So I’ve been reading for years and never posted, never needed to as I’m not in the know and not even based in Liverpool so know one affiliated with the club at all. I won tickets through my company for Wimbledon in the nice area, not a massive tennis fan or never been so let’s call it the VIP bit. Was in the the bar with the Mrs and some bird knocked my drink off the bar. Turned round, was some stunner of a blonde, I through I recognised her but wasn’t sure. Anyway, I’m wiping away my beer off my shoe and once finished I stand back up. Steven Gerrard was there and the bird I recognised was Alex.

He apologised although she couldn’t apologise enough and he brought me and the wife a few drinks. Sound guy. Anyway, I said you prob won’t tell me Stevie but who are Liverpool singing this year and k said about this site, raved about Robbo Carra the fields he looked at me gone out like what the hell you on about so I showed him. All he said when he left was Robbo is right. That’s all I’m saying. No it’s a great rumour 100% real and didn’t say Diomande was signing. In his own words just Robbo on here was right.

07 Jul 2026 21:31:46
Thanks Robbo.

07 Jul 2026 21:39:57
Well @LFC, he was at Wimbeldon, that much is correct. Let's hope so bro.

I've been saying Robbo is right before even Robbo knew he was right, so yes, both Stevie G & Robbo are right.

2

07 Jul 2026 22:06:05
Barno, surely we have walked away from Diomande by now.

0

07 Jul 2026 22:21:08
Now this is the kind of rumour we live for. Did you ask if you could wash his windows from now on?

1

07 Jul 2026 22:25:17
That's some of the funniest s*** I've read on here in years. Spat my drink out. Grade A banter.

Yo,

Got a update. Missed out on Xavier Parker unfortunately, as all know. Was Liverpool's top target at academy level this summer and as reported elsewhere the club won't look for a plan B or anything like that.

Liverpool are still working on some deals though. Currently working on bringing in Joshua Holme, cousin of Liverpool U18 player Haydn, and Josh Chigwada from Everton.

Heard Celtic got badly done. Tribunal fee for Dara Jikiemi will be low.

Cheers.

10

07 Jul 2026 19:44:54
Thanks for the update, Noahhh.

4

07 Jul 2026 20:13:10
This is now the second post you've nicked from Lewis Bower, who actually covers Liverpool's academy on X. You've even paraphrased the "Plan B" bit. Have some shame.

07 Jul 2026 20:42:13
Good spot, Anfield Forge. There are a couple of people on here posting a few mins after specific people.

Why does everyone wanna pretend to be ITK?

6

07 Jul 2026 21:12:52
Maybe some people aren't on Twitter and don't see the posts.
Why shoot people down, it's a rumour site for God's sake.

4

07 Jul 2026 21:14:44
I was gonna say exactly the same thing, @AnfieldForge. Some of these new ''ITKs'' don't even attempt to come across as genuine.

2

07 Jul 2026 21:17:19
Hey Anfild Forge,
Noahhh said we can trust him!!

1

07 Jul 2026 21:26:00
Noahhh Clue.

3

07 Jul 2026 21:49:24
FatWallet, I think the issue is attribution. Of course a load of folks aren't on X, or Insta or loads of others. So it's perfectly valid posting stuff on here, and useful to other folks too.

However, not attributing it to the originator is just wrong, in my view. Plagiarism.

3

07 Jul 2026 22:25:02
I trust Noahhh. He built an ark and everything.

1

06 Jul 2026 21:52:25
Also Noahh, you can't just give us 1 deal, surely you have to do 2. 😫

26

07 Jul 2026 07:06:55
You can reply to the original post instead of creating new ones, you know, pal. Makes it easier to see what thread you're talking about.

17

07 Jul 2026 07:46:49
Oh yeah, never actually noticed hahah, cheers fella.

4

06 Jul 2026 21:50:39
I read about Jikiemi and hour before it was posted. We've been talking to him for the last season. Looks like another good prospect. Hopefully not just a plan like Gannon Doak, but again you can't argue good business or could turn out to be another Liam Hughes (who? Exactly) or hopefully could be the future Captain.

