Goretzka now Demirbay, Klopp's looking for midfielders who shoot from distance.

1.) 02 Feb 2018 01:39:35
I've often wondered why this isn't a skill all professional footballers possess? Surely if it's your job you practice until you hit the target 9/10?

2.) 02 Feb 2018 02:41:43
Stoneage, that’s like saying they should all be able to use their weaker foot. Kind of seems they skip the basics (weaker foot, long shooting and DEFENDING) to mostly focus on fitness, passing, movement (and more) which is IMO ridiculous that they can’t do the basics considering the money they get paid xD

The Ox has got a cracking long shot on him sometimes, but his are more driven low with huge power than fly over the top of a whole team into the top corner, which is what we need for PTB teams.

3.) 02 Feb 2018 06:46:43
Ed01, do you think Demirbay was a knee jerk thing, or do you think we will be back for him in the summer?

{Ed001's Note - he was not knee jerk, Klopp has been tracking him for a while. No idea if we will go back in a few month's though as a lot can change by then.}

4.) 02 Feb 2018 06:49:04
Thanks for the quick reply ed01.

{Ed001's Note - welcome.}

5.) 02 Feb 2018 07:23:57
I said his when Coutinho left, that is what we’d miss most, games like Swansea where pace makes no difference as the team sit so deep it’s that bit of magic from outside the box we need.

6.) 02 Feb 2018 09:05:57
This "hitting the target" cliché is tedious and a product of the Andy Gray sky era. The first two yards distance travelled have far more bearing on whether long range shots are successful. Its about getting it past defenders legs or keepers range. That's why when you hear recent pros talking about shooting they talk of getting it between the legs or setting it outside the post.

7.) 02 Feb 2018 12:42:33
Hitting he target is easy. They can hit the target easily. Having a meaningful effort eg a shot fly just wide or just over that the keeper was nowhere near is far better than a typical shot on target. To score from distance you have to hit it with conviction and you have to execute your technique. To hit a shot the keeper can’t save from distance requires all of this baring a keepers mistake. Shots on target another meaningless stat unless there’s context.

8.) 02 Feb 2018 14:45:32
A lot CAN change by then I like it edds001.

9.) 03 Feb 2018 17:22:01
I read a stat somewhere about two weeks ago, Xhaka from Arsenal, had 37 shots from outside the box, only one goal, 3 guesses who he scored against .

Hi ed, with cl draw this evening and a lot of representatives of the club's in the same city do you expect it to kick start some movement in the market. Like any buisness it's an ideal situation to talk over such issues and it's conveniently before the end of the window.

{Ed002's Note - Yes, as every year, there are a lot of side discussions between various clubs.}

1.) 24 Aug 2017 14:21:12
Expect to see Barcelona reps sniffing round the Liverpool reps then lol.

{Ed002's Note - We'll see.}

2.) 24 Aug 2017 14:28:34
Did they bring their fax machines with them?

3.) 24 Aug 2017 18:32:37
Liverpool only sent club secatary and Ian rush, don't think they're will be to many conversations there😉.

23 Aug 2017 15:26:53
Who's got an update on can? At the moment coutinhio is in our hands, but if can does not sign we need to sell. We can't loose that kind of money. With Lucas gone if hendo gets injured were screwed. We're concentrating the wrong end for me it should be defensive mid, CB not attack. Anyone heard anything?

1.) 23 Aug 2017 15:36:38
Is Can a defensive mid?

2.) 23 Aug 2017 15:46:29
Yes, he is Cobra.

3.) 23 Aug 2017 16:05:24
*Insert Imaginary GIF Image Here*.

4.) 23 Aug 2017 16:08:02
William carvalo from sporting and and ketta blade from laziowould be good if coutinio and can go and have money over to get more in.

{Ed001's Note - why would Carvalho be good? What is so good about him?}

5.) 23 Aug 2017 16:33:47
Carvalho is awful!

6.) 23 Aug 2017 16:39:58
Ketta Blade, up there with Navy Keith for misspelling of the summer 😁.

7.) 23 Aug 2017 16:52:35
Where is "laziowould"?

8.) 23 Aug 2017 17:01:10
Who told you Henderson is a defensive mid! Just coz he plays there? Lol.

9.) 23 Aug 2017 17:20:46
If we weren't so short staffed he should be sold b4 window ends i doubt he has any intention of signing a new deal.

