Usual noise up from my Spurs buddy but he`s adamant Hendo could be on his way to Spurs
"heard a rumour so he say`s"
Well ed`s.

1.) 29 Jul 2016 08:01:27
That would usually be difficult to believe had we not done a 'Benitez' and flooded the squad with midfielders -
Coutinho, Lallana, Firmino, Can, Milner, Grujic, Mane, Wijnaldum, Lucas. Hendo

am i missing something here? What does our first team look like next season? Shouldn't we have saved the money from Wijnaldum and bought a replacement for Moreno?

2.) 29 Jul 2016 08:33:55
Coutinho, Lallana, Firmino, Can, Milner, Grujic, Mane, Wijnaldum, Lucas, Hendo

Lucas will be sold and milner will be turn to fullback to backup moreno. Plus we going to use 1 striker only so 5 midfield in one lineup for - 8 players to rotate each game.

3.) 29 Jul 2016 10:24:18
At least we have abit if strength when players inevitably break.

4.) 29 Jul 2016 10:34:08
I guess you're right, it's just difficult to see how we can accommodate all our big players.

5.) 29 Jul 2016 10:44:35
Cant see it myself as that would leave us ridiculously light in centre midfield.

6.) 29 Jul 2016 11:45:54
Can't see hendo leaving, especially if Lucas goes and maybe lallana. Add ojo and Stewart to the 8 mentioned though, as they'll be around the first team in my eyes.

7.) 29 Jul 2016 12:46:20
I think hulls Andrew Robertson looks a very decent left back to be honest.

8.) 29 Jul 2016 13:36:32
Appreciate that players don't always want to come but I reckon we could have got a top top quality left back for the same money we spent on Wijnaldum. Not knocking the lad because he looks a decent enough player but I think that money could have been better spent elsewhere.

9.) 29 Jul 2016 15:20:11
I don't think the signing of Wijnaldum prevented us from affording a left back. The two deals are totally unconnected IMO.

10.) 29 Jul 2016 16:01:18
The point I was trying to make Ron is that - as it stands -the team didn't need another attacking mid so why spend £25m on one when the need for a new LB was much greater. It looks like we're trying to get an LB on the cheap based on the Chilwell deal going to the wall and now being linked with the lad from Leeds - if my guess is correct then I'd have rather used the Wijnaldum money more wisely.

11.) 29 Jul 2016 16:27:46
I don't think the reason we haven't got a left back has anything to do with money.
More to do with our lack of recent success, lack of European football next season and the global lack full backs who can defend.
I also think Wijnaldum will be one of our best signings.

12.) 29 Jul 2016 18:45:40
I don't doubt Wijnaldum's ability but this club has limited funds available as the Eds often tell us so for me, spending £25m on filling a position we didn't need must have had an impact on the amount available to spend on a quality LB.

I don't have the scouting network that some on here seem to have but if we'd combined the Wijnaldum budget with the LB budget then we could have dangled that in front of the top ten LBs to see if they or their clubs were interested. As it stands we've been trying to get Chilwell for less than the supposed £10m asking price and are now looking at a Leeds player who, seemingly, the club are happy to let go - that suggests to me that we only have a relatively low amount of money to spend on that position, logically we'd have had more funds available if we hadn't signed Wijnaldum.

13.) 29 Jul 2016 18:48:01
@Johnny the two aren't related.

We are still looking at fullbacks and if we can put together a deal for one of or targets then we will sign one.

14.) 29 Jul 2016 22:48:15
This is why the Eds say don't worry about the money. The two transfers are unrelated in terms of finances. We had a valuation of Chilwell at a certain price, it doesn't match their asking price. No transfer.

We can't be mad about our club not spending money, and then moan when they do on players that fans deem surplus.

15.) 30 Jul 2016 07:02:21
JohnnyR- I too see what your saying. Yes they're unrelated and I know money doesn't come into it as Ron said but you can't help but feel it strange that we throw £35m at Mane, £25m at Wijnaldum but won't throw an extra £3m to get our priority signing done. There's still hope though mate, still early days and Amavi would be a decent buy. Unfortunately it seems without CL footy the likes of Hector or Rodriguez may be beyond us at present. Do what I do mate and trust in Klopp, I think we knew all issues weren't going to be solved in one window anyway so keep the faith.

