Just read we've had a £35m bid for Kingsley Coman rejected.

Jezza kyle

1.) 27 Jun 2021 17:01:39
Surely one of our front 3 is on the move if this is the case. A player like him would not join if it was to sit on the bench. I'd be OK with any of our team leaving as we are not reliant on one player as we were in the Stevie Me or Suarez days.

2.) 27 Jun 2021 17:03:36
Got to be fake, he is valued at more than that.

3.) 27 Jun 2021 17:36:25
Jesus christ. why are we the only top 6 team that is not allowed to have the slightest bit of squad depth? seriously lads.

4.) 27 Jun 2021 18:04:34
I’d be happy with Coman. I think we need a CF more, but you can never have ‘too many’ big game players like him.

5.) 27 Jun 2021 17:53:46
42 million it says the asking price is. Any thoughts eds? I've never really watched him but supposed to be decent. Thiago can have a word in his shell like.

{Ed001's Note - he always seems to be injured whenever I have looked at a team he is on. Last time I saw him fit to play was a long time ago and he was just quick but very one-dimensional then. Could well have improved a huge amount though since then.}

6.) 27 Jun 2021 18:53:49
Thanks Ed, appreciate the reply mate.

{Ed001's Note - very welcome Marty.}

7.) 30 Jun 2021 11:02:21
OP, someone is teasing you. None of that is true. Also I agree with ED01. Coman is too one-dimensonal. Has blinding pace BUT too predictable and inconsistent. Just my opinion.

I believe 15 more wins from our remaining 22 league fixtures would win us the title. I've come to this conclusion assuming Leicester have a 15 game run identical to their current record this season putting them on 70 points, I guessed a fair average for the remaining 8 games of their season if they achieved their identical record would be another 20 points, just over 2 points per game.

Thus leaving us needing 91 points for the title. We currently have 46 from 16 games meaning a further 15 wins puts us on a minimum of 91 points and more importantly leaving 7 fixtures in which a slip up or 4 wouldn't impact our chances at all only narrow the margin of victory. Of course we play Leicester still and the result of that game will play no significance as long as they lose and draw in 2 other of their next 15 fixtures (highly likely) .

In short this team, this squad, this manager have such a high probability of winning the title from this position we may as well start to plan our tattoos now. Let's imagine we lose at WHL, Goodison and the emptihad. That still leaves 4 games in which we can lose and still reach 91 points draw a couple and it's 93+. Basically I expect Leicester to drop off but I've planned for them not to.

I expect City to keep bumbling along as they are they do not look capable of winning 5 of the spin atm let alone the next 20 and every game that goes bye they need to add another win on the end of it to keep pace. From this point its a 2 horse race and one horse has a big advantage in every single department of a football club on and off the pitch. This is finally our year doubters to believers.

Jezza kyle

1.) 08 Dec 2019 08:48:30
Have you informed klopp of your findings? They might stay out in Qatar for a few more weeks when they realise they've already won the league.

2.) 08 Dec 2019 08:56:10
The title is not won until it is mathematically impossible to lose. There is no point getting ahead of ourselves. We need to take it one game at a time.

3.) 08 Dec 2019 10:12:53
These were the exact same posts that were on this site around Christmas last year and look what happened! One particular poster spent all of last season claiming the title was won and now he doesn’t post as frequently because he was so embarrassed! There is a big game to win Tuesday night so focus needs to be on that and forget about the league for now.

4.) 08 Dec 2019 10:16:38
Klopp would lose his sheep if he read something like this for sure! As Lamborini said one game at a time has got us to this position. And let's keep that mentality.

5.) 08 Dec 2019 11:49:04
I think you need to get out a bit more Jezza.

6.) 08 Dec 2019 13:20:17
It’s not just the EPL we are after.

We need to retain our title of Champions of Europe.

One game at a time.

Maintain the intensity and let’s see where it takes us.

7.) 08 Dec 2019 17:06:39
Let's hope you're right Jezza mate. Let's win the next 15 games, wrap up the title in March, then concentrate on the CL and the FA cup!

8.) 08 Dec 2019 17:37:21
1st mystic meg post I’ve seen in a long time absolutely can’t stand these post I thought fans learnt a lesson coundting up points and wins before a ball is kicked!

9.) 08 Dec 2019 22:45:09
The Wombats exactly right the poster in question is never right and shot his mouth off on a daily basis. We should all take nothing for granted and take each game as they come.

