Mukesh Ambani ed002. I've heard of his previous interest in the club with reports going as far as saying he's had bids turned down. Do you see him being in the mix as a potential bidder.
{Ed002's Note - I would very much doubt it.}
1.) 07 Nov 2022 17:17:36
Sheikh Khaled Bin Zayed Al Nehaya Is the name being mentioned, tried to buy us a few years ago.
Cousin of City owner. Although RedBird remains favourite which will be more of the same, FSG approach.
2.) 07 Nov 2022 17:24:05
I’m not sure I got any of that statement to infer a sale. Sounded more like FSG might want to cash out some of their shares which is a completely different thing to an actual sale - basically they’d be trying to take out some of the value they’ve seen added to the club since they bought it?
3.) 07 Nov 2022 18:26:12
Think it may be a sale of club. An investment could have been done without the public statement.
Maybe Jim Ratcliffe will be interested…. Just the issue of him being a Man Utd supporter and Chelsea season ticket holder!
4.) 07 Nov 2022 19:22:10
Didn’t bin khaled zayed Al nehaya (excuse my typing) recently die?
5.) 07 Nov 2022 17:30:35
Thank you for your response ed002. Is there a particular reason why he wouldn't have interest (mukesh ambani) or is it just a case of him not being interested.
{Ed002's Note - Try the question the other way, why would he be interested? Liverpool supporters are clearly just going through the lists of wealthy people and somehow fantasising that they will be buying the club Redmick.}
6.) 07 Nov 2022 21:10:25
I’m fantasising about Musk and Bezos as joint owners.
7.) 08 Nov 2022 02:45:34
I wish i was rich?.
8.) 09 Nov 2022 15:33:07
War machine
Bezos would have mo and co delivering parcels after training ?.
16 Jun 2022 13:58:22
Ed002 do you still see liverpool bringing in a cm this summer. P. Joyce (usually spot on) seems to think we'll go with what we have till next summer.
{Ed002's Note - My expectations have not changed.}
1.) 16 Jun 2022 18:03:48
Is that a no Ed002?
Surely if 3 attackers leave, are Carvalho and Nunez enough to cover the 3, and if the Ox leaves and the main 3 MF's tend to get injured more often, is it sane to leave it? FSG are supposed to be backing JK, not only selling to buy.
{Ed002's Note - I don’t understand.}
2.) 16 Jun 2022 18:26:34
Feck P. Joyce I'm going with you ed002. Cheers for the reply fella.
3.) 16 Jun 2022 19:05:31
Ed2 has said he thinks there will be a m/ f signed I’ll go with that . tbh we don’t no what’s going on behind the scenes and Paul Joyce probably doesn’t.
4.) 16 Jun 2022 19:50:02
Neuhaus? Please! ?.
5.) 16 Jun 2022 19:53:13
Who are the 3 attackers leaving spaceman?
6.) 16 Jun 2022 20:14:44
Origi has already left, with Mane and Minamino looking likely to leave, but we have signed Nunez which leaves us with 5 top quality attackers in Diaz, Salah, Firmino, Jota and Nunez plus Elliot and Carvalho who can both play as attackers and a whole host of very promising youngsters like Gordon. We do not need anymore attacking players.
7.) 16 Jun 2022 20:18:21
What does m/ f mean?
8.) 16 Jun 2022 20:27:27
Midfield Razor, or mother f@£%er!
9.) 16 Jun 2022 20:30:05
Midfielder.
10.) 16 Jun 2022 20:38:46
We need a midfielder. And I think we’ll get one.
Let’s face it it was the difference last year, I feel like we will sign one towards the end of the window and we’ll win the league.
11.) 16 Jun 2022 20:52:28
Isn't Firmino going to leave too? He has hardly featured.
12.) 16 Jun 2022 22:53:25
I have saved the list that Ed has mentioned about CM players that LFC interested to.
1. Vitinho : probably heading elsewhere, so i will marked it "X".
2. Otavio
3. Merino
4. Kalvin Phillips
5. Bissouma "X"
6. Fabio Vieira "X"
7. Sangare
8. Laimer
9. Trindade
CMIIW Ed.
Thank you.
13.) 16 Jun 2022 23:07:25
Is it me or was that a little sarcastic and snide dig at the Eds by Acered in regards to 'don't hold your breath. ' If I'm wrong then sorry, I misinterpreted it but if I'm right then what a dick.