16.) 30 Jul 2016 07:58:38
Phew, someone got my point, thanks Poolie. I get that transfers for different positions are essentially unrelated but if there is a limit on the total funds available then simple logic dictates if you spend big on one position then you have less to spend on others.

And I'm not getting bogged down in the money here, this rant is about us not filling key positions properly whilst over-populating others - we've bought 3 midfielders in one window!

17.) 30 Jul 2016 08:24:18
All this stuff about a lost Chilwell signing, a reluctance to pay, and I am going to hazard a pretty decent guess that none of those making the point have actually really seen the lad play a decent enough amount of games to really make a judgement on him. It's hype, it's what they are saying at Leicester, etc etc. Now he may well turn out to be the quality player everyone is making him out to be but I for one will be honest and say I've not seen him enough to judge with my own eyes, and I base my opinions on my own judgement! Now maybe the folk inside our great team did that too and decided they'd seen enough to pay "x" but not enought to pay "y"! I'm not going to blame them for that. Now I have said I have seen GW play multiple times in the Netherlands in particular and I do agree with Ron I believe he will be our best signing and at a bargain price when I compare some of the transfers over recent years (Sterling £50m joke for example, but good for us! ) . Again I agree money stuff is totally unrelated we have done some good "outing" and more to come I suspect too. Moreno is a true liability, we know that, and he needs replacement but I'm not going to let that alone sway an opinion that really ought be based on seeing a player play more than a handful of games (eg Chillwell) if that! I am sure Klopp will sort the LB position out in a way he knows best - meantime I hope folk get interested in, and are content to moan at not signing, players for more than just "hype"!

18.) 30 Jul 2016 09:05:28
There is a lot of people assuming the reason Chilwell didn't sign is because we wouldn't 'pay an extra £3m'.

We don't know that. Perhaps Chilwell's agent advised him against signing for LFC? Perhaps he thinks a better offer will come in if Chilwell gets some premier league or champions league experience? Perhaps Leicester are offering more wages? Perhaps Chilwell likes Ranieri? Perhaps Chilwell looked at how Ojo and Brannagan have signed new deals only to see their opportunities stifled by multiple new signings?

Answer is - we don't know. LFC not paying the extra money did not make him sign a new contract.

{Ed001's Note - Chilwell was keen to come, the only problem was agreeing a price with Leicester. We would not pay enough. That is all there was.}

19.) 30 Jul 2016 09:37:04
And that Ed001 is my frustration with our odd transfer policy - we've spent £60m so far on positions where there wasn't a massive problem and that ultimately, whichever way you look at it, must restrict our options for LB which everyone agrees IS a problem position. Some strange Rodgers-era decisions still being made at the club methinks.

20.) 30 Jul 2016 09:42:52
Ok thanks ed, well there must be a reason we weren't willing to pay it.

{Ed001's Note - yes, because we are still being headed up by people with no idea how football works.}

21.) 30 Jul 2016 09:48:47
But pretty much anyone on this site, unless his dad or his Leicester coaches are posters, know that much about the lad, right?!

{Ed001's Note - it doesn't matter what we think, Klopp wanted him, the club should have done what it took to get him, like they did for a back up option in Wijnaldum, after refusing to do so for the first option, Zielinski. The club is still being run badly.}

22.) 30 Jul 2016 09:52:30
L8- I did see A BIT of Chilwell but as he didn't feature much at all for Leicester nobody did. I made it plainly obvious I thought we could do better but the eds had big respect for the youngster, Klopp's advisors had big respect for the youngster plus he'd had quite an effective loan spell I believe soo I was willing to accept others knew better. Plus I have seen plenty of Moreno. The argument isn't really about Chilwell it's about have we done enough to give us the best chance of securing a LB? The eds have said all along that Chilwell was keen in coming the only stumbling block was our reluctance to pay the fee so the answer has to be NO in my opinion.

