Just read a crazy article on Yahoo. Liverpool are looking to bringing in none other than Mason Greenwood.
This has to be false information?
Shady past ex man u player. Personally can't see it happening but thought I'd post what I've read.
1.) 20 Apr 2025 19:08:34
Wouldn’t have anywhere in the country never mind at the club.
2.) 20 Apr 2025 19:33:57
Only if we're signing him so Robbo can delete his knee in his first training session.
And I'm fairly sure that's not the most efficient way to spend money.
3.) 20 Apr 2025 19:56:21
Please tell me you didn’t click into that mate. Don’t give the clickbait curs a penny.
4.) 20 Apr 2025 21:39:26
Story came from Fichajes which means thankfully it’s a load of mierda de tonterías.
5.) 20 Apr 2025 21:43:20
In terms of profile I think he’s what we need. Someone who can cover the right and up front. Chiesa was brought in for that but Slot doesn’t seem to like him. Mbeumo is the one I think. Wouldn’t go anywhere near that scumbag greenwood.
6.) 20 Apr 2025 23:00:32
May as well sign Joey Barton while we’re at it!
7.) 20 Apr 2025 23:30:09
eds - surely posters lose their credibility when they come on here posting rumours from yahoo? lol jokes aside, but come on bruv, Mr. Negative, have you not learned by now to block out the noise!?
8.) 20 Apr 2025 23:53:23
Tbf, you've got to admire Marseilles' commitment to the Team Evil / Prison FC concept.
26 Jan 2025 14:22:45
Young leftback Hato was at the game. Spotted in the crowd. Could it be a a bid has gone in for him?
1.) 26 Jan 2025 14:47:22
I'd expect Ajax would want crazy money for him, and given he's only 18, it would be a mega risk, but he is highly rated at least, and definitely fits the "LB/ CB" role people feel suits slot's tactics more. I have to say though, I don't see a great deal of difference in the attacking intentions of either of our FBs at the moment, robbo/ tsimi seem to be pretty far forward most of the time.
2.) 26 Jan 2025 16:20:56
This mornings stories were saying that €30m could tempt them to sell this month.
3.) 26 Jan 2025 16:51:04
Hahaha 30 mill not a chance will that happen.
4.) 26 Jan 2025 17:03:59
Ajax in a bit of a tight financial position apparently so may consider a bid now. Also Napoli being linked with Darwin, we’re reluctant to sell mid season according to this link but may change that if they up their interest in next few days. £50m is being mentioned.
5.) 26 Jan 2025 17:22:18
John Henry will throw his "HATo into the ring", that's all he will throw, won't be money.
whyowhy, will be saying were top of the league, top in the UCL, semi finalist league cup, what more do you want? we ain't won anything yet.
Ye strengthen at the top it's easier, not when ye sliding down the league, stand still in the prem and ye get overtaken, looks like if they sign Cherki then MO is gone henry won't pay for that absolutely massive contract will gamble on Cherki.
6.) 26 Jan 2025 17:30:41
Agent Hendo?
7.) 26 Jan 2025 18:12:53
Why on earth would we buy Cherki?
8.) 26 Jan 2025 19:14:18
Why on earth would we buy Flora "MOOSE"-ala? I quoted "looks like"!
Cheaper than Salahs massive contract, John Henry is a businessman his financial interests are for himself only (FSG) and everything else does not matter, he will obviously deem that a four year contract for any player is well worth the risk than he would have to pay Salah, VVD, TAA contracts because it's the cheaper option, he's not bothered if that's Arne's third/ fourth choice, he knows that even if LFC went into the conference Anfield will still be full, in other words he takes all LFC fans for granted, as we love the club where his football philosophy is he loves money!
Sadly for him he will never know what it's like to be a true Liverpool Football Club Supporter.
Brendan Rodgers was John Henrys first LFC manager who he appointed, does that explain why money comes first for him, and always will, to quote me mother "if ye buy cheap, ye buy twice", and you only get what you pay for (Salah/ Cherki)!
9.) 26 Jan 2025 19:44:59
Reading some of these posts is like reading the diary of someone having a mental breakdown.
