I heard of a rumour linking us to Porto's 22yr old LB in Rafa Soares. He hasn't even played a senior game for Porto only on loan to Rio Ave last season where he scored 3 goals and 7 assists. Is this some BS?

Didn't Manc sign a left back in Patrick Dorgu already? I think Kerkez deal is a possibility. Was it not Carragher (not sure) that was a childhood Blue nose fan? Anyways, I hope his international captain can do a job there for us.

He apparently plays for Bilbao in Spain and a Basque. Would expensive but a quality midfielder times I have watched him.

Honestly, Cherki worries me. Admittedly, the lad has it all in his locker. Can do everything but has a terrible end product (never seen him player but is stat is shocking) I mean is that not what concerns a lot of us on Ben Doak? Cherki will hamper Doak for me, who's already bringing more to the table for both club and country recently.

We ain't going to limp over the line. This was indeed the game I dreaded the most of the next 5. I thought based on our 2nd half performance, we deserved something from that match but it was not to be. We had a cross bar situation plus Mo and Jota could have done better with their sitters. The guard of honour from Arsenal is still on. Ynwa.

Would love to see how a front 3 of Gakpo - Cunha - Salah fares next season though. Mika Biereth is a rising star but I don't know much of him to speak of transfer. Would be nice to see the look on Artetas face, if he tears it up in the Prem though.

I'm really struggling to see the issue here. I get that leaving on a free leaves a sour taste in the mouth but again, these same fans singles TAA out for pelters after every match much like severy opposition fans with the last LIV vs City. He has a messed up reputation with England from when the wally in waist coat put the spot light on him. Look at Bellingham's reputation since he moved to Madrid. Many have said on here that he won't be missed, same people are miffed about the rumour of him leaving or I'm I missing something?
He's been here for about 20yrs and helped us win all we've won in these period, shattering records and if he wants a new challenge, so be it but I refuse these claims it's for the money. Its not like we've not been here before and became better for it. I genuinely wish him well and hope this serve as a lesson to the management that messes like these are avoidable. I think Someone should be made to answer for this though, esp cos he's leaving on a free. But I have got no qualms with the lad as there maybe a lot in there that isn't bare before us. We move on✊.

I think it's high time we asked ourselves this key question. What do we need the most in terms of silverwares as a club?
We have 6 big ears already but have 1 EPL in over 30yrs. For a club as big a LIV, that's disappointing. Now, we are in a very good position to add another and many are so critical of the owners, players and coaching staff. Can't we be grateful at least? We are suppose to be in transition and somehow, we are overwhelming fav for the EPL and it's all doom and gloom most match days. When did we become this entitled to win every competition we are in? In reality, we don't have that kind of depth in squad! City did it cos they have a £100m player, who's happy to be on the bench.
I think we the fans should be more grateful. At the start of the season, I would have jumped on the possibility of finishing in the top four and we made a final, topped the league phase of the UCL only to get KO on penalties (it's a lottery) and are 12pts clear atop the log. Slot is literally learning the league by playing competitive games. I am more than grateful for the season we have had so far and I think we shouldn't allow what other fans say on social media bring us under pressure to think any different. We are having a great season imo. Ynwa.
