I have read an article which has quoted Domenico Berardi as saying he would choose to play for Liverpool over any other clubs. I appreciate there were tentative links with the player and Liverpool a few years ago, given his age, ability to play across the front and, I am assuming, lesser fee compared to that of a “Marquee” nature, is this an option for LFC? Is he someone that the flub have or are considering?

I appreciate your time as always.

{Ed002's Note - No, the club has not shown any interest in Berardi.}

1.) 13 May 2019 13:42:58
Ok, I appreciate your reply Ed. Have a good day.

{Ed002's Note - And you.}

2.) 13 May 2019 14:58:26
I bought him in Fifa 16 and he was a beast. Grew to 90+ overall. Highly recommend.

3.) 13 May 2019 19:49:44
Ewwwwwww fifa 16. he's hard lol.

Morning all,

A question for Ed02 if possible. I understand and appreciate it is impossible for you to predict exactly what will happen with any degree of certainty as to the incomings and outgoings for the summer, however I am hoping to learn from you your understanding or knowledge as to any prioritised areas for strengthening and as to who has been looked at to potentially fulfil those requirements, in line with what would be considered financially viable to the club ( (my knowledge of finances is not sufficient enough to want any in depth explaination and would likely be something you'd rather not get into) . I have looked at search engine but I fear my question is a little too generic to answer.

I would imagine you have answered similar, if not, identical questions to this and I have simply failed to locate it.

Accept my apologies if I have missed this and if wastes your time in trying to answer a question addressed before.

Have a great day all.

{Ed002's Note - Need G cover, CB cover, LB/RB cover and LM - could look to a Creative AM player (along the lines of Fekir (as an example)) and drop Shaqiri and Keita down the pecking order. The club would also need to replace Salah, Mane or Firmino if any were to leave. This has all been addressed.}

1.) 29 Apr 2019 12:13:06
I figured it would have been, however, I appreciate your time and response, Ed.

2.) 29 Apr 2019 12:24:01
From what I know is the following …. Houssem Aouar (Lyon) has been scouted, Adrien Rabiot (PSG) is a consideration even though Eds say he’s off elsewhere. Felipe Anderson (Hammers) has been looked at but Julian Brandt seems to be a sensible option. Jay DaSilva (LB from Chelsea) has also been scouted but Bristol City are in poll position. I heard Danny Wellbeck on a free is also a consideration for rotation … whilst I got hammered for this it makes sense as he is on a free, EPL proven and covers a few positions. From the fringe first teamers Nat Philips is a CB who and Brewster may move up whereas the Academy / U23’s offers Hoever (RB) and Glatzel are ones to watch out for.

{Ed025's Note - i was reading that avidly until i seen the welbeck shout KC, you have to stop reading the beano mate.. :)

3.) 29 Apr 2019 12:45:06
Ed025 - In my defense a number of my friends love cheap vino and synthetic drugs which means I do hear some BS from time to time.

{Ed025's Note - ahh thats it then KC...nice one mate..

4.) 29 Apr 2019 13:17:18
That list sounds quite expensive Ed002?

{Ed002's Note - What list? Players are needed as cover - I have explained that the club should look to the likes of Adam Lewis who is already on the books. I don't see anything other than a creative AM as expensive. If however, the club were to lose someone like Salah, they would likely spend a good amount to replace him.}

5.) 29 Apr 2019 13:53:08
Sorry Ed do you have Brandt down as the creative AM player or as the LM needed please?

{Ed002's Note - He is not really a LM player - he has turned from playing LW to AM.}

6.) 29 Apr 2019 14:17:23
Ok mate thank you. Ever since you mentioned him again I’ve been watching him and I really hope we sign him.

{Ed002's Note - There is of course interest from elsewhere, but it is certainly possible.}

7.) 29 Apr 2019 20:08:35
Ok Ed thank you mate.

8.) 30 Apr 2019 00:02:24
Ed002 gave a comprehensive run down a week or 2 ago:

Ed002's Note - Need G, CB, LB/ RB cover and LM - could look to a Creative AM player (along the lines of Fekir (as an example) ) and drop Shaqiri and Keita down the pecking order The club would also need to replace Salah, Mane or Firmino if any were to leave.