10.) 26 Jan 2025 20:23:13
Flashing ye Red, Told ye before you'll go to Prison for flashing your Red nowadays!
11.) 26 Jan 2025 22:19:58
Napoli?
Stick £50m on the asking price.
12.) 26 Jan 2025 23:00:07
Buying players for a lot money doesn't necessarily strengthen the team.
13.) 27 Jan 2025 00:57:44
I love how people say you need to strengthen when you're on top or it's total destruction to the club - people forget when we won champions league klopp signed. one player, for £14m.
EVERYONE said we were going to go downhill get left behind yada yada. but it didn't happen.
Conversely united sign about 6 players every two years an get worse. Chelsea signed all the players and they're no closer to a title either.
It's not football manager, just signing players doesn't fix anything. Assuming something is broken since we currently win almost everything. If it ain't broke.
Imagine if we did sign a few massive "marquee" signings for £200m and they upset the balance of the team and we end up winning nothing?
14.) 27 Jan 2025 03:20:26
Just sign the right player. Don’t care how much, as long as we’re making the money work etc.
15.) 27 Jan 2025 04:58:18
@007 FSG have nothing to do with transfers. They have people that they employ and trust to manage operational execution for the various businesses within their portfolio. Continually labouring the involvement of the FSG senior management is not only incorrect and tiresome but also serves to make you sound like you don’t know what you are talking about.
16.) 27 Jan 2025 07:56:20
Wasn't King Kenny FSG's first appointed manager? I could have sworn that they sacked Roy first thing when they took over. But then again, I can only half understand what Bond is writing up there so I may not have gotten the message that he was trying to convey.
17.) 27 Jan 2025 08:00:41
Ahh classic WDW, FSG hire these people and the buck stops with them. In any business the owners should be culpable regardless of who they hire.
18.) 27 Jan 2025 08:08:40
Www exactly ed2. The legend said this repeatedly And don’t discuss finances and. That’s all that’s happening now.
19.) 27 Jan 2025 08:23:23
I find it curious that people need someone to point the finger at and blame - blame for what exactly?
Not listening to half baked fans?
20.) 27 Jan 2025 08:24:37
I think Hato is going to be a top player, he's already received the right sort of footballing education, makes perfect sense for us if he's one we're looking at, and if it's true that he is indeed a Liverpool fan that makes it even better.
21.) 27 Jan 2025 09:34:57
Flash - maybe one day you’ll post something that is not attacking other posters. Isn’t there a bridge you can live under?
22.) 27 Jan 2025 12:00:16
You don't like it, don't read it.
It really is that simple.
23.) 27 Jan 2025 12:01:49
We need another dutchie for the left hand side ?.
24.) 27 Jan 2025 12:58:41
@DHFC Give me da music, make me rocking at the dance.
25.) 27 Jan 2025 16:15:04
Pelican is right flash, you're boring with it mate let people have their say without your daft digs, it's silly.
26.) 27 Jan 2025 17:42:49
“Pass to the Dutchie on the left hand side”
New Musical Youth ?.
27.) 27 Jan 2025 17:54:40
Salah it's also boring and tiresome that posters come on here day after day with the same daft digs and nonsense aimed at FSG and everyone else running the club.
28.) 27 Jan 2025 19:19:16
Would my posts be more acceptable if I was slagging FSG/ players/ the club I claim to support Salah? Would that fit in more for you?
Genuinely interested.
Some people take themselves way too seriously, and some are just bonkers. It's all fair game to me. If grown men can't handle having the mickey taken when they post garbage, maybe an Internet forum is the wrong place for them, eh?
29.) 27 Jan 2025 19:48:49
Flash, being funny would be a good start. And I don’t count laughing at your own posts in that. Give it a go.
30.) 28 Jan 2025 00:44:34
Well if we all thought the same things were funny the world would be a boring place.
I don't need your seal of approval, nor anyone else's.
I defer to my earlier post - if you don't like it. don't read it.
The points I make are valid, but I suspect that's what stings with some, eh?
