Any truth to the karius return and origi swap.

p1

1.) 10 Nov 2018 17:40:16
no, confirmed by Karius and his agent long ago.

2.) 11 Nov 2018 16:27:31
Martolfc is right, though Origi might still well make the move to Besiktas as they're in the market for a striker.

{Ed002's Note - Not without the agreement of Schalke04.}

Ed2 if your around not trying to cause an argument or have a dig at chelsea. But i was wondering if they will be reprimanded for their fans behaviour of late and if so what sort punishment would be likely.

p1

{Ed002's Note - This is the Liverpool page but there are already efforts by Chelsea to identify those responsible for the completely unacceptable behavior on Thursday night. They club will give life time bans to any people identified as responsible and will support any action UEFA deems necessary if they are charged. It is important to remember that Chelsea is under Jewish ownership and on occasions where fans or players have tried to involve religion very decisive and swift action has been taken by the club.}

1.) 16 Dec 2018 15:04:57
I saw the club had acted re the fans banned i meant what kind of punishment would uefa deem necessary and perhaps the fa. Thanks for your response though.

{Ed002's Note - What happened on Thursday is nothing to do with the FA. UEFA have the power to charge Chelsea and deal with the matter quickly and that would result in the closure of part of the stadium for the next home fixture if found guilty.}

2.) 16 Dec 2018 15:18:58
Sorry i was including the abuse sterling encountered should of made it clearer. Are the fa not getting involved re that.

{Ed002's Note - That is a matter for the police, and as far as I know they have not made any arrests to date.}

3.) 16 Dec 2018 15:28:01
Ok thanks ed.

{Ed002's Note - No problem.}

31 Dec 2017 11:29:13
I have a question for ed2 if he will. If Nike have leaked the transfer or are further unsettling the player on barcas behalf. Will they or have they broken any laws and could they be punished.

p1

{Ed002's Note - In terms of the laws of the game they would not have made any direct approach for the player so strictly speaking no. In terms of professionalism, if they did actually deliberately put out a press release, it is entirely unacceptable. If anything did actually happen it would not have been deliberate on behalf on Nike.}

1.) 31 Dec 2017 11:45:47
With the actual link being dead, and it happening Apri midnight/ the early hours, I believe they were just getting it prepared/ tested and wasn't expecting anyone to see it. However news travels fast, gossip travels at the speed of light.

2.) 31 Dec 2017 12:12:28
I can’t believe there was an accident at all. It went out, it was removed but the message is clear. It certainly looked like Coutinho may hav3 been holding his back when he was substituted.

{Ed002's Note - Some sort of conspiracy against Liverpool maybe? Laughable, you really are the most naive fans in the world.}

3.) 31 Dec 2017 12:25:38
It was on the official Barcelona website, buy Barcelona had no knowledge? Pull the other one.

{Ed002's Note - What do you think was on the Barcelona web site?}

4.) 31 Dec 2017 12:43:43
Benny, you can test without going live on sites, they have test sites for that. Plus it was just a little wording, I doubt they would need to do a full on site test. Not saying it's right or wrong, just i heavily doubt it was a test gone wrong.

5.) 31 Dec 2017 12:43:25
What’s Coutinhos new number out of interest?

{Ed025's Note - iscariat 40..

6.) 31 Dec 2017 14:47:28
Will New balance or dunkin donuts be announcing our transfers from now on Then?

7.) 31 Dec 2017 15:53:56
Not a conspiracy at all ed2 and as a pool supporter in certainly not going to criticise another club's behaviour in getting players. I was just disagreeing with benny about it being a test. I can't see a mistake like that happening. I was however suggesting that cout might take the opportunity to act up as he did. Personally, it's just another move in an embarrassing saga. Let the player leave as it is likely causing quite a fair bit of disharmony in the dressing room.

{Ed002's Note - What other club is this?}

8.) 31 Dec 2017 16:10:41
Oh no. I shouldn't have said anything. I'm about to get owned by ed2. I meant whatever happened with coutinho and shirt numbers and websites and whatnot was unlikely to be a test or an error. But I'm not going to criticise Barcelona if they were aware of it happening as it would be hypocritical as Liverpool's behaviour in attaining players or unsettling players has been dreadful.

