Ojo has said today he's back running.

Jezza kyle

1.) 01 Nov 2016 03:08:40
Hope he's back to form soon, he strikes me as another potential Mane in the making. blessed with pace and dribbling ability, yet can also pass and score goals.

2.) 01 Nov 2016 10:14:23
Can't wait to see this lad, i'm not going to get excited about this news, not yet, ED1 said he may be back by the end of the season so I'm going to go on that, any earlier is a bonus! Would love to see him ready in January for when Mane is away but I can't see it, sounds a little too early.

13 Mar 2016 16:43:51
Nordtfelt has announced he's leaving BMG and moving to England. A month or so back he was spotted at melwood (mentioned on here) can an ed say if it's us or if not who it is please as he clearly has something arranged.

Jezza kyle

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool showed interest in Borussia Monchengladbach’s Nordtveit back in January 2012. It was suggested in Germany in 2012 that Arsenal might look to buy the player back at one time, that the interest of Sunderland would lead to an offer. However, he is out of contract at the end of the season and the only sides who have shown a real interest so far are Leicester, West Ham and Borussia Dortmund - but unlike non Bundesliga sides, Dortmund cannot approach him at this time. Having ended interest in another player, Arsenal has spoken with his agent over a return but have taken it no further just now. West Brom, Spurs, Schalke and Southampton have watched him but my understanding is that none have requested to speak to the player. Monchengladbach were keen on a new deal with him they accept they are likely defeated. Expect him to move to England and I supect West Ham will win out unless Spurs or Arsenal put something attractive on the table. I have explained on many previous occasions that any suggested interest from Liverpool right now seems to me to be wide of the mark - 2012 yes, but not now. He certainly won't have been hanging out at Melwood.}

1.) 13 Mar 2016 17:17:26
Thankyou 002 everything I wanted to know right there. As usual with my 2+2 I got 5.

24 May 2017 20:29:38
Ed25 I love you man but can we have smaller doses of the blatant micky taking? You're worse than most of our fans for slagging off whichever of our players is the topic of discussion. I know it's playful but it's every post man. It's fun for the first few hendo, can, lucas, lovren then clyne, migs and firmino. anymore you'll get the whole team plus the youngsters you've mentioned the nonsense of how the tide is turning etc etc. It's just not much fun anymore.

Jezza kyle

{Ed025's Note - i was not having a go at firmino jezza, just said that he was not that great this season, but if its not to your liking then i will tell you how brilliant they all are..

1.) 24 May 2017 20:56:30
Bit extreme Jezza. We can handle some banter, but I for one think ED025 is often spot on. Not arse licking, seriously have to agree with much of what he says.

2.) 24 May 2017 21:24:01
Mezzanine no cheese for you tonight 😁.

3.) 24 May 2017 21:24:20
I'd say your great fun on a night out jezza.

4.) 24 May 2017 21:24:53
Relax jezza, Everton are a nothing team. The EV are just jealous. According to ed025 all of our players are overrated and average yet we once again finished above them. The majority of Everton fans wanted to lose against Arsenal if it meant we would miss out on top 4, this is the mindset that you're dealing with, simply laughable.

5.) 24 May 2017 21:30:30
Yes, ED025 has a neutral view which will not be liked by most fans here because .

1. ED025 is Everton fan

2. Most fans have coloured glasses when judging players that they see them as world beaters / feel we should have won the league already

6.) 24 May 2017 23:25:43
Just a bit of fun but if he thinks our players are bad then evertons are dire. If when we have been at our worst over the last few years they have struggled for a win against us. They resort to thug football cos they know they have know chance of actually beating us fair and square.

7.) 25 May 2017 00:10:28
It's alright Jezza, Everton fans just aren't used to the concept of a striker making space so other people can score - it's one goalscorer a year in the blue half!

8.) 24 May 2017 20:48:15
I think it'd split you in two to do that! Just maybe try and give a nearly honest opinion 1 in 3 say? Atleast make it a game for us to wonder if you're just on a wind up or actually believe what you're saying.

{Ed025's Note - its only a bit of friendly banter you know jezza, dont take me or yourself too seriously mate, you have some good players but if your fishing for compliments you have the wrong guy mate.. :)

9.) 24 May 2017 20:51:01
Grow some thicker skin Jezza.

