Hi all, any updates on Slot getting the boot?
Saw he’s popped back to Holland so not got a meeting with the powers that be.
22 Mar 2026 08:41:50
How the actual f*** can he go back to Holland when we are so bad, and there is so much to work on! What is this crap.
22 Mar 2026 08:47:29
Who's he meant to work on it with?
22 Mar 2026 08:48:12
The fact he decided to go back to the Netherlands after another humiliating defeat, rather than demand the players come in and make the players train on a Sunday, says as much as I need to know.
It's unprofessional and shows he isn't bothered by it. That attitude comes out in the insipid half arsed performances we see week in, week out, the team are a reflection of the coach.
22 Mar 2026 08:57:38
What players? International break?
22 Mar 2026 08:58:10
Victor,
Players leave for international duty, so it is pointless for them to come in.
That is one thing I noticed about the press conference on Friday. When he talked about the international break he was laughing and joking, then as soon as the talk turned to the game on Saturday, he was already making excuses up.
So, from Thursday I bet his head was already on going home.
22 Mar 2026 09:01:49
Rumours lately that he's been jetting off home to Holland midweek when we don't have games all throughout the season, giving the players 3 days off at a time.
That's why we're so unfit and have no patterns of play, etc. He should have been sacked months ago, and the neglect goes above him. I want Slot, Hughes and Edwards removed.
22 Mar 2026 09:03:53
He should be at Anfield and work on himself.
22 Mar 2026 09:03:54
Florian Musiala. Well, he could work on something at least with Jones, Gomez, Rio, Isak, Woodman, Morrison, Nyoni, etc. Salah and Ekitike might even stay behind given their recent injuries.
Maybe he could even work with some of the academy players, you know, like Klopp used to?
I wish I'd stuck a bet on that 2-1 defeat to Brighton that I predicted on Thursday! Just as we all expected, another false dawn.
Straight back to the miserable slow build up and non-existent press.
22 Mar 2026 09:04:22
Victor, come on now, don't embarrass yourself.
Take a breath. Slot can't hurt you unless you let him.
22 Mar 2026 09:21:37
Simple question, and no need for ifs, buts and maybes in your responses:
If Slot wins one of the remaining cups and obtains Champions League football next season (whether finishing Top 5 or winning the CL itself), and then goes on to win the Premier League next season, will you all who have been moaning about him put your hands up and admit you were wrong?
Just a question.
22 Mar 2026 09:30:17
Jonny, can you actually see Slot, with this team, his coaching methods & his playing style, winning another prem title?
No chance!
22 Mar 2026 09:36:11
Jonny No6, please can I get your dealer's number, cos those are some strong drugs and a few of us could do with those rn.
22 Mar 2026 09:41:39
Jonny, if Slot grows an elephant's trunk and uses it to cosh opposing players into a coma before each game so that we win the league, Cup and CL, would you be surprised? I wouldn't even if Jogo is top scorer in the league by May. Stranger things have happened. 🐷 🪽
22 Mar 2026 09:43:32
Mk, three out of the 7 you named, Rio, Trey and Morrison, have also been called up to international duty, so unless we're gonna have Jones, Gomez and Isak practicing their freekicks on Woodman a couple of days off with our next match two weeks away, it's hardly a crime.
22 Mar 2026 09:45:32
"Petethepool", another rose-tinted optimist, are you? What was VV on?
22 Mar 2026 09:55:09
I agree with many. While our spiralling EPL season still has a chance to get something (Champions League spot), I don't think the optics Mr Slot is portraying are appropriate.
Intl break, yes. Should he stay behind with the coaching team and those not travelled to work through things...
Hell yeah!
It's negligence and demonstrates unprofessional behaviour. When things are challenging, you roll your sleeves up and push through it.
22 Mar 2026 09:58:16
If what the Inks have said is true, and he’s leaving in the summer, then he’s going to see his family any chance he can get - his head won’t be in it 100%.
More trips back home and more days off for the players.
Edwards and Hughes are to blame for allowing this to happen.
Keeping him till the summer has resulted in a drop in standards from both the manager and the players.
We have been sleepwalking the last few months, and a change is needed.