10.) 23 Aug 2017 17:47:15
Bingo-Can isn't a defensive midfielder has has shown he doesn't have the aptitude for it either.

11.) 23 Aug 2017 22:11:19
He has a nice moustache.

12.) 23 Aug 2017 22:29:32
I think Emre just added his tuppence worth to the - Can is a DM - argument.

13.) 24 Aug 2017 00:01:44
Can is a defensive midfielder when he is asked too. He is a box to box when asked too. Hendo was a box to box or attacking midfielder but has played defensive for some time. These players are not limited to a role on capability or request.

14.) 24 Aug 2017 08:00:04
Harry are you talking about Grzegorz Krychowiak? i've only seen him play a couple of times but he looks like he is good at reading a game. However is he quick enough for the EPL?

15.) 24 Aug 2017 13:06:09
Cobra, clearly you don't watch him closely.

10 Jun 2014 19:17:42
Hi Ed, around xmas time I remember trying to find out how Suso was doing over in Spain and I was surprised to see he was dropped, especially as he had just scored a couple and an assist ( maybe more?) in the games before that. It turns out he was fined and dropped for 4 matches for oversleeping and missing training.
I remember thinking at the time, that that seemed extremely harsh and strange for a young lad who was on form and one of the best players.
As far as your aware Ed is it just footballing ability and the fact we have players in that position that BR has decided to sell? it seems a strange decision given the lads ability and investment we have put in with him?

{Ed002's Note - It is what I have been saying - he wants a commitment the club won't give, so he won't sign a new contract, and he will be sold.}

1.) Good enough for me Ed.

2.) IMO Suso will be on Isco's level soon, BR is more focused on buying the next Coutinho than to give him a go. If we kept suso last season we could have saved 7m by not buying Alberto & the same goes for Borini and Aspas.

But how he spends the money he is allocated is up to him and we have had an amazing season so I'm happy.

We should try to include Suso in a deal for Alex Sandro if Moreno doesn't pan out or for Juan Quintero if we don't sign one of our reported W/AM targets; Lallana, Shaqiri or Markovic.

3.) I think it seems the fairest thing to do for both parties. As far as Isco, I am not sure.
he is really talented and have watched him a few times last season and was impressed but I do think some are blowing his talent out of proportion a little. He is one of the better young talents we have but we have a few others that are on, or near to his level, but in his position I think Rodgers is right not to make assurances as we need a consistent and brilliant creative link in the middle

4.) I hope we'll look for a buyback clause or at least a % of any future profit of his next sale. Some people wanted that for Shelvey, I didn't but I would like it for Suso.

{Ed002's Note - It won't happen.}

5.) 11 Jun 2014 14:12:39
Hi Ed002. Referring to the Buy Back Option - Do you mean that the buying club would not agree to this or do you think it would be us who would not look for this? (reduce the price now if it's the buying club)

{Ed002's Note - It is not going to happen - I don't want to get in to explaining why.}

6.) I was curious to see which side would prevent a buy back option because if it's that we don't look for it then it's us not rating him that highly but if it was the buying club then it would be them not wanting to give that option in case he fulfills his potential.

{Ed002's Note - That is simply not the case - I really don't want to get in to contract, all these little clauses Liverpool fans seem to have become keen on today or money. It will simply confuse.}

7.) That's fair enough. I've read a lot of foolish posts on money especially so fair enough.

08 Apr 2014 12:35:36
Hi Ed's, Erik Lamela was a name mentined a lot on here before he went to Spurs, now given that things haven't worked out for either spurs or him this season, do you see him staying there, or is he likely to become available again to provide funds for the next manager? probably impossible to say untill the new manager has a look at him, but I still think he could do well.

{Ed001's Note - he looks likely to move on, if a reasonable price can be got for him.}

1.) He will stay, sorry ed!

{Ed002's Note - I suspect it will depend on the new manager.}

My understanding is the work in the states with ox is good. He's expecting to be playing again in januaryy, maybe on the training pitch but kicking a ball. In a horrible twist his brother has broken his leg now as well. For those that don't know their mam Wendy is a physio so they will be doing their recovery work right. Nice family.

1.) 12 Sep 2018 08:15:00
Where did you hear this? he came out himself he's out till next season.

2.) 12 Sep 2018 08:24:48
Are you referring to a couple of months ago though PakRed? None one can put exact dates on these things so it is believable that he's ahead of schedule (or behind) . Fingers crossed this is correct information!

