All I'll say is don't write off VVD just yet 😎.

benny baller

1.) 04 Jun 2017 12:24:33
Come on mate don't leave us hangin. do elaborate.?

2.) 04 Jun 2017 12:53:05
I reckon we just offer £60m for VVD and Bertrand.
Take it or leave it.

3.) 04 Jun 2017 14:01:46
They'll leave it, we're in a sellers market at moment.

{Ed025's Note - very true freshst..

4.) 04 Jun 2017 14:10:21
Can I ask the eds. Who do expect us to sign. Salah and Robertson sound great to me. Grey I'm not sure on, don't know much about him or solanke. Do you expect the latter two to be in first team squad? Thanks. Your insight is fantastic. Nice to hear people who know their stuff. P. s. Give me a snug fitting pair of gola over fancy uncomfortable Nike any day.

{Ed025's Note - i would say at this stage salah and robertson would seem the most likely jonny but im sure there will be others that will be kept under wraps and come as a bit of a surprise mate..being the youngest in the family i was the king of the cast offs and so most of my footwear was "nearly new", but i must admit i looked good in my sisters red high heels.. :)

5.) 04 Jun 2017 14:56:56
Brilliant Ed025.

6.) 04 Jun 2017 16:01:41
Don't normally moan but Jesus that's so uninspiring.

{Ed025's Note - if you dont moan farno then im afraid your on the wrong site mate.. :)

7.) 04 Jun 2017 16:29:26
Ha ha thanks ed.

8.) 04 Jun 2017 18:44:36
love ed25.

Hi ed002. Just curious if you know of any talks between Liverpool and any clubs on transfers, selling or buying. I'm sure clubs constantly discuss player availability, I'm just wondering if there's anything with some potential.

benny baller

{Ed002's Note - Obviously talks happen on a regular basis and often agents are involved in those discussions. Liverpool has made an approach to Udinese as has been explained. At any one moment in time I cannot easily say what is happening. The club has looked at a lot of players and will be deciding where the efforts need to be concentrated. But they also have a very bloated squad and a number of players returning from loan which means there needs to be a significant cull. And to complicate matters further Liverpool will lose players to at least two major tournaments over the summer, and perhaps three. I have tried to drag back on the reins where folks are going overboard with these "offers" being made for several players everyday which they are asking about. Take Horn as an example, Liverpool has looked at him but they have not yet made an offer - perhaps they will. Goetze has been the focus of much attention - if Liverpool want to buy him they need to wander along with their cheque book in hand - but they have not yet made an offer. And with a couple of games to play Liverpool will not want to be disruptive to the squad.}

1.) 13 May 2016 10:19:39
Thank you ed. appreciate your time.

{Ed002's Note - No problem.}

2.) 13 May 2016 12:55:18
Ed002, this might be a really daft question - apologies if it is - but if someone in the club makes an offer for a player in another club does it become fairly common knowledge amongst the players? Is that what you mean by not wanting to be disruptive to the squad? Anyway, I totally agree that the only thing we should be focused on at the moment is sunday and next wednesday, then we can sort out the transfers in and out after that.

{Ed002's Note - Generally yes. But keep in mind that in most cases football players are not very bright so it doesn't necessarily bother them.}

3.) 14 May 2016 22:19:58
Haha, fair enough. Point taken.

18 Feb 2016 10:27:34
Eds. Has there been any news on Stewart's injury?
Thanks.

benny baller

{Ed001's Note - waiting on scan results but they believe it is ligament damage so a couple of months I believe.}

1.) 18 Feb 2016 11:27:45
Such shame. The last thing to happen. I hope it's nothing serious. He looks a top class prospect.

2.) 18 Feb 2016 12:22:30
Definitely a shame, he looked like he was settling in to the first team quite well. Could be a valuable member of the squad with his versatility as he can play midfield and in a number of positions in defence. Hope its not too bad and he can carry on where he left off.