31.) 28 Jan 2025 03:40:40
Flash, it's entirely upto you what you post mate, if that's how you want to come across then that's upto you. Having daft little digs and acting the fool though is silly in my opinion, you do it every other post, it's not as if it's a one off is it? like I say - boring.
You talk about an 'internet forum' do you ever really get involved in debates on here? because most of the time all I see you do is just go against what X poster has said.
32.) 28 Jan 2025 08:36:20
What you mean Salah is that I don't join in with the negative narrative, that my posts would be deemed acceptable if I were to join the crowd and slag some aspect of the club/ players off.
The team are in a fantastic position, yet if I was to judge the team or club by what I read on here every day then I'd swear we were in a worse position than when we were owned by Gillette and Hicks and deep in a relegation battle.
It's meant to be a bit of light hearted fun, but so many take it and themselves way too seriously, or use the site as a daily vent for their constant displeasure. There is very little decent debate worth contributing to, just the daily grind of moan, whinge and titty lip about not buying their personal flavour of the month.
Join in with that, follow the herd?
No thanks, and i'll re-iterate - I don't force people to read my posts, if what I post isn't liked then that's just TSB. And if people can't stand a bit off ballbreaking when they constantly post negative stuff, then just maybe they need to lighten up a little bit?
33.) 28 Jan 2025 13:33:41
Not what I meant at all, Flash, what I meant is what I put. I don't care if you're positive about the club or negative mate lol it doesn't matter to me, we're all different but all you seem to do is slag people off for having a different opinion.
By all means, be you - nobody is saying otherwise but don't cry about it when people mention something about your negativity towards negativity.
There's a divide at the moment some are being negative and for right reasons and then others are saying because we're top of the league everything is fine when it isn't but it's all about how people want to look at it. I don't think anybody is wrong but some aren't looking at the bigger picture. There's good arguements for both sides but you don't even attempt to get involved in that, usually you're just pointing the finger. You are ignorant to those who don't think the way you do.
34.) 28 Jan 2025 18:36:36
When trolling, be sure to troll equally. Only then can you be a true troll and reach that hallowed bridge over the River Infinity.
35.) 28 Jan 2025 20:33:04
To be fair to flash, some people do talk utter sh**e on here and should be called out for it.
06 Jan 2025 21:29:43
Not sure If anyone has seen but after lol the abuse to utd about their leaky roof ours is now leaking.
Also apparently big punch up in the changing room. Vvd had to step in and calm it all down.
1.) 06 Jan 2025 22:36:37
There's has been leaking on and off since 2012.
I bet we won't take 12 years to fix ours.
2.) 07 Jan 2025 01:16:45
Wasn’t it only on the away fans anyway? I’d leave it a while if it was.
3.) 07 Jan 2025 07:26:01
Do people really believe this kind of things? I mean if we were fighting for relegation than I would understand, but we were 6 points clear on top of the the league with a game in hand.
4.) 07 Jan 2025 09:03:58
It wasn’t leaking. The pouring rain was running off the roof - it’s called gravity!
5.) 07 Jan 2025 09:53:11
It was reserved for manU fans.
6.) 07 Jan 2025 10:06:09
1jj spot on mate.
But in fairness to Utd fans they’ve taken their opportunity well there for some banter back.
We love to give it so we have to take it on the chin as well.
7.) 07 Jan 2025 10:29:58
To be honest, United are in no place to talk as not only does the roof leak at old Trafford, there’s sewage overflowing from the bogs there which rears its head from time to time (just like the old Wembley) .
8.) 07 Jan 2025 12:48:04
I can tell you there’s a leak in the kop roof for a fact. Because I’ve stood under it ?.
9.) 07 Jan 2025 18:51:29
The roof stuff is nonsense but the dressing room square up really wouldn't suprise me. Trent was nothing short of awful and didn't look interested. Maybe it was an official game but it's difficult not to put it down to losing focus considering how good he has been before the turn of the year. If it's even remotely true, and I hope to god it isn't, then I would expect him to be sold this month. The last thing we need is a squad breakdown because of one player. The club will endure with or without any single players regardless of who they are.
10.) 07 Jan 2025 19:01:43
I’m not bothered about a leaky roof it’s the leaky right side of the defence I’d rather have sorted.
