Update,

Hoeness wants the job, LFC like him but the caveat is.

Julian Nagelsmann.

Big decisions ahead for the club.

Alonso is still off, Slot may oversee until Christmas now.

Expectatio, Nagelsmann will wait for LFC project proposal.

Very very very strange times, Edwards and Hughes must leave.

Hope everyone is well.

Ta.

Nagelsmann is the German Bodgers.

29 Apr 2026 00:37:37
FSG Out.

3

29 Apr 2026 01:19:06
Cheers, Carra.

Arne Slot is the caretaker manager while the directors gamble seasons away, yet preserve their myth as the smartest people in the room. Totally normal behaviour.

29 Apr 2026 02:23:35
Hi Carra,
Thanks for the update, but this seems to change day to day! Truth is, nobody knows what's happening imo.

1

29 Apr 2026 03:08:03
This is some caretaker job.

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.

29 Apr 2026 04:03:39
Cheers Carra, much appreciated as usual. These are very concerning times.

28 Apr 2026 18:16:46
Ed1 what's your take on Slot "potentially" staying according to the press mouth pieces and now some of the ITK's? I find it a hard thing to understand when slot has been unsettled and clearly homesick.

2

https://liverpool-rumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_Ed001.png avatar{Ed001's Note - isn't that what I have been saying all along? That the only reason he might leave is his unhappiness in England.}

7

28 Apr 2026 18:46:29
Slot staying. New deal will be offered.

3

28 Apr 2026 18:53:25
Knowing LFC and FSG, Southgate will replace Clot, egg heads!

Another spanking off Man Utd to come this Sunday 3.30 pm KO. Cunha was rested last night, not needed. They whack us, third spot signed, sealed and delivered by agent Clot!

7

28 Apr 2026 19:14:06
Cunha wasn't rested, he is injured. Calling someone else Clot is peak irony.

18

28 Apr 2026 19:27:07
I see no sense in offering Slot a new deal at this point. Start next season the way we have played this & end of last, his position will again, quite rightly, be questioned.
He's shown no indication that he can arrest the situation & could go same way as BR.

5

28 Apr 2026 19:29:21
I'm patiently waiting to laugh at your post Flo

8

28 Apr 2026 19:46:36
007, give your negativity a rest.

8

28 Apr 2026 20:38:22
So hang on a minute baldy is staying ED001 Jesus christ

2

28 Apr 2026 21:03:30
Knowing LFC and FSG? FSG, who appointed Klopp and then Slot, who won the Premier League in his first season. Give it a rest. He's far from perfect, but it's getting ridiculous on here.

9

28 Apr 2026 21:26:50
So assuming he stays, what is the plan with this team? There is no consistency in any guise, be it tactically, form, style, speed of play, lineups (of course injuries notwithstanding) etc. Nevermind, results, it's just boring to watch. I just have no idea what the actual aim is for the future of this team. Does Slot?

3

28 Apr 2026 21:49:55
Where is all this info he staying or going coming from? Hardly heard anything in the news, except on here. It would be stupidity at its best if he stays. Never been so bored watching us.

5

28 Apr 2026 22:13:52
Strom, you're joking, aren't you? It was all over the press last week that he's set to continue. Some of the supposed ITK's on here reckon he will still leave. Bottom line is, if he stays we're finished. Watching Bayern and PSG this evening shows we're light years away.

5

28 Apr 2026 22:24:05
That Diaz lad looks decent, thankfully, we've got Gakpo though.

11

29 Apr 2026 01:17:24
This constant pining after Diaz is frankly embarrassing. He's no better than Trent in my eyes. This was a player who, after we supported him and his family through their most difficult time, when his father was kidnapped, got his father to come out and say that Barca was his dream club and that he'd like to play there one day.

That's a slap in the face if I ever saw one. And the only reason why he went to Bayern instead of Barca despite Barca being in for him was because Bayern offered him more money.

The mistake was not that we sold Diaz. The mistake was that we didn't get a replacement in for him for the LW.