14.) 16 Jun 2022 23:37:51
I think you could also mark "x" on laimer. He also probably going elsewhere, possibly bayern.
15.) 17 Jun 2022 00:49:35
And Phillips who looks like he is joining Man City, with Grealish and Sterling and perhaps Rice. As an aside to you think Pep secretly wants to be Southgate?
16.) 17 Jun 2022 01:21:01
Yes, based on some reports Laimer was on Bayern's list and Kalvin Phillips was on Man City's list.
Assuming that reports was correct, meaning LFC's MC target will be:
1. Otavio
2. Merino
3. Sangare
4. Trindade
CMIIW, please.
Thank you.
17.) 17 Jun 2022 07:10:36
Some good detective work there. Now watch us sign someone no one even knew existed.
It has to be someone who can cover Fab as well as play another position well.
18.) 17 Jun 2022 07:30:54
Out of those I think I’d take Trindade.
19.) 17 Jun 2022 08:16:45
Who is Trindade and who does he play for? I seem to remember Ed2 suggesting he may fail to get a WP which means we'd probably have to play well over the odds?
20.) 17 Jun 2022 09:20:32
RedNick, 20 year old Brazilian lad. Andre Trindade. Plays for Fluminese.
Work permit would probably only be granted if we a) paid over the odds or b) could convince an independent panel he is an exceptional talent.
Never seen him play and anybody who says they have is most likely lying to themselves ? shows how desperate people are to sign A. N. Other that they'll take a completely unknown quantity over someone from our own academy.
21.) 17 Jun 2022 14:11:57
Certain you can't refer to an independent panel anymore. Need to significantly overpay as he not a full international. My gut feeling says Otavio with Hendo, Thiago and Morton cover for Fab. Key words are sustained interest in him and he's versatile.
21 Jan 2022 19:24:37
Rayan Cherki of lyon ed002 is he someone who you know that Liverpool have a strong interest in. Looks like a smashing player and only going to get better.
{Ed002's Note - He may well have been looked at but I am not aware of any approach.}
1.) 21 Jan 2022 22:36:26
Cheers ed002.
30 Jul 2021 21:44:24
Edoo2 a few rumours on twitter with regards a move for Aouar of lyon. Heard of any liverpool interest your end. TIA.
{Ed002's Note - No sorry.}
1.) 31 Jul 2021 10:52:39
He is available on the cheap and looks to have great potential. I'd still take Biss over him though.
2.) 31 Jul 2021 11:17:56
As soon as you see "Tw@tter" mentioned you just know.
3.) 31 Jul 2021 15:50:47
This was a couple of years ago. Same as Zielinski.
And Mkhitarian. And Yarmolenko.
03 May 2020 00:14:18
Ed 002 do you know if liverpool has any interest in Aouar of lyon and what are your thoughts on him as a player.
{Ed002's Note - Houssem Aouar (CM/AM) Manchester City approached Lyon about Aouar and Ndombele last summer and it was made clear that only one of these two key players will be allowed to leave then - Manchester City maintain an interest but he is not first choice, as do Juventus but the interest of Barcelona has gone. Arsenal also maintain an interest but have a financial issue and will need to sell to bring in funds - they are also less attractive without Champions League football and I would strike. I expect Lyon to reject any approach and the player will stay another season at Lyon.}

Ed001 mate have you done an athletico review.
{Ed0666's Note - he’s a lazy twat he doesn't do reviews for European games
1.) 23 Oct 2021 16:53:37
Your the only one who could get away with that Ed. What’s your thoughts on tomorrow’s game mate?
{Ed0666's Note - ha ha. Ok my two pennies worth on tomorrows game. I think we’ll win, I think we’ll score our customary three goals, I think they’ll score and I think De Gea will have a good game. I’ll be more confident with a Fab, Hendo & Jones midfield and less so with Milner, Keita or Ox in there. I have a funny feeling the Ox may get a chance if Jones doesn't get a starting place. He’s had a couple of food cameos but wether he can sustain that for 90 mins is debatable but there’s only one way to find out. People thinking united are just gonna roll over for a belly rub are not applying the laws of a north west derby. There will be blood and guts and probably a sending off. They have weapons all over the place and their much maligned midfield can be invigorated by a swashbuckling display by either pogba or mctominay. The only weakness I see is their defense which can be exploited and we have the tools to do that. Shaw v Salah is the crucial duel for me because if they keep The Egyptian King occupied or better double up on him and there’s an overload on the right it will provide space in the middle and on the left for Mane or Jota/Bobby to exploit. McGuire is rusty and can be got at. Of course Ronaldo and his man slave will have something to say about the situation so we’ll have to be switched on from second 1. It’s paramount our press when we press works in unison. 3-1 to us.