23.) 30 Jul 2016 10:25:16
Spot on Ed 001.The hierarchy felt the money for Balotelli Benteke was value, utterly clueless.

24.) 30 Jul 2016 10:58:53
Natural seems to think it does matter what you think Ed?! I agree entirely with you that it does matter what Klopp thinks and wants if he is charged with building the squad. The point I am making is that, despite what some on this site may think, really unless you are employed within the Liverpool coaching, scouting, etc network you really don't know what the reasons are you can only surmise! Well here is my piece of surmising: that Klopp is strong minded enough to have a decent say and that he was part of the "don't pay more without being certain" decision.

{Ed001's Note - he has no say in the money being paid.}

25.) 30 Jul 2016 11:13:04
Whilst I am sure you believe that I am not so sure you know that is true Ed. my expectation and belief is that he won't make ultimate decisions but he will give a view that will be listened to and considered. From what I am hearing in this case, and yes it is only what I am hearing and am no more in the "know" specifically, even Klopp himself agreed that they knew little enough about the youngster first hand to pay that further element. Then you really only have to look at the personality of the guy to know he would diplomatically dig in his heels if he really thought it was apt to do so.

{Ed001's Note - yet this is the club that spent over 20m on Moreno. Sorry but Klopp does not set values, he asks for players and the club should get them. Any talk of his valuation is nonsense, he is not involved in the financial side of the club.}

26.) 30 Jul 2016 11:23:15
I just find it so intriguing that so many people get frustrated about not signing a player that, in fairness, we really know very little about yet criticise the manager and clubs decision to bring in a player of proven quality, of decent age (25), and at decent value (£25m) in today's terms. Ok we definitely need a LB yes but we also need a squad with decent depth at at least equal quality. For me GW is better quality than May that will be vying for the same position and for me I know little about Chilwell. In both cases though our manager would have given a view and it is the former that is in the ranks now! Tells me quite a bit.

{Ed001's Note - I find it hard to understand why you have so much difficulty in understanding that we are already overloaded with players in the position Wijnaldum plays but have no left back worthy of the name. Yet we were happy to pay 250% more for a player we didn't really need than we were for a player we desperately need. It tells me a lot about your lack of understanding of the situation that you think Klopp is happy about that. You are basing your whole outlook on the fact that you know nothing about a player, rather than on the basic needs of the club.}

27.) 30 Jul 2016 11:36:03
Klopp was not the manager when we bought Moreno. Was not when we bought Mignolet, Benteke, Markovic, and others that were very much a waste. He is the manager that was here when we bought Mane, when we bought (what I believe to be a terrific signing) GW and here when "the club" decided that "x" and not "y" was the right price for a barely seen LB. I personally think you are underestimating his persuasiveness Ed - I am not arguing that he holds the monetary purse in silo, but I do believe he has sway. Now if it is such that we can't hold any manager to account for what we spent then maybe Rogers wasn't so bad after all? After all he never paid those rediculous sums right he was just charged with making them work? No - really we can't believe that can we?!

28.) 30 Jul 2016 11:42:52
I know a fair bit about one of those players and that player will improve our squad, you mark my words. I am not at all suggesting that we are not desperate for a left back I am just suggesting that you and everyone else on this site (including me) know very little about the reason for not paying the asking price for a player that we all know very little about!

29.) 30 Jul 2016 11:44:27
We have a lot of strikers now! Would you take Suarez back? That's not overload right that's better quality?!

{Ed002's Note - But he squats to piss.}

30.) 30 Jul 2016 12:20:12
That is still the frustration, we might go and pay more for the second or third choice on our "list" of LBs than it would have cost us to get the first choice. If Klopp wanted him and the people who do know about him/ football rated him then it beggars belief that the people who sign the cheques would rather spend more elsewhere for a LB based on their own ignorance.

31.) 30 Jul 2016 12:27:56
Maybe he's not first choice, maybe he one of a few choices, ever considered that or believe all you read?