3.) 18 Feb 2016 13:12:06
Gutted, he's been brilliant high hopes for him.

4.) 18 Feb 2016 16:28:06
agree with all the sentiments, also he misses the league cup final, I do hope the lads career dosent get blighted with injuries.

5.) 18 Feb 2016 22:43:24
Better than milner an hendo tonight they were shocking.

6.) 19 Feb 2016 13:43:17
i agree with the other posts, the lad would have got better and better, what a shame for the lad he was making his mark he was looking better with each game and i was looking forward to see him play more and more, let's just hope its not as bad as they think and he comes back sooner rather than later.

7.) 20 Feb 2016 14:06:01
Not sure why so many people clicked disagree he's been brilliant when he has played must be blind fans clicking dislike about Stewart but I agree with above he would get better and better plus better than Allen and milner.

Hi eds is there any truth in this?
Juventus have turned down a €60m offer from Liverpool for striker Alvaro Morata, according to reports in Gazzetta dello Sport.
I imagine just nonsense as its so random, but thought I'd ask.

benny baller

{Ed002's Note - Morata remains of serious interest to Real Madrid who would like to re-sign the player but Juventus are looking for a way to keep him away from Real Madrid and unless a replacement is found he will stay (at least until the summer). And the player is by all accounts happy to stay. There is however interest in him from London.}

13 Dec 2015 21:43:39
Time up mignolet. Tell me we are scouting potential replacements eds?

benny baller

{Ed001's Note - teams are always scouting replacements.}

1.) 14 Dec 2015 07:11:32
Hasn't Mignolet been offered a new contract?

2.) 14 Dec 2015 08:18:22
New contracts don't mean much do you think De gea will not leave.

3.) 14 Dec 2015 11:07:14
Is it not time to put Bogdan between the sticks?

4.) 14 Dec 2015 14:08:19
One things for sure lads, if Mignolet has been given a new contract he definitely dropped it :)

5.) 14 Dec 2015 14:09:15
They are negotiating with Mignolet. It's admirable that Klopp trusts his players absolutely but as the season goes on, and he sees repeated mistakes, he will surely re-think on whether to keep some players or not. I think Mignolet is in that list.

6.) 14 Dec 2015 14:14:00
Which goalkeepers are we interested in? I remember seeing that Rui Partricio has been watched but nothing else.

Played in Henley today, right by the Thames in the county cup. There was a half marathon going on, an i asked some runners if they were ed002, one person looked extremely sheepish. So, what time did you clock 002?

benny baller

{Ed002's Note - Henley is real close to where I live and I often pop in to use the bakery. But I usually take the car rather than run.}

1.) 09 Oct 2017 07:11:14
I used to live in Henley. Beautiful place. Was a good pitch and set up in the early 2000s.

Lovely video on lfc fb page of klopp meeting the lad from make a wish. How he is still himself when doing these things shows what a great character he is.

benny baller

1.) 26 Sep 2017 16:03:19
Klopp seems like the kind of guy you would love to have a beer with.

2.) 26 Sep 2017 16:16:39
but be vary of meeting him on touchli e.

3.) 26 Sep 2017 16:26:19
I would love to have a beer with Ed025! He is better than Klopp to me! 😎.

{Ed025's Note - we will do that one day harry, but im not cheap mate its a pint of moretti and a JD chaser for me mate..

4.) 26 Sep 2017 17:52:14
Yeah but you only ever take immediate results 8nto account when judging someone. That's the problem.

Does klopp make Liverpool fans loves better. Do the kids love him, mine do. Does he epitomize what Liverpool is about.

Are we really so bad to not give him our trust.

I freaking love the man and would want no one else. I would rather take this long journey with him than a season or two under mourimho. Simple.

5.) 26 Sep 2017 17:57:32
Just watched it then and it really is heartwarming. To see wijnaldum face as well when he was giving him a cuddle when they were having their photo taken, you saw how much it made the young lads dream come true but also how humbling and real it is to the player or manager making a difference. It also puts a lot into perspective with people like mourinho and ferguson who we love to hate but they've been doing these things for decades. All people who do this off their own back I have ultimate respect for.

