 Dec 2024 17:11:29
I’m game for it in some guise. Preferably do away with eufa pgmol fifa etc all the crap refs and stupid rules.

7.) 18 Dec 2024 19:50:21
Too late @Scouse, the genie is out of the bottle. I’m pretty sure that any Superleague won’t be letting fans in for free or be able to watch matches via the various media for free. “Power tends to corrupt, absolute powers corrupts absolutely” (Lord Acton (c) 1887).

8.) 18 Dec 2024 20:31:15
It’ll be a terrible move.
Away fans will be sparse.

Covid showed us the game relies on fans. Fan atmosphere relies on away fans to contribute to it.

It’ll be the death of those clubs.

I’ll be supporting a club that plays in the English leagues, if Liverpool are not in it, I’ll be supporting a different team. Simple as that for me.

9.) 18 Dec 2024 20:55:07
Salah, it is. Not sure this new format will get off the ground cos it just looks like Perez is desperate for it to happen. Also, not sure other club owners want to deal with the smoke. We shall see.

10.) 18 Dec 2024 23:24:41
If it is ‘free-to-air’ and funded by advertising we will be watching games peppered by commercial breaks every time there's a stoppage. Every free kick, VAR decision, injury, goal celebration, will be an opportunity to push a product. It already happens in a lot of sports its horrendous. Australian footy, for example, has around 20-30 ad breaks per game during playing time.

11.) 19 Dec 2024 06:00:33
Super League is here already. it's just called the Champions League / Europa League / Conference League.

12.) 19 Dec 2024 10:06:02
@Ron It is not a replacement for the Premier League (and never was) it is a replacement for the current European competitions (CL, EL, ECL) . That is why it is completely pointless. Also @Scouse It would have zero effect on UEFA, PGMOL or FIFA, it would just be a new unregulated probably corrupt from the outset organisation set up by the Spanish clubs. As Kylie once said "better the devil you know".

26 Nov 2024 22:15:36
Well city just threw a 3-0 lead. Is anyone else dreading playing them?
There's going to be a team that going to get a spanking after this poor run of results.
I just hope it's not us and the spanking takes place against other top 4 teams.

Negativeredwalter2.0

1.) 26 Nov 2024 22:24:41
I don't dread playing any team, I have a backbone.

2.) 26 Nov 2024 22:29:00
It will be so difficult to score against a park bus city!

3.) 26 Nov 2024 22:30:10
They don’t look like spanking anyone mate. They are still a very good team with very good players but tonight will only serve to put more doubt in their minds.

At 3-0 I was a bit concerned as Haaland had score 2 and they looked like they might wrack up a cricket score and come to Anfield bouncing.

That collapse can only be good for us but we need to put them under pressure and give them nothing and they will fold.

If we give them any encouragement like we did with Southampton they will gain confidence and they could quite conceivably beat us.

The players and fans need to be right at them from the off and we could be in for a routine win.

4.) 26 Nov 2024 22:52:43
That city team reminds me of when fabinho and hendos legs went, it's not a blip imo, it's the end of an absolutely brilliant team that won all round them, but age, injuries and miles in the legs catches up with everyone . And the recruitment has been very poor the last 12 months .

5.) 26 Nov 2024 23:34:23
I don’t think football is that linear port red so I don’t really think you can compare what happened with us to what’s happening with them.

They still have some brilliant young players and my gut tells me that they will be back. We just need to make sure we are way too far ahead of them when they do.

A win on Sunday will go a long way to achieving that.

We can’t take them lightly just because of their recent form we just need to make sure we are up for it and take advantage of their obvious insecurities.

6.) 27 Nov 2024 00:08:32
I think what is most important to remember from their last 6? games is you attack them and they are crumbling every time. We will attack them and I have no doubts about it that we'll get the win.

A surprise defeat for City a couple of seasons ago would have produced a backlash. Five defeats and throwing away a 3 goal lead against a good team in, shall we say, a lesser league is a lot more than a blip. They have defenders out injured, KDB’s legs have gone and Rodri is out for the season. I agree with the opinion that the recent ‘great’ City team has reached its sell by date.