3

28 Apr 2026 13:38:22
Hi all,

Liverpool are seriously looking at Diogo Costa of Porto.

22

28 Apr 2026 14:41:36
Yeah, not too sure about that one, considering Talksport posted it, so would not be sure.

6

28 Apr 2026 15:01:45
Aaahhhhhh Vg

That news means Allison is seriously being considered as a sell this summer?!

Wow.. That will hit hard. Very very sad news.

2

28 Apr 2026 15:29:44
Ali would be a huge loss. The best keeper in the PL for a long time now, but injuries do appear to be becoming more frequent.

3

28 Apr 2026 16:05:44
He was awful when we played them back in 2021. I mean, like a proper clown! And was at fault for a number of our goals. He conceded 7 over 2 games.

That said, Alisson conceded 9 over two games playing for Roma against us prior to signing so he would be in good company!

5

28 Apr 2026 16:14:43
I remember that game, Goaldigger. Atrocious. Apparently he's a top keeper though. I've a coupla Manc mates who were mad to get him when they were linked to him.

3

28 Apr 2026 16:22:43
I only know him from Football Manager and he is considered one of the best goalkeepers in the game.

4

28 Apr 2026 16:24:15
Looks good with his feet.

I just wish Ali could stay fit, but he picks up so many injuries these days.

Would love to have a top goalkeeper that stays fit most, if not all, year. Would help a lot with consistency in the backline.

Ali is such a top keeper. I have a bad feeling about selling a talent and leader such as him.

5

28 Apr 2026 16:30:07
It would be nice to have VVD and Ali see out their contracts and get to play for 1 year with a proper set up and under a top class manager one last time.

10

28 Apr 2026 16:38:57
Monitoring this one closely.

2

28 Apr 2026 15:14:30
Not sure if VG or Ed's can correct me but I am sure he was one of the goalkeepers on the list with Mamadashvilli to come in around then. Maybe Alisson has decided to see out the final year and Mamadashvilli not happy to be sidelined again which was the rumours in January

2

28 Apr 2026 16:53:50
Look decent with the ball at his feet.

2

28 Apr 2026 17:54:30
I'd rather resign Kelleher than Costa.

9

28 Apr 2026 18:03:58
Party couldn't agree more.
Great keeper is Kelleher.

2

28 Apr 2026 18:11:13
Re-sign Peter Gulacsi.

0

28 Apr 2026 18:39:39
A goalkeeper is only as good as the defence/team in front of him. The defending has been dreadful this season. Step forward Con-ate, who "couldn't defend an Innocent Man".

It's more important that a GK is good with his hands, not his feet.

His number one job is to stop goals, not create them. There are ten outfield players to create goals.

Maureen returns to manage RM, rumours Alonso in Chelsea talks? We end up with Clot again, another bad defensive record next season.

2

28 Apr 2026 19:20:35
So good with his feet that he'll be able to fill in at RB.

1

28 Apr 2026 10:24:51.
If Arne Slot remains in charge, he plans to overhaul some parts of his coaching staff and significantly adapt his training methods.

John Heitinga is keen to return to the club as part of the potential new setup. Arne Slot would also look at potential adding a Set Piece Coach.

6

28 Apr 2026 11:11:17
Perhaps Sean O'Driscoll is available.

They have been looking for a set piece coach, on/off, for almost two years.

2

28 Apr 2026 11:43:46
So the players will only get 3 days off instead of 4 then.

19

28 Apr 2026 11:56:08
Does he plan to obsess over Arsenal and their set pieces instead of PSG?

21

28 Apr 2026 12:27:44
Personally speaking, and possibly some other posters, are waiting for Carra's latest post to clarify if there is any change to the situation regarding Slot and a new coach.

7

28 Apr 2026 12:28:25
If Arne Slot stays, the season is over already.

33

28 Apr 2026 12:48:07
You're probably right FC8 mate.

6

28 Apr 2026 13:09:09
If he does stay, it wouldn't surprise me if the Anfield faithful let the stat suits know how poorly received it is.