32.) 30 Jul 2016 12:33:02
Good debate raging here! I know little about Chilwell to be honest so no idea whether or not he was the right choice but what I do know is that our midfield now has Coutinho, Firminho, Lallana, Henderson, Can, Lucas, Grujic, Markovic, Wijnaldum, Mane and Milner who would all expect to be in the first 11. Then there's OJo, Brannagan, Wilson, Stewart - add a keeper and you've got a full matchday squad (includung subs) of midfielders there. I'll say it again - we could have saved the Winajldum money and gone for a quality LB which anyone can see we're desparate for.

33.) 30 Jul 2016 12:39:38
Personally I really believe there is so much naivety in what a number of fans say: "he's not our first choice so we opted for second" as a grand example or "he came out of the blue, we weren't in for him". Now ANY club worthy of being taken seriously ought have a number of relatively equal options considered for the positions the manager wants to fill. Moreover, the best ones keep as much of the information about chasing them undisclosed as much as possible - let's face it demand creates and dictates pricing, it is simple economics. So I put it to this site that there were a number and still are a number of options for consideration at LB and that GW is not so much a surprise internally as it is touted to be by fans on here. Naivety for me!

34.) 30 Jul 2016 13:06:31
That all depends on whether you believe the others noted to be of equal quality as Wijnaldum, Johnny?! I for one don't believe a number of those you mention are fit to shine his boots. I've seen a lot of him and I was jealous that Newcastle got him last year. It is a personal view that I expect to be shared by others as his introduction is made. Moreover I expect there will be some more clear out - we've done reasonably well to date in that regard and at decent monetary income. I have absolutely no argument of the need for a LB but I do argue that Wijnaldum will massively improve our team, and thereby squad, and thus am rather her used that folk might consider him and/ or a LB an either/ or debate!

35.) 30 Jul 2016 20:17:49
That's solid gold info from Ed002 😄.

36.) 31 Jul 2016 06:01:57
L8 the very fact he is the first lb we put a bid in for suggests he was first choice mate. You are looking for conspiracy theories where none exist. The fact is the eds who clearly know a lot more about football and lfc have said klopp has no control of finances. We have seen players missed by this club over valuations over the years and usually because of some kind of misguided principles of not paying x for youth players etc. Wont be the last either so we suck it up and move on.

You also suggest the club knew little about chilwell, so why put a bid in then?

GW will not make a demonstrable difference compared to his price tag, average player who will help the squad, nothing more.

37.) 31 Jul 2016 21:59:08
L8, your arguments make no sense. You seem to doubt but the info Ed is p voiding. If you do, please provide credible informs that debunks his. If you can't, then stop with the false arguments as your opinions are not facts. Also, your argument fails m derailed when you say the club knew little about Chilwell. Can you verify that? Do you have inside info to confirm that? If you don't then again, stop arguing because your opinions are not facts.

38.) 01 Aug 2016 14:28:51
Klopp wants five players pressing when we don't have the ball in the other half.
Five players pressing at high tempo equals injuries and fatigue. That is why he is overloading in midfield. What he does at LB is separate. Sadly we have a Bayern trainer who oversaw their worst injury run ever. Klopp may be taking the opinion that injuries are inevitable under his style of play and that he needs as many options in the middle of the field which is where he places most emphasis.
He's not buying players, he is putting together a squad of workers who can do the work he wants.

If he thinks midfield will cover the wing backs, we might be in for a difficult season. Again. If you see him using three at the back in October, you will know we are in for a very difficult season as that is not the plan he is laying out at the moment. And for all Sturridge fans, Origi will be the starting lone forward as S cannot play up top on his own. Expect two up top at home games.

13 Dec 2015 05:46:55
Ed just a quick Q the boy
Yannick Bolasie @ Palace we ever had any interest in him he looks a player Klippety could nurture into something special.

{Ed001's Note - nope.}

1.) 13 Dec 2015 06:44:11
Was saying for sometime this kid got something. There are few players liverpool should at least keep tab on - bolaise, ayoze perez, mahrez, shaqiri.

