Any truth in firmino to psg ed2?

p1

{Ed002's Note - I dealt with this yesterday but the suggestion was Tuchel is the one interested and the club are talking with other coaches and are looking at other forwards - and I am not aware of any approach for Firmino.}

1.) 16 May 2019 13:14:34
Ok thanks ed.

2.) 16 May 2019 14:33:04
Only when we beat them in the last 16 next year.

3.) 16 May 2019 18:04:20
Aside from money, I can't see why anyone would join PSG these days.

4.) 17 May 2019 08:00:42
Fully agree hsf. Average league, at best. I wonder if he too is mates with Neymar, that went well for Phil after all. I do seem to recall ed1 saying Jesus was in the Brazil team ahead of bobby cause Neymar and him are best mates and he wanted him to start.

Any truth to the karius return and origi swap.

p1

1.) 10 Nov 2018 17:40:16
no, confirmed by Karius and his agent long ago.

2.) 11 Nov 2018 16:27:31
Martolfc is right, though Origi might still well make the move to Besiktas as they're in the market for a striker.

Am i missing something goretzka can't sign a pre contract with any german teams can he.

p1

{Ed002's Note - Not without the agreement of Schalke04.}

This video about being an Everton fan is for ed25 🤣

p1

{Ed033's Note - Very funny.

20 Sep 2020 22:37:11
Ed2 I'd ask on the chelsea page but im aware you don't post on there. What does Frank have to achieve to keep himself in a job? After splashing the cash i assjme top 4 minimum.

p1

{Ed002's Note - There are expectations but no specifics. Losing a game to a very good side without four or five starters and having a player sent off is hardly a big deal.}

1.) 20 Sep 2020 22:49:48
And a milkman In net Ed.

2.) 20 Sep 2020 23:20:40
As an endorsement goes, Ed saying we’re a very good side is as good as it gets.

3.) 20 Sep 2020 23:20:47
Lampard looked to remain compact, keep their shape and hit on the break with Werner.

We had Gomez injured and never at one point had our 3 best midfielders all in the middle of the park together.

If we had Adrian, Tsimikas and Jota playing instead of Ali, Robbo an Mane of course it would effect us but we wouldn't sacrifice all our principles.

Chelsea just got beat by a better team, I'm sure they'll get better as the season goes on but so will we.

4.) 21 Sep 2020 01:10:46
I'd also argue that today our starting 11 wasn't our strongest 11 that we could have had with the same squad from last year. Gomez in and fabinho back to midfield would have been our best from the same players we had last season. Lampard had probably his strongest starting line-up than at any stage last season. Pulisic and rudiger probably start but despite adding 2 attackers to his team for 120mil they didn't look any stronger than last year when our team had no new additions. Even before the sending off Chelsea never looked like they are in any way improved.

5.) 21 Sep 2020 05:03:41
Loved the comment by someone on live chat that Chelsea should have put Havertz on the pitch if they wanted to win.

Hi this ones for ed 2, if the tv channels are airing more games due to cv. Why are clubs paying back monies for more exposure?

p1

{Ed002's Note - Because of the costs incurred by the broadcasters is higher than it was when the deal was agreed.}

1.) 19 Sep 2020 10:58:09
Hi Ed, in the current climate why couldn’t the broadcasters and the football club channels come to some sort of agreement and either do a season ticket or pay per view of all the games so they could all recoup some money? Or doesn’t it work like that?

{Ed002's Note - Because they pay a huge amount to the Premier League to show games and that money is passed on to the clubs. If they incur additional costs they expect to have them covered - and that is what happened last season.}

Ed2 just saw an article about a new train service to the ground. Would this be enough to see the expansion of the ground?

p1

{Ed002's Note - Expanding the ground costs enormous sums of money that take years and years to recover. I don't know about the train service, but Liverpool cannot expand beyond 60k without paying to improve the infrastructure.}

1.) 16 Mar 2019 13:50:39
I live right next to Old Trafford, I mean I could almost throw something at it from here and if there's one thing I'm envious of it's the surrounding infrastructure. A dedicated train station, 3, soon to be 4 nearby tram stops and as much parking as I've seen for a stadium in the surrounding area.