Can't imagine, with a new season starting, the Kop accepting more of the same drab nonsense we are witnessing...

Tactics are just the tip of the iceberg. He literally has to do exactly the opposite of what he has done since he arrived... which is about as likely as Gerrard getting offered the United job.

7

28 Apr 2026 13:16:38
He had the end of last season and all this season to 'overhaul some parts of his coaching staff and significantly adapt his training methods'. He's shown he is incapable of getting this team to challenge for the PL.

12

28 Apr 2026 14:02:18
Feels like we've been here before with Brendan Rodgers. The club let Colin Pascoe go if I remember correctly. A few months later, BR was gone after the derby.

I can thank Slot for his efforts, the title win and even getting a CL spot if we get there (Houllier managed that before his time ended at Liverpool, the following season, unbelievably we won it).

But I think parting ways is best for all in my opinion.

12

28 Apr 2026 14:37:48
Most of our defeats have come when playing 3 games a week, or in 6 days. How can he be giving them 4 days off between games? Toxic pathetic post. But, hey, why let the facts get in the way of hate. It's not Slot's fault. He has had a pre season when everybody was dealing with grief. It wasn't his fault Guehi or a winger to replace Diaz wasn't bought in. It wasn't his fault Isak broke his leg after recovering from a groin strain, Ekitiki Lioni and Bradley have serious knee injuries while playing a match. Not his fault Salah has dropped off in the scoring goals. Not his fault Alison has missed half a season. I am not defending the style of football and be quite happy if they replace him.

But I hate the abuse he is getting for things out of his control. No one wins trophies under the circumstances. Injuries, squad depth. I keep repeating myself, but half of you would have wanted Bob Paisley sacked back in the day. In his early days as manager we played alehouse football, kicking it back to the keeper, counter attacks, long ball sh***. Tosh heading it down for Keegan to pick up the scraps. In the end he built his own team and we saw the best LFC team ever. I used to love this site, but where did the toxicity come from. Have a nice day.

13

28 Apr 2026 15:12:49
I hope that was written with Comedy in mind lol.
The ONLY reasons we've underperformed this season are the Slot set up, the lack of fitness and the refusal to get closer to the city and the club.
The man needs to go. It's turning into the last days of Erik Ten Blag with the ridiculous press conferences.
If we'd had even a slight improvement in play I could see why, but it's been awful and to buy Isak and Wirtz and not know how to get the best from them is shameful when everyone else can see the system doesn't suit either.

I still maintain a change before the CL got serious and before the league got too far away would have seen a better outcome.
The club have been negligent on that score in my eyes. Anyone see Utds improvement or how different Chelsea were in the cup semi? We needed that change and bounce after Forest at home.
Personally I'm ready for change.

12

28 Apr 2026 16:19:22
Well said, Comedy Gold.

The football this season has been poor, but context is important. The style of football played last year wasn't great, but we won the league. The new signings indicate the intention was to modify the style of play, but for the reasons CG has stated... things have not worked out.

I will judge Slot this time next season if he stays. If we end up where we are now, then I agree he needs to move on. Judging him on the outcome of such a disrupted year is not the Liverpool way.

From what I have read and heard, the reason he got the job is because he was and still is regarded as one of the best coaches around. Not as good as Klopp, not as good as Pep, and not as good as Enrique. I think Iraola is better than Slot, based on what he has done with Bournemouth, but he had a terrible start in his first season and this season, so maybe he isn't the upgrade we need.

The next move is to improve the quality of the team around Slot. That seems to be the plan.

4

28 Apr 2026 16:35:11
Giving Edwards absolute power without a figurehead like Jurgen was always going to be a bit of an unknown quantity.
Edwards' vision for the side is just that, but is it suitable to LFC?
We can support one non-tracking forward, so Isak or Eki, but not two, in my opinion.
Neither of the full backs have been consistent, Fede doesn't get used, and Leoni was injured early on, so, Wirtz aside, we really have not seen the fruits of the big window as yet.