GK - Liverpool should look for someone who can be trusted, is older, homegrown and can help with the younger goalkeepers and youth coaching

RB is a difficult position for Liverpool to address unless TAA is moved to midfield (as Ed001 tells me is the plan) and a new first team player arrives - although finding space for TAA in midfield still looks tough to me. There is no natural RB in the U23s who can step up, or so I am told, but we also know that Gomez can provide cover as well. In terms of who the club has looked at, I can only say that I am aware of one player, but no doubt there will be others:
Kenny Lala (RB/ RM) only just signed a new contract Racing Strasbourg but has been looked at by the club - not sure if he would be available
If you were to ask me who I think is a viable option but the club has shown no interest in, I would say Valentino Lazaro (RM/ RW/ RB) who would be a great fix for providing cover for the whole right hand side.

The situation at LB is rather different as there is an up and coming player able to step in to Moreno’s position of providing cover. However, I keep being reminded that thought persist about Lloyd Kelly (LB/ CB) who has been used more in the CB role as Bristol City have a young LB on loan who is clearly preferred. I cannot say whether or not there is any firm interest in Lloyd Kelly (CB), but I can say that Liverpool have looked at a couple of younger CBs as I have explained and other potential options like both Lloyd Kelly and Aidan Wilson who have been "recommended" to the club by an "agent" who may be open to cutting corners (and would be the last person on earth to discuss any of this with me) . More than that I cannot say without some issues arising.
So my advice would be to utilise what the club has or risk losing him:
Adam Lewis (LB) I think he should be promoted to provide cover, in which case LB cover becomes less of an issue
I cannot answer what the club’s views are on Juanma (LB/ CB) but it doesn’t look like he will be able to make the step up given what we have seen in the past 18 months appearance/ bench wise.

CB is easier to deal with but one thing to be remembered is that if Liverpool are to bring in a first pick CB then Gomez becomes available to play or cover either FB position in addition to CB. Although if a ub and coming CB like Godrey or Fry were signed, then Gomez would likely be first pick and they could replace Matip perhaps?
Diego Llorente (CB) has been watched by Marseille, Spurs, Atletico Madrid, Liverpool, West Ham, Fulham and Sevilla since joining Real Sociedad in the summer - Spurs could be tempted as they expect TA to leave – and I would not rule out a Liverpool offer
Dael Fry (CB) Liverpool has a declared interest in Fry as they look to bolster the HG quota - knowing that prices will increase - much is expected of Fry
Ben Godfrey (CB) - an option to Fry
Ruben Dias (CB) Liverpool have watched the Benfica CB on several occasions and watched him in a national game against Croatia in September - however, he is heading elsewhere
de ligt (CB) I am not aware of any de Ligt rumours involving Liverpool and they have certainly not expressed any interest – although many of the fans have raised the issue repeatedly. Dayot Upamecano is similar in that Liverpool has shown no interest but people still ask about.
Francisco Ferreira (CB) has also been mentioned and I will remind regular readers that was one of the three young CBs Liverpool looked at in 2017 with a view to taking one in January 2018. He is priced the way he is in order to turn any potential buyers away, such as Manchester City, West Ham and Borussia Dortmund who have also shown a little interest and watched him in the B side over the past 18 months. Anecdotally, the other two were Modibo Sagnan (he will be moving to Real Sociedad in the summer) and Perr Schuurs (he was expected to join Liverpool at 18 – but moved to Ajax) .
And my thoughts on who Liverpool should look to: Jorge Mere (CB) of Cologne, Marseille's Boubacar Kamara (CB) and RBL's Ibrahima Konate (CB) – all young with expectations set very high.

In terms of the DM position I doubt Liverpool will look to adding anyone unless there is a plan to change the way they play, but:
Sandro Tonali (DM) there has been interest from Liverpool but he is going to be very expensive and it is hard to see where he will fit in – I expect him to stay in Italy