How about you Mark what’s your prediction?
2.) 23 Oct 2021 17:31:40
It’s the one game of the season I don’t really look forward to. I just hope we play well, and if we do we will win. I was slightly disappointed with our Chelsea and City performances, we must improve on those 2 games. I like a midfield as you suggest and I liked OX for his performance v AM but he can’t play 90min. I have a 1-1 feeling but Salah is the man and I expect a refreshed Fabs to boss the midfield so Bob my final answer is 2-1 to Liverpool.
3.) 23 Oct 2021 17:37:31
Ed was his food cameo as an extra on Ramsays kitchen nightmares?
{Ed0666's Note - ha ha 😂. Should have spelt check
4.) 23 Oct 2021 17:57:19
I always dread this fixture. I think they will get their usual penalty. They've targeted Trent in previous games which I expect again. Fab and Matip need to make sure he's not isolated.
{Ed0666's Note - not 100% certain Matip plays. Maybe Gomez?
5.) 23 Oct 2021 18:07:48
I hope Gomez plays but it’s a big call. Would of liked Gomez to have played a few more matches.
6.) 23 Oct 2021 18:10:28
Yeah maybe. His pace maybe more suited to this game. As u have said we should definitely score. I'd play Tsimikas in this game. Wan Bissaka offers little threat going forward so I think we can afford to leave a bit more space on the left and his delivery may be crucial. U state Salah vs Shaw as a big battle but I also expect Mane to be right up for it on the other side.
7.) 23 Oct 2021 18:49:08
Bigbaz that’s a lie mate. Wan Bissaka offers no threat going forward.
8.) 23 Oct 2021 18:57:23
Soz JK I was trying to be a bit impartial.
9.) 23 Oct 2021 23:15:17
This will either be a 0-3 or 2-1 with Hendo sent off.
08 Oct 2021 09:26:55
Right ed002 I'm going to cut to the chase, when is mukesh ambani buying liverpool. 🤣🤣🤣.
1.) 08 Oct 2021 09:37:23
Whatever you think about our current owners, I would suggest a quiet thanks that we haven’t got the new owners of Newcastle anywhere near us. Sports washing at its most unpalatable and odious.
{Ed002's Note - I am afraid to say that many Liverpool fans crave Arab owners and have done for years.}
2.) 08 Oct 2021 12:46:00
I spent a number of years in the Middle East and was even based in Saudi (Al Khobar) for a good period. My main client while I was out there was PIF and a number of other government backed entities. PIF are very much controlled by MBS and the Saudi government and anyone who says otherwise is not correct.
Big thing for me that really struck a cord on how strict the government can be while out there was that they would publish who was going to be executed that week in the local newspapers.
Red Sandman.
{Ed002's Note - The issue is not about the Saudi Government and PIF, but the the Saudi Government and the Consortium (which includes PIF).}
3.) 08 Oct 2021 12:55:45
Would take whoever has money and will spend it on the squad, a £200 mill summer spree without having to sell sounds exactly like what we have needed for a while, don't see the problem with rich owners.
4.) 08 Oct 2021 14:15:16
Despite what Shanks said, there are more important things than football - barbaric dictatorships are a matter of life and death to those who stand up to them. In that respect I completely disagree with you LancasterRed; sport without morals is no sport at all.
5.) 08 Oct 2021 14:19:32
I don't see a problem with rich owners either, we'd all be chuffed if it happened to us. It is what it is, a sign of the times. Yes there's far too much money in football but football is no longer a sport, it's a business, an investment. They aren't the first and certainly won't be the last, these rich billionaires aren't stupid, investing in the premier League is nothing short of golden, good for them.
6.) 08 Oct 2021 14:55:06
I agree Salah we would have preferred it if mega rich questionable owners haven’t become common place. But they are here to stay and at some point in the not too distant future it will be needs must. If City or Chelsea win the league no one will care who the owners are, just that they won it.