3.) 12 Sep 2018 08:32:44
Read it again Pakred, he isn't saying he will be playing on game day but back in with some training and ball work which would make sense in January.

4.) 13 Sep 2018 03:41:20
Probably from his Instagram, he's the new Enrique!

06 Sep 2018 20:45:57
The eds may have some thoughts on the young lad ampidou playing for wales tonight? Bossing the game. Like xabi with gerrads pace. Id forget all other options and sign this lad. bale and Ramsay and Allan outstanding but this lads above them tonight.

1.) 06 Sep 2018 21:37:29
Don't think Chelsea will bend over for you to sign him mate, he's very highly rated.

2.) 06 Sep 2018 22:10:27
I reckon I would have looked half decent playing against that Ireland team tonight.

3.) 07 Sep 2018 06:42:07
There’s World Cup fever, and then there’s sign someone up in a nothing game against a poor Ireland team.

If he’s as good as you think he is then Chelsea won’t be letting him go anytime soon.

{Ed001's Note - to be fair, he is that good.}

4.) 07 Sep 2018 20:03:41
Do you really date him that highly ed? Asking for an optimistic taffy.

{Ed001's Note - he is a fantastic talent. It was only injury that lost him his place in the Chelsea side last season.}

5.) 07 Sep 2018 21:18:49
Diolch yn fawr ed.

{Ed025's Note - your welcome..

6.) 07 Sep 2018 23:56:33
I would qualify the praise of Ampadu by pointing out that Ireland are a team of very average players that are managed by a dinosaur and an person.

And at this stage, I suspect none of the players want to play for the management team anymore and aren't exactly killing themselves for the shirt currently.

07 Jul 2018 15:22:02
For me this is woodburns year. two years since his debut. He has scored for us and Wales and turns 19 in October. Trent took his chance last season and now its bens. If not he needs to leave and I fear another suso. i really like brandt but why we buying when we have a kid who could be better? If Wilson is not going to be cover for our wingers then I like demerai grey at Leicester. And I like harry Maguire.

So for me sign 1. Maguire 2. Grey. Give Woodburn the chance . People forget that with the front three and couts playing we lost the balance at times defensively and looked better with the ox hendo and Milner playing. I think a top CB would b better. Look at the difference VVD made.

1.) 07 Jul 2018 17:08:10
RN first off, who is Grey? Second of all, Maguire is NOT a top CB and never has been. He is not even better than Lovren (who shut down CR7 in Kiev) so comparing him to VVD is a complete joke, IMO. Maguire may be doing fine at the WC but remember, he is playing in an England team that plays a deep-lying defence, which suits a severely slow CB like Maguire. LFC and Klopp do NOT play like England and never will based on what we have seen under Klopp. Maguire has NO pace, can't turn (see the way Salah spun him at Anfield last season), gets into no man's land when bringing the ball out and seeing him tracking back is worse than seeing Matip do it. All in all, not LFC standard, I'm afraid.

Also, us not being in control defensively in games has nothing to do with not having a top CB. It has all to do with us not being able to possess the ball in midfield more efficiently, something Fab and NK will hopefully fix. Also, our level of pressing drops off (which is normal based on low energy levels) and we did not have options to come into again, the midfield to keep harrying the oppo. and keep the ball better. There is a reason why each time we go 5 at the back, we concede. The issue is that if you play 5 at the back, you abandon the midfiled to the oppo. and they put extra bodies in attack and then boom, you concede. Hopefully, Klopp will fix it by fixing the midfield.

2.) 07 Jul 2018 17:20:02
You should have split your post - Woodburn, Wilson = 👍

The rest = 👎

3.) 07 Jul 2018 17:35:51
Lovren is a better player than maguire. Harry is very good at set pieces but lovren the better all round defender.

4.) 07 Jul 2018 17:50:08
Prince, Lovren is just as lethal as Maguire if not, more lethal in front of goal from set pieces. Lovs assisted Mane in Kiev off a corner, scored the goal that put out Dortmund in that crazy game at Anfield, scored from a a corner vs Brighton, hit the post off a corner vs Roma at home, scored the winner off a free kick vs Swansea in the League Cup. Need I say more?

5.) 07 Jul 2018 21:39:02
Both are good players, Lovren is more suited to Klopp's type of play.
Lovren has a set of cojones on him, I've got a lot of respect for the guy.