Midfield CM is not a position where much is likely to happen but Liverpool need Lallana to be available more often or look to replace him with a LM player:
Nicolo Barella (CM) Whilst it is true that Nicolo Barella is of interest to Liverpool and has been watched a couple of times recently, he is being priced at the very top end of his market value, and Barella has made it clear that he wants to be a starter and stay in Italy - so difficult unless Liverpool plan to move Naby Keïta on to raise the money and make space in the side, it seems an unlikely move. is not a position where much is likely to happen
Diego Laxalt (LM) Long term interest will come to nothing as he looks to be heading elsewhere
Bruno Fernandes (AM) is of interest to Everton, Manchester United, Milan and Liverpool who have all looked at him on two or more occasions. Spurs maintain an interest but only if Christian Eriksen leaves. Asking price has more than doubled from what was already a high price in recent months and that has pushed aside interest from Juventus who don't see the value, Valencia and CSKA. Whilst Bayern Munich and another EPL side have looked as well, neither have a declared interest that I know of and both have other AM targets.
Julian Brandt (LW/ AM) if he is available Liverpool will be one of the interested clubs – and I expect him to be available and the focus of attention.
Joao Felix (AM) is not a player Liverpool has spoken to his club about and a lot of efforts are being made to finalise a move elsewhere.

Wings and Forwards:
Paulo Dybala (AM/ RW/ F) is another one of the nailed on players that is perhaps not as nailed on as people think – however, he is available and Juventus are open not use him in a little horse trading for either Icardi (who is likely heading elsewhere) or Salah (whose “agent” has been knocking on their door for a while trying to make a move happen. Would be a decent Salah replacement.
Nicolas Pepe (RW) two sides are in discussions with Lille and Liverpool has no declared interest – if they did it would be as a Salah replacement – I would not hold your breath
Federico Chiesa (RW) significant interest from elsewhere and Fiorentina planning on pricing him out of a move at something like €120M, Liverpool has shown no interest, but if they do it would be as a Salah replacement
Lorenzo Insigne (LW) – has been mentioned regularly but would be a Salah or Mane replacement but very, very expensive €150M asking price
Everton (LW) Manchester City don't see value in the €50M asking price and Milan see him as a potential option – I am not aware of any declared interest from Liverpool
Thorgan Hazard (LW/ AM) Borussia Monchengladbach have confirmed discussions with one club, the interest of another and that their player have been watched by a number of sides including Liverpool – there are apparently no offers on the table and no further discussions are planned before the end of the season – so currently no more than a tenuous link
Timo Werner (S) It has been reported by the Fat Kid from Bolton that a deal for Werner was agreed with RBL in January – it wasn’t. Someone else (whose name escapes me) has apparently said again recently that the deal with RBL is agreed and it is just the salary deal to be figured out – this is all news to Leipzig who have been speaking to Bayern Munich trying to agree a price. There has certainly be interest from Klopp but right now there is no deal in place at all. It is had to see how Werner would fit in unless there is a change of style.
Silas Wamangituka (S) I am not aware of any declaration of interest from Liverpool in Silas Wamangituka but he has certainly been watched by them so it is certainly possible it will come. Barcelona and numerous other sides, including several from England such as Brighton, Leicester and Spurs have also taken a look. A problem the English sides have is he will never be eligible to be home grown and would likely not get a work permit - whereas Barcelona don't have any such issues. I would not hold your breath.

Outbound (perhaps) :

Simon Mignolet (G) maybe
Loris Karius (G)

Alberto Moreno (LB)

Nathaniel Clyne (RB)

Joel Matip (CB) will make way if a new CB is to be added

Marco Grujic (CM) perhaps another loan, no assurance he will get a WP in England
James Milner (CM/ RM) perhaps
Adam Lallana (LM)
Alan (CM) can't get a WP - a further loan to Fluminese

Sheyi Ojo (RW)
Harry Wilson (RW) needs to make a decision and talk to the club to see if there will ever be a chance for him at Liverpool - there is serious interest in him now
Ryan Kent (LW)

Divock Origi (F) perhaps but right now I expect him to stay
Daniel Sturridge (S)
Bobby Adekanye (S)
Taiwo Awoniyi (S) won't get a WP
Danny Ings (F)

9.) 30 Apr 2019 07:49:30
Why get rid of matip he has filled in excellent this season an been a part of the excellent defensive record.

{Ed001's Note - you mean other than when his mistakes put an end to the run of clean sheets? But I do understand your point, as a back up he is not so bad, just that we should not really have back ups. We should have players good enough to fight for the place and he simply is not that.}

10.) 30 Apr 2019 10:11:43
Brandt will be interesting.