8.) 27 Nov 2024 03:25:52
like someone else said earlier, don't dread playing anyone. Not even sure what the reason would be tbh.

another challenge, another game to watch our boys in red.

I just hope we go out there and put in a worthy performance to take all 3 points!

9.) 27 Nov 2024 03:54:52
In any case, City don’t get to use the injuries excuse in the same way that other clubs may (not Arsenal) .
Their “blip” is down to Guardiola spending abysmally since the Haaland signing (and before), and not being able to formulate a plan for when City don’t completely outmatch their opposition for player quality. Same thing happened at Barca, and again at Bayern. The exact same thing.
City rarely go on losing streaks of anything longer than two games because they always run into a cowardly manager (Dyche, Moyes etc) that sits back, gets thumped 0-5, and almost resets the league-wide approach to playing them. This time, they’ve played a bunch of teams unafraid to have a go, and finally they are getting what they deserve for it.
We need to beat City to fend off Arsenal more than anything, because the former are going to get a few more thumpings this season.

10.) 27 Nov 2024 07:00:55
Did you see the body language of the team when Gvardiol made a mistake to let feyenoord back in the game? It didn't at all look like a team that believed in themselves, shoulders dropped and they seemed resigned to deja vu, what makes you think it's so easy for them to shrug setbacks off so easily? Even Pep looks desperate and forlorn right now. The question right now is does Pep chop and change at the back with Gvardiol looking fragile and low in confidence? if he makes big changes at the back it's a big risk for team chemistry.

Will Pep try to keep it tight hoping not to concede and try to play on the break when it isn't in his DNA to do so? If he leaves us the space he did against spurs or sporting we will run riot with darwin, lucho and mo running the channels and trent coming back.

City look bereft of belief and mentally shot, and they're facing a team brimming with confidence and sniffing blood at home in the loudest stadium around, if we go one up early it will be an explosive atmosphere. Not saying it will be easy and first we have to do a job against Madrid but there's no reason to fear them when they have the odds against them.

11.) 27 Nov 2024 07:21:48
Well with our great form, City’s awful form and Thunderbirds backbone, sunday is a forgone conclusion.

12.) 27 Nov 2024 07:47:33
De Bruyne will play Sunday and make them a much better team. Will be interesting but they will definitely turn up against us so not a given we will win. If we want to win the league we need to set a marker and beat them imo.

13.) 28 Nov 2024 07:20:51
To be fair, I hope that KDB plays from the start, he’ll be out on his feet by half time. More often than not we raise our game against City and if we play the way we’ve played against them for the past few season# we will be quite a handful for them as they are now.

Well that's a great draw for us. Potentially some great games coming up.
Anyone else thought we would get Real Madrid?

I am hoping the fans lucky to get tickets for the game can cheer us on.
I am going for a 1-1 final score. Just hope we don't implode as many will think it's not a good result.

The fans are lucky to be going but what a shocking match for 12.30am must be a 12 hour round trip.

2.) 16 Aug 2024 08:55:57
You're a bundle of joy Walter ?.

3.) 16 Aug 2024 08:58:29
1-1
Against newly promoted Ipswich?

I think if we don’t come away with 3 points that will be a major disappointment

Got to set your stall out early

I’m going 1-3 with Salah, Jota and Mac scoring.

4.) 16 Aug 2024 09:00:13
That the most positive this you’ve ever said Neg well done mate ?.

5.) 16 Aug 2024 09:08:04
3-2 Liverpool. Had game, they will create chances.

6.) 16 Aug 2024 09:16:20
Walter, before Christmas do you say to yourself "I'm probably going to get a lump of coal. It's not a bad present. " to insulate yourself against disappointment if you don't get the exact Lego set you wanted?

7.) 16 Aug 2024 09:48:43
We could win 9-1 and it would be a disaster for some - No clean sheet so the defence is shocking and it could have been 12 if Darwin didn't miss those 3 half chances.