This rests firmly on one man's shoulders.
Ian Graham was a big part of the success during the Klopp years, and Edwards has never been given this much power before.

What comes next could make or break us for the next decade, in my opinion.

1

28 Apr 2026 16:45:27
If Arne Slot plans to remain in charge, I plan to stop watching football; enough said!

12

28 Apr 2026 17:18:02
If Slot stays, we will risk a decade in the midtable wilderness or worse. Slot's set up is revelation fodder in this league, and only the individual brilliance of the players and a terrible league this year have us where we are.

Another season of Slot, which I won't subject myself to watching, and you start to have trouble recruiting players and the results start to get worse. If he stays, the club is in serious decline.

4

28 Apr 2026 17:36:19
Jari

I thought he got the job because he played a very similar way to Klopp and wouldn't need to invest huge money in the squad last year .. it's chalk and cheese isn't it ...

From Feb last year, he has been nothing short of a liability and we have regressed in every aspect of our game .. that's just on the pitch .. let alone what goes on or doesn't off it each week...

I have issues with everything else he does too, or lack of .. what does Slot do well? ... mmmmmhhh good question. .. what does Slot need to improve on .. and that's a very long list

If there were signs of something positive, then yeh ..

let's give him some time .. but we are declining week by week.

A pre season with this loon in charge will have us jogging round Stanley Park for an hour .. that'll do boys .. let's not break a sweat .. let's control the sweat and heart rate .. best we go for a walk ....

How many times this season have we watched a game and thought .. wow, he got the tactics, set up and everything spot on this game ? .. 5 .. maybe 6?? Over the course of 60 games .. that to me screams more of luck than any planning.

3

28 Apr 2026 18:03:28
He's already had 6 months to "overhaul".

2

28 Apr 2026 19:04:42
Look at the reality of the situation, if Slot stays and has another season of transition, we will be saying by November he has to go and he will certainly walk or be gone by this time next year. Missing out on Alonso now and not cutting our losses on Slot will be a price that's more than likely to cost us highly.

I do not know what stats they are looking at from this season from Slot that leads them to think he deserves a chance. Keeping him now will be a price we will be paying for at least 3 or more years. Would rather give Alonso or someone else a chance rather than Slot. A change is as good a rest.

1

28 Apr 2026 20:57:34
Seriously, if you couldn't see my post as a joke, I'd consider changing your name.

0

28 Apr 2026 07:36:29
Hello ed1 hope u well.

Have u heard what clubs intentions are as regards goalkeeping situation?
Whether we go with mamar as no.1 next season and give him his chance or do we keep alisson as no.1 and sell mamar( I don't believe he would stay another season as no.2) or do we try and buy a new no.1 due to mamar not convincing + Allison getting more and more injury prone

1

https://liverpool-rumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_Ed001.png avatar{Ed001's Note - as far as I am aware no decisions have been made yet.}

5

28 Apr 2026 08:02:48
Do you rate James Trafford at city Ed?

3

https://liverpool-rumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_Ed001.png avatar{Ed001's Note - no, he can't handle pressure at all. He constantly boots the ball into touch when put under even tiny pressure, which is a real worry. He is ok when he is a back up, there is no pressure on him, but as a starter he is terrible. Ridiculously overrated keeper.}

14

28 Apr 2026 09:30:37
Do you know anything about Lens GK Robin Risser Ed? A lot of peoples have been saying good things about him.

3

https://liverpool-rumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_Ed001.png avatar{Ed001's Note - no, nothing sorry mate.}

3

28 Apr 2026 10:15:54
Thanks for response ed1. Tricky 1 as if ali was relatively injury free it no brainer, give him 3year contract and your sorted but with the regularity of his injuries it a major problem. Not easy on a 2nd choice to come in and out of team all the time either

1

28 Apr 2026 11:15:54
I think we have been spoiled by how good Alisson has been. He is a generational talent and has single-handedly (sometimes with feet as well) stopped multiple games becoming lost or drawn.