7.) 08 Oct 2021 15:06:22
I think it may be a bit hypocritical to say that mega rich owners with questionable backgrounds are what the club needs. FSG are business men who tried to get the club in a position to buy with out selling by taking them into the Super League. Which would have generated bags of income from streaming rights. But FSG were crucified for this, but Saudi ownership is spot on. This is the regime who murders journalists
Matt in FL.
8.) 08 Oct 2021 15:52:59
I feel like my brain has devolved a little reading this thread. Surely wr can distinguosh between rich owners and rich owners who have direct links to beach of human rights? And I'm not saying these guys do cos I don't actually know, but the definition of rich being the same as withoit morals isn't the same here.
9.) 08 Oct 2021 15:57:16
If we lived in a perfect world, obviously it would matter where the money came from, but, we don't, these countries in the Middle East and places like China don't really care about human nature like we do, takeovers like this are going to happen no matter how many hippies shout out or protest about it, money is money, and big money owners in football is king, maybe glue your self to St James Park in protest like these weapons are doing on the motorways, ha, but i'd give a left nut for Chelsea, City, PSG or Newcastle owners because like them or not, they are also business men, more so than FSG, that's why they have their wealth and they don't accept failure, so i don't get why these type of owners are looked upon as using clubs as play things, they want success more than anyone and are good owners to have.
10.) 08 Oct 2021 16:16:01
Accepting money from such dubious sources, knowingly or not, to support yourself or your family is one thing but to sell out our club with its history and traditions for the chance of signing an overpaid foreign player or two is a completely different moral kettle of fish and anyone suggesting it should be ashamed of themselves.
11.) 08 Oct 2021 16:28:42
These new owners are going to invest in the whole area. Jobs will be created etc that must be a good thing.
12.) 08 Oct 2021 16:48:31
Morals at highest level goes out of the window.
How many fans wanted Klopp to be sacked after continuous tapping players?
How many fans refused to go to Anfield after neighbouring homes were destroyed and forcefully underpaid to extend the ground?
I can go on and on, it seems people are happy to pick and choose what suits them lol.
13.) 08 Oct 2021 16:55:43
Comparing tapping up players to ordering the murder of a journalist, I've read it all now. Absolutely despicable that any of you are saying it's ok to turn a blind eye to this kind of behaviour. I actually can't believe what I have just read on here.
14.) 08 Oct 2021 17:00:06
Kopforever I’m not going to codone the things you state but please don’t try to compare tapping up players to a murderous regime that executes and silences 1,000s of human beings because they disagree with them. Get a grip.
15.) 08 Oct 2021 17:07:41
Imagine comparing tapping up players to be beheading people and murdering journalists. It appears some people would sell their soul for some success at what is ultimately just a game.
16.) 08 Oct 2021 17:09:03
Tapping up players compared to what goes on in Saudi Arabia? Jesus Christ now i have heard it all😆. This site attracts some nutjobs.
17.) 08 Oct 2021 17:12:47
You don’t have to like the owners to support the team. You have probably all supported footballers, singers, film stars etc who are utter horrible human beings. I want to watch winning, entertaining football. We will all be dead soon anyway.
18.) 08 Oct 2021 17:37:05
I don't want to win when you can literally buy ANY player, wheres the challenge in that? We have a manager now who builds a squad despite not having a bottomless pit and i love doing it that way, the way its meant to be. We have won 1 league title in 30 years and i have been perfectly happy supporting this club all that time.
19.) 08 Oct 2021 17:18:34
And some people sooner than they should be because of this regime that are coming in to own Newcastle. You’re a piece of work if you think that’s behaviour that can be ignored. I loved lost prophets when I was younger, when I heard what Ian Watkins did, I vouched never to listen to them again.
20.) 08 Oct 2021 17:43:29
I would rather see the team relegated and playing in the championship with the fans as owners than sell our souls and the team values for that kind of money. Liverpool is supposed to stand for something more than the game. It is the reason the team is special. I would rather go the Klopp direction and build within our means than splash cash on mercenaries and win every year. It is not special for City when they win the league, it is expected: anything less is a failure. Where is the fun or excitement in that? It is a shame that so many fans are willing to forget where the team comes from for a little taste of instant and unearned gratification.
21.) 08 Oct 2021 18:31:15
I wasn't comparing the situation, I hardly care what happens at City, Chelsea, Newcastle etc
Thanks guys for proving my point, as I said it depends what suits you then just taking stand on purely based on Morals.
Btw had no idea it was ok to force elders and young children's out of their house forcefully to just extend the stadium ðŸ‘.