We may get to see a perfect example of everything that Ed2 has said and taught us around how we over pay and are punished in the market. It will also be a good example in how ’release clauses’ are potentially irrelevant and how papers talk trash.

A player with a widely reported £21.5m clause (apparently), I don't expect Eds to talk money but I can't see us paying less than £40m if we went for him.

11.) 30 Apr 2019 12:23:27
My problem with retaining Matip AND Lovren comes from the selection dilemma if VVD is injured/ suspended.
They are not good enough as cover especially if you consider Gomez’s injury record.

I would target Alderweireld. He is in his prime but also may not be able to play 50-60 games a season so he could rotate with Joe when everyone is available. He will help Joe’s game as I believe he is an excellent defender and reads the game.

{Ed001's Note - my problem with all 3, and Alderweireld, is injuries. All of them seem to miss large chunks of every season through injury. I would prefer us to look at someone who is at least reliable.}

12.) 30 Apr 2019 17:36:06
Beckers Gloves, the 'release clause' is a red herring. It is (I think) €25m BUT only applies to other clubs in the German league. There is no release clause if other clubs from outside Germany (i. e. us) coma-a-calling. That's as per Ed002 who explained this in a post a while back.

13.) 01 May 2019 15:34:10
ED001, who out there do you think ticks the boxes you are looking for in a CB? Personally (and hypothetically) of course.

{Ed001's Note - the dream signing would be Jose Gimenez from Atletico. Can play left and right side of defence as well.}

14.) 01 May 2019 15:46:04
That would be the dream Ed001. Is he available/ attainbale? Can imagine he'd be expensive at only 24 unless he was in the last year or so of his contract?

You've got me dreaming Ed!

{Ed001's Note - no mate, they just sold one centre back, Godin is likely to leave too.}

15.) 01 May 2019 16:14:15
Shame that Ed! Couldn't see us ever conceding again if he came in ;)

Back to the drawing board.

16.) 02 May 2019 13:55:20
Interesting, Ed001. While we are at it, who do you think would make the best fit for AM then?

Kind regards.

26 Apr 2019 11:10:03
Hi Ed's,

Wondering if you could help, my Daughter plays for the Exeter City women's academy and she was training last night, her age group is immediately before the U18's men. I had noticed that a certain Alex Inglethorpe was there with 2 other men and made his way to the all weather pitch to, I assume, watch the session. I know he had previous connections with City but are you aware of any interest (at Youth Level) in any youngsters at the grecians?

Wishing all a good day.

{Ed001's Note - it is impossible to keep track at that level mate sorry. Clubs watch thousands of youngsters around the world.}

1.) 26 Apr 2019 11:27:31
I can understand that mate, I appreciate your response. Have a good day and weekend 👍.

{Ed001's Note - if anyone is in a position to find out mate, it is you. This is your moment to become the one who has the info!}

2.) 26 Apr 2019 11:42:49
I am friends with a fair few of the 1st teamers down there, so I will ask about, not that they are too forthcoming with much 😂. Cheers mate, if it’s of interest to people I will let you all know.

{Ed001's Note - footballers tend not to know too much about what is going on until the last minute, unless they are the ones agitating for a move.}

3.) 26 Apr 2019 12:09:44
It's Ben Chrisene
England under 15 international.

{Ed002's Note - Thanks.}

4.) 26 Apr 2019 18:03:39
Inglethorpe was at the fact youth cup final last night.

09 Apr 2019 08:09:27
Morning All,
A question for the Ed’s if possible. There appears to be a fair amount of interest in Camacho, especially from Portugal, however, there has been scribblings that Wolves have a level of interest in signing him also. Are you aware of what the clubs intentions are with him, or indeed, what the player himself feels he needs for this stage of his career? Be that staying at LFC where it seems evident 1st team football ( regular) seems a reasonable way off for him or if he feels regular football is needed now at another club?

Many thanks.

{Ed002's Note - There are growing issues with younger players having the expectation that they should be playing in the first team. This is not just a problem at Liverpool as other clubs have a similar problems, for example, Manchester City lost Sancho and both Fulham and Chelsea are losing young players this summer for the same reason. If a suitable offer is made then I would expect Liverpool to take the much needed money.}

1.) 09 Apr 2019 10:13:02
Thanks for the response Ed, much appreciated.