But it is great to be supporting such a quality side led by a great manager.

10.) 08 Dec 2019 22:50:01
Let’s not discount Man City just yet. They are more than capable of winning every last game of this season.

Far too early to start believing, yes it’s ours to lose and we are strong favourites but let’s see how the squad gets through the next few months first, we will need to rotate, first signs of this rotation has been positive but a couple of loses and panic could set in so I’m not getting that tattoo just yet.

Leicester will also have to utilise their squad in the coming months and they are currently very reliant on a couple of players so we will see how they get on with that.

Man City like I said above are more than capable of pulling it together and winning every last game so no way can they be ruled out yet.

Chelsea have a very outside chance but I can’t see them leapfrogging all 3 teams.

If I was a betting man I would bet on us to win the league but I wouldn’t put the house on it.

11.) 09 Dec 2019 09:14:26
Spot on Mark, although it’s strange not seeing ‘have a nice day ‘ under the review of the day article lol.

12.) 09 Dec 2019 10:03:03
My response to Jezza Kyle and others is:
RB Salzburg tomorrow!
That should be our one and only focus at the moment, not 91 points and record breaking season. You have no idea what would happen to this squad and team morale if that game in Salzburg don't go well. So, I'd stay away from any permutations and let's qualify for the next round of the Champions league first.

13.) 09 Dec 2019 10:34:17
I agree Noski. I'm a little worried about tomorrow to be honest.

14.) 09 Dec 2019 13:24:14
nothing at all comes easy in the best league in the world. never ever ever ever take anything for granted. the last time we put man city in a position where they had to win out, they did. 99 points was a historically great total last year, and all it got us was to be used a question in the next edition of Trivial Pursuit!

15.) 10 Dec 2019 13:24:38
My main reason for posting this was so that our notorious negative fans don't all lose their heads if we lose 3 or 4 games and in doing so disable the team on the pitch. I'm not counting points im making a prediction with the idea of preventing all the we've bottled it posts the day we lose or draw. If we lose 6 in a row starting Saturday I believe we will still win the title so keep your heads stay calm this team can do it and our reaction to bumps in the road can influence the result.

16.) 11 Dec 2019 14:47:06
Stats and averages are great at this time of the year, if we could keep up our current run we could end up with 109 points and City would end up with 76.
Now, is there ONE person on this site who thinks this might happen? If there is STOP taking the yellow pills and START taking the blue ones like you were told to.

Fun note: if it was true Utd would end up in 5th with 57 points, 52 points behind! Actually that could happen. :)

07 Aug 2018 19:14:36
No joe Gomez in the squad tonight. Injured? Looks like we might end up playing Phillips v West Ham.

Jezza kyle

1.) 07 Aug 2018 21:09:15
I think Fabinho is more likely to play if desperate, Gomez may just be rested for precaution.

2.) 07 Aug 2018 21:33:42
U are kidding me Gomez injured that's crap I hope not won't lovren be ready or last resort klavan, it's mad we haven't learned from last season this current squad is vulnerable too injuries I am talking bout the original players from last season matip, Gomez, lovren, matip, lallana, clyne, sturridge, even Henderson at times with his heel problem, there's 7 players who are in danger of any time picking up injuries that will hurt us, I still think we are short of another defender and flexible attacker for front 3 don't get me wrong been a great market for us but can't help feeling we will regret not going all out .

3.) 07 Aug 2018 22:47:16
How many more you want to buy?

4.) 07 Aug 2018 23:15:51
2 a defender and an attacker, when we finished last season we needed a def mid, a no 10, a keeper, a midfielder, cover for front 3 and a central defender all ours made of glass.

5.) 08 Aug 2018 01:52:29
You do realise there’s a 25 member squad limit?

6.) 08 Aug 2018 06:44:01
HAHA. you just about named our whole squad . and matip twice lol.

7.) 08 Aug 2018 10:09:43
If we buy to many players for the ‘what if’ scenarios then what’s the point in having the youngsters? They need to see a way into the first team.
We need to sell now, not buy.

8.) 08 Aug 2018 10:40:35
Klopp has said Gomez is fine, relax.

01 Jul 2018 15:10:08
Ed002 anything new on Laxalt? I saw him play for the first time yesterday and was very impressed! I remember you saying a while ago he might be an option.