Now some of this is down to the City, there's much more going on around and beyond Old Trafford than at Anfield so it's in the City's best interests to improve the infrastructure but even just a single train station would improve things massively in my opinion for Anfield.

2.) 16 Mar 2019 13:52:53
We have to have a long term plan to get the stadium to the levels of Utd, City, Spurs and Arsenal in order to generate revenue to keep competing.

Appreciate that's a lot of investment but we can't sit still.

{Ed002's Note - There is no plan to do any such thing and the revenue from it is small.}

3.) 16 Mar 2019 14:08:42
How do you manage to live there IronDan? I only work in Manc city centre and even that's too close to the 'Theatre Of Dreams' for my liking.

4.) 16 Mar 2019 14:50:07
Johnnyr1970, I think IronDan is happy enough there as he can throw things at it. Lol.

5.) 16 Mar 2019 18:23:31
I think IronDan meant to say he lives within spitting distance of OT 😀.

6.) 16 Mar 2019 20:50:34
I went to Anfield today for a mooch round the tour with the kids whilst it was raining. I had a look at Anfield Rd and the area behind it, could easily fit another massive Stand there like the main one. I agree though, no train stations, minimal parking and absolutely nothing there other than the stadium. It's miles behind. But then on the flip side, it's a scary place for other teams, there's no TGI's and all that friendly vibes. probably why we have a better home record than the other lot.

7.) 17 Mar 2019 13:53:18
Spot on lfcb. It is an intimidating stadium for travelling fans and when playing the big pampered sides I think it shakes them up.

No way do I want to share a stadium with Everton. If a new stadium is built give it to them. Anfield has too many memories, both happy and devastatingly sad. YNWA 96.

13 Jan 2019 15:43:21
Ed1 if your about who and where would you target for further improvements in the future.

p1

{Ed001's Note - someone like Heinrichs, Hakimi or Hysaj for right back as I very much doubt Wan-Bissaka is attainable. And someone more experienced such as Fuchs to back up at left back. Other than that it really depends on the outs.}

1.) 13 Jan 2019 16:51:38
Makes me wonder why we never persued Pereira. Covered both positions and surely would of got a decent amont of game time.

2.) 13 Jan 2019 18:47:13
Why would Wan-Bissaka be unattainable Ed? City have Walker, Chelsea have Azpilicueta, Spurs have Trippier. United a probable vacancy admittedly but they do have Dalot who is of similar age. Arsenal have Bellerin, also a potential vacancy, but i could not see him moving there. Is it just a case of cost and whatever price Palace would ask for him?

{Ed001's Note - I am not sure what the rest of the teams have to do with anything, other than maybe to show Spurs and City should defo be in the market for a right back too. It is the cost and the fact that the lad does not want to move right now. He supports Palace and is happy there for now.}

3.) 13 Jan 2019 23:21:44
Spot on, P1. Ricardo Perreira is who I wanted at RB and we were very keen on him at the time and I was gutted we did not get him at the time. As for RB's that we could get, I love Hysaj BUT it would only happen if the "special" Napoli owner let's him leave.

Personally I'd say if the youth players were actually good enough to displace the starting 11 and were leaving we would have a problem.

Out of interest what did you see that I missed? I see him as a passenger at the moment, I would prefer blooding and trying the youth as I'm not seeing what he offers thus far .

Midfield been poor for two seasons now they've been ageing and getting worse the only shining light wa thiago finding his feet, the papered over the cracks. The midfield needs a revamp it did last year its still in decline.

Allison kicks medium range passes out of touch nearly all the time. Our best keeper for a long time no doubt but is his distribution better than reinas? I'm not sure.

The midfield offered no protection nor no attacking purpose, the middield is poor the options are poor needs an overhaul.