22 Mar 2026 10:01:45
We do have coaches who take the training sessions though, don't we?
It's not just Slot running all the training sessions, is it?
I only ask because it seems that some people think the club hibernates when the head coach is not there.
I agree it's a poor look. Don't get me wrong, I'm not satisfied with it, and I'm very angry about yesterday, but the players don't need the head coach present to be training.
22 Mar 2026 10:24:34
Understand what you're saying, Ron, but it's like any job.
If you're required to be in the office working 5 days a week and your boss only comes in for 3, you'll start questioning why you don't get to do the same.
The extra days off this season look to have had an effect, and the standard of fitness has dropped.
The manager leads by example.
22 Mar 2026 10:27:19
It would help if the head coach is around, you know, to help coach. In a crisis, there's all hands on deck, not shooting off when he feels like.
22 Mar 2026 10:47:40
The club should fire him by text and post him any possessions left at Melwood/Anfield.
21 Mar 2026 21:43:56
Bayernspace posted that in the case Bayern do not go through to at least Champions League semis, they might have to sell Olise, "with Liverpool positioned as the clear priority".
And they also want to buy Gakpo, regardless of what happens with Olise, which would be so awesome to have him gone.
21 Mar 2026 22:15:32
Why would Olise want to play for a club not in the Champions League?
21 Mar 2026 22:18:14
I doubt Olise would want to join a team without CL football.
21 Mar 2026 23:17:10
I love how people are assuming we will finish top five and win the CL and the Cup. We won't do any of those things. Madness. That performance today was abject. We now have Neverton, Brighton and Brentford around us. And we have a horror list of fixtures. Good luck with that. Here we go.
22 Mar 2026 01:02:53
I agree that it's a very improbable scenario (actually pure dream material) that we win the CL or the FA Cup, but in spite of how crap we currently are we might finish in the top 5. Not because of anything we will do, but because everyone else around us is a big steaming pile of s*** as well.
Talk about results continuously being favourable for us, just for us to not take advantage, time and time again.
22 Mar 2026 07:10:00
Posting for likes.
22 Mar 2026 07:12:41
We'll get top 5, barely.
22 Mar 2026 08:15:26
We will get top 5, but purely because everyone else pushing for it is also utter trash.
22 Mar 2026 08:20:45
Florian, you're dreaming, mate. Even if we do finish 5th, EPL clubs won't get 5 places this year.
22 Mar 2026 08:39:26
Premier League is almost guaranteed to get 5 Champions League places, Chrisy. Spain are behind us, and their teams are 20 wins or so behind English teams. Not going to happen.
22 Mar 2026 08:48:30
English clubs will get 5 places.
22 Mar 2026 09:03:35
English clubs are nailed on for 5 places.
22 Mar 2026 10:04:06
Why would we want Olise?
He was a lazy player. I doubt he's changed much since he left the Premier League.
He has quality, but he's not a grafter.
We need players with a winning mentality who want to win every battle, not shirkers who look good on Match of the Day.
{Ed025's Note - Semenyo would have been perfect Ron..
21 Mar 2026 20:59:55
Apparently some social media stories that Arne has been seen at Manchester airport going back to Holland.
One can only hope that it's a one way ticket and not just heading back home for the international break. If that's the case he couldn't get outta here quick enough.
21 Mar 2026 21:51:28
It's like the guy in the office who is clock-watching and springs out of his desk at 5 on the dot with his bag packed and coat already on. It just reeks of unprofessionalism. When it's someone on five figures a year, it's a bit more forgivable, but for the head coach of Liverpool Football Club on six figures a week, it's absolutely pathetic behaviour.
I'm sick of the "family man" excuse. He's had two years to move them over. Plenty of people work away from home.
I'm sorry to break it to him, but that mega-salary comes with a little bit of sacrifice. I've never seen a Liverpool manager have such a lax attitude towards the role. I would have thought the Feyenoord manager would have thought he'd won the lottery when he got the job. He's lucky Alonso turned us down, and the decision was between him and Amorim.
Let's hope the club summon him back for a meeting over the weekend to tell him his services are no longer required.
21 Mar 2026 22:50:35
At 10.50 pm I've finally come to the realisation he's not leaving tonight.
