So today's reports say we are after Ε ime Vrsaljko.

1.) 13 Dec 2017 10:36:30
Bless you.

2.) 13 Dec 2017 12:58:51
Can we all just agree now that if we chase him or get him, he's referred to as Sime? Otherwise the search function for latest info will become a nightmare!

{Ed002's Note - Well to save you searching. It hasn't worked out in Madrid for Sime Vrsaljko and he has been made available by Atletico with several sides already declaring an interest with both his agent and his club. There have been discussions between his agent and his preferred choice of Napoli and tentative agreement has been reached, although they have yet to make a firm offer to Atletico who are not looking to negotiate. Other clubs who have let his agent and Atletico know that they are interested in discussing the player are Inter, Juventus and Liverpool - although he would not be first pick for Juventus.}

3.) 13 Dec 2017 15:14:47
Greatly appreciated Ed002, thank you.

4.) 13 Dec 2017 19:44:27
Anyone else think that right back isn't that much of a problem position and that this might hinder the development of Gomez and Alexander-Arnold?

5.) 13 Dec 2017 19:58:09
I guess it would be about balancing. Has been said a fair number of times that neither Gomez nor TAA is viewed as a long term RB so we will need someone there in next year or so.

Hello Ed01, what happened to our interest in Mario Goetze?

{Ed001's Note - he was injured and not playing well for long periods.}

1.) 09 Nov 2017 06:01:46
Thats sad, I thought he would be a good Coutinho replacement.

New image uploaded to the
Liverpool Player Sightings page entitled, How Salah was made.

1.) 18 Dec 2017 12:35:38
Hahaha amazing.

2.) 18 Dec 2017 13:52:27
Class.

3.) 18 Dec 2017 14:01:09
When a Suarez first has babies, you have to be really careful as a pet owner. If you touch the babies they will pick up your scent and the mother Suarez will eat them.

Hi Ed01, I've been reading recent articles about Sadio mane's lack form. It's just like Journalists are trying to make mountains out of molehills because basically that's what they do for a living.
It's true he should have passed the ball instead of shooting. The talk of Mane being selfish, started after that game if I am correct. Also how can people accuse him him of being jealous when we know that he assisted Salah many times when they were playing together. It's just like wingers have to keep scoring all the time, if they fail to find the net for two or three games people get on top of their backs.
Do you really think he is doing that bad at the moment?

{Ed001's Note - he is not doing well at the moment, but it is not really an issue, he had an injury and came back off form. It happens, especially when a player recovers as quickly as him, it is in the back of his mind, imo. And yes he is greedy and selfish at times, but that is why he scored so many goals. I am sure he will be back to his best by the end of the Christmas period.}

1.) 18 Dec 2017 04:55:04
Thank you for the quick response Ed01.

{Ed001's Note - you are welcome mate.}

2.) 18 Dec 2017 05:03:25
I don't think he is a selfish player per se just that in the derby is was an exceptionally selfish moment and one which reflected poorly on him. It doesn't mean he is the worlds worst he is simply off form and trying too hard - all he needs a is a goal or two to give him the confidence and he'll be flying again. Not sure whether i'd start him against Arsenal though, the attack looked very good without him vs Bournemouth though I think both his and Salah's pace would give Arsenal nightmares.

{Ed001's Note - you have to be selfish to take a shot on from range, as the team option is to maintain possession and look to get in closer with a pass. It is not a bad thing to have a bit of selfishness within the team framework and I don't really see why that moment is such a big deal. He is human and chose the wrong option in a split second. Nothing more.}

3.) 18 Dec 2017 06:58:56
If now shows the depth we have in these certain positions and I think it’s healthy and good for the team that players have to fight their way back.

4.) 18 Dec 2017 07:05:44
In my opinion Mane got caught up in the hype about having the chance to be the first ever player to score in his first 3 Merseyside derbys. I'm sure this was an isolated incident and he will be back to form soon. Salah has shot when he should have passed at times but the Mane incident was amplified because it would have killed off the game.

5.) 18 Dec 2017 07:35:30
I think Salah's form may be playing on Sadio's mind a bit. Its possible he feels a little left out and is trying too hard to be the top man again. I hope he is aware that the LFC fans are fully behind him (at least I am) and that he will be a valued member of the first team.
But its also testament to the fact that our team has grown past being a one man army and the absence of even a player of Mane's quality was not missed much against Bournemouth.