We will be able to replace him, but I doubt any keeper playing will currently be anywhere near as good as him. I think our expectations should be for a keeper closer to Reina's level, not Alisson's.

6

28 Apr 2026 10:58:44
Who is out there that you could consider to be a good option for GK Ed001 and other posters?

1

https://liverpool-rumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_Ed001.png avatar{Ed001's Note - maybe Roefs from Sunderland?}

7

28 Apr 2026 11:18:42
Robin Risser is definitely one to watch. Big lad, excellent shotstopper. He does need some work on holding rather than palming the ball out, though. He looks like he is made of rubber the way he springs about. Really good at one on ones. Would like to see more of how he would handle being a sweeper keeper and more of his passing, though.

3

28 Apr 2026 11:57:16
Roefs, i'm a bit of a keeper nerd being an ex one, he's looked as good as anyone this season to me ED01, i'd be happy If he was unde consideration

6

28 Apr 2026 12:20:35
Bart Verbruggen looks the part, with my limited knowledge of keepers, I would look at snaffling him. Some of his saves this season have been outrageous, reminds me of Clem.

5

28 Apr 2026 21:30:58
I'm with you, Iron
Man.

Verbruggen for me would be the choice.

1

27 Apr 2026 23:35:49
Where's the source for the Heitinga return? All I've found online is Slot wanted him back before he joined Spurs and asked again when he left Spurs, but the move was blocked. So if Slot is staying, why not let him back?

9

28 Apr 2026 02:58:48
Yea I don't get it. If you want to back the manager, and the manager is asking for a staff, why won't you get him in?

It tells you what you need to know to be honest. Slot is done at the end of this season.

9

28 Apr 2026 06:50:01
Yeah the rumours of Spike and GvB leaving feel more like a partial leak referring to Slot and all backroom staff leaving. Or I'm putting 2 + 2 together and making 5.

As FSW said below, the club are doing its best to stop all leaks getting out.

10

28 Apr 2026 10:34:52
Reminiscent of the Rodgers era where the axe fell on Colin Pascoe and Mike Marsh and Rodgers remained.

6

28 Apr 2026 11:19:54
Other than Feyenoord's reported interest in GvB, I haven't seen any credible links to Heitinga's return or Hulshoff's departure.

3

28 Apr 2026 12:24:06
FSG have just binned the Red Sox manager and back room team, so it's not looking good for Arse Nolt.

1

27 Apr 2026 20:57:54
Cara, have you heard anything new regarding slot going or staying? More and more are convinced he's staying. Wonder what you take on it is now?

5

27 Apr 2026 22:21:14
He's going nowhere, word going around Johnny H is coming back too.

7

27 Apr 2026 22:32:06
Maybe Johnny H is taking over.

3

28 Apr 2026 05:52:55
Where's the info about Johnny H coming? I can't see it.

2

28 Apr 2026 06:56:48
Johnny H has burnt his bridges with Edwards. He was reminded that he was part of the multiyear project but still left.

3

28 Apr 2026 08:13:03
I think burnt bridges is harsh.

He was an assistant manager and was given the opportunity to become the head coach of the biggest club in his home country of Holland.

I think most people would take that opportunity. Not sure he's done much wrong there.

10

28 Apr 2026 08:58:24
Sounds like Van Bronckhurst is close to a move away in the summer - and people are just trying to fill the gap before it's made.

Realistically, Slot goes and there is no position for Heitinga, unfortunately, at least not until the Head Coach position is ironed out, but I'd imagine whoever comes (still expect Alonso) will bring their own team.

Genuinely, the rumour just sounds like someone trying to add fuel to the narrative that Slot is staying.

10

28 Apr 2026 10:06:03
From the last post Carra made, he was mentioning taking a risk passing on what he knew.

Let's hope he's ok and is fully aware of what's going on. The post yesterday from FatSpanishWaiter made a lot of sense and hopefully is bang on.