21 Mar 2026 22:57:45
Hopefully they do it over a Zoom call, we've wasted enough time this season.
22 Mar 2026 00:13:30
My thoughts exactly, Chewy. Or at least hold training over a Zoom call. Lads can hook in via their Bluetooth headsets.
22 Mar 2026 07:25:42
Someone leaving work bang on time reeks of unprofessionalism? I've heard it all now.
21 Mar 2026 23:20:07
"Four more years". We'll be stuck with Slot and STC and Edwards will go on to golden handshakes in Saudi. We become Man United and every talent leaves. But at least we AI t a sacking club. Ed001 is right. No one deserves to stay. We are soft.
22 Mar 2026 09:42:09
Gvardiol, you're supposed to do your job until time and then get ready to leave. That's what you're paid for. You should also finish any tasks that you are currently doing before leaving.
22 Mar 2026 10:18:48
ChangingoftheGvardiol, There's plenty he could be doing, at the very least, he should be in with the rest of the coaching staff doing video analysis, trying to figure out exactly why he can't figure this out.
21 Mar 2026 19:51:17.
Hi Diddly Ho,
No managerial update from me, just curious who’s smashing F5 for an official club update.
Really thought Wednesday we’d turned a corner and changed our approach to games for the remainder of the season.
Lots of speculation from a few here saying the time has come, but there’s been a lot of smoke around that whenever results haven’t gone well.
I’m curious to see whether it’s Gerrard or another interim or straight to Xabi.
Now some contract bits:
Expect Szoboszlai extension to be announced during the break, but a coach change may delay it. As far as I’m aware, it’s a deal agreed but not signed, that’s just a formality.
Jones is close, apparently Jones hasn’t ever seeker opportunities elsewhere, he’s been fully committed to staying.
Andy Robertson still has a 1+1 club option on the table, no news on what’s happening there.
Again, this is information from a new source that I’m yet to see how reliable they are, but it’s someone my old source is familiar with - this gives me reason to believe and share. And to be honest, this is a rumours site, we have to share anything and everything, right? Even if it’s my mum's uncle's great nephew's mum. But yeah, in all seriousness, all the best fellas. Think we all could do with this international break.
Diddly out.
21 Mar 2026 20:07:39
Good stuff, Robbo. And yes, agreed. Keep sharing.
21 Mar 2026 20:08:45
Im checking every 10mins myself. Gotta be it now.
21 Mar 2026 20:16:12
Time for Jones to find a new club.
Robbo has been one of our best ever buys.
But his time to leave is close.
Need a younger player to rotate with Kerkev.
21 Mar 2026 20:16:22
I think, no matter who it is, it's too little, too late in terms of top 4. Seeing the way results went for us these past couple weeks, only for us to totally blow it, is galling, and I'm starting to really resent Slot.
His terrible tactics, poor man management, and a seemingly controlled decline in fitness have destroyed everything Klopp built, including, and probably most galling of all, the mentality of both players and fans.
Slot, Hughes, and Edwards can all do one for me, ideally bringing Alonso in to give him a massive head start on next season.
Dreamland - Klopp DoF.
21 Mar 2026 20:33:53
Jones isn't and never will be good enough to be a starter. Should be sold in the summer.
21 Mar 2026 20:54:33
*Ned.
21 Mar 2026 21:09:54
Vik, I don't think anybody would argue he's a starter. But he's a good squad player, can fill a number of roles adequately, kind of like Milner, but without the grit, determination, or work rate. This is getting worse the more I argue it.
Basically, it would probably cost you twice as much as what he's worth to bring in somebody of similar experience, and if you bring in somebody of higher quality, they're not going to be happy sitting on the bench.
21 Mar 2026 21:46:20
He's not at all a "good squad player" because he's absolutely hopeless when he sets foot on the pitch. There's not one single thing he is any good at. He can't defend, he can't attack, he's rubbish in possession, he's even worse out of possession, he has no positional sense, has room temperature IQ, and has zero football intelligence.
He's nothing like Milner. Milner was competent, gave 100% and always got stuck in. Jones is not competent and does none of that, a hopeless player who should be moved on.