2.) 13 Dec 2015 08:07:13
Just mahrez out of that lot. Yet i think his stock has risen that well that only a hand full of clubs could afford him now in my opinion.

3.) 13 Dec 2015 08:33:05
MOTD fever I think, Bolaise is ok on his day but he as far too many off days, he also tries to beat the same man time and time again and many attacks break down because he doesn't release the ball.

4.) 13 Dec 2015 10:18:26
Mighty reds in fairness we are starting to see a lot more consistency from the lad and if he keeps progressing the way he has over the course of this calender year I think he will be sold for massive money to a top side in the summer or next January.

{Ed001's Note - not sure he has shown any more consistency, other than that he overruns the ball consistently.}

5.) 13 Dec 2015 10:29:17
Those MOTD comments on bolaise over done, he's been repeating those powerful runs down the flanks almost every match. So please shut it on MOTD.

{Ed001's Note - and losing it doing so. It IS MOTD fever, the guy only looks good in highlights, full matches and he is more of a hindrance than a help over the course of 90 minutes.}

6.) 13 Dec 2015 10:30:37
With Liverpool fans, Bolasie is the new Diame. Plays well against us, everyone clamours for his signature, but in reality overall he's really not good enough. A decent player in his own right, yes, but not a player who'll help us achieve what we want to achieve.

7.) 13 Dec 2015 11:54:43
I rather we go for a Mahrez or a Mane.

8.) 13 Dec 2015 12:10:47
Ah ed he's certainly progressed at first he had no end product and only tricks which came off once every 4 or 5 weeks. his delivery this seen has been dramatically bettered and he is impacting games on a more regular basis.
Plus it's as much pardews do what you like attitude with him that sees him probably dribble and lose the ball so much. In a better team with good tactical coaching I still think he'll soon be in a top team. Don't think it will be or should be Liverpool mind you but that raw ability to beat a man the way he does is in my opinion a rare talent.

{Ed001's Note - sorry but it is simply not true. It is Pardew's tactics and team that have allowed him to have more impact, simply because of the space he is now getting. Springing from deep against an opponent that have been drawn in, his work should impact every attack.

He is simply not that good, unlike Mahrez or Mane, who are far higher quality mentally. He has pace, strength and the skill on the ball to beat players, but he has absolutely no clue how to use it.}

9.) 13 Dec 2015 13:52:46
I'd move on Allen for Mane in a heartbeat. mane would be able to fit with the high press, fit in well with the creativity of Cout/Firmino/Llalana but also be able to creat width and dangerous positions for Benteke to capitalise on.

He's a few steps ahead of anyone else we have like him including Ibe/Markovic.

10.) 13 Dec 2015 15:21:01
Heard it was his first assist since March. He doesn't score much either. So how effective is he? Those stats are worse than when downing played for us and he got destroyed for being an attacking player that didn't score or assist ( though his record before he joined us was pretty good on both fronts)

11.) 13 Dec 2015 15:37:22
Allen for mane? They don't even play the same position.

12.) 14 Dec 2015 00:54:55
Bolasie would be a disaster for us. The only reason he's good for palace is that he has so much space. Mane or mahrez are the best wingers in the pl imo.

13.) 14 Dec 2015 12:56:54
I agree with the MOTD comments and I have commented on Bolasie in the past. I still think I am correct in what I said before - his shooting is not good enough.

14.) 15 Dec 2015 03:15:30
Bolasie isn't not in the same class as Mahrez and Mane. He's not even good enuff to shine their boots, That's how poor he is. He's big, strong and fast. That's it. He has no skill, no game intelligence, no technical ability nor ability to time and check his runs. He seems to make it up as he goes along all the time, all things that will hinder him from getting to the next level. Don't hear Bayern nor Utd coming in for Bolasie like they are doing for Mane.

Ok Ed's steel helmet firmly on is Mata a possibility from the Mancs.
Im all about Liverpool being No1 no matter what "2nd is nobody" as Shanks said so not biting your hand off to spite your face would he be worth a punt .?