Jezza kyle

{Ed002's Note - Lazio has a declared interest.}

1.) 01 Jul 2018 19:56:04
He has a silly enough haircut for LFC. Must be nailed on.

15 Feb 2018 14:47:06
I have an in with James Maddison and it looks like he's going to Arsenal. He's been linked with a £30m bid from us in the papers.

Jezza kyle

1.) 15 Feb 2018 15:12:21
who? But seriously 30 million, the can have him.

2.) 15 Feb 2018 15:54:57
Cheers for the rumour. Arsenal can bed him in and we’ll sign him in 5 years 🤝.

3.) 15 Feb 2018 15:55:00
We aren’t actually interested just the papers saying so and coming up with the figures. The player thinks he’s going to Arsenal.

4.) 15 Feb 2018 16:17:25
Why does it not surprise me that Jeremy Kyle has strong contacts in Norwich?

"Is my mum actually my Sister"

5.) 15 Feb 2018 16:25:29
Is it not Trisha with contacts in Norwich?

6.) 15 Feb 2018 19:18:00
Maddison is probably the best player in the championship not sure if he's worth 30 million but who knows in today's crazy transfer market. And MK I'm from Norwich and just because I'm married to my sister what's the problem.

7.) 15 Feb 2018 20:10:59
How's ya bruncle ace.

8.) 15 Feb 2018 21:26:01
All good p1.

9.) 16 Feb 2018 10:20:02
High 6 to that one.

10.) 16 Feb 2018 18:57:21
Brandt new, spilt beer on that one. 😅.

Jezza kyle's banter posts with other poster's replies to Jezza kyle's banter posts

18 Aug 2023 22:39:18
Liverpool signed Endo because the company building the stand has filed for administration? meaning work on site will stop and we will have to pay another contractor to finish it. And to think this guy is going to cost up to £20m? We sold Mane last year at the same age for only £30m! No top club would sign this guy. It’s our ambition that makes players sign for other clubs.

Jezza kyle

1.) 18 Aug 2023 22:56:52
I assume Liverpool FC have a performance bond built into the contract for the new stand and that will at least partially offset the cost of getting another builder.

Stop talking crap, please.

2.) 18 Aug 2023 23:09:05
Nonsense.

3.) 18 Aug 2023 23:11:02
Even if that’s true which I highly doubt. The Anfield stand is very close to being finished so it wouldn’t cost the earth to finish it.

4.) 18 Aug 2023 23:13:39
Well that’s 2 things you know fook all about Jezza lad football and building trade.

5.) 18 Aug 2023 23:36:19k
A hahahaha!

Thank you, I needed that.

Don’t forget your tinfoil hat.

6.) 19 Aug 2023 00:09:10
You do realise that the club have not paid the contractor in full? On top of this, would hold a percentage back as retention for 12 months also…? There will already be another contractor lined up to complete the work once the administrator has been in. It could in fact save the club money as they potentially have penalty clauses on Buckingham which could be of set with money owed
Why spout made up bollocks when you clearly have no concept of what you’re talking about.

7.) 19 Aug 2023 01:03:51
Jezza could have a point. Endo did turn up in his work boots. He could be bringing his tools as well to finish the stand and that's why we could eventually pay so much for him.
If it's true, it's only right we name it the Anfield Road Endo when it's completed.

8.) 19 Aug 2023 06:46:00
Nice one Rigsby. I get the feeling a lot of us are going to be surprised with what Endo can do. Not only is he a very useful footballer but there was a little voice in my head telling me that he is a first rate structural engineer and bickie. The lad is destined to be a legend.

9.) 19 Aug 2023 07:38:21
Jeremy Kyle at it again.

10.) 19 Aug 2023 08:37:34
WWW, Digestive or HobNob?

11.) 19 Aug 2023 08:38:29
Its 8.30am, sun is shining on south coast, just plunged the coffee, now to sit back and read the doom and gloom again.

12.) 19 Aug 2023 09:17:00
What that football is the OP on about? Good grief.

13.) 19 Aug 2023 12:52:46
I read the OP over several times trying to decipher the joke. Then I realised there wasn’t one.

14.) 19 Aug 2023 13:12:51
It’s funny because literally all of my post is true apart from the first 4 words and some opinions in the last sentence or two. They have filed for administration, work on site has stopped and someone else will have to be brought in to complete there build and they won’t do it for free…

penalty clauses are likely the reason they’re going into administration in the first place they’re certainly not likely to be paying any once they’ve gone bankrupt! As for the opinions I gave: no top clubs would sign him (nobody else ever has) and I also fully believe it’s our lack of ambition which is plain to see that makes players pick other clubs.