22.) 08 Oct 2021 18:39:57
Anyone thinking that anyone is paying close to 2bn for us when the likes of Newcastle are available for 1/ 6 of that then your going to be very disappointed. If only we had billionaire owners 🤔, oh wait we do they're just tightðŸ˜.
23.) 08 Oct 2021 18:49:06
I daresay Abramovich has personally put people in the ground, but it doesn't bother Chelsea fans. The UAE (City's owners) and Shinawatra before them, have extremely poor records in relation to human rights - extrajudicial killings; suppressing insurgencies; failure to investigate allegations of torture; abuse of migrant workers; suppressing women's rights.
City fans turned a blind eye because the UAE is so far removed from any of their lives, it doesn't matter to them. The fact that people live and die at the hands of Mansour, doesn't matter to most because instant gratification was at hand with City becoming the powerhouse they are now.
It would be difficult and break my heart, but if LFC were bought by such people, I would have to jack it in. I know the World has changed - not for the better I believe - but think of what football means to you and should mean - winning fairly; competition; heart and soul.
It is just a business now and people like you and me are taken for a ride because of our passion. I go to the match when I can to do what I can for the team, but I don't buy kits (haven't since 1998), I don't subscribe to LFC TV. At its heart, footie is a game, followed by partisan people ( it doesn't really matter where you come from) but the soul is being ripped out by filthy rich people, with no clue about what the game means as a whole, or to its fans. All they want is your money to add to their already vast wealth.
24.) 08 Oct 2021 18:59:16
Lancaster red you are talking rubbish. These Shahs etc inherited titles and lands that happened to have crude oil under them. FSG bought a company that was mess, in LFC, for I think a reported 350 million and have turned it into a company worth billions - that's business management. Also by the tone of your right wing views you should find another team to support!
25.) 08 Oct 2021 19:32:35
kopforever, no one is saying Liverpool's owners are perfect but unless John Henry starts ordering hits on people I will continue to hold them in higher regard than the Newcastle owners no matter how much money they pump into the club.
Most people draw the line at murder, clearly you do not.
26.) 08 Oct 2021 19:43:34
Spot on Port red mate, no billionaire is going to spend 2B plus and top of it spend billions on us lol
Think Club such as us shouldn't need billionaire to compete, just like UTD. Think FSG have Failed in-terms of Marketing, Sponsors etc etc.
27.) 08 Oct 2021 20:19:59
Thunderbird it has nothing to do with FSG or owners at Newcastle.
I just hate hypocrisy, if today you've got balls to stand on Moral high ground, where were you and fans when elders and infants were being forcefully thrown out of their own homes?
28.) 08 Oct 2021 22:21:43
I love the club and I love the game. I love it when we take on the best and they put out the best they have and we beat them. However I don’t mind if we give it our best shot but come up short - I watch the game and support the best ClUB in the GAME because of what the game is to so many people and what the club stands for.
So, as much as the game means to me it is absolutely, totally irrelevant when compared to human suffering. With my hand on my heart and looking you all straight in the eye, I would not support the club being owned by owners who were complicit in the infringement of human rights. Football is a game, restricting, ignoring ot removing people’s basic human rights should not be tolerated in anyway.
29.) 09 Oct 2021 04:34:58
Calm down, calm down. lol wirraldean, please don't start talking politics and saying that you must be from a particular party if you want to support liverpool. Hate that sort of thing and makes zero sense.
30.) 09 Oct 2021 09:18:25
I find it funny how much this takeover is causing such a stir. I mean obviously I completely understand why but surely this just highlights the major flaws in the capitalist society we live in. It seems odd that people are calling this out but are probably wearing clothes made in sweatshops or using a phone that will have had components made by slaves or going on holiday to countries with awful human rights records and a lack of equality. Unfortunately this is the world we live in and to some degree are all guilty of buying in to. It's not right but it also shouldn't be a surprise.
31.) 09 Oct 2021 10:25:19
Yes, kopforever. We have balls and we stand on the high morals. Ostensibly, you have neither. And stop whining endlessly about displaced people as if (you actually care, and) they were thrown out on the street. There must have been clear compensation that they agreed to. Or are you not aware of the laws in the country.
32.) 09 Oct 2021 13:40:36
I'm aware ArAY hence they were speaking on SKY including older LFC fans how they were underpaid and were force to leave their own homes lol
It seems at that time your balls were wrapped under Stadium extension rather then taking moral high groundðŸ˜.