11.) 08 Jan 2025 13:19:38
The roof was definitely leaking, it started dripping right on my head just before little rat boy scored their first goal like a bad omen! Also anyone wanting Elon Musk anywhere near the club needs looking at, trying to buy success bad enough but doing it via some complete weirdo with the personality of a 14 year old virgin that spends too much time on the internet is even worse. I genuinely would give up my ticket so people like 007 can go to the circus instead.
20 Nov 2024 21:11:02
Anybody watching Anfield Agenda on YouTube? Apparently there's news coming out that both Allison and kelleher could be sold in the summer.
1.) 20 Nov 2024 21:26:29
Not sure on Youtube for Liverpool news,
2.) 20 Nov 2024 21:41:18
He's got a few things right over the years but is probably most famous for saying Jude was ? coming to us.
3.) 20 Nov 2024 21:49:28
Anfield Agenda talks about rumours that come up in the media. He doesn't know whether a word of it is true or not, and tbf I don't think he attempts to pretend he knows either.
4.) 20 Nov 2024 21:50:53
Anfield Agenda hasn't got to a clue about transfers. like the rest of us . he's just a fan.
5.) 20 Nov 2024 23:22:17
He posts different about players every day. It’s just click bait. I believe he used to be on here as a poster.
6.) 21 Nov 2024 00:01:45
The Alisson and Kelleher "news" was "reported" on the TBR website and summarised in BBC Gossip on Wednesday.
As above, he's no where near 'ITK' he's just a regular fan discussing gossip and rumours from mainstream tabloid sites - much like we do!
7.) 21 Nov 2024 00:07:54
By the way, to save you watching his next video, Walter, BBC Gossip for Thursday includes:
We're battling with Newcastle to sign Mbeumo
Man City are like to win the race to sign Wirtz ahead of us and Real Madrid.
We're likely to have a bid of £17m for Cherki rejected by Lyon who are holding out for £29m.
Forest want more than £70m for Murillo who we are apparently interested in.
All from tabloid sites, all likely untrue and all likely to be "discussed intelligently" by Anfield Agenda and other Youtubers and apparent ITKs.
You're welcome :-)
8.) 21 Nov 2024 05:11:10
lol is that the bull*shot you watch? ??
My hope for the goal keeper situation is that Kelleher gets his move in the summer and we keep Allison, Mamardashvilli for 2025/ 26.
2026 we let Alli walk for free and one of the youth continue to step up as backup.
9.) 21 Nov 2024 07:30:20
Why not sell both and keep Mama as No 1 and Jaros his backup. We are making it a habit leaving players out the door for nothing. Alisson can bring at least 30 mil from the Arabs. Why not use it for a top cb and a top no 6?
{Ed001's Note - because Alisson is the best in the world and Mama can't play the way we do - think De Gea and you will have an idea about him. Great shotstopper but hates to leave his line and poor at kicking the ball. We are not set up to play the way that will get the most out of him.}
10.) 21 Nov 2024 08:06:16
I can’t see the logic in not learning from our current contract situation. Why would we let the best goalkeeper in the world leave for free? He’s got nearly two years left on his contract, if we’ve learned anything it must be that now’s the time to start negotiations with him.
11.) 21 Nov 2024 08:03:53
Morning Ed001. Hope you’re well. I know your thoughts on Mama but do you think they’ve seen enough in him to think that they can coach him to become the keeper they want? Injuries aside I don’t see how anyone replaces Alisson for a couple of years at least but there must be some good reason why they bought him?
{Ed001's Note - they bought him because he was being offered around at what they felt was good value for later resale. Hughes was probably under a lot of pressure as well, having done f all in the window up to that point, apart from fail to bring in players. He was bought to be flipped, rather than to be used, Chelsea-style. Stick him out on loan for a few years, hope he plays well and his value goes up and you resell him at a profit. If he does magically develop the ability to play the way you want him to, then great, but you don't send the lad out on loan if you want to coach him into being what you want. He is not going to learn it playing for Valencia.}
12.) 21 Nov 2024 08:23:01
Ed001. I hope this is not the Chelsea model we’re going to follow. I get buying players they perceive to have resale value but I’d reckon it does little to build confidence in players at the club looking to build a career. Hopefully Ali stays fit and happy at LFC and we can bring through a backup keeper who feels he has a realistic prospect of taking over in time. I like Kelleher but share your views that he is just not quite good enough. He does probably deserve a No 1 spot somewhere but just not with us. Thanks for your thoughts.