Ed25, keep the banter coming.

Btw, Barkley, Schneiderlin, Bolassie and Coleman are all tosh 😬.

{Ed025's Note - hey 87...they are our best players!, well except for ross who is a bit of a big girls blouse so would fit really well in your side mate.. :)

10.) 24 May 2017 21:12:50
Ed025 is an Evertonian and will have his tongue in cheeck moments. It is good to have his input around here.

What he does need to realise is that Liverpool will finish above Everton once again next season :-) LOL.

{Ed025's Note - it will be a close run thing max, a lot will depend on our new signings hitting the ground running mate, it could be the same for your lot as well seeing as you are signing all these top stars mate.. :)

11.) 24 May 2017 21:21:23
Ed25 isn't to far behind ed2 with getting a Facebook appreciation society. Keep up the good work ed. 🖒.

{Ed025's Note - i dont do social media max, im more of a net curtain twitcher mate..

12.) 24 May 2017 21:46:01
But isn't that football guys? We all look at our clubs with rose tinted glasses and if we don't then we shouldn't be supporters. The word is supporter after all so if you don't support your own team then you can't call yourself one.

{Ed025's Note - your dead right pip..

13.) 24 May 2017 21:55:50
Ed025 is a very good contributor to our pages. I don't always agree with her, but she makes some fair assessments.

{Ed025's Note - im actually all male MK and a babe magnet at that, if you seen me around woolton village in my tight fitting everton top you would see why.. :)

14.) 24 May 2017 22:02:47
Honestly some people are way too sensitive. Ed25 your alright for a blue nose, keep the banter coming.

{Ed025's Note - im fine with getting a bit of stick RTID, i have been an evertonian for 59 years so im used to it by now mate.. :)

15.) 24 May 2017 23:36:31
Ah here guys, seriously!

Can you blame the guy?

Obviously he's just jealous

{Ed025's Note - i am a little bit jealous savvy, i have always wanted to think my team is better than it actually is and have half of our supporters living in norway mate.. :)

16.) 25 May 2017 01:05:24
Why all the ignorance towards ed025. I think he's an honest breath of fresh air. I disagree with his opinions sometimes but that's the thing they're his opinions. They aren't wrong but neither are mine or anybody else's. They are like arse holes, everybody has 1 and everyone's is right- according to themselves. Maybe sometimes he has his blue tinted glasses on but most of the time we've our red tinted ones on. Maybe we just don't like what we hear about our players and maybe an opinion from a non supporter might be closer to the truth. I love hearing from him anyway and think along with ed001 and ed025 he's an excellent contributor.

{Ed025's Note - thanks for that mate..

17.) 25 May 2017 01:11:44
Guys chill - Ed25 is one of my favorites and it's called banter. He calls it how he sees it and is 90% of the time spot on, and it's fun to have a bit of banter with a blue with enough of a sense of humour to spend his time on this page.

{Ed025's Note - its a pleasure for me doing this page zimbo, you see im doing a degree at john moores university on delusional football fans and your supporters are helping no end mate.. :)

18.) 25 May 2017 08:41:46
Please keep going Ed025 and keep growing in stature here. I think your assessments are generally fair, and don't we need some humor and banter sometimes? Lighten up guys!

{Ed025's Note - some take things too serious noski, they need to have a night out with me in woolton village...and i will get them a bird.. :)

19.) 25 May 2017 09:54:35
Barkley wouldn't get in the side ahead of Wilson or Ojo mate.
Oh wait, you were talking about our first team XD.

{Ed025's Note - hes not a bad player you know dave maybe a change would do him good how about a swap for can and you give us £30m?..i know your tempted mate..

20.) 25 May 2017 12:08:17
He is dead sound and friendly. But saying Firmino has had a poor season is outrageous. We were top scorers in the league up until the last 3 weeks mainly due to his movement and intelligence. His finishing could do with some improvement but without him there would be no chance of top 4. Great signing.

{Ed025's Note - i have said i rated bobby gayfish, just that i thought he was not at his best because he should be more prolific in front of goal mate..