And finally, just the young lads excitement about being a Liverpool fan, no hatred, just love for the badge, I guess we can all learn something from him in that respect.

You'll never walk alone.

6.) 26 Sep 2017 18:06:12
Agreed Top Business!
I don't care what people think of him, I think for myself.

7.) 26 Sep 2017 18:17:09
And what a lovely video it was too yes.
Fantastic stuff from all involved!

8.) 26 Sep 2017 18:37:17
Then I ll happily stick with Klopp mate 😄😄. Jokes aside anything for you darling 😎😎.

9.) 26 Sep 2017 18:46:59
OOOOO friends! Football friends ;)

10.) 26 Sep 2017 16:16:39
but be vary of meeting him on touchli e.

11.) 27 Sep 2017 17:39:45
Careful praising Klopp on her Benny. You call it Great character (I agree 100%) whilst others call it being a clown.

20 Sep 2017 11:45:09
Ward is a no brainer to play at the weekend.
Classy at his feet, kicked long when he had too. Players seemed to trust passing back to him.
Came and caught 2/ 3 corners, which is massive seeing as we can't defend them. Then 1 catch, on the 18 yard box?! He had about as much right to catch that as I do to slap my mum. It was outrageous.
He's About our only gk with confidence and aerial ability.
Do it klopp, do it.

benny baller

1.) 20 Sep 2017 12:23:01
Hopefully klopp isn't completely dumb.

2.) 20 Sep 2017 13:15:32
Ward did everything he was called upon to do competently and effectively. I just feel sorry for him having to be behind a defence containing Klavan.

3.) 20 Sep 2017 14:09:55
He should play. but he won't.

4.) 20 Sep 2017 14:25:14
Last keeper to come that far and collect the ball ( most of the time ) was brucie. showing my age now.

5.) 20 Sep 2017 16:04:07
Mignolet will play.

6.) 20 Sep 2017 16:42:55
Ward is still inexperienced at this level so people need to chill out. Even Karius is still unproven. However, Migs should be benched as he is clearly inferior to the other two.

7.) 20 Sep 2017 17:23:03
Ward looks good, Mignolet isn't exactly setting the world on fire, keep him in. As many have mentioned the constant rotation in defence has not helped them - pick a back 5 and stick with it. Preferably one with a competent keeper.

8.) 20 Sep 2017 18:33:02
I agree, Seano and Klopp has messed this up, big time. He does not rate Migs BUT keeps playing him The rotation thingy is a shambles. Migs is crap so he should be benched and never recalled regardless of the mistakes Ward or Karius makes as they have more margin to improve as they are both better than Migs, clearly while Migs is who and what he is, a failure.

13 Sep 2017 22:59:02
What was klopp playing at tonight. For that first goal.
First he doesn't tell Gomez to clear it, then failing that, he tells can to slow down and bottle a challenge in his favour!
If it couldn't get any worse, he proceeds to make matip go running into no mans land out on wing, whilst knowing full well lovren can't kick a simple ball by his feet!
And to top it off, klopp telepathically stops Moreno from marking the man that scores.
Forget that we've lost 2 games in the last 20 and forget tonight we had 19 attempts to their 4.
He got it all wrong when he told those players to do that. He needs to go.

benny baller

1.) 14 Sep 2017 00:36:29
Love sarcasm Benny!

2.) 14 Sep 2017 01:12:35
Unquestionably we dominated the game, and most fans are clearly fully behind Klopp.
But why are we still conceding goals so pathetically easily again? That's 13 in 7 games - pitiful.

3.) 14 Sep 2017 01:26:43
Love it Benny couldn't agree more with you pal, some fans are idiots.