3

07 Jul 2026 09:52:09
Nothing to see here, it's been touted for ages. We're gathering youth players, it's a trading game. Of all of them, the Mexican lad may go straight into the match day squad if we get him, and the Senegalese we bought may be around the fringes of the squad.

The real focus needs to be getting the first team in shape. We may raise some peripheral profits with these deals to help buy Barcolas left leg.

4

07 Jul 2026 12:56:43
I would have thought the focus should and can be on both.

I would imagine there are people at the club who have responsibility for different aspects of the team, i.e., current first team and future first team, and getting a good return on those that don't make the first team squad. If not, there should be.

2

07 Jul 2026 15:08:17
As I said, Footyfan, my view is the real focus should be first team recruitment and development. Secondary is the trading of players at youth level. Once in a decade someone makes it as an established first teamer like Trent, the rest of the incomings and outgoings tend to just generate surpluses to help fund the first team.

1

06 Jul 2026 19:12:17
Lads,

As I said some days/week ago, Dara Jikiemi would very likely be done, and now it is.

Club is buzzing with the signing of the young and highly rated CB. Been pursuing him for a long time.

Just know that I’m reliable. You can trust what I say. For those who don’t know, I update on the academy. Got a few good sources.

Cheers lads.

32

06 Jul 2026 20:00:36
Never trust anyone who says trust me.

65

06 Jul 2026 20:22:13
I mean, it's been reported our strong interest in him for the best part of a year. Calling that one doesn't really prove much, to be honest.

13

06 Jul 2026 20:25:49
Thanks for sharing, Noah.

13

06 Jul 2026 20:40:12
Followed by replacing the "Egyptian King" with the new "Egyptian King" = Omar Marmoush 60 million Euro.

2

06 Jul 2026 20:41:59
Cheers, Noah. 👍👍

3

06 Jul 2026 20:54:00
Noahhh - lads and ladettes yh! 😉 ⚽️ ✌

3

06 Jul 2026 21:39:59
007, we won't be getting Marmoush, City are not daft to sell to and at that price for starters.

2

06 Jul 2026 22:43:58
Thanks Noahhh, all info is good info, so keep it coming.

4

06 Jul 2026 23:14:00
Jikiemi was a done deal since January. It's also been heavily reported by various sources.

You're a spoofer, mate. About "Just know that I'm reliable. You can trust what I say." 🤣🤣🤣

15

06 Jul 2026 23:55:34
Any man who must say 'I am the King' is no true king.

9

07 Jul 2026 07:38:21
Give it a rest. I didn't know he'd been of interest and signed. So cheers, Noah.

3

07 Jul 2026 11:53:01
We're going to have the best defense in 2035.

5

07 Jul 2026 16:32:55
Hello Bazzinga,

Spurs are very keen on Omar Marmoush for a £60 million fee, give Gakpo the elbow, and replace with Omar, wants a move for first team football, he is behind at Man Cheaty:
Doku, Haaland, Semenyo
Foden, Cherki, Savinho
Marmoush, Bobb, Grealish: Sixth choice Marmoush at best, City squad overloaded with foreign players for eligible numbers, might not even get in the City PL squad for next year? especially with incoming transfers for Maresca, probably one of the reasons they went for Anderson.

Fair play financial rules to obey more than ever?

Argentina v Egypt 1700 hrs tonight ITV1, ITVX : Salah versus Mac Allister, Marmoush is a sub ( lack of match fitness?, due to no playing time at City).
If ye don't ask, ye don't get a reply!

1

07 Jul 2026 17:16:06
We were heavily linked with Marmoush before he went there, it's a surprise the interest hasn't been resurrected, unless his failure to do much has put us off completely.

2

06 Jul 2026 17:42:06
Reds,

Although I’m still relatively new to posting here, I respect everyone’s views and opinions, especially those who put their trust in the established voices like Carra, Robbo, and others.