2.) 09 Apr 2019 12:58:24
Ed with regard to your answer above should we be reading in to the 'much needed money' comment or was it just a turn of phrase? I only ask as I can't see us gaining all that much financially from a youth player and we have already have money from Ings sale this summer and the solanke money in January.

{Ed002's Note - I would not worry about the finances, and certainly not the Solanke money.}

3.) 09 Apr 2019 15:44:41
@Ohyoubeauty We have done rather well recently selling young players that aren't going to make it with us for decent money.

Jerome Sinclair, Brad Smith, Jordan Ibe, Dominic Solanke.

If there's decent demand for Camacho, I've plenty of confidence that we'll get a decent fee for him.

4.) 09 Apr 2019 18:32:47
Thanks Ed for your response. Thanks epic I agree, I think we have done really well with some of the fee's lately. I know it doesn't directly effect us fans however it is good to know the club are being run in a positive fashion both on and off the pitch. To compete for the top signings we have to have the finances so it goes hand in hand really.

5.) 10 Apr 2019 01:34:48
unfortunately it appears to be a side earner for big clubs. snap up all young talent. play odd game and sell for few mill. wouldn't be surprised if likes of wilson. woodburn. brewster. duncan. awayoni. allen. hoever all went in next 2 years. £60m in bank as very few make it to 1st team.

{Ed0333's Note - I would be super surprised if the powers that be are looking to sell Brewster, Duncan and Hoever. They are on a trajectory to stardom I would assume.

30 Jan 2017 20:08:13
Evening Ed's,

Henry Onyekuru, agent and a club representative suggesting Liverpool are interested in a deal potentially this window. Any substance to this to your knowledge?

Really appreciate your time

{Ed002's Note - I don't know but am aware of what the player has said - Celtic were certainly looking at him. At the end of the day I think he is far, far away from being ready for the Premier League.}

1.) 30 Jan 2017 20:17:25
Thabk you for the swift reply, have a terrific evening

{Ed002's Note - And you MonsterMunch - if that is your real name.}

2.) 30 Jan 2017 20:41:52
could be our rashford an unknown last ten put him on.

Will be Brighton do us a madness on Sunday, folks?

1.) 10 May 2019 08:40:17
You’ve got to have some hope. We have to win as well don’t forget and this Wolves won’t roll over for us. Anything can happen in football!

2.) 10 May 2019 08:43:22
the way this week is going we can pray and hope!

3.) 10 May 2019 08:49:46
After this week anything is possible. I have a weird feeling that it will finish 0-0.

4.) 10 May 2019 09:59:39
It would be a miracle if Brighton got something, but after what we done this week and spurs it will inspire Brighton too believe miracles happen! Anything Is possible!

5.) 10 May 2019 10:44:36
I think Brighton will give there all. I'm sure they do not want to see any club celebrating on their pitch. I expect an incredibly inspired Brighton Sunday.

6.) 10 May 2019 11:03:58
No chance in my view! Brighton will get well beaten, remember, they are 17th.

7.) 10 May 2019 11:46:58
City will put at least 4 passed them. With no reply.

8.) 10 May 2019 12:19:02
20-19 is all I see come Sunday. Miracles do happen and if BHA isn't 17th on the log, then it isn't a miracle. Believe mates!

9.) 10 May 2019 13:47:50
Just remember Man City needed a last minute goal to win their first PL title against an already relegated QPR. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Concentrate on beating Wolves and leave everything else in the lap of the gods. It's all we can do.

10.) 10 May 2019 14:06:34
😂 @ Ugbes, mate you’re getting close to the limit when you say “miracles do happen”.

I definitely think a draw is possible - ManU 0-0 West Ham the year Blackburn won it and we beat Blackburn.

Odd things happen, City needed a near miracle to win the title with the “Aguero moment” whilst playing a relegated team.

Beating Wolves will not be easy, they are a very good team!

02 May 2019 15:11:12
I am calling it. Leicester is will take points off City, we will win remaining games! Not one for predictions but f*ck it! With last nights result and the subsequent fall out, I am going to throw some positive vibes and thinking out there!