21 Mar 2026 23:12:23
Chewy, Jones is not a good squad player. He scores once every couple of months. Today he was walking when we were under attack. His time is up. He has not progressed and is below what the club needs. I don't want to say this, because I wanted him to succeed. May I say there are more players that need moving on ASAP.
22 Mar 2026 08:23:23
I have said from the off that our squad is not good enough to play 3 games a week. It lacks intensity and physicality.
Opinions on whether Jones coming on to replace Ekitiki and running around for 80 minutes, passing sideways and backwards without breaking sweat, deserves to be given a new contract or not, sums up my feelings in a nutshell.
Jones is a scouser, blah blah blah. To me, he is an enigma. I look at his attributes and see similar qualities to Jordan Henderson, in that he can run and pass sideways and backwards, but he lacks Jordan's desire and fight.
I remember coming on here and defending Hendo when he was a kid, and saying that the lad gives everything, and I was made up when he started achieving the rewards for his endeavour.
I watch Jones, and I don't see that same fight and desire.
Joe Gomez is the same in some ways, but he also has the unfortunate inability to stay fit.
Andy Robertson's age has caught up with him.
Chiesa has fight and desire, but his body has never recovered from the ACL injury six years ago.
At this present time, these 4 players are being asked to come on to the pitch and change the outcome of a game.
I am not blaming these players for our season, by the way. I am just saying that they are not good enough to consistently perform to the standards we need.
Paisley would have got rid of these 4 players last summer, based on what they showed last season.
22 Mar 2026 08:31:36
If you watched Jones yesterday, he does sweet f.a and it's the same.
All over the place, but I wouldn't give him a new contract. Nyoni should be given his minutes, can't be any worse.
21 Mar 2026 17:11:02
Afternoon gents.
A friend of a friend has told me, his time is up.
Whether this means Mr Gerrard will step in until the summer? I'm not sure.
But there has been talks. Very frequent ones.
Cheers.
21 Mar 2026 17:27:26
Nothing against you or the mate, but we are hearing it wks from all sorts! Sadly, I'll not be believing it till it's all over the news.
21 Mar 2026 17:37:22
Hughes and Edwards both need to go for letting this go on this long. They should've been sacked months ago.
21 Mar 2026 17:40:18
Didn't Gerrard recently defend Slot, saying he lacks the depth to compete in both the league and Europe? I struggle to see how he can take over with that attitude. I would be interested to hear his answer to which competition he plans to sacrifice in his first press conference.
21 Mar 2026 17:42:58
* He should've been sacked months ago. That was meant to say.
21 Mar 2026 17:43:20
"If he loses the next game he's gone." 😂😂
21 Mar 2026 17:47:31
Well, if he's gone, he can blame that dreaded Brighton low block. Oh, wait.
For a manager not wanting to offer excuses today, well, he didn't do so well in that category either.
21 Mar 2026 17:51:21
Is there any reason it's Gerrard and not Alonso if Alonso is going to be the next manager?
21 Mar 2026 17:58:45
Come on, all these rumours only start when we lose. Tumbleweeds here after the win vs Gala. It's clearly a personnel issue more than anything. Today's game made that very evident. No coaching change will make much of a difference - need a transfer window.
21 Mar 2026 17:59:57
Babbity Rabbity, Gerrard's been openly critical of many of Slot's decisions. His comments in regard to squad depth were not to defend Slot, he was simply agreeing that there's a need for squad depth when competing in multiple competitions, where you've got limited recovery time and a lengthy injury list. This is a fact, and by no means a measure of his attitude or capability.
21 Mar 2026 18:03:36
Total & utter dereliction of duty if they bomb him out now!
They should have had the balls to make the big call weeks, even months ago, when a large part of the season was still salvageable.
The very fact they didn't want to back him in January was enough reason to think they were looking to go in a different direction come the end of the season, and that's when they should have made the decision! Now all we've got is a disjointed playing squad who plainly are as much to blame, but also led by total incompetence by all above!
21 Mar 2026 18:04:23
FSG need to ease off on their sell-to-buy policy a bit, also. Season after season, they are leaving the squad short, cut to its bare bones. We need a bigger squad.