That said, I’m sticking with what I said a week ago. Liverpool have walked away from the Yan Diomande deal and, from what I’ve heard, they won’t be going back. The club feel they were messed around by Roc Nation, so they’ve moved on.

I also expect PSG to end up signing both of their winger targets, Diomande and Alikouche, as Carra has mentioned.

As for Barcola, we’re in a really strong position. I believe we’ll beat Arsenal to him, especially as they’re putting most of their focus on Morgan Rogers, bid for Barcola after World Cup.

14

06 Jul 2026 19:19:22
And I will stand by what I've said for weeks. We will not be signing any 'big stars' this window and I include Barcola in that too. I voiced saying Diomande wouldn't be signing when Carra and Robbo said he would or a great chance of it! No chance in my opinion and looks like I'm right.

LFC this window will bring in unknown youngsters or mid range players to be developed to run along side the core we already have.

3

06 Jul 2026 19:28:52
We don't even need these wingers. We need a goddamn DM and RB. Why aren't we signing them first!!!

10

06 Jul 2026 19:42:34
Our wingers in the current squad:

Chiesa
Rio
Gakpo

But sure, we don't need a winger as a priority, ok, mate.

37

06 Jul 2026 19:48:23
I'm chill. Still over the moon Arne Slot won't be Liverpool manager next season.

Still over the moon we don't have to watch that kind of football at my Club, hopefully never again.

In terms of squad, it's miles off winning a league, even further off winning a European Cup. If I'm being totally honest, it needs 4/5 players to even compete. But who cares, no Arne is so beautiful.

18

06 Jul 2026 20:21:11
Grizz, are you the one off of X who was making posts saying he wasn't posting again?

3

06 Jul 2026 20:38:23
No, mate. Not on X.

1

06 Jul 2026 20:40:34
ChangingOfGvardiol, you forgot Munoz, and Elliot has returned too.

5

06 Jul 2026 20:41:28
Oooooooh. Interesting. Beginning of "the battle of the ITKs". I'm excited. 😂

10

06 Jul 2026 20:43:30
True, LfFC8, a couple summers ago, people were absolutely losing their minds when we made no signings and that season ended up ok.

2

06 Jul 2026 21:16:17
Aray, there already has been 1 battle (Slot). You would have thought the fake regurgitators learnt their lesson but noo. 😂

14

06 Jul 2026 21:43:48
@Grizz, a club doesn't walk away from a 100mil deal for a priority target because of agents.

They deal with those s***ters every day of the week.

You seem to be echoing your opinion on the back of Carras' comments earlier.

I'll tell you what's happening, in my opinion.

PSG were never signing Diomande.

Liverpool will sign Diomande.

Barcola deal will not happen, whether we sign Diomande or not. Which is a good job, really, since we just don't need him. There is zero chance of us signing another left winger, even if he can play a little on the right.

8

06 Jul 2026 22:05:54
John, Fair enough, mate, but I think you're missing the point.

This isn't about Liverpool refusing to deal with a difficult agent. It's about the club believing they were deliberately played by Roc Nation throughout the process. That's completely different. Once Liverpool reached that conclusion, they walked away from the deal and have no intention of going back.

I actually posted that Liverpool had walked away over a week ago, long before Carra spoke about it today, so I'm not jumping on the back of his comments.

If anything, what he said only adds weight to what I'd already been told.

I also don't agree that Liverpool will sign Diomande. I believe PSG will end up signing both Diomande and Alikouche.

On Barcola, we'll have to agree to disagree. I still think Liverpool are very much in that race, and I actually fancy us ahead of Arsenal because they're prioritising Morgan Rogers.

Time will tell, but that's the information I'm standing by.

6

06 Jul 2026 22:44:16
Are "Think", "expect" and "believe" words of wisdom?
It sounds like you are just taking a punt. Keep posting please, as this is a rumours site, but nothing new here for me.