{Ed001's Note - Chelsea were the top team in England when they began this model, it is a large part of the reason they fell away. Your focus should only be on putting the best team possible on the pitch, extra earnings should only be to help you do that and should never impact on that. Unfortunately, you can't possibly manage the time and resources effectively to avoid it negatively affecting the first team picture. For starters, every player you buy is unsure whether they are being bought as they are seen as having a future at the club or whether they are just looking to flip them.
I hope we never go down that route. The only way to do it successfully is to have lots of feeder clubs, ala City, and shift them around the group according to their level. Then they will know if they are making progress, as they move up the chain. If they are not moving up, they either have to knuckle down and work harder or get moved out in favour of someone better coming up. It is better for the players' mentality, which is better for winning matches and trophies - that should always be the deciding factor. What enables the club to win things should be the sole driving motivation of everyone at the club.}
13.) 21 Nov 2024 08:37:05
Agree totally. Winning matches and aiming to win trophies is always what the club should be about. That’s much more likely to happen if it’s a happy ship and players know where they stand. Thanks.
{Ed001's Note - very welcome.}
14.) 21 Nov 2024 08:39:52
Anfield agenda is the worst of the you tubers moans constantly about fsg, no transfers, transfers he wants, players he doesn’t like etc, . he is a complete ?️end .
15.) 21 Nov 2024 09:22:19
Assuming Allison wants to stay in Mama’s first season, then the benefit of having him at the club to help Mama settle in far outweighs any financial gain frmo selling him in the summer.
16.) 21 Nov 2024 09:34:09
That guy is an absolute bellend and just repeats rumours and stuff he's seen on Sky, BBC or Fabrizio Romanos page!
17.) 21 Nov 2024 12:43:19
I do wonder about the wisdom of letting Kelleher go. I'm not a gk expert by any means, but how big is the gulf really to warrant all this mad succession planning if Mama can't play out from the back. I'm sure others here know better.
18.) 21 Nov 2024 17:25:57
Is Anfield Agenda based on Bolton?
19.) 21 Nov 2024 20:28:43
@Faith, Ali indicated just before / around the start of the new season that’d he’d be open to extending his stay. We have arguably the best goalkeeper alive on the planet wanting to stay, surely offering him a new contract would be the best thing to do.
20.) 21 Nov 2024 21:15:53
Ron, yeah but he's lost weight and isn't a kid anymore.
21.) 21 Nov 2024 22:57:29
WDW3 - yup got that. But I'm not imagining we're going to have both Alli and Mama for an extended number of years. We'd have to have one of them as the #1 from 2026 onwards imo, hence being ok with letting Alli go at the end of his current contract.
22.) 22 Nov 2024 21:16:40
Fair enough @Faith, my view is that I don’t see any issue with having Ali and Marma at the same time. I thing a bit of competition for a spot in the starting line up (any position, not just GK) can never be a bad thing.
23.) 23 Nov 2024 09:51:26
WDW3 - I definitely don’t disagree with that. But I think at goal keeper is probably the most difficult position to do it.
My ideal scenario was that we’d keep Kelleher and he would just take over. But given Kelleher’s comments (fair enough too) and then we signed Mama, it seems the Kelleher ship will sail.
24.) 23 Nov 2024 17:45:41
@Negativeredwalter2.0, Jude did came to us via song. Don't it make bad ok!
29 Mar 2024 11:11:31
Confirmed Alonso is not coming to Liverpool.
{Ed014's Note - confirmed, Klopp is staying!
1.) 29 Mar 2024 11:27:31
Hi eds2
Could you tell us what type of manager Amorim is. What type of football can we expect if he is our next manager.
Thanks.