21.) 25 May 2017 17:26:55
I'd agree with everyone who appreciates Ed025 on these pages. He's always fair, despite being a blue nose, and says it like he sees it. And you can't ask for more. It's a bit paranoid and immature to go ahead and slate our own players and yet get the panties all twisted if an Ed does it. Time to grow a pair.

{Ed025's Note - i am very fair ra..with the odd grey streak mate.. :)

22.) 25 May 2017 08:35:56
I want MORE blantant mickey taking from the lengend that is ed025.
Of course there is such a thing as karma. What comes around goes around 😉.

{Ed025's Note - your right andy, we last won the league in 87 but guess what...its coming around soon mate.. :)

22 May 2017 16:39:18
wijnaldum. Lots of goals and assists from a central midfield position considering he doesn't take corners/ free kicks/ penalties. The man for the big occasion, city at home, Chelsea at home, most important goal of the season yesterday. It'd be great if he could get the monkey off his back of an away goal or two but still he's been a constant starter and consistent player all season long showing his value and there's more to come!

Jezza kyle

1.) 22 May 2017 17:18:32
He has had a pretty good first season. Very happy for him, here's hoping for an even better next season.

2.) 22 May 2017 17:44:06
I have to say, I've been pleasantly surprised with him! A very good addition to our midfield he is! He's a better player than I thought he was!

3.) 22 May 2017 18:38:48
Let's hope Hendo and Can can also add goals to their game.

4.) 22 May 2017 19:09:11
Artistic licence there with the editing but it's fair enough.

5.) 22 May 2017 19:41:05
Super Mane, Emre Can has added goals to his game? He got more goals last season than his previous 2 combined. He's not prolific but he's never going to be he's not that sort of player. Not all your midfield need to be goalscorers case in point Kante and Matic for the league winners or Dembele and Wanyama for Spurs. Emre has more goals than each of them by the way :)

{Ed025's Note - please dont mention emre can in the same sentence as kante or dembele puzzled..

6.) 22 May 2017 23:25:45
He has wowed me as well with his intelligence and positioning both offensively and defensively. A true find for our team and bravo to Klopp for seeing the best in him that many of us me included, did not see at the start.

19 May 2017 16:41:14
So we will get between £30m and £40m in prize money from the PL this season depending on whether we finish 5th 4th or 3rd.

Jezza kyle

1.) 19 May 2017 19:55:54
Not sure how I will spend my share. When is it being divied up?

{Ed025's Note - you could buy joey barton nick?..oh sorry..wrong divvy..

2.) 20 May 2017 11:39:43
Need a win against Boro, I've promised the missus a holiday. Is it based on number of posts this season or what?

03 May 2017 17:03:28
So the centenary stand is now the kenny dalglish stand. Personally I'd have preferred they sold the naming rights to the highest bidder but it's not a bad option if there's no takers. What about shanks and paisley?

Jezza kyle

1.) 03 May 2017 17:20:32
Not a bad option?!
The man has done so much, not just for our club, but the whole city of Liverpool.
He has inspired people the length of the country and further.
I would have the whole stadium named after him.
You want a few extra million as opposed to honouring a great man like Kenny Dalglish? Shame on you.

2.) 03 May 2017 17:28:21
I'll now sit in the lower Kenny Dalglish stand.

{Ed001's Note - I can't believe anyone would want the stand named anything but the Kenny Dalglish Stand! He is the greatest legend of the club, which says a lot when we have had Shanks, Paisley and Fagan, amongst many others. If anyone deserves this honour, it is him.}

3.) 03 May 2017 17:35:13
True ed and not just for football. What he done after Hillsborough went above and beyond.

{Ed001's Note - that is the most important thing of all. His actions then have been deserving of any honour, nothing we could do for him as a club or the city as a whole, could ever truly repay him.}

4.) 03 May 2017 18:11:55
Sir kenny?

5.) 03 May 2017 18:14:38
I can not understand how or why he has not been knighted. The man will always be a Sir to me.

6.) 03 May 2017 18:07:20
Im stunned by the original post.

7.) 03 May 2017 18:08:13
For the younger fans on this site do you want to explain why Kenny Daglish is King Ed?