1

06 Jul 2026 22:59:03
How's the situation going with Fields?

0

07 Jul 2026 05:41:08
Fair enough @Grizz, your opinions are valid and always appreciated, as is anybody's gossip / rumours. That's what makes this site tick. I just disagree strongly with your analysis. But time will tell.

1

07 Jul 2026 13:49:54
Tis rather hectic at the moment, Rokki. Lots of ifs and maybes, but nothing concrete. I think a lot of this is down to the fact the STC looks to be leaving, which is causing a few in house problems.

3

07 Jul 2026 14:14:26
I don't believe Liverpool have walked away at all from Diomande. One, it's not been announced. Normally we'd announce it or at least feed the media we've pulled out. Secondly, no bid or rumours from the usual social media crown that PSG are in discussions. I believe the agents are p****, and there are still negotiations going on. The 'prefer PSG link' has been made by his agent, probably to hurry us along and come in with a higher bid.

The club are shrewd dealers when it comes to signing players, it's what lots of proper ITKs say. I think they're negotiating agent fees. Went to uni in the Pool, stayed a number of years after. I'll see if I can reach out and get the dishwasher at the training grounds name and see what they've heard!

2

07 Jul 2026 16:08:27
I know some agents (including some who worked for Raiola's agency) and a couple of people high up in some Italian and German clubs.

No matter how annoying and unprofessional an agent is, the club will still deal with them if they represent a target the club really wants.

Plenty of players have atrocious reps: Pogba, Salah, De Ligt, etc etc. Clubs still speak to them and still buy them. The finances and the need for the player determine transfers, whether or not the club likes the rep really doesn't matter to any of the clubs I'm familiar with.

3

07 Jul 2026 18:40:22
So we send our a*******s to deal with theirs. 😂

0

06 Jul 2026 17:31:11
I see RedmenTV are getting excited that we’re in for some 17 year old… anyone know if there is anything truth to this and whether he is anywhere near first team ready or just another long-term signing for selling in a few years at profit?

1

06 Jul 2026 19:22:49
I read it's Mexico's Gilberto Mora.

2

06 Jul 2026 19:24:01
Did RedmenTV TV give his name?

1

06 Jul 2026 21:25:38
Even a clocks right twice a day, out of curiosity did any of the itk's mention having inside knowledge of the Munoz deal before it was announced?

3

07 Jul 2026 12:19:21
Munoz deal wasn't floated at all. Hopefully we get more of these slightly left field transfers through over the coming weeks, although who knows what type of buy he'll turn out to be.

Historically, the lower profile or quicker deals have often proven to have been better than the long convoluted pursuits like Keita or Isak.

The main deal I can think of that we persevered with that ultimately proved worth it was VVD, but he was already a well established player in the Premier League.

06 Jul 2026 16:51:50
Hi all,
We were looking at a young winger from Lyon last year, Malick Fofana. Thought we might have went for him as Lyon need the money and Luis Diaz needed replacing. Would he still be an option? Might be in the Belgium team tomorrow if he was called up.

Also still hoping Madrid fans drive Mbappe out as him and his mother have a soft spot for Liverpool.

2

06 Jul 2026 18:46:56
I might be in the England team if I had been any good at football and been called up.

8

07 Jul 2026 13:37:26
Hi Potassium,
My dad applied for walking football England trials a year or 2 ago when they had them at Burnley.
He wasn't pleased when they told him they were looking for people around the 50 year old range and not 85.

I last played walking football with him 5 months ago.
Now he has dementia and doesn't know me half the time.
Made me laugh when you mentioned England.
Thank you, P.

06 Jul 2026 15:19:16
Hello all,

Not a great update I'm afraid but felt it's worth touching base with you all.

So.

Leipzig have declared to PSG that they would want Ibrahim Mbaye as part of a deal for Yan Diomande.

That changes the landscape of this transfer pretty dramatically if PSG were to accept this.