{Ed002's Note - A back three and attacking football.}
2.) 29 Mar 2024 14:42:00
Ed014 - I'm guessing that's a joke or sarcastic reply and you don't have some kind of insider news? Just so I don't reignite any hope around that idea.
{Ed014's Note - yes sorry red it was my being sarcastic, as at the time Alonso hadn’t said he was staying put so I was just making stuff up to copy Walter. ?♂️
3.) 29 Mar 2024 16:47:54
Don't do that to us ed14.??!
{Ed014's Note - you’ll be fine mate, Big Sam is a quality manager! ?
4.) 30 Mar 2024 08:28:31
Good to see u over on this page ed14 haven't seen u here in while. I thought pressure of title race getting to u. ?
On a seroius note how u see league race going now? Hard to call but i think if city beat use over weekend they win it, i can only see spurs taking points off them in rest of games. arsenal prob toughest run in followed by lfc. City not bad after this weekend.

What a performance from Rice last night. I was gutted we didn't buy him when he went to Arsenal.
I firmly believe if we had Rice in our team we would have dominated even more in the league and would have progressed in Europe.
1.) 09 Apr 2025 10:18:49
Rice fan club have been waiting all season to say something positive about Rice lol.
2.) 09 Apr 2025 10:57:52
Means nothing if they don’t lift the Trophy.
3.) 09 Apr 2025 11:03:15
Regardless of last night, I've always thought that Rice was a top player. He gets criticised on here, partly due to his price tag that he didn't set. Would've loved him in our midfield, but was never going to happen.
4.) 09 Apr 2025 11:04:05
About time he did something worthy of his 100m+ price tag :)
5.) 09 Apr 2025 11:08:03
I’m not a massive fan of Rice as an overall player and that hasn’t changed just because he scored two free kicks. However I am a massive fan of his set pieces and I do wonder why on Earth he hasn’t been first choice set piece taker for club and country his whole career. Weird one, his corners are 10/ 10 too.
6.) 09 Apr 2025 11:27:03
Always been a fan of Rice. There's a reason for the last few years Arsenal have improved and been doing better than us in terms of league position.
7.) 09 Apr 2025 11:36:42
I must admit I did want Rice to replace Henderson, but I'm more than happy with us in the end choosing to sign Macca (£35m), Szoboszlai (£60m) and Gravenberch (£40m) for only £30m more than Rice (£105m) cost. We got our whole midfield for not a lot more than individuals like Rice, Enzo, Caicedo and Grealish cost our rivals in recent years. Yet our lads are the ones running away with the league right now. Jorg Schmadtke did a very good job in hindsight.
8.) 09 Apr 2025 11:43:31
Wouldn’t even have rice in the irish team ?.
{Ed001's Note - I am going to resist the temptation to make any kind of gag about that being because the Irish prefer potatoes. Looking at the results of the team, it looks like a team full of spuds.....}
9.) 09 Apr 2025 11:51:17
He was brilliant last season but has been nowhere near the same level this season. It will be interesting to see if last night was a one off or whether he can keep it up.
10.) 09 Apr 2025 12:16:31
Would have Rice playing for Ireland in a heartbeat, he ultimately chose England but he’s mile ahead of anyone else in that team at the moment, sadly.
11.) 09 Apr 2025 12:17:28
Boil em, mash em, stick em in a stew….
{Ed001's Note - can't beat a good gravy and chips as well mate.}
12.) 09 Apr 2025 12:49:03
Isnt Rice in his 2nd season with Arsenal Walter? So last year they finished ahead of us and this year we'll finish ahead of them. He has played a part in their"we've finished 2nd 3 years on the trot"team which i know Arsenal fans are very proud of i suppose.
13.) 09 Apr 2025 12:50:59
I think ED001 missed the great Sam Wise reference here from LOTR.
{Ed001's Note - I did.}
14.) 09 Apr 2025 13:11:15
Aoe: grealish, Bellingham, rice in midfield and kane up top wouldn't be bad irish side.
15.) 09 Apr 2025 13:32:49
Wayne Rooney was another, think he said recently he'd been on the verge of throwing his lot in with the boys in green.
16.) 09 Apr 2025 15:02:23
Always time for LOTR references!