1.) 02 May 2019 16:23:07
Can you emagine if they do us a big favour, and then go and loose to wolves.

2.) 02 May 2019 16:50:37
What’s this ‘us’? You are clearly not a Liverpool supporter so it should be ‘you’.

3.) 02 May 2019 16:59:47
Walter not going to lie your post made me laugh!

4.) 02 May 2019 18:46:28
Mrs Walter: I've found a huge pot of gold and the authorities have said we can keep it! Wow, we can pay off the mortgage and everything! Look at it!

Walter: Are you sure that pot's not made from asbestos?

5.) 02 May 2019 18:55:11
WW, he is a Liverpool supporter, I'm sure.

He's just either being a WUM or has developed this miserably pessimistic attitude as a defense mechanism so he's treating supporting the club as a zero risk game where he'll always "win" on the basis that if something bad happens he was expecting it, so he won't be disappointed. And if something good happens, well Liverpool won something, so being wrong about it before hand is irrelevant.

Riot to be around in the pub, I'm sure.

6.) 02 May 2019 19:05:15
SR, spot on mate that's how I view Walter too. Although part of me thinks deep down he's as positive as the rest of us yet just loves winding people up lol either way, there's no doubting he loves Liverpool like the rest of us, that's enough for me, I like Walter.

7.) 02 May 2019 19:28:26
With you all the way, OP.

How's you fav. PL club Arsenal doing these days?

8.) 02 May 2019 20:43:51
Well Walter could be proved right at the end of the season. I have to say, I hate it when posters say you're not a fan because you don't have their opinion. It takes all sorts, posters should respect that.

9.) 02 May 2019 21:07:17
Irish Rover, of course everyone is entitled to their opinion but this site is surely for Liverpool supporters to express their opinion with the occasional supporter from another club who comes in peace. Just ask yourself this - have you ever come across a Liverpool supporter anywhere in the world who has only negative opinions about the club, the manager and the players? Because I haven’t.

10.) 02 May 2019 21:50:43
I'm having a skip Walter's post's week I feel my blood pressure may improve.

11.) 02 May 2019 22:23:16
Irish Rover, Wirral Wonder is correct. Walter has been banging on about how Arsenal is better than LFC (how he works that out, beggars belief) all season so pls, he has set himself up to be picked on for prolly not being an LFC fan, just like Harry has been. If he wants to post on here banging on about how Arsenal is better than us and being negative towards us all the time then he should be ready to take the blow-back that comes with it. If Walter can't stand the heat, he should get out of the kitchen.

12.) 03 May 2019 06:14:05
Guys for the love of Fowler I am LFC till I die. Just want the club to do well. nothing more.
Ps yes I think Arsenal a a decent team. I fully expect them to do very well next season.

13.) 03 May 2019 07:02:56
I didn't think this site was to "pick on" a poster. That's the issue.

02 May 2019 08:31:46
Absolutely gutted with last nights result, as we all are. I was really pleased with the way we performed, seemed very much in control and remained calm even after conceding the first and second goals, there was a belief we would nick a goal. We had a good few opportunities to score, 2 of which would have been scored 9 times out of 10. Sadly, we just weren’t clinical enough, Barcelona were. That Messi free kick was ridiculous. It makes for a tough second leg, knowing that we can’t concede and also score 3 just to take to Extra time, but we have to play the game, so when there is a game, there is always hope, we overturned a 3 goal deficit in 45 minutes in Instanbul against a fine Milan side, so there is no reason we can’t do the same. Here’s hoping. On to Newcastle! WE GO AGAIN!

1.) 02 May 2019 09:59:27
I couldn't agree more with your take on the game. It might seem difficult from a point but for the return leg to be in front of the fans, is the best time to react. We were the better side all through and yet tasted defeat. We need to continue to push and let's see what the end of the season holds. Regardless of the end, this is a BIG STEP forward for the club and we are two to three players short of matching MAN CITY.

2.) 02 May 2019 10:09:56
Not sure it’s a good idea invoking we go again. Last time Gerrard got all players in a huddle after a game and repeated those words it didn’t turn out as well as we would have liked.

