Just came across this. Not sure if true or not.
Marko Grujic set to join Hertha Berlin on a season-long loan after agreeing extension to his #LFC contract.

It's all over the digital media and I hope it's true. The last item I read said he was already on his way to Germany. I wonder if anybody can confirm he has definitely signed his contract extension?

ArAy. If he's gone out on loan, he will have signed an extension. The club wouldn't loan a player in the last year of their contract.

Exactly, EpicPotato. I'm aware. I was just trying to see if the flying part to Germany today, could be true, and that could possibly happen only if an extension has been signed.

I think they just mentioned for the season. Think this is a good arrangement, a year in bunderleague playing will be good for the lad. Hope he does well as competition in our midfield is too fierce for him to get game time.

{Ed001's Note - I don't know what 'the Hegazi rumours' are. I am going to assume he has been linked to us and not that you heard a rumour that he and Salah will be going away together in the summer. I don't know of any interest from us in him, but he has been looked at this season, so that may well have changed if he has impressed the scouts.}

the idea of going on loan LAVERS is to get game time, Flanagan has not got any game time, im not talking about weather or not you rate the player, simply put his loan spell with burnley was a waste of time for all concerned.

Looking at what Flanagan's primary ability was, a defender, I'd still consider him over not good enough to plsy wide midfield players who can't defend at FB and cost goals.

Quick idea: why don't we stop fining players, clubs and managers/ coaches as it barely registers with what they make these days and instead make everything either x points deducted or other related ways of affecting clubs such as lowering a team's goal difference by x subject to the 'crime' committed?
I'd start with diving and other clear cheating!

Also, if they want to erase the abuse refs get - would a possible points deduction be on the cards? Players, mgrs alike if the abuse was bad enough could that be an option - say sthg like a 2 point deduction or say 10 if a ref was physically abused?

Disgusting isn’t it. I live on the Isle of Man, and for our annual TT motorbike races, the 20 minute flight from Liverpool goes from £40 to up to £550. for twenty minutes. It should be illegal for companies to exploit stuff like that.