4.) 14 Sep 2017 04:00:29
The defensive frailties with Liverpool are all but klopps problem because he hasn't been able to solve them.
It is all on klopp because it's his team. What he could buy or couldn't is all his fault.
Fans are likely to be upset because we should be winning cl games at Anfield.
We rue missed chances and bemoan defence every game, it's getting boring. klopp has to take responsibility to sort that defence out even if means 5 chances per match and Tony pulis football for few matches.
Just tighten things up.

5.) 13 Sep 2017 23:25:43
19 attempts scored 2.
4 attempts scored 2.
Am I missing something?

6.) 13 Sep 2017 23:42:29
Results matter, especially on the big occasion. You can win every game leading to a final, but lose the final and it makes all the previous results meaningless. We bottled it last season in Jan. We bottled Europa league final, we bottled league cup final. Should have kicked on this season, bottling it again. I like klopp, but great managers know there failings and address said failings. He's not. If your happy with playing attractive football but not getting results and not challenging then that's up to u. To me it's about winning, dirty, clean, attractive, boring, I don't care as long as there's points on the board and trophies in the cabinet.

7.) 13 Sep 2017 23:47:56
I can't believe Klopp told Firmino to miss that penalty, lunacy!

8.) 14 Sep 2017 13:06:07
Benny, Just Priceless. D1, if you wanna focus all your energy on what went wrong, you will also have something to whine about. If you wanna be positive, there is a lot to be positive about. Clearly, you have chosen to whine about the bad stuff so have at it. I will say that NOTHING is gained dwelling on one's failures.

9.) 14 Sep 2017 16:42:12
If mediocrity makes you happy then fine, maybe next game we'll have 78% possession and 25 attempts to 2 and lose 2-1 - what's your point really that we didn't lose a game at home we should have won comfortably?

10.) 14 Sep 2017 16:45:29
Klopp is the master at telepathy.

11.) 14 Sep 2017 16:46:48
ye benny, actually it pisses me off that klopp just stands on the sideline throwing his arms around doing nought to stop these goals going in.

07 Sep 2017 15:40:55
I feel I'm on a different planet with this transfer window stuff.
I think it's a good idea to shut before the season starts
"But foreign teams can still come buy our players"
So surely we shut the window, IN AND OUT.
why has the premier league not even thought of this option.
Is it against Fifa rules to stop the out signings?

benny baller

1.) 07 Sep 2017 16:10:35
In some cases they already close later, Spain closed 24 hours after us and I think Turkey closes today. I'm delighted it's going to close before the season starts and I don't see a problem with sales continuing afterwards. Just like we did with Coutinho, we can just say no.

2.) 07 Sep 2017 17:11:27
I agree with Benny on this! If you close, close it completely. No in comings and no outgoings!

{Ed002's Note - That is not possible.}

3.) 07 Sep 2017 18:12:22
Clubs are not obliged to sell players 🤝.

4.) 07 Sep 2017 18:13:42
The world is run by idiots why would football be any different.

5.) 07 Sep 2017 18:15:17
Why not ed.

{Ed002's Note - Because there is is no window to sell - only to buy andregister new players.}

6.) 07 Sep 2017 18:30:52
Surely the premier league can put into their new system that players may not be relieved from their contracts? I know it would get extremely complicated.

{Ed002's Note - They have no authority to introduce such rules as that - and no other country in the world imposes such restrictions.}

7.) 07 Sep 2017 20:42:41
The rest of Europe will just have to catch up like Brexit.

8.) 08 Sep 2017 01:04:59
It will only make it even harder for foreign clubs to buy from English clubs. English clubs will be very reluctant to sell their best players late on as they won't have an opportunity to replace them.

9.) 08 Sep 2017 04:31:32
Prem clubs will just stick massive price tags on players and if someone is willing to pay it then you sell.

Sorry macca, but since the end of February, I only take ed002 as gospel now.
I think you're wrong on all 3 fronts. No naby, no vvd. Maybe, a tiny slither of couts staying.
Everyone else can get excited, like they have done after previous posts. But my heart can't take this all over again.