02 Jul 2018 11:29:05
been reading earlier post about pulusic, the lad is twevle months older than ben Woodburn who turned 19 in October, pulusic is allready established as a 40m plus player and highly sought after. Surely its time we trusted our acadamies best like we have with Trent instead of spending a fortune on fekir?

With hendo, Keita and the ox we don't need that position every game so game time will be hard otherwise. Lallana can play there and wilson can be added to team. Also all this talk of keepers why is ward not given a chance? If we don't rate him why bring him back from loans twice? We should have sold him to Huddersfield if he's not rated by klopp.

1.) 02 Jul 2018 11:49:39
RNred, the issue is whether our kids are as good as Pulisic, or Mbappe (to mention another 19 yo who is doing very well! ) .

Maybe they are, in which case we need to play them, as you say. However, I suspect they are not, otherwise Klopp would be playing them, as he has done with Trent and loads of other examples from his Dortmund days.

That's not to say that Woodburn and others may not make it in the first team, but I would doubt we could save money on people like Fekir and Pulisic by just playing our youth. We will certainly save money, but it must be Klopp's view that we need the players we are after, otherwise he wouldn't be after them!

I now, after several years, actually have faith in our manager and his recruitment.

2.) 02 Jul 2018 11:55:01
We should totally trust the youth mate and maybe show a little patience with them as they develop. I’m quietly hoping for Conor masterson to get a chance at the back this year.

3.) 02 Jul 2018 12:16:48
aoe, I think that's definitely the right approach with special talents (like TAA or, going back, Owen, Gerrard, Fowler, McManaman), or if you have a team that's already winning and competing each year (like us in the 70s/ 80s or United in the 90s/ 00s), then introducing youth one at a time is a great experience for them and the team.

However, right now, I'll trust Klopp. And if that means we end up buying players to complete our 1st team, then so be it.

4.) 02 Jul 2018 12:56:17
I was alluding to making an impression in preseason zed I should have added that at the end. I do think we should be bleeding one or two young lads into the squad as a whole. I really do like klopp but I can’t understand why we don’t give young lads a few mins at the end of matches to see if they rise to the occasion. A few mins to get them a taste without the fans building them up into something they are not. I don’t think any kid is a special talent until they step out on to the pitch. I honestly thought taa wasn’t seen as a future star when he was in the youth system but was merely a kid with good potential- like a few others (I could be wrong though) Honestly, I love an exciting bit of business done by the club as much as anybody, but I can’t but help worry that with transfers through the roof we should be doing absolutely everything to work on a truly world class youth system.

5.) 02 Jul 2018 13:47:32
I agree with posts about giving youth more opportunities but its easy for us to say that when our jobs aren't on the line. I would love nothing more than for us give Harry Wilson a chance I think the lad has some quality, but let's say he comes in for Mane/ Salah one game and scores/ assists a couple of goals, but the week after we play Utd at home. there's no way he keeps his place in the team if the others are fit and firing. It is always disappointing when a player that has been hyped up in our youth ranks leave without breaking into the first team, but how many of them ever really amount to anything? As far as i can remember only Suso has gone on to prove he has top quality. Gulasci would probably get into the squad but that's more indicative of our poor goalkeeping recruitment and coaching rather than anything else. For every Suso there's probably 20-30 players such as Rossiter, Coady, El Zhar, Tom Ince, Jordan Ibe etc etc. I will be disappointed especially if Harry Wilson leaves without having a chance as iv been waiting for him to come through for years, but if Klopp and club management doesn't think they are good enough then we have to trust they know what they are doing.

6.) 02 Jul 2018 14:31:05
aoe, I didn't really finish my post correctly either! My view is that, you're right, we'll never know about the youngsters if they're not given the odd few minutes here and there, but maybe there's a reason they're not, that Klopp sees but we don't?

There could be a multitude of reasons, but probably that they aren't ready yet, or, sadly, never will be.

I agree with Westwood, if there's a reason Klopp is looking to buy youngsters, its because he doesn't think that ours are either ready or ever will be, as seen by the number of players who have left whilst he's been here. Until he does something to lose my trust - like letting some like Paul Pogba go and then buying him back for £85m! - then I'll go with his choices.

7.) 02 Jul 2018 15:12:26
Hopefully a few of them show something in preseason to get into his thoughts.