17.) 09 Apr 2025 16:48:35
Too soon Ed. Too soon. ?.
06 Apr 2025 18:05:03
It really seems like two of the recent best players careers are coming to an end. Salah and kdbs time are up.
I really hope Salah doesn't get a contract extension and goes of to have some fun in USA or Saudi.
1.) 06 Apr 2025 18:15:42
He doesn’t get rotated Walter. The lad burns out every season because nobody gives him a rest after carrying us for 7 months.
2.) 06 Apr 2025 18:33:28
His recent run of bad form has coincided with the injury to Trent and Bradley though, can’t help but feel a connection there.
Its a team game and Salah needs good players and creativity behind him to bring the best out of him, he can’t do it all by himself all the time.
3.) 06 Apr 2025 18:53:58
Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
We'll never know if we'd have won, drawn or played better had Salah been rotated. I'm not sure if someone like Chiesa or Elliott instead of Salah would have made that much difference.
When Salah isn't rested he regularly provides goals and assists. It's easy to rotate him after he doesn't score or assist. That said, I'm not convinced by Jota starting regularly but he scores the winner on Wednesday.
I don't always agree with Slot's line ups but I know we wouldn't be any higher up in the League if he listened to me ?.
4.) 06 Apr 2025 18:55:59
Spot on, Mikey. He is really sufferrinf from not having Trent to bounce off off cos they have patterns of play that they run efficiently whether it be with Hendo, Elliott and now Szobo.
@LFC08 as for nobody giving Salah a rest, miss me with that stuff cos we all know Salah want's to play every game and we know hos he sulks when he gets subbed historically. There are players that can come in for him BUT the manager won't play them so who's fault is that?
As for him carrying us for 7 months, you must have missed the contributions of Gakpo, Diaz and even Nunez and Jota in bits that have helped us to no. 20 incomming so that is false. It's a team game and we have won games in which Salah played and did not score nor assist in. Take a day off, LFC08.
5.) 06 Apr 2025 19:56:46
I can’t take advice off someone who watches the match via teletext Oli ? I’ve probably seen Real Madrid live at Anfield more times than you’ve seen Liverpool laa.
6.) 06 Apr 2025 20:22:56
Nine goals in his last 10 league games, finished alright.
7.) 06 Apr 2025 20:27:38
Hahaha Mic drop from LFC8.
8.) 06 Apr 2025 21:17:34
Geez. Poor Salah. Career year but somehow he's finished.
9.) 06 Apr 2025 21:40:42
Maybe I didn't word it properly but I firmly believe this is Salah last hurrah.
It's happened to everyone who's played the game. No way he gets numbers like this again unless in a lesser league.
10.) 07 Apr 2025 00:22:05
One thing that helps Salah immensely is when Trent plays. A lot of the one on one situations Salah finds himself in with the wingback is because Trent releases him there from a defending position.
Without trent we progress the ball much slower basically going side to side until we reach the box, problem is that method allows the opposition to keep their shape so when Salah gets the ball he's marked by two with a third often hanging around.
There's also the fact that with no goal threat anywhere else on the pitch the defense can rest easy in leaving Diaz, Jota, Nunez because even if they get the ball they run into more blind alleys and slice shots wide than they do move forward and test the keeper. Chiesa is pretty direct and tests the keeper so I'm really surprised he doesn't get a chance more. He's played across all three forward positions for Italy and juve and even played false 9 at times for fiorentina. No reason he can't be tried elsewhere.
11.) 07 Apr 2025 00:44:37
Give Oli some credit. He can review a match review without even seeing the game by reading other match reviews.
All without trusting social media.
12.) 07 Apr 2025 06:20:58
To be fair Salah hasn’t had a stand-in for years and has played a lot of football year on year. He’s played knocking on for 50 games this season and anybody who thinks he’s immune to being tired is just plain wrong. He’s carried th3 goal threat (yet again) single handedly this season. Without him we just wouldn’t be where we are this season.
13.) 07 Apr 2025 09:41:40
LiverpoolFC8, I see you din't address anything I said and resorted to petty jokes. Figures. Oh, and you want a trophy for watching RM live? Lose the petty insults and the "I got to Anfield" sctick. That does NOTHING to me and doesn't make you opinion worth any more than anyone else. I see.