Hey jurgen what’s the project? Erm well we might be able to sign 1 or 2 more players this summer but you won’t of heard of them and then we’re done our big summer overhaul let’s watch it play out adding one or two players for the next 3 years because of ffp fingers crossed miracles happen again!

Hey poch what’s the project? Well we’re buying up all the best young players on the planet buying 16 year olds for 25m and we’re going to throw them all at the wall till we find some that stick and the rest we will sell to buy 10 players each summer until we get the combination right and start winning again like we did before and like city have done and like Newcastle will eventually do.

Sounds exciting I’d love to be part of that! Klopp looked so depressed in his press conference yesterday it was like the middle of last season all over again.

05 Feb 2023 19:33:48
I tell you now pep would not be picking that team if he was up against Liverpool for the title.

Jezza kyle

1.) 05 Feb 2023 22:04:07
OP, Pep does not respect Arsenal IMO. The team he picked showed it. The ONLY club he respects is Liverpool and the ONLY manager he respects is Klopp cos Klopp has made him bleed in his head to head and Liverpool have taken trophies off of City. He can afford to slack off vs Arsenal cos they’re not built like we now, used to be. Had Liverpool been in Arsenal’s position, he’ll bricking it.

31 Dec 2022 20:22:36
Everton haven't took a point off City since 2017 in that time we've lost out on the title by 1 point 2x. The one year we aren't fighting City and they go and take 2 points of them! I'd much rather City win the league than Arsenal personally.

Jezza kyle

{Ed014's Note - in that case I hope you get relegated! ??

1.) 31 Dec 2022 20:31:06
Ed14. Hope to god use win it (Obviously if liverpoolcant! ), would be good for football if use did and your owners deserve massive credit for backing arteta even after couple of years of poor finishes.

{Ed014's Note - thanks mate and for the first time the owners have impressed me mate and I’m thankful they’ve back him.

2.) 31 Dec 2022 21:04:47
Not me Jezza. The league is better when Liverpool, Man U and Arsenal are all good and competitive. I hate to say that about Man U but it is a fact.

3.) 31 Dec 2022 21:09:07
We are fighting them jezza mate. As for the Arsenal shout I’m with you. the gunners was my London team but can't stand arteta.

{Ed014's Note - oh don’t be so mean John ??

4.) 31 Dec 2022 21:35:17
Stone. U have some great posts but man utd good and competitive ?. No prob with arsenal, spurs etc but not man utd ?!

5.) 31 Dec 2022 21:43:19
Soz ed14 just arteta mate,

{Ed014's Note - hey no probs mate, he didn’t do himself any favours with his touch line antics at Anfield either.

6.) 31 Dec 2022 21:53:46
I’ve never liked him and I like him even less after that prime documentary which shows how inept he is doodle merchant who once sat next to pep, absolute cry baby pipsqueak brickhouse. I’m not a fan but I do in general like Arsenal I just think them winning it would diminish what we did because they’re nothing special and as I’ve pointed out they’ve got a manager I don’t rate. Plus if Arsenal bottle it we won’t be the only team to bottle being too at Christmas anymore which makes it win win win. Arsenal coming back and Newcastle coming up make our job harder.

7.) 31 Dec 2022 22:08:51
I do have a soft spot for Arsenal. Their fans have been great and I remember them supporting us for the title during the 13/ 14 season. So if it's not us, I definitely do not have a problem with them winning the league. Better them than the rest :)

8.) 31 Dec 2022 22:56:12
**** me it doesn't diminish what we did, we had the best record to start a season that europes top leagues will ever see. Even psg who play with the biggest advantage ever and they don't win 26 draw 1. We also won the champions league in the season preceeding. Chalk and cheese.

9.) 31 Dec 2022 23:15:09
I’ve thought Arsenal were going to ‘bottle it’ up until now. That was a very impressive win away from home against Brighton this evening. They have their weaknesses, but so does every team. If it’s them or City, I’d go for them. ??‍♂️.

10.) 01 Jan 2023 01:22:15
Arsenal won’t win the league. January is a tough month it’s beaten more than one potential title winner over the years.
They’ll be 2nd or 3rd and struggling by February. You heard it here first.

