Hi Eds, just wondering if you know whether Roma are wanting to sign Johnson to a pre-contract in January, as suggested in the Telegraph today?
{Ed002's Note - Glen Johnson is able to negotiate and agree a pre contract with a non-EPL side from January 1 and will certainly be listening to what clubs have to say. There is already known interest from Roma and Besiktas.}

Hi Eds, Bild say we want to sign a young lad from Wolfsburg called Tolga Cigerci for £2m, just wondered if you knew anything about this, or indeed him as a footballer?

A Spanish media outlet called El Confidencial is saying Atletico are holding out for Costa's full release clause to be paid, which Liverpool have informed his agent Jorge Mendes they will meet. Apparently there has been interest from Roma and Fiorentina but Costa wants to come to England. They also say Atletico will use the money to try and sign Cazorla- ambitious! Just thought this would be of interest- I have no idea if El Confidencial are reliable or whathaveyou!

Hi there Eds, a minor issue I know but do you know what the transfer fee was for Sakho? Reports seem to disagree whether it was around the £15m mark or the £18m mark. Cheers! {Ed002's Note - In pounds the raw transfer fee ran to a little over £15.9M.}

With Liverpool fans, Bolasie is the new Diame. Plays well against us, everyone clamours for his signature, but in reality overall he's really not good enough. A decent player in his own right, yes, but not a player who'll help us achieve what we want to achieve.

Are Liverpool actually aware that they're upsetting people with how they're conducting themselves in these matters? Seems to have been a recurring problem over recent years and you would think it's something they would be very keen to avoid to prevent future problems in negotiations and such.

I spent last summer in the Philippines and unfortunately I really struggled to find football. I remember trying to find a sports bar in the city of Cebu to watch a Champions League tie but it proved to be a fruitless chase. As Ed001 says, it's all basketball there. Perhaps you'll have better luck than I did tracking down the football, but you'll enjoy your time there regardless, it's a very interesting country!

Skrtel should be nowhere near the captaincy. Just being long-serving is no reason. He's always depended on having a leader next to him just to perform to standard in defence, making him the leader of the whole team is a horrid thought