{Ed001's Note - I can't believe I need to! This is a man who is the greatest player ever to pull on a Liverpool shirt, to becoming the manager who continued to win trophies, our last manager to win the league. There is his total devotion to the club, taking any role asked of him just to be involved.

Most of all though, his involvement in the aftermath of the Hillsborough disaster was above and beyond any possible call of duty he could have been asked to do. He ensured that he got to as many of the funerals as he could personally, possibly do, as well as organising the players and staff to make sure they were at as many as possible. Then there was his time he gave to the families, always being there just to listen when they needed someone to talk to. He did as much as anyone for the families.}

8.) 03 May 2017 18:54:50
Love king Kenny. Absolute legend and a giant of a man and human being. Total respect for him and every liverpool fan should feel honoured to have him associated with our club. Long live the king. YNWA.

9.) 03 May 2017 19:18:46
I honestly can't disagree with the original post enough. Embarrassing.

10.) 03 May 2017 19:23:27
The greatest player to don a red shirt. This is SO the right decision. Long live the King!

11.) 03 May 2017 19:29:38
Original post is a Jezza Kyle wind up post.
I'd rather Kenny wasn't knighted, I don't want him associating with some of those dirty, corrupt political cronies. He's above that.
The stand name is a fine gesture and 100% appropriate.

12.) 03 May 2017 19:52:43
I'm actually laughing at the original post. And i put it down to generational differences (I hope) . It's not the first time Ed001 and other posters have explained KD's significance and importance to the history and legacy of the club. But if people don't want to pay attention or don't give a damn, then what can you do? As I said - generational differences.

13.) 03 May 2017 20:32:05
Thank Jesus for Ron.

14.) 03 May 2017 21:11:48
I was at wembley v manutd in 77. First time the chant 'DALGLISH' went up from the terrace is someting ill neuer forget. Goosebumps then and now. Little did any of us know a legend was preaent. I was a kid . now much older . Thanks kk.

15.) 03 May 2017 21:55:06
Wasn't the reason he stood down as player manager due to the Hillsborough events finally getting on top of him and he needed a break? The man comes calling for our club without question, he let his name be dragged through the mud to protect players and was treated like dirt by others but still stood alongside them to show a united front cause he felt that was best for us. He shouldn't just have the key to the city, he should have the key, bed, and possibly wife of every Liverpool fan for what he has done. We were lucky to have him and even luckier to have him love our club as much as he does.

{Ed002's Note - No. It has been dealt with over and over and I explained that very day.}

16.) 03 May 2017 22:15:25
Spot on there Ron I 100% agree. The honours Kenny already has, the freedom of Liverpool, now the stand being named after him, his European cups, his league titles and his 102 Scotland caps those are the honours that matter to me . Those honours are what make Kenny a legend and hero to me . Have you seen some of the excuses for humans that have been Knighted Kenny is better than that in my eyes.

17.) 03 May 2017 22:35:28
I would call myself as a junior supporter of Liverpool, started following the club during the Rafa-Torres-Ngog years. I am not even English. And I only knew about the Hillsborough since the last few years. Questioning about naming the stand? That is so embarassing, even me know who Dalglish is and what he has done before this.

I despise some of the football fans, especially from where I come from. Not all but some. Supporting something, regardless it is a football club or anything, they chose what to support blindly based on the fame and the current success. I wouldn't argue that those usually what trigger someone to start to follow or support it, but once you did, spend some time to actually learn something from its history, traditions etc.

I knew some Chelsea supporters, who didn't even know who was the manager before Mourinho, who were the stars and legends before the likes of Drogba, Lampard, Cole or Crespo.

18.) 04 May 2017 08:27:32
Please, please, please people, supporters everywhere especially the younger ones, read some books about Liverpool, they're all available on Kindle.

To find out more about KK the man, I would recommend his autobiography - My Liverpool Home. To find out more about him as a player and manager from a contemporary, I would recommend Rush's autobio. I would also recommend Carra's, Fowlers and Gerrards (first one) to find out more about him as a legend, as they all grew up locally during the years when KK was in charge (both on and off the field) .

They're all available on Kindle, so no excuse!