{Ed002's Note - How is it anything to do with Barcelona. If Bic (Liverpool’s Ball Point Pen Partner) were to drop its electric raspberry colour (the same colour used in Young Boys fourth European away kit), would it be the fault of Liverpool?

9.) 31 Dec 2017 16:41:40
I see your point. I just thought it strange it was linked on the Barcelona website according to the (admittedly dubious) telegraph. I just can't see them having the site linked to their page and being unaware that couts number was put up without Nike informing them. I also can't see Nike making such an error like that but who knows. If you think there was nothing in it, there was probably nothing in it.

10.) 31 Dec 2017 21:19:02
I believe coutinios new number is 708 7080. TAXI.

11.) 01 Jan 2018 11:35:28
The Nike advertisement for Barcelona - coutinho jerseys and the link to buy them were on the official Barcelona website, I highly doubt Nike have the power to post links on their website without their knowledge, if this was Liverpool they'd have strips tore off them,

I found milners selection baffling. He is poor in midfield I honestly don't and never had rated him but I'm not going to pull him apart. To rest players and them bring them on for the win has never made sense to me. Play them get into a position to win then rest them. Solanke looked out of his depth today and was on the pitch far too long today he should of been subbed earlier as he was anonymous today. To me Everton never troubled us but the selection stifled us. It was never a penalty but that's football. Just wish we had played pur strongest line-up got into a comfortable position and then rested players.

p1

1.) 10 Dec 2017 18:47:29
If you think Milners poor try watching Lukaku.

2.) 10 Dec 2017 19:11:28
Not picking Coutinho and Firmino to start really cost us today.
Pick Firmino and Coutinho, get a 3 goal lead after an hour and then take them off.

Klopp took a big gamble today on Solanke and Milner. His gamble back-fired.

3.) 10 Dec 2017 19:24:58
Ron
I thought Solanke did well.

4.) 10 Dec 2017 19:28:43
Coutinho was carrying a knock, missed training friday didn't he! every big team leaves big players on d bench every week. the eleven players we had on the pitch played Everton off the park. He's resting players this season in a hectic period, the very thing everyone was moaning we couldn't do last season with a smaller squad. if Manè passes to make it 2-0 the games over.

5.) 10 Dec 2017 19:39:30
got to agree 100 per cent, start with your best team, we would then have got 2 or 3 goals, then take off a couple of the better players .
my view is that Klopp does not understand what playing against Everton means to our fans,
making 6 changes was always going to take an edge off our play,
way too many safe passes,
Lovren actually missing the cross, then getting too near the attacker, meaning there was then contact, giving the Ref a chance to give the pen,
had Lovren just guided the player away from the goal, they would never have scored,
dont want to go to heavy on Lovren, but he cost us that goal,
to be fair, the cross from Rooney was I would say the best pass of the game,
I hope that Klopp learns something from this game,
sorry to say it, but he messed up again today,
If Mane had have passed when we had 3 or was it 4 against 3, end of first half, we would be enjoying a great win,
just to finish off,
Klopp should have left rotating the team for the game on Wed night, not against Everton .
Rant over .

6.) 10 Dec 2017 19:50:53
Not bashing him at all but solanke was anonymous today. Really not sure what game you watched supermane. But on the other hand if mane was less selfish we wouldn't be picking the bones out of it.

7.) 10 Dec 2017 20:04:35
Milner, Henderson, Moreno, Matip, Wijnaldum, Lovren, Klavan and Mignolet all receive certain flack from a minority to a large majority of fans varying on each player. Whether unjustified or deserved they still split opinion amongst fans but are all still regular first teamers under Klopp. Whether fans like them or defend them doesn't make a difference as they are all starting games regularly this season, so the only person who matters whether they rate them or not appears to be giving them his vote of confidence. Klopps stubbornness to continue with some of the named above could prove to be our handbrake this season.

8.) 10 Dec 2017 20:19:16
Questioning the lineup after a result is nothing but low hanging fruit nonsense as none of us here has the info the manager has based on fitness levels and knocks that players are carrying so to me, it is a lazy way of analysing a game.