With Akilouche heading to Paris (as I stated a month or so back) this now opens the door for Barcola to leave if they pursue Diomande further.

We are still there for Yan, we've done a lot of work on the deal but I do get the feeling people at the club are growing tired and are pretty pissed with the players' representatives.

If we sell Gakpo, Barcola is 100% going to be in the conversation for Liverpool but it doesn't help us with the vacancy on the right hand side.

I'd think in the coming week we will likely start hearing a lot of rumours, most of which take with a pinch of salt.

I'll keep you updated if I hear anything concrete.

Ta.

65

06 Jul 2026 16:01:52
Cheers for the update, Carra. Much appreciate these updates.

Is the door open by any chance for a Mo 1 year deal? If we end up signing no one there this summer, it might be a shout.

4

06 Jul 2026 16:04:21
Cheers, Carra, appreciate the update as always, even though it's not the best of news.

2

06 Jul 2026 16:06:10
Thanks for sharing, Carra, as always.

I think we're all getting tired of his representatives at this point.

Unfortunately, right wing is the number one priority for us this summer, so we need to make sure we get it right!

6

06 Jul 2026 16:18:20
Thank you, Carra.

It's a tough transfer market in many ways.
Resources to give up Diomande and then sell Gakpo and
buy left, right wingers and strikers, a center midfielder.
I wish I could buy a running back on the right.

4

06 Jul 2026 16:26:52
Thanks Cara, in your next update, can you also provide backup options/plans on right wing assuming Diomande transfer is looking less likely day by day?

1

06 Jul 2026 16:28:52
Carra, my problem with PSG is on the right they have Desire Doue and Diomande is nowhere that level, he might push Barcola but for me PSG have now become the best club side in the world.

I don't see how Diomande makes them better, he gets nowhere near the first team.
I don't think they are stupid and they are better ways to improve the squad and team and Diomande is not it for them.

6

06 Jul 2026 16:29:33
Nice one Carra, we need to move on to other targets. We're being toyed with, unfortunately.

Not many good choices though, fear we don't end up with either Yan or Barcola tbh.

Looking bleak.

5

06 Jul 2026 16:29:36
Appreciate the update.

As much as we want him, I don't think we can afford to lose anymore time trying to get this deal over the line. Still so many signings to make.

I think we have to accept the left hand side will be more dominant than the right for the next few years.

It doesn't seem like there's anyone available that can come in this summer and improve us on the RW.

4

06 Jul 2026 16:40:04
Have a real strong feeling this window is going to be a massive let down leaving a lot of fans, myself included, extremely disgruntled. Just don't see us doing much business at all with these frankly absurd prices this summer.

Also, gonna stick my neck on the line and say we're definitely not signing Diomande or Barcola.

4

06 Jul 2026 16:47:41
Imho, they should throw the kitchen sink at Rayan, looks a better player to my eye anyway (and can also play CF). I'd do the same for Bouaddi too (who apparently can also play RB). Those two alone would go a long way to sorting our problem positions, and with that big outlay, maybe more Munoz-like signings for the other areas.

11

06 Jul 2026 16:55:07
Cheers, Carra.

Time is ticking on the window.

1

06 Jul 2026 16:57:11
Cheers, Carra.

Maybe it's time to just move on. Why would our hierarchy wanna deal with a player's reps who are so blatantly awful to deal with?

Either test Bayern's resolve with a 140 mil bid for Olise, or go for someone like Kroupi, who would be a fair bit cheaper and can play anywhere across the front, or maybe even Minteh from Brighton.

Quick, young and busts a gut up and down... not so sure on his end product tho...

4

06 Jul 2026 17:01:50
What we need above anything else, is 2 maybe 3 top midfielders, we might lose Macallister, Endo, maybe Jones, n Grav needs to get back to doing when we won the league, strengthen the midfield n it helps the defence and attack, then we can worry about wingers.