21 Mar 2026 18:04:33
IagoAspasCorners, are you Arne in disguise? ;-) Utd fans could've said the same about Amorim, before they bought in an ex-midfielder. Football is more about vibes and morale than anyone cares to admit. Never seen an LFC in such need of some short-term passion to fire them up.
21 Mar 2026 18:17:21
Chewy, I agree that depth needs to be improved, but in the hypothetical situation that Gerrard comes in as interim, I don't think he is doing himself any favours with these comments.
It's a redundant issue under Slot anyway, as he doesn't use the squad depth to its full utility.
He never has. Squad rotation and management are yet another failing of his.
People have defended Slot, saying, "we bought seven but sold nine", but of the nine we sold, he barely played the majority of them. There's no point in him having extra players he won't use.
21 Mar 2026 18:21:33
Has he gone yet?
21 Mar 2026 18:45:58
I hope you're right, but there's been too many recently about his time being up and then the fraud continues.
21 Mar 2026 18:47:05
@RedMick, We have spent £450m in the summer. What we need is a manager who can get the best out of them. Slot is not doing that.
I feel that he is sabotaging the team wilfully with his tactics because he did not get the players he wanted in the summer.
We need a new manager and another summer transfer window to get the right players in.
Slot is gone 100%.
21 Mar 2026 18:57:30
AYB, Not sure he's doing it willfully, but, on the evidence so many times this season, there are not too many other explanations in play.
21 Mar 2026 19:33:48
I think, because he knows he's gone in the summer, he's had no incentive to change his approach, instead opting to try and prove everyone wrong, and his tactics will work eventually.
21 Mar 2026 19:43:25
The delusion from some on here is almost as wild as how out of his depth Slot is.
Most people have been calling for Slot to be sacked since November, after the first three times he's managed false dawns, only to revert back to Slotball and brainless formations the next game and drop points to a relegation side.
I'm not sure how much more evidence some of you need. I think you must be Slot's PR team doing damage control.
If you're seriously blaming the squad, how did this lot win the league and manage to put in good performances once they press high, outrun the opposition, move the ball quickly, and don't have mids in defense, no shape in mid, and try to play Gakpo and Salah as our width?
It's really not hard to figure out, once you stop believing that Slot can turn this around.
He's the problem, not the solution with this team, and he's shown it over and over and over.
21 Mar 2026 19:50:38
The only thing he's changing, Kopcat, is how fans will remember him. A title-winner who ripped up a winning formula in a single season.
21 Mar 2026 19:55:09
If I recall correctly, snuggle, Klopp also played Salah wide 3-4 seasons ago and he wasn't nearly so effective. Salah and Gakpo are both very average glued to the touchline. Some, or most, would argue Gakpo is very average anywhere else on the pitch.
With reference to being the solution or the problem, Slot is very much the latter. If you are the problem, you aren't the solution.
21 Mar 2026 20:02:08
Is there enough time to get the players fit enough to properly play with a high intensity every game if an interim was appointed?
21 Mar 2026 20:10:59
We'll lose a game with 3 r 4 games to go and people will be coming on here saying he has to go. And the ITK's will be all over the place with notions of meetings and Zoom calls. 😆 Slot is here till May, there's 7 games left for Christ's sake. I don't know why people keep doing this to themselves.
21 Mar 2026 20:43:38
We'll lose more than a game. Not your point, obviously, but that much is sure.
21 Mar 2026 21:06:58
TSK, I agree on both Chiesa and Konate. Terrible today.
21 Mar 2026 21:27:02
Tsk, Chiesa is still better than Gakpo. We also saw what he did last year with Elliott, Endo, Quansah, Morton. He used Nunez and Jota slightly more, but not by much. If he won't rotate the squad properly until he's got two £50m players in each position, I'm sorry to break it to him, but football doesn't work like that.
Klopp was competing for the top trophies with Origi and Shaqiri as backup to Mane, Firmino and Salah, and Shaqiri was injured half the time.
21 Mar 2026 21:36:53
Agreed. This is a rumour site and I take all with a pinch of salt but there is too many itks now that I am at the stage now that what will be will be. Eds hope you are keeping well and hopefully we get something concrete soon as I'm sure it is driving you lot up the wall.