There seems to be a fair bit of vitriol aimed towards Ed02 tonight, whilst what has been suggested about Klopp may not make for pretty reading, I feel it is something that has been highlighted numerous times over the course of his tenure. I feel a little aggrieved at some of the ridiculous posts aimed towards Ed on the basis it does not fit with personal agenda’s. I am not attacking anyone, however, it seems a little silly to be grasping at every shared word regarding incomings as gospel, yet anything other than what would be deemed as positive is labelled as “Bias towards LFC etc. It smacks of selective reading, simply if you are unable to take the rough with the smooth, then perhaps an open and honest forum is not the best setting for you.

I apologise if this comes across as rude, however, I feel a little respect for and appreciation for what the Ed’s give to site and its users is much needed.

Ed’s, keep up the fantastic work and the honesty of your posts/ responses

Have a great evening all.

{Ed002's Note - Thanks, you can munch on my monster anytime. I would have to charge you of course.}

1.) 23 Apr 2019 21:16:21
Ed002 would your monster be pickled or flaming hot pickled would probably be less painful.

{Ed002's Note - £825 an you can come and find out.}

2.) 23 Apr 2019 21:20:52
Ed, you are too sweet. Perhaps payment in Gin?!

{Ed002's Note - I am stuck in an airport hotel awaiting and early flight working my way through the gin right now.}

3.) 23 Apr 2019 21:22:00
If it's pickled I'm there Ed.

4.) 23 Apr 2019 21:24:02
I have £4.18 on me what does that get me!

{Ed002's Note - I think one stop on the tube in London.}

5.) 23 Apr 2019 22:02:43
Without the input of all the Eds we would not have a great website, you have to remember they are only human beings like us. So will have good days and bad days and family/ health issues like all of us mere mortals have, they are not saints which reminds me belated "Happy St Georges Day" to all Eds and Posters.

6.) 23 Apr 2019 22:05:08
I don't think I have been vitriolic towards ed2 in the related posts below. just stating that so it is clear about what I say isn't intended to justify the position.

My thoughts are that the info on the related topic are basically only provided by ed2, which is golden. It means that we don't have all the info and therefore most of the time are responding with hearts over head.

However ed2's thoughts are shared with ed2's opinion laced through it. We all love how direct ed2 is, but, rightly or wrongly that can cut through the heart of some posters here. And in a season where everything has been so warm and bubbly, to me it isn't a surprise to see that ed2's comments about Klopp have riled some people!

So morale of the story, we are all human and emotional in our own way. let's move on and turn into Manchester United fans for 90-odd minutes.!

7.) 23 Apr 2019 21:56:19
Ed002 is drunk; which means I am not leaving the site tonight. It’s sad, but I live for these nights.

8.) 24 Apr 2019 08:40:31
Benny, you have my sincere sympathies if this is the only way you can get your thrills! 😂.

05 Apr 2019 13:42:32
Does anybody do predictions? Personally I do not as I often come unstuck, however, if you do, I would love to see your predictions for tonight’s game. I will remain, as ever, cautiously optimistic 👍.

1.) 05 Apr 2019 13:50:06
I’m going for a cagey 2-1 Liverpool.

2.) 05 Apr 2019 13:53:37
That sounds a fair shout to me, mate.

3.) 05 Apr 2019 13:58:36
2-0, goalscorers Virgil and Mane.

4.) 05 Apr 2019 14:11:08
I'm always wrong mate with predictions but I'll go with a win for us 3-0.

5.) 05 Apr 2019 15:02:28
I’ll take that all day long, mate.

6.) 05 Apr 2019 15:04:07
There is a hat trick in you Salah just waiting to get out so tonight's going to be a good night lol.

7.) 05 Apr 2019 15:16:15
It'll be tight 1 0 or we'll hammer them 5 1.

8.) 05 Apr 2019 15:30:25
We have a clean sheet today.

9.) 05 Apr 2019 15:46:38
We win.

10.) 05 Apr 2019 16:04:33
Yep I'm on Liverpool to win to nil Virgil to score. Nearly went for an outside bet for robbo to score!

11.) 05 Apr 2019 16:18:35
I see Southampton going for it, and us tearing them to shreds when they leave space. 3-1 minimum to Liverpool, Salah to get a double.

12.) 05 Apr 2019 16:33:25
3-4 to LFC 🤝.

13.) 05 Apr 2019 17:03:19
4-1 to us. Midfield finally getting into goals.