Also, do as much reading as possible on t'internet about Hillsborough and especially try to catch the BBC documentary from the last couple of years about it, I'm sure you'll find it on YouTube or iPlayer. Make sure you have a box of tissues to hand as I was in tears through most of it.

19.) 04 May 2017 08:29:38
Ed002 I'm not sure if you thought I was on about his second stint in charge or not? As I meant tenure during the 1990's if I'm wrong still then my apologies.

{Ed002's Note - Ok.}

02 May 2017 08:07:11
Ed about the blatant and obvious Lucas dive: usually when a player dives like that they ask for a penalty and try and con the ref which Lucas didn't do usually when players go down but then realise straight away they shouldn't have and not ask for a pen and not roll around then the ref let's them off without a booking. Lucas was clearly trying to manufacture a penalty no doubt but when when there was no contact he didn't even ask for a pen so he wasn't trying to fool anyone. He was clearly trying to make the most of some potential contact and when that never came he was already committed to the dive but never did he ask for the pen or even protest his innocence other than to try and prevent being booked. He tried to make the most of what he thought would happen.

Jezza kyle

{Ed001's Note - still a dive though. It is the fact that he never asked for a pen that is the only reason I would not look for retrospective action against him. If he hadn't been booked, then I would still want the FA to look at it afterwards. Diving is a blight on the game and needs to be eradicated, or as close to eradicated as possible.}

1.) 02 May 2017 09:21:03
Agree with ed001 and had it been Pogba or Mata we'd be asking for them to be extradited. Deserved a yellow card.
As for diving and dissent, I've said for years there should be a 10 minute sin bin for first offender, 20 minutes for second offender, 30 minutes for third etc etc. It should roll over to the next game so if you dive in injury time, the next match you start with 10 players.

It would not take many matches for managers to eradicate diving and dissent. You can't risk losing players in real time.

2.) 02 May 2017 10:35:23
Fair enough usually I think the Lucas one would go unpunished even though it was a blatant dive that's my point really.

3.) 02 May 2017 12:04:55
Ronaldo on his the at utd would still be serving time in the sin bin.

4.) 02 May 2017 15:40:16
My solution is simple. If you dive, you get a retrospective 3 game ban, end of. Why? If you are an important player for your team, you will think twice before diving cos you know you may be about to hurt your team for 3 games and then, the managers will start actually start doing their jobs and stamping this out cos right now, they are even coaching diving as a training exercise during training sessions. Pathetic!

5.) 02 May 2017 17:35:13
I think he played for the foul and was going down no matter what but planning on enough contact to cover it, once the defender didn't make the contact required he was always going to look a fool but equally the fact he didn't appeal seems to suggest he knew he didn't get the contact to claim anything.

6.) 02 May 2017 21:15:13
Only thing is N red, it doesn't help the team that has been cheated and the size of squads these days can cope with a ban.
Sin bin hurts the team right there and then and also helps the victims of the cheating. Managers couldn't take the risk and so would stamp it out overnight.

Crawl out lads he's posted about 3 times in 2 years when we've made about 25 signings and sold 40 players. And when he does post it's usually wrong lately gotze, takeover etc etc.

He hasn't impressed me at all this season I'm picturing him being skinned by mirallas earlier in the season and yesterday he couldn't stop the goal. He reminds me a lot of Moreno actually acceptable going forward suspect defensively but he's a couple of years younger and English. Personally at the moment I'm glad we missed that boat.

When we beat all of those teams this season why didn't they beat us? It's because our TEAM scored more goal than their 1 striker. If we had lukaku for example how many of the goals that we scored this season wouldn't we have scored? How many would coutinho, mane, firmino score if they were playing to set up a lukaku? As long as we score about as many goals as the top 4 clubs then it doesn't matter who scores them and guess what? We did. How many times was lukaku marked out of the game and Everton lose or draw? Wouldn't they prefer 5 players who are equally as likely to score? So if he has an off day the team lose. Main point adding 24 goal striker isn't adding 24 goals to our team it's adding 5/ 10 plus changing how we play. We can't simply add a player because you only play with 11. So you have to take out 1 of our attackers out to make room.
