Hi eds/ reds, I seen some rumours today that Matip is struggling with injury again which would leave us playing with no fit first team CBS, and eds or reds shed any light if it's true? Thanks.

1.) 15 Feb 2019 13:30:48
Pretty sure Matip was involved in this morning’s training session; saw him in one of the photos released by LFC.

2.) 15 Feb 2019 14:38:14
Matip is fit and the only fit cb currently.

3.) 15 Feb 2019 16:32:35
VVD is fit. He's just suspended.

Hi eds, just a quick question, I don't usually listen to gossip or rumours, anymore, but heard a report on merseyside radio that real had made contact with Liverpool over Salah, more rubbish or anything in it, cheers.

{Ed002's Note - I have explained this over and over - Salah had his representatives contact RM.}

1.) 20 Mar 2018 22:04:00
I think Ed2 mentioned this months ago lol or it certainly seems that long ago, old news.

2.) 20 Mar 2018 22:47:53
I understand that ed, I guess I was asking is reals interest that strong that they've contacted Liverpool over a possible move, cheers for the reply,

{Ed002's Note - over and over again. Read the posts.}

3.) 20 Mar 2018 21:54:44
Do you expect him to leave in the Summer ed?

{Ed002's Note - no}

4.) 21 Mar 2018 07:36:38
Ive been reading this page for what seems like a decade, back when Macca was a regular poster. Questions and replies like the ones above just seem to scream out journalist. don't know why you bother authorising the post.

5.) 21 Mar 2018 07:59:43
Chaps. I think we should just enjoy the wonderful football we are watching from Salah. I don’t think he’ll leave in the Summer but, if we’re not challenging for the PL and CL in the future and his form continues he’ll want to leave.

Only clubs like Man United can keep their top players without challenging, prime example De Gea. One of the best keepers in the world playing for poor United teams since Ferguson left. Difference is, they are paying him a fortune.

6.) 21 Mar 2018 09:58:35
For the top class players to stay let's face it you've got to be winning things consistently and not nearly every year 😉.

7.) 21 Mar 2018 13:42:15
De Gea would go if he had chance, but I think he has wanted away for a few seasons.

8.) 21 Mar 2018 14:29:47
Glad to hear he isn’t expected to leave next season!

Hi eds, just seen a few reports Liverpool have sent representatives to talk to benfica about a possible deal for William carvalho, I find this hard to believe myself, just wondering if there's any truth to this, thanks

{Ed002's Note - William Carvalho has been looked at by Liverpool so there is the chance that something can be done.}

1.) 24 Jan 2017 12:24:08
Are they asking benfica what they think of him port red, because I thought he played for sporting😂😂😂

According to Sport newspaper in Spain, Barcelona have agreed a loan with an option to buy deal with a Premier League club, for the transfer of Philippe Coutinho. Get ready for the onslaught of " are we interested" eds😂.

1.) 03 Aug 2019 12:41:54
No not this again. Hasn’t Klopp himself denied it weeks ago. Why would we take someone back who forced his way out of the club.

2.) 03 Aug 2019 12:45:44
He's going to Dundalk, you heard it here first.

3.) 03 Aug 2019 13:00:45
I don’t know if either of Ed001 or Ed002 can confirm this, but I’ve heard that Kia Joorabchian is persona non grata at Anfield after all the things that happened and Klopp is still pissed at Coutinho, so I can’t see how Coutinho could return?

4.) 03 Aug 2019 13:29:22
I'm just throwing it out there, and have no info and just guessing.

Do you think that Barcelona are trying to strike a deal with the Chinese club that were going to sign Bale?

If he chose to do that, he would slide way down in my opinion of him. Maybe I'm just putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5, but Pip's and Bale's scenarios are similar in that their clubs want them gone but no-one is around wanting to take them and they seem in no rush to move either.

5.) 03 Aug 2019 13:47:56
The Chinese club that bale was going to maxed thier foreign player limit the day after that day collapsed, also the window in China is closed.