22 Mar 2026 04:25:04
It is almost like the Hodgson days, except 2 big differences.
Slot did win #20, and he talks much more sense than Hodgson.
Still, enough is enough.
It seems like the players are not responding to him at all.
And the performance, I just hope to fast forward the game all the time.
Jones was slated, it appeared, and I think he thoroughly deserved it. I see no purpose in his play. Bang average, and he is absolutely inviting pressure for opponents to win the ball off him with his demeanour, speed and strength.
Konate had a horror of a game.
So did Macca.
Oh, not to mention the love-son Gakpo. Macca and Gakpo, it has come to be expected of them recently.
I will be even more glad to see the back of them, even more so than Jones.
I give 1 to all of them, and perhaps a 2 to Macca.
21 Mar 2026 16:04:37
Hi all,
Big movement behind the scenes. The board seem to be leaning towards parting ways with Slot during the international break. Going to stick my neck on the line here and say I think it’s the end of the line for Arne.
21 Mar 2026 16:24:39
Sure took their time!
21 Mar 2026 16:24:50
Fingers crossed they make the right call!
21 Mar 2026 16:25:08
Victor, don't tease us.
21 Mar 2026 16:29:02
Well...
SG has been a bit extra feisty on the sidelines on the TV the last couple of weeks. Perhaps he was sending a message to the suits as well as the fans...
At the very least, hopefully, he can get these players playing again, and shake off this negative nonsense we like to play.
Even if it's just to clear the closet out, ready for the new chap...
21 Mar 2026 16:30:47
Hope you're right, Victor.
Diddly Out.
21 Mar 2026 16:35:28
I hope it's not an interim and they hire the permanent replacement. It will give him a head start on next season. I've got to believe they've already chosen the successor and have had conversations behind the scenes.
21 Mar 2026 16:35:39
No offence, but this has been said after every defeat. I fully expect Slot to be picking Gakpo for the City game.
21 Mar 2026 16:38:41
Leaning? Slot should have been sacked in November. That way, the interim manager would have had time to steady the ship until a viable option (Alonso at the start of the year) became available. Instead, we kept this manager, and look where we are.
Our club has become so poorly run it's almost comical. True leadership is decisive and proactive instead of indecisive and reactive.
21 Mar 2026 16:42:26
What I do not understand is how come they move big after every loss and sit tight when we win midweek? :) Shows how fickle the guys up there are.
21 Mar 2026 16:47:30
Really, it is time for him to go. I would have more respect for him if he was in any way self-effacing about his own shortcomings, but he is blaming everything except himself and his rubbish tactics.
Oh dear, two games in a week?
Give me a break. It is an honour to manage the club, and he has never truly gotten that.
21 Mar 2026 17:01:51
Yeah, whatever. 👍🏼
21 Mar 2026 17:04:06
Not to worry, people.... We'll have the tweets from VVD and Szlob later, saying they tried their best, and onto the next game to regroup. 🤬
21 Mar 2026 17:09:08
Probably too late.
21 Mar 2026 17:11:31
I'll believe it when I see it. I'm at the point where I have next to no faith that the leadership at this club are capable of making any kind of decision, let alone a sensible one.
That's the biggest issue for me by far. Total lack of leadership on and off the pitch.
No passion, no care, no emotion. The management needs to go, the coaches need to go, and the players need to hold their heads in shame for letting what Klopp built completely fall apart. Disgraceful.

That's what has always shocked me, Cantremember. In my lifetime, every single manager has understood what a privilege and big deal it is to manage Liverpool. They might have been flawed in other ways, and overall disappointed, but they have always treated the role with enormous respect.
Rafa and Klopp both joined with incredibly impressive CVs from big clubs in Europe, at a time when we were significantly poorer, both in terms of quality on the pitch, infrastructure, reputation and finances. They both dedicated their lives to improving us, even sacrificing their health. I remember Klopp used to do silly YouTube videos on the club's YouTube channel when he first joined. He was one of the elite managers in the world spending his spare time doing YouTube videos for a Europa League club. In truth, it was beneath him, but he understood how important it was to build a connection with the fans.