{Ed001's Note - no.}

1.) 29 Jul 2017 17:14:55
Phill Chisnall in 1964.
This was the last transfer between Liverpool and Manchester United. Should say it all really.

2.) 29 jul 2017 17:18:19
theres a month left of the window.

keep calm
y n w a

3.) 29 Jul 2017 17:29:45
So the ed has a steel helmet?

Always comes in handy I suppose.

26 Jun 2017 10:06:36
Hi Ed's cracking job mate, if we buy everybody that's quoted we are into the FSG for say £300 million once the don't want to sell and Liverpool add on is added, is it paramount we have to shift the likes of Studge, Moreno Sakho and a few others on to finance our new signings it's all very well wanting A, B, and C but do the non movers jeopardise the deal or are they going and we take some form of hit, we can't keep losing 3 million here and 5 million there and then paying over the odds it's a recipe for disaster, sorry it's a bit long winded Im just can't get my head round the value and the prize at the end of it TBH.

03 Jun 2017 05:11:55
Hi Ed's your doing a crackin job by the way .
Just a quick question it would be stupid not to have a plan B when everyone's trying to take your pants down when you come knocking is Salah worth the hassle, Quincy Promes is being touted as another option i've only seen a few clips what do you think.

{Ed001's Note - from what I have seen of him since moving, he looks worth it, but you are forgetting he is the plan B, Brandt was A.}

1.) 03 Jun 2017 05:37:22
Salah would still be a better signing than Brandt coz Mane aside, none of our forwards have any serious pace. Salah can play on either flank, run in between defenders and scores more goals than Brandt. What's not to like? Brandt will be an amazing player in the future but the team's needs are for now, not the future. In this instance, I would say the plan B makes more sense than plan A. Plus I'm not too keen on us signing players that demand a first team place. If you are good enough, you will play and vice versa.

{Ed001's Note - Salah is at a different point in his career and he would not be interested if he was not being told he will be an important part of the team.}

2.) 03 Jun 2017 08:04:27
Do you seem him being bought in mainly for the LW spot ed? Seens as that is were Brandt was to be playing?

{Ed001's Note - I expect it to be interchangeable with Mane and him swapping around.}

3.) 03 Jun 2017 08:16:25
Was it not fashionable a few seasons ago to have a left footer on the right and a right footed on the left to cut in? Maybe Klopp sees this coming back.

4.) 03 Jun 2017 08:18:15
Ed I thought Brandt wanted assurances well if were giving them to salah why not brandt? Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - I don't know what has been said to Mo Salah but, yes, Brandt wants assurances.}

5.) 03 Jun 2017 09:55:15
Is there a chance we could get both Brandt and salah? Just wondering.

{Ed001's Note - not really mate.}

6.) 03 Jun 2017 10:23:06
Redted, not unless fsg planted those moneytree seeds i sent them a year ago mate. 😃.

7.) 03 Jun 2017 10:23:42
Maybe if coutinho left? Hope not. Would rather have one winger in and keep Phil. I'm excited for the new season already. The players we are linked with will improve us and fix problem areas hopefully.

8.) 03 Jun 2017 10:32:34
Thanks Ed001.

{Ed001's Note - welcome.}

12 Aug 2016 20:26:20
Hi Ed`s, great job as usual
Its time for us to lift it again
What with the complexities of the transfer market could we see the not wanted going and a couple of players The Kloppster wants in by deadline day.
I just feel this millstone round our necks of wages for doing heehaw could bite us big time the nucleus is there its just a player or 3, and we are ready to raise more than a few pulses in Manc land and the smoke or have I got the rose tinted glasses on, its that close I can taste it honest.

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea what you are talking about.}

1.) 12 Aug 2016 20:39:43
I copied it in to Google translate and my laptop exploded!

3.) 12 Aug 2016 21:02:48
Wonder does his mammy know he sneaked under the bed with the laptop

4.) 12 Aug 2016 21:59:34
Nope, no idea there, even tried turning it upside down. Nothing.

5.) 12 Aug 2016 22:21:02
What on earth.