14.) 05 Apr 2019 17:19:40
3 nil.

15.) 05 Apr 2019 17:29:13
0-4 2 Salah 1 Mane 1 Firmino or Origi
I feel tonight we are gone have a great game.

{Ed025's Note - i think your feeder club will be a bit better than that albanian mate..

16.) 05 Apr 2019 17:31:40
I'm going to predict my wife will come home and say why are you drinking beer in the bath and have only cleaned out 1 Hedgehog.

17.) 05 Apr 2019 17:53:38
Verdo I thought that too - could almost see him hitting a couple of hat tricks in the run in.

18.) 05 Apr 2019 18:02:40
Late to the party but for me, we go top again and it's only a matter of time before we stay top till May. As for tonight, I think Salah will finally hit the bullseye to seal a 3-0 win for us. Just feel Keita will come in and put in a shift also. All we can do now is believe though I really hate it when my fate is in the hands of another but to run this City side till now is nothing but pride for me. Funny to think in reality that if this were 2013/ 2014, we would have sealed the title already.

19.) 05 Apr 2019 18:19:55
Your wife's dirty talk leaves a lot to be desired Lord Ha Ha!

{Ed025's Note - love it rugby..

20.) 05 Apr 2019 18:21:13
My full time job is sporting predictions.

Main prediction. Liverpool to Win and Clean Sheet

Correct Score: 2-0

Lake View Lad EW in the Grand National and for the bigger odds punters have a few pence ew on Regal Encore at 66/ 1.

21.) 05 Apr 2019 18:25:59
I’ll settle for a competent all round performance which proves our complete superiority. Not bothered with the score as long as we win - but no injuries please. Cherry on the cake would be Naby Keita man of the match 👍🏻.

22.) 05 Apr 2019 20:55:00
Rugby Parker
Normally she calls me a c#*t which is quite dirty.

23.) 05 Apr 2019 22:39:12
Looks like Ugbes was nearly on the money.

24.) 05 Apr 2019 23:40:02
To be fair, i was pretty close!

{Ed025's Note - you were rugby, but can you explain how salah got MOTM?, he was dog shite for 99% of the game but scored a great goal, surely there has to be more to it than that mate?..

25.) 06 Apr 2019 02:05:49
Ed25, agree with you . they given him man of the match so they can talk to him about his 50th goal. But to be fair they weren't many other candidates. probably Hendo but he didn't start.

{Ed025's Note - yeah roy nobody stood out in all fairness mate..

26.) 06 Apr 2019 07:17:55
LMAO Ed025 calling Salah's performance dog rubbish!
Are you sure you were not watching your beloved Everton's highlights where they get their backsides handed to them game after game?

{Ed025's Note - i like salah IB but i thought he was terrible bar for the goal, he would not get in our brazil of the 70,s side that played against west ham last week mate...we are BACK!.. :)

27.) 06 Apr 2019 08:44:01
Unfortunately i didn't see the game ed, as my missus wanted to play scrabble (yup, I know) . I don't pay much attention to motm awards to be honest, it's all too easy to give it to the person who did the most memorable thing in a game, rather than overall performance. As long as it's a Liverpool player, chances are we've won the game so I'm happy!

{Ed025's Note - didn,t see the game because your bird wanted to play scrabble??? come on rugby mate GET A GRIP MAN! really need to grow a set mate and i dont care if she looks like rachael riley or carol kirkwood mate the game always comes first, # man up.. :)

28.) 06 Apr 2019 09:55:17
Well done rugby and lerchy. Correct predictions!

29.) 06 Apr 2019 09:56:31
Im having trouble watching the games but its purely blood pressure related.

30.) 06 Apr 2019 10:04:59
Salah has been loaded with two defenders at least this season. But even so he managed to chip one into the top corner. Goal of the month and therefore worthy of motm.

31.) 07 Apr 2019 02:07:55
Let her play scrabble on line with Lady Ha Ha whilst you watch the match.

I am friends with a fair few of the 1st teamers down there, so I will ask about, not that they are too forthcoming with much 😂. Cheers mate, if it’s of interest to people I will let you all know.

{Ed001's Note - footballers tend not to know too much about what is going on until the last minute, unless they are the ones agitating for a move.}