I think 3-1 win is about right.

8.) 16 Aug 2024 09:57:19
3 nil to us salah and jota with 2.

9.) 16 Aug 2024 10:05:55
I don’t expect us to conceded. I do expect us to score.

The timing of the kick-off was Klopp’s albatross, I have a suspicion it won’t affect Slot, who appears calmer and more pragmatic than the emotive Klopp.

10.) 16 Aug 2024 10:12:27
I guess nobody has watched Ispwich much, they can score goals but are so weak at the back they’ll concede a lot this season.

{Ed002's Note - Ipswich have already added some very good players in cluding CB Jacob Greaves, winger Omari Hutchinson and stiker Liam Delap.}

11.) 16 Aug 2024 10:25:00
The confidence in the team is inspirational.

12.) 16 Aug 2024 10:36:31
3-1 Salah, Jota and Nunez.

13.) 16 Aug 2024 10:37:50
The inlaws are Ipswich fans. I may be biased but I reckon they stay up plenty of good young players only getting better. And Kalvin Phillips. Morton would have been ideal for them I was surprised they weren’t interested.

14.) 16 Aug 2024 11:00:02
There’s no excuses. We are a top 3 club and they are a team just promoted. The gap in quality is massive. We should win quite comfortably.

15.) 16 Aug 2024 11:00:35
What are you talking about WDW everyone has said they think Liverpool will win. Some think easily and others, myself included think it will be a tough first game. I don’t count Walter as he never thinks we will win.

Why not simply just post your score prediction? Then you can bang on about it later if you happen to be correct.

16.) 16 Aug 2024 11:31:03
At the end of the day you never know how promoted teams are going to perform. Some thrive like Bournemouth whereas others crumble like Burnley. One thing for sure is that opening day in their own stadium again us they will be 100% up for it and raring to go. We will need to start the game better than we did most games last season and take control of the game. I'm confident we will win but don't expect a walkover.

17.) 16 Aug 2024 13:13:32
I’ll give you mine Mark. Liverpool to win 3-0, no excuses, we are a far better team.

18.) 16 Aug 2024 14:53:53
I've stuck Jota as my captain in the Fantasy Footie - will be giving him hell on the live chat through the game, that usually works lol.

19.) 17 Aug 2024 05:37:10
@Markp - I wasn’t actually talking to you. However, that said, I’m pretty sure that if Liverpool were not to win it wouldn’t be a shock to find you on here pointing out everybody’s failings in depth.

We will not get either. Likelyhood is it will be a young player (s) that no one has heard of except MK Scouser possibly.
When this happens we just have to hope for the best and see what happens.

If we do get him out expert fans will be saying he's world class in under 3 months.
From the little I've seen of him he has talent and will be at a top 4 club before long.

@ edd 1 not trolling mate just my take on things. As I said I can understand people rate him I've just never seen it.
Maybe I just expected way more than he could deliver. No hate to the fella.
You spoke of his passing but again I see it as above average. Alonso Scholes Gerrard Pirlo Barnes Beckham are what I think are top passers/ crosses for me Trent is the level below. That's just my opinion.

Negativeredwalter2.0

{Ed001's Note - if you say so. But you saying that about his passing is just like Leek's bull**** views. It is either being deliberately trolling or moronic. It really is that simple.}

The doom and gloom posts certainly have a place on this site. Not everyone can be as upbeat as myself ?.
Some of the best gloomy posts have had the best responses and make for some great reading.
Personally I don't want anything to change on this brilliant site.

@rome I think there's going to be some very upset fans in the near future. I still believe 3rd is our destination in league position.
Would be nice to get a trophy from the 3 still available. Champions league trophy is my thoughts.

Trents had several bad games this season. This was his worst since he's debut.
Hopefully he picks up form and does well for the team.
Bradley needs more minutes so hopefully Trent gets a rest soon or atleast plays less minutes.