Does seem strange how many ITK's have been posting in the last 6/12 months...

My gut feeling is that Slot still goes...

as others have said, I still can't understand why they wouldn't of backed him in January or why he would stay when he's homesick and his family won't move here.

Listening to his interviews recently, he seems distant and it almost feels like he's halfway out of the door, not excited to finish the season strong and build next year...

4

28 Apr 2026 12:46:44
He's probably sleeping with the fishes.

27 Apr 2026 17:39:32
As I understand it, this is what has gone down.

1- Edwards' team began negotiations with Alonso's people. Alonso has always been Edwards' first choice. He went with Slot only because Alonso was not available.

2- One of Alonso's staff contacted Flo and Frimpong with a bunch of questions, after which one of them shared that they had been in contact. This gave the game away to the squad.

3- Edwards and his team were upset that this had happened as it undermined Slot and the charge for a CL spot.

4- Edwards and team have been trying to plug leaks, which had become as bad as they were under B-Rod.

5- Edwards ceased negotiations with Alonso's people in response to the blurring of the lines. This was not done moodily as such, more out of respect and a necessity to hush new manager talks.

6- Edwards has a bunch of people putting a whole lot of very mixed rumours out there, including people posting here, as a way to muddy the waters and confuse people.

7- Aside from 1/2 people there are no longer any ITK's since the leaks have been well and truly plugged.

My guess is that Alonso is coming but had to park any early drive for info due to all of the above.

41

27 Apr 2026 17:51:02
I was clutching at straws, thinking they were keeping Slot for a year whilst they wait on Enrique, but this is much better.

6

27 Apr 2026 17:57:50
Good story, love it if true. But not if Heitinga really coming back, cannot think of any rational reason that Slot will out but Heitinga still back as assistant.

2

27 Apr 2026 18:04:09
Didn't Edwards block Hetinga coming back n that's how he ended up at Spurs.

7

27 Apr 2026 18:13:33
Rumour saying Heitinga now coming back……

3

27 Apr 2026 18:13:40
I still feel he will go personally.

-no contract
-no signings in January when needed
-lot of rumours about Alonso
-now it sounds like staff are leaving
-some of the things Slot has said make him sound disconnected from talk of next season or long term future.

My gut feeling is that he will leave.

The only thing that makes me feel he will stay really is a lot of the more well known journalists being fairly strong on him staying. I know they are relaying what the club want them to, but still.

They are fairly strong on that so maybe he will stay.

I think if he gets top 5, he should ride off into the sunset with his reputation firmly intact in football circles.

He can always play this as a rebuild season as he has been doing and point to him winning the league. He will have a pick of clubs to choose from in Holland and can return to a higher level at some stage again perhaps when the family have finished school.

18

27 Apr 2026 18:20:23
It seems a bit ridiculous that Edwards would get pissed because Xabi contacted 2 of his own former players. Surely it's an absolute guarantee that it was always going to happen. Typical control freak Edwards behaviour.

4

27 Apr 2026 18:24:41
Excellent original post, @FatSpainishWaiter!

6

27 Apr 2026 18:39:35
This all actually adds up really well.

Diddly out.

22

27 Apr 2026 18:55:37
Best rumour yet and me waiter could have well and truly smashed it as top dog there. 🙂

Thank you for sharing, I don't even care if it's real, it's that good.

In all of the post (which I hope is true), the best part for me was the name B-Rod for Rodgers. Good name for a band.
B-Rod (feat) the Outstanding Characters.

Very plausible indeed.

I was agreeing with Chewy right up until the last sentence. Then I realised he actually believed the OP. 😆

Just watching the press conference on Friday, it seemed like Slot was just about saying he was going.
Ever since last March, Slot has struggled. He even admitted it in a press conference, saying he needed a break last March to go home, and since then he has not been the same.

Rarely, I pray I am wrong, but in this instance, I hope I am and that this is the truth. 😆

You mean this site is a threat to Edwards?
People working for Edwards come up on here to muddy the waters. 🌝 Hard to swallow, man.