11.) 01 Jan 2023 08:24:21
Hope Arsenal win it, they’ve got an exciting young team and clearly are on a roll.

12.) 01 Jan 2023 13:02:17
I like Arsenal but Arteta is horrid but he is doing a great job, so torn as to wether I want City to catch them up. Arsenal have had some players performing incredibly and if they can keep it up who can say they don’t deserve to win the league. On another note Man Utd scraped through and got another undeserved win in a simply terrible game against wolves. Really need them to start losing again they are getting confidence and might even start playing some good football stranger things have happened. Here’s to hoping we win tomorrow and keep moving up the table week by week can’t wait to see Gakpo play hopefully he can hit the onion bag regularly for us.

26 Dec 2022 17:00:01
I'd rather sign guimares than enzo 1000%.

Jezza kyle

1.) 26 Dec 2022 19:37:41
I'd rather give young Bajcetic the chance to understudy Fabinho properly than spend money on a DM. How else does he learn if he doesn't get the chances? By the way what about his composure and touch to go around Olsen for his goal?

2.) 26 Dec 2022 20:05:44
Is John Mcginn of villa not wort a punt?

3.) 26 Dec 2022 20:15:11
Apples to oranges OMM. He was playing 8 tonight.

4.) 26 Dec 2022 20:21:56
I haven’t seen much of Bajcetic, but what I have seen he looks promising. At the moment he is getting minutes filling in where he’s needed but I understand his best position is as a DM and I agree with OMM that he is one of the ones (like Elliot, Carvalho and Doak perhaps) who could literally save the club hundreds of millions.

5.) 26 Dec 2022 20:49:08
The young lad Bajcetic was a CB also back in the day ⚽️✌.

6.) 26 Dec 2022 20:51:51
Bajcetic can’t play in the PL as a number 6, not yet anyway. Good technical player but lightweight and not particularly good defensively. Thiago was terrible again.

7.) 26 Dec 2022 21:22:01
Oh btw we’re signing Gakpo £37m.

8.) 26 Dec 2022 21:25:43
I think we’ve bid for Gapko.

9.) 26 Dec 2022 21:46:25
Said a couple months ago that Bajetic is ready to be a rotation player now. He fully is. Has poise, excellent technique. Yes, lightweight but not much we can do about it. He will have to grow into his body but he belongs on the pitch.

10.) 26 Dec 2022 21:46:32
The best compliment you can give Bajcetic, is he makes an impact when he gets the chance.
And that is not easy in the position he plays, not easy at all. I think he’s doing brilliant.

11.) 26 Dec 2022 22:49:40
Not disagreeing with what anyone has said above. One final point I'll make is Klopp threw him on when Villa had us under serious pressure so he clearly has faith in him.

09 Oct 2022 13:45:13
I think our players have been trained too hard. Klopp always moaning about fixture congestion and no breaks even at the end of the season so we have a team that look spent after 5 games this season which might only get worse as the season goes on and we have the likes of Arthur who was being praised for missing his holiday and doing extra training during the international break and guess what now he's got a muscle injury! We know we have these problems why not wrap them in cotton wool? All our injury prone players especially the ones who get a thousand muscle injuries should be barely training and using all the holiday they get for recovery not doing extra sessions! We played every game last season and Man City players had way more holiday preseason when our players should've been given atleast the same if not more.

Jezza kyle

1.) 09 Oct 2022 14:14:05
Time to just tell these players to grow a pair and start winning football matches. We’re in the bottom half of the table, stop giving them excuses about training.

2.) 09 Oct 2022 15:19:12
How do you get players fit Jezza if you wrap them in cotton wool? I think that in sticky situations like the team are having, we posters look for reasons to explain why? Arthur for instance doesn't have the best injury record, is it not easier to suggest he's injury prone and not the training? I mean why isn't Salah, Trent, Mane (when he was here), Vvd etc suffer from these training injuries?

3.) 09 Oct 2022 16:13:50
I'm sure they weren't training as much when the matches come thick and fast, literally play game take day off, and play another game.

4.) 09 Oct 2022 18:21:02
To be honest this game was firmly in our hands until diaz was crunched. Should have been a sending off. Trent was crunched. Penalty not given and then Jesus felt a breeze in the box and got a penalty. First half we were decent. Second half not so much. But by lord has the refereeing been p. poor.