8.) 02 Jul 2018 16:10:42
I have two issues with the way the youngsters are used. Firstly is the 'maybe they aren't good enough' discussion. My issue here is that if Klopp doesn't see them as being good enough and wants to buy young players to take the spot they are aiming for, why are they still around? Wilson is 21 years old for example - if Klopp doesn't intend to give him a chance because he's not good enough, why is he still with us? Why haven't we been looking to sell him? It's not right to keep them when they have no honest chance, they need some level of consistency to improve past a certain points and 2 loans a year don't give that.

The second issue is the 'job on the line' argument. Last season we won 18 games by 3 goals or more. 18. Woodburn played a grand total of 410 minutes in all competitions. Are we really trying to say that with our attacks job done early so often last season, we couldn't have given him 20 minutes and half an hour here and there rather than bringing on players like Milner and Klavan who will take nothing from that game time? Is it really likely that Klopps job would end up in uncertainty because of that game time? Not really, and who knows what sort of different someone like Woodburn with 1500 minutes of football under his belt and brimming with confidence could have made in the CL final when we desperately needed attacking threat.

Ultimately, if Klopp doesn't want to use the youth then that's his deal and he's the manager, he lives and died by that. But if he's going to use them, start taking advantage of our tendancy to dominate games and make their inclusion a foregone conclusion. If he's not, stop acting like he is and let them seek their success elsewhere.

9.) 02 Jul 2018 17:05:47
Can't answer the second point, hijkle, other than we did leak 2 soft goals against Man City in a short period of time, and 4th could have come down to GD.

However, on the first point, why he keeps them, because players mature at different rates, I guess? Look at Kane, for example. There's a article on the BBC Sport website about him and it was only when he broke through at Spurs that he became so well regarded. Before that, plenty of loans and wasn't even seen as the best in his age group at Spurs when he was in the youth teams.

Maybe Wilson is a late developer? Maybe Klopp needs a few looks at him? Maybe Woodburn has some hard yards to put in before he is deemed first team ready? I don't know. The only player treatment that puzzles me during Klopp's time is Ward. The rest don't seem so strange, to me anyway.

10.) 02 Jul 2018 19:48:07
Is Woodburn that good eds? I know he hasn't had many chances but when I've seen him play I've not been overly impressed. Am I wrong? Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - A K31.}

11.) 02 Jul 2018 23:34:36
I was at the wales game when Woodburn came on and run the show, out shining bale. he is class and given the chance is a future worldy.

12.) 03 Jul 2018 10:57:36
Zeddicus - that is true about Kane but it only happened because they played him in the Europa League and he seized his game time. If we don't trust them to make appearances, they have nothing to seize. We played West Brom in the FA Cup and Woodburn, Masterson, Jones etc weren't even on the bench. Leicester in the league cup, not only young player started and Woodburn was only bought on with the match effectively done. I get him saying they aren't good enough I really do, but at some point they need to be given a real chance in actual games. If we aren't willing to be that brave, let them try elsewhere.

26 Jan 2018 23:51:39
Personally I think fsg are doing a great job but I don't want to get into that too much. I imagine we're unlikely to sign anyone for the first team again this window so wondering if anyone could update us on what's happening with the next phase of the stadium work, why we have still not found a sponsor for the main stand, and how are we looking financially at the moment, given how much trouble we were in a couple of seasons ago. A general health update lol.

1.) 27 Jan 2018 01:07:31
From what Ed002 has told us we do have debt but nothing to worry about compared to other clubs, we look relatively healthy. The stadium will not be expanded any further unless infrastructure around the ground can be improved, which will be very tricky and imagine would likely have to be a deal struck between the council and LFC. We have a good manager, a good team, a good stadium, we are playing great football. I wish the fans would be treated better but other than that i really am not sure what people are not happy about. In the future we will look back at these times with nostalgia glasses, trust me.

2.) 27 Jan 2018 11:40:22
FSG have nothing to do with whether we sign someone or not. All the other stuff, only time will tell.

Moreno took unbelievable stick from so called fans as a youngster. Some of you have very short memories. The lad has developed well so pay him his dues and allow him the minutes when possible. On another note I mentioned a while ago an update on the ox and regarding his fitness and physio parent. I've heard today that's klopps update is conservative and could b available earlier.

No Arsenal?