Thanks for the rumour.

3 & 5 lack credibility in my opinion. Jackanory would be proud.

Firstly, agents and executives/directors are always talking about players and managers. If they're not, then they're not doing their job.
Someone saying to a player "Edwards has been talking to Xabi's agent" is a total "nothing burger" to players who know the score. They also know most agents have more than one client, and talking to an agent means nothing.

Secondly, the idea that Edwards would be "upset" that it undermines the CL push is also pure fantasy to me. I don't believe he'd be upset - because it's his job to talk to representatives, and everyone knows this. Also, players would give no relevance to it. Finally, it's all easily deniable as "fake news" to flush out a leak.

Are you or your contact then one of the 2 people mentioned in your 7th point?

The only error here is that the possibility of Alonso coming in next season was revealed in a way that could be undermining to the current manager, and it was felt that this was not 100% professional or respectful given the circumstances.
Getting CL next year is essential for the squad building to continue, at least if the desired signings are to agree to join.

I guess that reputations require saving, and for that to happen, things need to improve a great deal.

FSG's prudence to this point allowed for a mega spend, and for another couple of big windows, which Edwards needs to get right. An inbalanced squad/window is ok, provided parts 2 and 3 bring the vision together into a coherent, high functioning team. Currently it really could go either way, so the next steps are critical.

It's a really long winded way of saying Carra was right. :)

If Xabi is coming, was it his choice to let go of Salah?

A rumour about Slot leaving - jeez it's groundbreaking stuff eh?

28 Apr 2026 03:04:05
It's all good, but it still remains a mystery why didn't they sack Slot if Alonso was talking and available? When performance was dire, why did they accept Salah to leave for free if they were letting Slot go?
The evidence available clearly states that they have backed Slot over team and fans.

Much better to have the daily presence of a poster who was rightly handed his arse by Ed001 a couple of months ago yet still trolls those offering gossip.

28 Apr 2026 08:06:56
In your view. It's not the same gossip - it is extremely detailed business information from multiple posters and covers contract law, the backroom, the executive, and so on. And some of it predicts Slot staying next season, anyway.

Thanks FSW. It would make sense, I think, for Arne Slot to lead the Ajax rebuild and go back to the Netherlands and his family, with our gratitude for Number 20. With a few additions and replacements, I believe Alonso will build a very good Liverpool team...

Sipke Hulshoff and GVB are set to leave LFC at the end of the season.

This all sounds very much like the end of Brendan Rodgers' time here...

27 Apr 2026 16:10:28
Yeah, Rodgers' time here is definitely over.

Maybe Slot has moved on from blaming low blocks, pressing, other tactics, refs, wind, schedule, set piece coach, and convinced the suits it's all their fault too...

I'm just very angry at this (with VG news below) outcome...

Slot staying should have never been an option.

People need to grow up and get over it. Slot is staying put, and all the ITK's have been spouting s**** all season, whipping this place into a frenzy.

27 Apr 2026 16:52:54
Maybe Gerrard is coming to be an assistant then as he said he would do anything the club wanted if they needed his help.

Gerrard will be managing in the Championship next season.

Na, gold digger. We live in and love the Frenzy. If it wasn't Slot, it would be something else.

It's ok to not want Arne Slot as manager of Liverpool Football Club anymore.

We are allowed opinions here. It is not North Korea.

27 Apr 2026 18:09:44
I'd love to know their thinking behind keeping Slot, we've lost way too many games, the football has been poor, no sign of improvement, fitness seems to be worse than every other team in the league.

27 Apr 2026 18:11:25
Ruben Peters needs to join them

Goaldigger, contribute something or hit the road. The ITKs are what people want to read, not some knockoff ragebaiter

You mean I can have an opinion that's different to some on here, FPF...????

2

28 Apr 2026 00:55:47
To be fair @FP, it's the South Koreans who actually want Slot out.