{Ed025's Note - stop the whining Jerry. Diaz was lucky to still be on the pitch when he was fouled mate. It’s been a good game mate..

5.) 09 Oct 2022 18:33:43
Why was Diaz lucky to be on the pitch and how is that relevant to a potential red card against him?

6.) 09 Oct 2022 18:33:49
I usually think you’re alright for banter but you’re chatting garbage here fella. Diaz was lucky he wasn’t stretched off. Maybe if he went down more often like Jesus he’d get more calls? A good game as in entertainment I’d agree, quality wasn’t top drawer.

7.) 09 Oct 2022 18:36:51
The lack of consistency in refereeing is my biggest grip, last week spurs had a fella sent off for less than what happened to Diaz.

8.) 09 Oct 2022 20:40:22
Complaining about the ref when we were so poor us weak. This isn’t getting better any time soon.

There is no rush to sell Salah they will still offer crazy money in January and next summer if we hold out. Mo is a good guy a sensible guy. Tell him “if you want to go okay but it’s going to be January deadline day or next summer deadline day” tell him fixed price £200m will be accepted on either of those two dates. That gives us 5 months to find players to replace him in January these would be players with fixed price clauses and players who have already confirmed they are up for the move if the clause is triggered. We hold all the cards unless Salah goes on strike which he’s so far showed no signs of. Their money will not go away their desire will not fade, the sale of Salah is now inevitable if he wants to go there but we can control when he goes there unless he strikes.

I wouldn’t pick Trent to pick my nose at the minute. That fake “I’m trying and nobody else is” press he did on Ederson was embarrassing and of course 5 minutes later he’s walking and watching while grealish as putting the ball in the net. We were pretty good first half I wouldn’t complain but you could see the lads gave up the second City took the lead after the calamitous defending for the 2nd goal and it was all about getting rested for the next one.

Agree with mk here bajcetic was really impressive against RBL seems to have the stature if not the bull but his quality isn’t far off and he definitely sniffs danger.

West derby that is a wonderful wonderful post. The problem with Barella is that he’s not the messiah.

Ever since one of the officials elbowed Andy robbo towards the end of last season they’ve been dreadful for us.

Rashford? If ever there was a highlights reel player it’s him! He played well for about 3 months of last season and before that was woeful for 3 years and has since gone back to that level. He’s so frustrating physically so impressive and powerful with his running and he has the technique too but there’s rarely end product and he struts about the pitch doing nothing defensively or in a pressing kind of way. Klopp would like his politics and nothing more he’s a waste of huge natural resources which should make him the player he occasionally promises to be. He should be everything Sadio Mane made himself but the work ethic isn’t there.

Who did we sell first? Suarez to Barcelona or Coutinho to Barca? How did spending that Coutinho money go? Or does that not suit your argument? So the club did learn from the Suarez sale and did miles better with the Coutinho money. I’m not advocating selling Salah I’m just saying that if we were to do so we should be getting crazy money for him and not mere market value. I’m sure you’d agree.

The Saudis have daft money £150m is a fair price we could get from City, Bayern, PSG, Chelsea, Madrid. But to Saudi who want their hero? The most easily marketable player for them? Their only star still at the peak of his ability? With 2 years on his contract? To sell him this money the price is daft money it’s £250m or come back next year and we will sell for £150m. Oh and it needs to be done money in our account by Wednesday or no deal till next summer. That gives us time to pay a big exit clause for someone because you do not negotiate with people when they know you have daft money in your pocket, you pay the price asked or you move on to another player, same for the Saudis you want Salah? We will name our price and it’ll be something daft not something reasonable like £150m that’s just market value and he’s not on the market.

£55m and I’d drive him there and it’s miles out of my way in both directions. Realistically he’s a sub and he’s about 3rd choice when everyone is fit and we have a midfield Gakpo jota then Nunez as striker and left wing is probably Diaz Gakpo Jota Nunez too an expensive sun who can leave if a good offer is made. All this second season stuff is nonsense he won’t get any meaningful games without major injuries which means he won’t accumulate goals which means he won’t get confidence or consistency which means he will flop. It’s a vicious circle klopp feeds every time he doesn’t pick him but he’s not good enough to get picked. I actually think he’d already have hit the heights if klopp would’ve started him last season in the first game after the community shield where he scored the winner I think he could’ve just snowballed from there on the confidence but nope next game he’s a sub and then he gets himself sent off v palace and the trajectory is down.