6.) 18 Dec 2017 08:02:47
Klavy, I'm not sure Mane was aware of that statistic and if he was, then it showed a complete lack of focus on his part. The team comes first. Like Ed, I don't think Mane is selfish as there were no signs of that last season. However, he is thinking or overthinking things way too much, IMO.

On that play vs Everton, it was a rush of blood cos he looked to the side and prolly saw the players screaming for the pass BUT in a split second, he made the wrong choice and boom went the dynamite. I was critical of him at the time BUT Ed has explained the situation perfectly.

Let me be clear, Sadio Mane is a brilliant player and we would not have had the success relatively, last season w/ o him in the side. That is a known fact. Now, he is going thru a rough time so it is up to Klopp and his team mates to help him out cos we need him this season.

7.) 18 Dec 2017 09:17:58
I hope him an klopp haven't had a falling out we know wat happens in that situation look wat happened too sahko, mane could feel he is not in his favoured position Salah came along an gobbled that up but who could argue wat mo is doing in that position is world class, the media have started this fab 4 crap but it's nice we can rotate that 4 an still look deadly.

8.) 18 Dec 2017 09:25:48
it amazing how many resident psychologists are on this page! i think ed and Brover have summed it up.

9.) 18 Dec 2017 12:50:57
Big players have big ego's big managers also have big ego's so any falling out is not healthy, nothing surprises me these days as players can be petulant, but yes I agree watching Liverpool for 30 years has turned me into a phsyco analyst psychologist.

The Ox is being De bruyne tonight.

1.) 17 Dec 2017 18:28:27
He was fantastic to be fair. Fully deserved man of the match. Lovren was also excellent.

2.) 17 Dec 2017 18:41:55
He was good but De bruyne behave not in that class I'm affaid.

3.) 17 Dec 2017 21:38:05
Difference is, De Bruyne will play that influentially every week and against much better teams than Bournemouth! Long way to go before we can reasonably compare him to De Bruyne, but fair play to him nonetheless. His best game I've ever seen him play in any shirt. Ran the show, led the press, started the attack for Salah's goal with a beautifully weighted pass in behind, and nearly scored after winning the ball back single handedly! I so wanted that to fly in, but what a game he had regardless.

4.) 18 Dec 2017 00:58:06
I loved his through ball to Salah and the crunching tackles he did.

17 Dec 2017 04:45:56
Hi guys. In 2014 it was estimated that there are 580 million Lfc fans globally. Now that amount has to be increased with the Arrival of Salah. Imagine if each of us could contribute just 1 pound towards the transfer budget!

1.) 17 Dec 2017 05:31:07
Hey that's almost 3 New Zealand dollars. lol I'd be willing to put at least 5 $NZ towards owning the club!

2.) 17 Dec 2017 09:21:08
Omg we have lost the plot or am I still drunk from last night!

3.) 17 Dec 2017 10:13:19
I'm up for that! And probably the other Reds that pay Β£100+ every match to watch them haha.

13 Dec 2017 01:08:58
So apparently, Real madrid are looking to bring Salah in January to salvage their season? I wonder why they can't do so with their current squad, specially when you have the likes of Ronaldo, Ramos and Asensio.

1.) 13 Dec 2017 02:10:41
Cos super Salah is better than all of them 😝.

2.) 13 Dec 2017 02:20:19
Just rumours, it's that time of year again. I'm not going anywhere, I promise! not yet anyway :)

3.) 13 Dec 2017 12:21:09
Silly season, plus given that Salah is in top form and only just signed a long contract, it would take stupid money, which Madrid probably want for a Galactico target like Hazard and the cast off they are alleged to have offered in part exchange is not even worth considering (Lucas Vazquez, who is a very poor winger in comparison) .

I know but I just had a look at some of thier stats. Ajax only conceded 15 goals so far and the average age of thier back line is 20.5 😱.

{Ed001's Note - but the level of the opposition is not good enough. It is not a true test of ability. We would barely concede playing in the Eredivisie. Kuyt managed to play on there many years after he was finished as a player in top echelon football.}

Hi Ed01, don't you follow Dutch Eredivise? The best league for potential stars.

{Ed001's Note - not really mate, it is terrible to watch. I watch the odd match when there is nothing else to do but the football is dire, along with the vast majority of players playing there.}

He will easily replace Renato Sanchez at Swansea. Better to loan him out to a premier league club.

So you people think Lallana can replace Coutinho.