6.) 12 Aug 2016 22:26:42
Look at it as a reflection in a mirror. it's even scarier!

7.) 12 Aug 2016 23:21:26
Convert it into ones and zeros it gets really interesting.

8.) 13 Aug 2016 00:45:17
Hope he's not got work in the morning.

9.) 13 Aug 2016 00:09:40
I understood it 😄
Great job eds
It's time for the fans to get excited again
Could we see some fringe players going and some targets coming in by deadline day?
"Millstone round our necks of wsges for doing heehaw" is Balotelli and his ilk I think.
The nucleus of the team is there we just need a player or 3 then we will worry the Mancs and the cockneys (smoke)

I agree with ya Bozrog, except I'd go further and say we are already favourites 😎.

10.) 13 Aug 2016 00:28:42
I understood it perfectly 😤 time to get a tattoo now me thinks.

11.) 13 Aug 2016 03:01:34
I actually understood it but I can imagine what he talks like in person lol. I agree, I think we all know we need a new left back but it doesn't look like we are getting one. As for the deadwood, it doesn't look like as many are leaving as first projected which is a shame. Probably 1 or 2 more sales and some loans and I think we are done.

12.) 13 Aug 2016 04:00:24
Great job Ron.

13.) 13 Aug 2016 07:08:07
kman 2 things 1 the transfer window does not close till august 31st, 2 please stop calling players deadwood it is totally disrespectfull, they are players who are surplus to requirements not a western starring ian mcshane and powers boothe.

14.) 13 Aug 2016 20:11:31
This is why you shouldn't do crack.

N'Golo Kanté well impressed with this guy and his contribution to Leicester City`s fantastic run.
I see Arsenal are sniffing around any chance we could sneak him to us I think he`s a player who would fit right in to Klopp`s style off play runs all day, tackles and steals the ball for fun, chucks in a goal or 2 plus he`s never injured.

{Ed001's Note - I wish. He has everyone interested in him, he will have his pick if he decides to leave in the summer.}

1.) 31 Mar 2016 06:14:36
Kante is a phenomenon a freak of a player. He's is the De Gea of midfielders. An absolute wall. There is not much hope Leicester will keep hold of him if Real, Barca, Arsenal, Chelsea, City of United come in for him. I hope the foxes break the bank to keep him because I would hate to see him lining up for our rivals. I think he'd be amazing at Barcelona or Arsenal.

2.) 31 Mar 2016 07:18:42
Looking likely he will leave in the summer. I would say there wouldn't be any harm in registering interest. Depends what's available to him offers wise but also what he wants.

3.) 31 Mar 2016 15:59:55
the guy has an engine that is unmatched. He and Drinkwater are the duo that make LC tick because w/ o them, there`s no Mahrez or Vardy. Having one like Kante is good enuff luxury for a tea. Having two along with Drinkwater, is like winning the lottery.

Is a Bobby/ Dembele swap possible Ed's, a few guys banging on about it last night saying it was a goer, Im thinking 5 year deal £100 mill added to any further deals with them surely not .

{Ed002's Note - I am not sure what you mean about the money, but as I have explained there is nothing involving Liverpool at all and the club has had no talks with Barcelona about Dembele at all. Everyone is completely deluded about the money paid so far for Coutinho and what is still due - I have tried to explain this over and over again - to no avail of course.}

As most have pointed out the guys got a lot on his plate, last season would be a hard act to follow he's still getting in the right places working hard doing all the right things he will be scoring again soon just let him plod through it, a couple against City and he will be off and running again,

It said somewhere yesterday that Arsenal had up'd his wages £30k a week
Southampton's new owners saying Virgil is going nowhere

And Man City are in with a £60 million bid for Keita

All in all I don't think anybody has a clue it's just filling copy
Im of the opinion your best waiting till you see them in a red shirt as every few days its switch about and we are back in the frame for everyone all over again these people change like the wind

How do you do this every day Ed's it must do your box in, I suppose the lager makes it less painless great job mate keep up the good work.

{Ed001's Note - I don't drink mate, though there have been a few days I have reconsidered that on here!}