Now we have this guy who joined the club on the back of Klopp's achievements. We inherited one of the best squads in the world, with a budget that is astronomical compared to those of previous managers. His entire career has been in the Netherlands, and he treats the role like any passing job. I actually thought I misread when I read that he flies back to the Netherlands midweek. He does not treat the job seriously at all. It's scandalous to think he can behave like this when he's being paid six-figures-a-week. He clearly has never been willing to make the necessary commitment. If you want to see your family so badly, maybe use that six-figures-a-week salary to hire a private jet to fly your kids out to see you? Heaven forbid they even move here after two years. That would be far too much of a commitment.

Slot should go, but please not Gerrard as interim. He was a great player but an awful Premiership manager.

@Red_Riding_Hood or just how much nonsense "ITKs" invent. The reality is, the club will not be reviewing his position after every single win/loss.
It has been stated many times by proper journalists from very early on that the club will review this season at the end of the season.
Now, of course, that doesn't mean that Slot can't be sacked during the season, just that it's very, very unlikely.

1 point from Wolves, Spurs, Brighton. In any other season, that would be a crisis. This season, it's not surprising, but almost expected. We've all been placed in a cold pot, and slowly boiled.
Can't believe he mentioned net spend of 150m, then said take the Isak fee and he's playing with a "break-even squad." He should have started and stopped at "They were the better team."

Not the family thing again.

It's pure luck we are still in the running for the Champions League. I wanted Slot to do well, but in the Prem it is like watching the prelude to an accident in a 90s episode of Casualty. You know it's gonna go wrong, it's just a matter of time. To go from midweek, albeit against a team that does not travel well with no fans, to today, he has to go.
If it's Gerrard til the summer, then Xabi, I think it's got to happen now. It can't be worse. I love Milner, but a 40-year-old should not be bossing a game against the current champions. It has to come down to the manager/coaches, etc.

😁 Love it Jay Dub.

Bayern space reporting big announcement coming at 6.
21 Mar 2026 16:14:47
He is gone. Sacked. He has been called in and this time it's not for talks.
21 Mar 2026 16:18:05
Is there any indication it has anything to do with us?
21 Mar 2026 16:21:51
Fingers crossed.
I've resigned myself to the probability of it being season's end, but if it's true then I will get arrested as I'm running around the street naked to celebrate.
21 Mar 2026 16:41:26
That's the same 6 pm announcement to be broken by Indykaila too. These lot know us Liverpool fans are the most gullible and would bite at anything soft. :D
21 Mar 2026 16:47:12
The Bayern space thing is to do with Olise, I believe... We'll see.
He was spot on about Wirtz.
21 Mar 2026 16:52:27
Must be after the big meeting announced by Koptalk last Friday. 😁
21 Mar 2026 15:31:04
Surely that time up! Please some ITK give us some good news 🙏.
21 Mar 2026 16:18:29
We are sooooooooo crap in the Premier League. I could have written today's script in advance. No urgency, creativity, drive, created no real chances, got caught out in defence and conceded. Panic sets in late in the game, throw in Rio and Federico with 15 mins to go and pray for a miracle...
and be the second-best team, be outworked and outsmarted. This is the narrative for every game - it's simply unacceptable. It's time - he has to go.
21 Mar 2026 16:35:20
I wouldn't limit our crapness to just the Premier League... Wednesday night was a one off!
21 Mar 2026 16:53:08
What about Inter Milan, Reaper?
21 Mar 2026 17:12:07
Brighton outran us by 5km. It is the 27th time out of 31 PL games that the opposition have outrun us. After watching everybody work their a**e off midweek, all I can assume is that there is a complete lack of respect for the PL from the coaching staff and players.
21 Mar 2026 17:13:09
We've had some decent results in the CL, Ron, but hardly scintillating performances... Don't forget both Gala away matches and PSV! I can probably name our decent performances this season on one hand.

Hi Ed
With FSG reportedly stepping away from multi club ownership, do you think they could now be looking to sell the club?
Thanks.
{Ed001's Note - they have been chasing investment for years and gradually selling off small pieces. I expect they will continue down that route.}