33.) 09 Oct 2021 19:00:08
It’s not hypocrisy to compare people being displaced with people being murdered differently. Both are bad but one is far worse than the other.
34.) 09 Oct 2021 19:55:55
I'm not denying, neither comparing or even defending like you.
Where were your morals or voice for older people and infants when they were forcefully being pushed out of their homes? *That's clearly hypocrisy which i absolutely hate it*.
35.) 09 Oct 2021 23:52:37
I didn’t even have an account on here when that was happening. I have said multiple times that FSG aren’t perfect and have done multiple bad things but they don’t come close to the Newcastle ownership. In your mind tapping up players is the same as murdering people, that’s messed up. You just seem intent on defending them no matter what.
36.) 10 Oct 2021 09:03:17
Again you're barking at wrong tree and just keep on proving my point.
I don't like hypocrite like you who defend "tapping up players, adults and infants being thrown out from their own homes by saying it's "not worse so let's turn out blind eye" coz at that time no one complained here but infact abused Ed2 in numbers for calling out LFC regime now all of a sudden let's take moral high ground despite it has nothing to do with us. I hardly Care what happens at Newcastle, Chelsea or City etc but I don't hesitate calling out hypocrisy here.
I still haven't forgotten how LFC fans were literally praying "yes literally praying here for regime's like Saudis, etc to come and bail us out when we were close to go bust during Hicks and Gillett time lol.
37.) 11 Oct 2021 09:23:40
Wirral you have zero idea what my views are and certainly don't have any right to judge who can and can't support the team, you need to wake up and realize the world is never going to be at peace or perfect, as long as humans are around there will be constant conflict, greed etc etc, we just pray that the ones with the good keep on top, football is about money now and trophies, high morals don't get you anything, working hard gets you so far, and our owners forced out people from their homes to build that stand so not completely saintly, clubs need big backing to go forward, we are missing out on 3/ 4 titles by not getting the required quality, many peoples opinions too so if you don't like it that's your problem to deal with, not mine.
30 Aug 2021 13:49:16
"Liverpool don't feel the need to pursue a new sporting director as they feel young Harvey Elliott can provide adequate cover in this position". Hey if you don't laugh you'll cry.
1.) 30 Aug 2021 14:24:59
I don’t get the joke, OP.
2.) 30 Aug 2021 14:32:58
Tickled me this.

Classic, you couldn’t make it up.
4.) 30 Aug 2021 16:47:35
The ball boys and tea lady’s are off too - with no pre agreement for Mbappe, Camivinga and Haaland….
Not signjng Havertz or Sancho and more recently Ronaldo
Not signing Sarr before he went to Watford or Doku to Rennes
They’ve just had enough, who can blame them 😂.

Can any of the eds even begin to explain to me what Chris kavanagh seen in that split second review of var that confirmed to him that he made the correct decision with regards to the penalty decision.
{Ed001's Note - nope, he never even looked. He was desperate to give the decision.}
1.) 20 Feb 2021 21:58:47
Truly awful decision. Reminded me of when Mane had to jump over Darlow and VAR didn't even look at it even though Darlow grabbed Mane with both hands. "How was he supposed to get out the way? " is what the neutrals said. Well Trent wasn't even looking and got kneed in the back of the head! Pure arrogance from the ref to refuse to properly review his decision.
2.) 20 Feb 2021 22:01:39
They need to be made accountable ed001. Every game at least one bad var decision against liverpool. No excuses about the result though because if you don't score you don't win simple as that. Really concerned about bobby also, 3 goals in a year is atrocious form for your main striker. And to then turn to origi who hasn't scored in over a year. Also some of klopps decision making is bad. don't know what Phillip's has done to be getting over looked every week. Play defender's in defence and midfielders in midfield and enough with this crap we've been subjected to since Christmas.
3.) 20 Feb 2021 22:02:56
I have never seen someone go to the VAR screen and just turn around. I watched it and thought, he had already made up his mind when they told him to go check. Beggars belief but like I said in another post no point complaining. Nothing will change in regards to the refereeing standards. The refs are a law onto themselves and unfortunately there are no consequences for their decisions.
4.) 20 Feb 2021 22:13:09
Trent should have known better. He should have dissolved into thin air after falling.