The lineup we put out did the job and got a goal and should have been out of sight at 2-0 had Mane not been a total jerk and not square the ball to Ox and Salah for a tap in. Did the klineup affect that or is that Klopp's fault and instructed Mane to be a jerk? All in all, we had that game won and did not make hay while the sun was out, period. On the pen. Lewin dived and got lucky. We should have never been in that position cos at 2-0 up, we would have been home and dry.

9.) 10 Dec 2017 20:22:24
Jay, Klopp really does have a lots of strong points, but ha baffles me with his strange team selection and use of his subs,
sadly, this is happening far too often,
so the term Handbrake is a very good one .

10.) 10 Dec 2017 20:34:13
Had Mane been unselfish and passed to Salah or The Ox just before had time we would have been 2-0 up. Or had Lovren not fallen for Calvert-Lewins buying a Pen we would have won 1-0.
Not playing Firmino and Coutinho did not matter today, if not for individual errors we would have won.

11.) 10 Dec 2017 20:37:27
Jordan Henderson is our Achilles heel, no sense of attack, slows the play down, just look at our performances without him.

12.) 10 Dec 2017 20:42:57
Happy, did you have a problem with Klopp rotating when we have been winning games of late? If the answer is no and you were not slating him back then, please don't come out with that hindsight genius business on here as it won't work. The lineup is a non issue cos we were winning and in full control of the game. Did you consider that?

I never had an issue with Klopp rotating then cos we were winning and picking up points so I don't have a prob with it now as that did not cost us the game today. Mane's selfishness and an incompetent ref cost us.

13.) 10 Dec 2017 19:28:43

15.) 10 Dec 2017 22:54:58
Happy, Klopp has been rotating for weeks now and we have picked up 17 out of 21 points so if you did not know that Klop would rotate today then sorry, you are at fault for not being attentive. That is not Klopp's fault and NO, he does not have to play his best team all the time. Conte played his best team for the past 4 games and got undone at WH. He admitted that his team was tired. This is what Klopp is trying to avoid as the busy period will kill you if you don't rotate and Klopp does not care in what game you do it in as all our games ar big games in the PL now and in the CL.

Also, it has been mentioned here repeatedly that Cou had a knock and did not train on Fri and had Klopp risked him and got further injured, would you have applauded Klopp for taking the chance? Also, do you have the info that Klopp has regarding players' fitness, energy levels, injuries and so on, all things that influence the selection process? I don't and nobody does and since that is the case, you nor I cannot say what we would do in Klopp's place as you don't have the info he has, plain and simple.

Sorry for the random name not asking if we're interested in him. Just on opinions if he would complement the team. Ed 1 would be interested in your input here too. It's not just his goal last night either was going to post about him before the match but didn't get the chance. Cabaye seems to be able to score from midfield and decent in dead ball situations which I believe is one of our weak areas at the moment.

{Ed001's Note - god no.}

motd fever at its finest, bang average player who's entering his 30's. No thanks.

{Ed002's Note - For now the site has been taken down. To work on emotive issues we will need a framework to work within or it can easily become an unacceptable free for all. We need to agree, amongst the Eds, what is acceptable and what is not - it is clear that the entirely open forum doesn't work.}

1.) 30 Nov 2016 22:19:49
Thanks for the update ed002, much appreciated.

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome - there are some good contributors but it easily runs away with itself. I would like to get it back but it is pretty essential to put that framework in place.}

2.) 01 Dec 2016 00:32:10
does framework mean censorship edd?
i think that was part of the sites charm .
shame its come to this.

3.) 01 Dec 2016 00:44:04
Agree with your point Ed002.
Do miss the page.

4.) 30 Nov 2016 23:58:33
Understood, many thanks to you and all the other Eds for all the excellent work you do for the sites.

5.) 01 Dec 2016 09:39:22
I didn't quite realize how many sites you have! - how many eds is there?

{Ed033's Note - There are about 70 sites. They can be accessed from the 2 grey drop down menus just before the start of the posts. Not all sites are popular though. There are around 10 eds.

6.) 01 Dec 2016 10:27:48
Thanks ed33 mate.

7.) 01 Dec 2016 17:23:53
"To work on emotive issues. " hmmmm, maybe that's what they WANT us to think,!