{Ed002's Note - Arsenal has been involved in the discussions but has so far been one of the clubs not to commit to the breakaway, or explicitly say they won't be joining. Having now looked at what Der Spiegel has actually written it is clear that they have generally gotten matters right but have muddled what appears to be probably three or possibly four pieces of information, one of which is perhaps four years old. A lot has happened in that period and the "elite" sides continue to meet between one and three times a year to discuss matters, including this. I am pretty sure that I have sahred a lot of information, but certainly not all. You need to remember that this is not something new and there has been much publicitly given to the efforts of UEFA and others, to some extent now involving FIFA, to block it and somehow keep these clubs happy. There are counter-proposals to the pan-European breakaway that have partially been backed by UEFA to try and save their own skin. The first proposal is to rename and change the format of the UEFA Champions League to make it an elite closed-shop pan-European league with a fixed number of teams – and these would be the same teams every year and be based on past winners of the Champions League and European Cup and a few (not specified) more. It would then require the restructuring of the Europa League and the possible introduction of a lower-tier European competition again. Although they have yet to flesh out the detail and there is now a major concern that the impetus for this is not coming from Europe, although one major Football Association has given their support and discussions have also been held with the leading clubs from England (Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal - which is where Der Spiegel have their list from). The American backer, Stephen Ross, of the Miami Dolphins has on several occasions requested a meeting with an extant group of sides considering the pan-European breakaway to discuss his proposals. They have still yet to respond but having identified the source of much of the funding (and that raising a concern) will wish to discuss it between themselves first. This has dragged on for a year or more and nothing has happened - and I doubt it will but FIFA and some Japanese fincing are now supporting his proposal.

UEFA are also considering a variant proposal that would see some places in the CL fixed (probably to previous winners) and then see it supplemented by Champions and second place sides each season. This complicates matters again as it means the re-introduction of a third competition or the significant restructuring of the EL. The plan put to clubs is a summer/preseason tournament that will evolve in to a parallel league, and of course eventually in to a complete breakaway for these clubs. As a first step to all of this, UEFA have negotiated minor changes that will see the four entrants from England, Germany, Spain and Italy enter the existing Champions League group stages without any qualification beyond their National League position (so no entry to qualifying rounds). This has been agreed by the European Club Association but UEFA did not want to discuss it with the separate group of “elite” sides discussing the Pan European League (and that “elite” group includes three English sides) as they are aware they will get no more than a shrug and no long-term support - and that is where we are now.

Another major counter proposal is a Chinese proposal from the Dalian Wanda Group proposes to open up the lucrative Chinese and Far Eastern media markets by extending the league to include Chinese and South American clubs. This has yet to be discussed by the "elite" sides as a group although the proposals have been presented to a number of them already on an individual basis. The proposals are very broad-based and lack detail - their selling point is significant additional income for the "elite", European "guest" sides, Asian sides and South American sides. The general feeling from informal discussions over cocktails is that the "elite" would not want it on a league basis but could be open to including other sides in a some sort of expanded World Club championship. FIFA see this as something they could control, hence their involvement in the matter. THis is also something that was added to the agenda of the Autumn 2018 council meeting but there was no vote - and little discussion I am told.}

How many players can rangers take on loan? Personally been Welsh and a Liverpool fan I'd love to see Wilson woodburn and ward there. The three w's would shine in that league. ward already has with Aberdeen.

Why would he make decision whilst we are still in Europe? If he was fit he would start tonight. We have a chance even slim of winning it, why would he cut his own throat. if he says he's going klopp would lose the trust of his other midfielders if he got a game in the final wouldn't he.

You'd need to be seventy to have remembered him st his best and tv coverage was not like today. the question I suppose is given the poorer pitches equipment, training methods and diets, the heavy ball and rule changes like the passing back to the keeper, not to mention the tackling how would each do in the others era?

I like pogba as a player. To be honest, if milner, lalana, can are leaving, grucic not ready. Hendo, pogbba and Keira with the ox and wijneindum. With the academy players. That would do me:-)

Given grujic is been used in the deep role on loan at Cardiff do you think Klopp sees him in that role, or do you think he's missed the boat with us?

There picking up on Shay givens comments at the city game. It was about hand positions and how he was always coached to keep them mid body height so if the shot is high or low you have a chance of getting it. He noted both our keepers tend to go low. Why the get beat for pace at near post. That's where the coaching got questioned.