5.) 20 Feb 2021 22:25:04
It struck me as someone told to view the monitor, went over to appease VAR but knew he was 'right' and he acted like he had to follow procedure of marching over to the screen
It isn't the reason we lost but the whole process of getting to that decision was flawed imo.
6.) 20 Feb 2021 22:26:31
We wer nvr going to score anyway!
F#%k var since when do we rely on it English refs are absolutely poison and a joke to themselves!
Some of ye decisions in the premier league will come up in the future and you’ll hear refs threw the matches I’ll bet my house on it and I’m not just talking LFC games! Until sumthn is done it won’t change.
7.) 20 Feb 2021 22:41:30
We could have played for another 90 hours and we wouldn’t have scored.
{Ed0666's Note - we were never ever gonna score today it was woeful.
8.) 20 Feb 2021 22:52:45
I’m sorry but until referees start doing their jobs properly I’ll never respect a single one of them. Now that doesn’t mean they should get death threats that’s vile, but in England they’re all inadequate. They get paid great money, they have VAR which is supposed to help yet they’re still so abd. I work at sea, if I make a mistake as big as that woeful penalty decision, I probably go to prison. Now I’m not saying they should go to prison, that’s ridiculous but they earn more than me yet such c*ck ups fo unpunished. It’s a farce. VAR is great the absolute morons using it need disposing of.
{Ed0666's Note - absolutely nothing wrong with sending some inept refs to jail. Maybe a stint as a prison bitch would bring them to their senses
28 Jan 2021 23:07:10
Welcome back trent we've missed you kid. Also special shout out to Milner who was motm tonight.
1.) 28 Jan 2021 23:46:32
Henderson was (as Brendan Rodgers would say) outstanding too. As much as he didn’t really work at Southampton as a centre back he’s learning very quickly and held the defence together brilliantly. Yeah, he may not be a better player than Gerrard, but all day long he’s a better captain and leader.
2.) 29 Jan 2021 00:03:49
They were all immense 6Times mate. Hendo was brilliant. Probably unfair to pick out individuals after a great team performance but trent has been poor most of the season and tonight i thought he looked back to somewhere close to his best. I could pick any of them really they were that good and looked like the liverpool pre C.V. that we had become accustomed to. The passing and moving was back and they all played for each other.
3.) 29 Jan 2021 09:09:20
The whole team was outstanding even tho, Milner would be my MOTM. He was like a 25 year old spring chicken out there. His appetite for the game is immense and I can see him playing for another 2 years with us if he will like to do so and should we want to keep him. Brilliant stuff.
10 Aug 2024 07:00:35
A loan will do him the world of good after a year out with injury. Zubimendi is a far superior player at the minute and in my opinion is exactly what liverpool have been missing.
29 Jun 2024 14:19:08
For the type of money being talked about I'd try and get Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from napoli. We have better players than Gordon already.
21 May 2024 18:16:47
The fella would get up on himself if he could turn quick enough.
11 Aug 2023 19:35:18
Valverde isn't a dm and neither is gravenberch.
07 Nov 2022 17:30:35
Thank you for your response ed002. Is there a particular reason why he wouldn't have interest (mukesh ambani) or is it just a case of him not being interested.
{Ed002's Note - Try the question the other way, why would he be interested? Liverpool supporters are clearly just going through the lists of wealthy people and somehow fantasising that they will be buying the club Redmick.}
28 Oct 2024 05:43:05
What about TAA? . At least Robertson's is a natural decline, whereas TAA's is total disinterest and lack of errort. The sooner he's gone the better.
14 May 2024 06:52:01
No physicality or athleticism in midfield. It's been like that since prime Fabinho.
08 Feb 2024 20:30:52
Over 41,000,000 wages for 76 league apps over 4 years. Up there with Kieta for one of the worst signings in our history.
26 Aug 2022 15:21:03
Ed001 couldn't agree more mate. He should remember he is an assistant and cut out the crap. He should remember what he is employed for. Wouldn't mind so much if he had any success attached to him but he got binned from the only managers job he ever had in the dutch league after a few months. Living off klopps name and success. Really beginning to irritate the life out of me.
{Ed001's Note - he is obviously a big part of the success, but only a part.}
26 Aug 2022 12:34:08
Ed001 mate if you have time, what's your opinion on pep linders. Do you think he's getting ahead of himself with all his interviews, book release and patrolling the technical area designated for managers.
{Ed001's Note - yes. It is starting to look confusing as to who is the boss. You need to have one clear leader. }