26 Feb 2025 10:00:09
Been busy with my kids so not had a chance to comment but got to say been very impressed with Salah. Some great performances by him. Not his biggest fan but credit where it's due.
Also the defence has been superb of late. Vvd got to go down as an all time great for the club and the primer league.
1.) 26 Feb 2025 11:42:59
I can't believe I'm reading an almost positive post from you Walter mate! Another one tomorrow after we win tonight?
2.) 26 Feb 2025 11:46:45
You're not a fan of arguably our best player over the last 7 years and arguably one of our top 5 ever greatest players, our 3rd greatest scorer ever, greatest scorer in Europe ever, who could be the 4th highest goal scorer in Premier League history by the end of this season and 6th highest assist record in Premier League history, by the end of the season?
No pleasing some people.
3.) 26 Feb 2025 11:56:07
Salah is very happy now after reading walter comments and he is sure to perform better to get more positive comments.
Long it may continue.
4.) 26 Feb 2025 12:16:00
Any Liverpool fan who says he’s not Mo’s biggest fan is simply not a Liverpool fan.
Neggy is the most obvious troll I’ve ever seen.
5.) 26 Feb 2025 12:34:59
Wait a minute, was he talking about Salah the player or Salah the poster. Both have been on fire lately.
6.) 26 Feb 2025 13:20:55
If we lose tonight, you'll have to go back to being negative, Walter! Can't have your positivity jinxing us this close to the the of the season!
7.) 26 Feb 2025 13:57:18
Walter has been hacked!
8.) 26 Feb 2025 14:46:07
Not a fan of Salah? Wow some people are hard to please
Up the pool.
9.) 26 Feb 2025 14:51:27
@SamiKewell, and Salah will be sure to show those pearly whites as wide as possible should he score, too after @Neg's ringing endorsement.
10.) 26 Feb 2025 17:25:29
I've my reasons of a slight dislike of Salah. I try to keep them to myself but for me as crazy as I'll be told I am. I believe Salah has cost us two titles.
Don't get me wrong he's an amazing human being has amazing stats had great speed and pace and one of the all time best injury record I can remember certainty in the last ten years not many have played to his level of games.
{Ed025's Note - your reason might be....that you support City Walter?..
11.) 26 Feb 2025 17:52:54
Cost us 2 titles that we would’ve been nowhere near winning if he hadn’t scored so many goals throughout the season you mean?
I bet you were gutted on Sunday watching Pep get schooled by Slot.

Brilliant news for the club that Virgil is staying. Two more years of top performances and he might just go down as our best defender ever.
17 Apr 2025 20:28:05
Ohh that's one thing I don't want to see.
14 Apr 2025 16:28:38
Darwin will probably do really well in Spain Italy and bang in double didgets league goals.
If the fella gets sold hopefully we get a decent fee and both player and club can get on to better situations.
14 Apr 2025 16:23:35
That's some darn bad luck. Hopefully the fella makes a speedy recovery.
09 Apr 2025 10:14:48
If Salah was truly this brilliant player surely he would change up his style of play to receive a pass.
He can't just rely on Trent to assist him. He needs to adapt for the betterment of the team.
It a team game after all.
{Ed001's Note - neggy it is not that simple, even Rush and Dalglish were reliant on service. What you are saying just shows a complete lack of understanding of the game.}

Or just play Bradley coz he's the better player of the 2. Ideally you need your best players in the team to win the matches/ league.
21 Apr 2025 00:12:17
I think most of the 7 or so teams to win the premier League have this issue.
There's the fear factor of not performing the next season and often pick out weak points in the team in the hope better replacements will guarantee success.
21 Apr 2025 00:08:07
What will you do if we lose? Hopefully you can take the next match off.
Would be my kind of luck then have to work when we win it.
20 Apr 2025 18:41:10
Brilliant player before injury. Now fully rested for next season and some team going to benefit big time.
19 Apr 2025 19:00:30
No Bradley is the one. Better than Trent and better than peters.