4

06 Jul 2026 17:02:23
Remember when our scouts went to Salzburg and we signed Minamino?
There was another player playing for Salzburg at that time that went to Dortmund.

Or when we signed Keita from them, or even Konate.

Ya, maybe we should never sign our first choice with Red Bull clubs. It kinda bodes well for us.

2

06 Jul 2026 17:12:51
We've known Salah was leaving for months and months.

Sounds like another Hughes masterclass to me. Pinning all the hopes and dreams on one player, and end up with Summerville and Bowen. 😂😂

5

06 Jul 2026 17:24:59
Yes, we knew Salah was leaving months, and we've been working on Diomande. They've done a lot of work to try to get him. If he ends up at PSG I don't see how that's a stick to beat Hughes with. And a club could do a lot worse than end up with Bowen. Top little player.

10

06 Jul 2026 17:32:03
Cheers Carra.

1

06 Jul 2026 17:46:02
Cheers, Carra. Thanks for taking the time to keep us in the loop. 👊

4

06 Jul 2026 17:55:27
@grino75, ... I've said exactly the same for long enough. Which is just one of the reasons why PSG Won't buy him; swap deal or not.

He will not go to PSG unless RBL sell him for a ridiculously low fee - which will not happen.

PSG do not just buy 100mil players anymore for the sake of it, especially when they won't get in the 1st 11.

PSG are looking at bigger fish, Olise is one of those.

5

06 Jul 2026 17:23:48
F**k Diomande and Barcola, get Mika Godts an highjack the Akilouche deal

4

06 Jul 2026 18:22:48
Cheers Carra, getting sick of this Diamande s*** show.
Need to move on, hopefully the club have other signings going on behind the scenes.

4

06 Jul 2026 20:49:18
Cheers for the update, Carra. Surely now his agency will push for Diomande to join us, otherwise I'd assume they'd lose out on their cut if there's a player swap involved.

1

06 Jul 2026 20:52:35
John Barnes is God. Football changes, mate, all the time, you see, adamant he is coming. I am 50 - 50, I think if PSG coughed up he would go there and on loan back to RBL. What's your thoughts on the percentage of that he comes?

1

06 Jul 2026 21:11:16
Big risk, Lfc8, may be we end up with no one new of the right standard in the key areas of weakness at RW, RB and CM. It's a very slow window other than Spurs so perhaps most business gets done later in July early Aug this year.

1

06 Jul 2026 21:16:41
Nice one Carra mate.

7

07 Jul 2026 20:25:21
Be interesting to know from any genuine in the know posters who is setting the onfield strategy at the club, given Hughes is leaving, Edwards probably the same, and Iraola on a two year deal.

We’re typically signing players on 5 year deals, and as a minimum they stay for 3, so will likely outlive our directors and coach.

Most players we’re linked with for midfield like Wharton don’t meet the profile of the type of player supporters think we need, and equally don’t fit with Iraola’s style of play as we’ve seen it at Bournemouth.

We’ve bought a guy in Munoz who seems to usually play off the left, where we have Rio and Gakpo, and are still being linked with left sided players like Barcola.

We have an injury prone right back who’ll probably never play more than half a season for us in the league, but don’t seem to be linked with any first team ready right backs.

The Diomande saga is at least showing we’re trying hard to get a Mo replacement, but unfortunately that’s fading, with only two other right sided players being linked - again both very young players from Germany. It’s puzzling.

07 Jul 2026 21:31:59
@TopAlfie1006, I appreciate football changes all the time, but what won't change is PSG coughing up the required fee. It just isn't happening. They were never keen on him in the 1st place. Not that they don't believe he'll be a quality footballer, but currently, with one season behind him, it's simply too much money to chance on him.

And there is no way he will dislodge Doue on the right.

PSG no longer just splash the cash on just anyone. They are interested if the person can improve the team, if they can't, they are not. And Diomande cannot.

It's not whether Diomande wants PSG over Liverpool - Liverpool is all he's got.

100% for me at the moment pal.