6.) 03 Aug 2019 14:10:22
There’s also the 100% transfer tax levied on foreign transfers in China that’s putting paid to it. The Chinese club interested in Bale didn’t want to pay a fee, albeit only wanted to pay a very small fee, which Real didn’t want. I think Barcelona and Real will both end up with unhappy players they can’t get shot of as they want stupid money that they won’t get, even as a loan Barcelona want a loan fee of over £25m, which is much less than a third it would cost to get Fernandes. Serves them both right. Let him rot in his own faeces I say.

12 Jan 2019 13:36:16
I see the fat kid from Bolton is saying we've agreed a 46m deal for Werner for the summer😂, get read for the released questions eds😁.

{Ed002's Note - Great news. Will be a good addition.}

1.) 12 Jan 2019 13:54:55
It must be true that’s where Ed2 gets his info from!

2.) 12 Jan 2019 14:36:10
Odds on he’ll delete that tweet very soon.

3.) 12 Jan 2019 17:09:19
Yes, it’s Tom Werner just loaning the club some dosh.

4.) 12 Jan 2019 18:14:26
Why are we listening to a fat kid from Bolton regarding transfers, exactly?

5.) 12 Jan 2019 18:18:57
It’s cos he’s been so reliable in the past, RedWolf

Hi eds/ reds, a question for ed02 if your about? We were discussing the fact that the current New balance kit deal expires next summer and who we'd like the club to supply the next kit. A question arose, would Adidas or Nike for example have any clauses in their current deals stopping them for entering into a deal with Liverpool. Eg Adidas are with utd is there anything stopping them doing a deal with us, thanks.

{Ed002's Note - No, they wouldn’t, buy the kit deal does not run out next summer.}

1.) 01 Aug 2018 22:30:08
Ah ok, seen some reports in the media saying it was up then, thanks for the reply.

2.) 01 Aug 2018 23:29:41
Got a vague recollection that Ed002 said that the current kit deal had a few years yet to run.

3.) 02 Aug 2018 07:57:10
We seem to have missed out a little with the kit deal with warrior/ New Balance, it was great value when signed but it was for something daft like 7 years? And in that time the value of all things premier league has shot up in value and I believe we could get a lot more if we went out to tender this season.

13 May 2018 07:51:18
Hi ed, reds, can anyone settle an argument, I've 2 mates, one is saying sturridge can be added to our cl final day squad as he's played in the competition already and his loan will be over and the window open, the other is saying he can't be added to the squad, any help on this would be appreciated😁.

{Ed001's Note - the squad list can not be altered from the one given out after the January window closed.}

11 Apr 2018 20:52:36
Hi eds, just a quick question, will reaching the latter stages of the cl, and the financial rewards it brings change any of our targets for the summer, thanks.

{Ed002's Note - No.}

Ed02, you say clubs would not survive if next season is cancelled, Inc Liverpool, but most experts say a vaccine is at least 12 months away and social distancing measures will be in place til one is available. How can contact sprot continue next season if that's the case. Surely cannot be measures in place for some and not others,

{Ed002's Note - There has been no decision to stop all sport until a vaccine is available.}

You can't say anything on here or it's just shut down as being Liverpool biased, while we all want the title there's a load on the line for lots of clubs and nulling a praticcaly whole season because we have to worry bout the start of a next one it utter bollix,

What about Leeds utd, West brom Ed? As Liverpool fans yes we're worried about this season, but there's a hell of a lot more at stake than our title. Teams have spent fortunes to now see their chances of promotion, European football all gone. Its abs rubbish to strike off virtually a whole season just so the next one starts on time. The powers that be didn't give 2 ****s about clubs or leagues when they stuck a world Cup in the middle of the 2022 season.

{Ed002's Note - I have explained there is an option that would work for Leeds and West Brom. Which powers that be is it you are referring to? It is unrelated to the World Cup..}

What gobrubbishs are going to gather outside the stadium to see or hear nothing. No pubs open. Nowhere to watch the game, Surely "fans" want to see their teams play. I don't get why thousands we ould gather for nothing.

Before I get turned on I'm not defending any tapping up by anyone, but if I'm right a club can't speak directly to a player without the consent of his club, but can talk and negotiate with his agent without the permission of the club. there's no difference imo. The season arsene wenger left arsenal he said not one transfer window went by that that an illegal approach was made to one of his players, but rarely anyone gets punished? Until agents stop receiving the ridiculous amounts of money for transfers nothing is ever going to change.
