Ed002, could you translate this to english for us mere mortals. i've not a clue.
"A company under the name 'NK8 LIMITED' has been registered on the Companies House website. Two people are listed as officers - Naby Deco Keita and Bjorn Alexander Bezemer.
And the website states Keita was appointed as a director on January 11."
unless of course its all nonsense.

benny baller

{Ed002's Note - Aside from the bleeding obvious I am not sure what you are wanting. Nobby and his agent seem to have formed a limited company for their plans to make money from sponsorship etc.. obvious RBL are sick of the site of him now - going on strike, taunting the other players over money etc.. This is potentially one rough ride. And a really, really expensive one.}

1.) 12 Jan 2018 22:48:05
Ed do you think Nobby is really just an overpriced nob?

{Ed002's Note - I can’t blame the player for the price paid, RBL are livid about his i professionalism and taunting other players at the club about money, cars and clothes (?). They are very unhappy he has refused to train with the squad, and he has been very hot and cold on the pitch (again maybe not something to blame the player for).}

2.) 12 Jan 2018 22:52:11
seems like a player we will struggle to keep long term once a bigger club comes in for him! So we are going to give RBL more money than the 75 m € already agread upon for next summer plus all the other costs? Wow. we really need new negotiators or just learn to walk away and look at other players.

{Ed002's Note - As I have said, well over the odds.}

3.) 12 Jan 2018 22:52:53
No wonder the Ed’s need a break, I need one too!

4.) 12 Jan 2018 23:02:05
Keita seems to make Balotelli seem quite sensible.

{Ed002's Note - It would need to be resolved.}

5.) 12 Jan 2018 23:11:56
Seems he’s one notch under Balotelli.

6.) 12 Jan 2018 23:12:54
Tbh, I remember reading this site when Firmino signed and the consensus from the Ed's was we paid well over the odds for him.

{Ed002's Note - Right - well beyond his German release clause and the going rate at the time.}

7.) 12 Jan 2018 23:22:18
absolutely crazy money . other clubs must piss themselves laughing at us.

8.) 12 Jan 2018 23:23:29
"Aside from the bleeding obvious"
So what's obvious? i didn't know who Bjorn Alexander Bezemer was.
I didn't know the purpose of companies house.
I didn't know they had to set all that up for sponsorships.
i didn't know they didn't already have this set up.
and i didn't know if this was all related to a move to liverpool.
This is your area of expertise and far from what i know about, so please don't belittle me with calling it bleeding obvious.
I don't belittle you on things i know about which you don't; dress sense, woman, physical health :)

{Ed002's Note - Ok Benny, I made the assumption that understand such matters.}

9.) 12 Jan 2018 23:35:42
Well i do pride myself on knowing a fair bit on how the world works, however taxes, revenue and customs, vat, limited companies etc etc all that stuff is something i'll never get my head around. Thinking about it, that stuff is 90% of how the world works ha.
I appreciate your comment, and i appreciate your original answer.

{Ed002's Note - You are alright Benny.}

10.) 12 Jan 2018 23:44:45
would be nice if footballers where exactly that, did exactly that and nothing else. I blame beckham.

11.) 13 Jan 2018 01:52:03
A couple of comments and now suddenly the guy is below Balotelli? Give me (and Naby) a break. as Ed01 said the guy has probably been trying too hard and the fans are all over his back - no question he wants out and frankly he’s in a tough spot. Let’s make sure when he arrives we support him and judge him on his behavior once we actually see how he does.

12.) 13 Jan 2018 06:11:25
I trust Klopps judgment on Keita.
He may just turn out to be an absolute bargain!

13.) 13 Jan 2018 07:41:27
Over the odds for firmino.

City of the odds for de bruyne

Barcelona have just paid 142 mil for cou

Maybe rbl wouldn't of had these problems if they had just sold the lads. Why good someone against there will because your stubborn bterds lol

He will be class for us and hope he does everything to get out of that place and over to us. Taunt the f out of them.

14.) 13 Jan 2018 08:04:03
It will only be over the odds if he doesn't improve the team. Klopp somehow makes most players play better than they did at their previous clubsection bar Karius.

15.) 13 Jan 2018 08:21:04
Naby seems to be in a similar position to Emre Can with some of the fans in that when he makes a mistake or whatever, fans accuse him of having his head elsewhere.

To me, Can seems to be behaving very professionally, but the perception is there. If he isn't signing a contract with Liverpool then probably his best option would be to leave before February or suffer abuse from a section of fans who don't seem to understand that football is a job for these players.

16.) 13 Jan 2018 00:06:17
Cheers Edd002 sounds like Balotelli mk 2 is about to de desend on our club, god help us.

17.) 13 Jan 2018 10:55:13
It's nothing like balotelli. Keita is class and has been one of the most sought after midfielders in the world last couple of seasons. Coutinho faked 2 injuries to not play for us would you say he was like balotelli?

18.) 13 Jan 2018 11:03:40
VDV that's good point. There's no doubt that Can is acting in a professional manner despite his apparent eagerness to leave. But he's ran his contract down nevertheless and that will cost the club - £25 million plus easily?

If he'd been a nob, but had signed a contract and we ended up getting a good fee for him, would that be worse?

RBL are getting good money for him, they can't moan.
It's what players do now - Keita, Coutinho, VVD, Suarez - they can all cause problems in various ways.

19.) 13 Jan 2018 11:35:12
Juicer, I was commenting on some fans' perceptions that Keita and Emre are not giving their all to their current teams.

I agree that their situations are not entirely the same.

20.) 13 Jan 2018 11:52:38
Comparing Balotelli and Keita. The only similarity they have is that they're African.

{Ed001's Note - Balotelli is Italian....}

21.) 13 Jan 2018 12:29:43
I think what ed002 was saying about firmino is that he could have be purchased for less money - not matter how good we think he is now, it was still over the odds!

22.) 13 Jan 2018 12:17:34
African descent ed001.

{Ed001's Note - you could say that about anyone mate. Bit like there is something like a 99.9% chance that anyone in England could trace their ancestry back and find they are related to Richard III (iirc!). At some point everyone will have an ancestor from Africa just depends how far back you go.}

23.) 13 Jan 2018 12:48:15
Have to say big red flag for the future the way he's acting, season or two playing well and he will pull the same stuff on us when Barcelona or real come calling.

27 Dec 2017 18:03:33
Vvd done deal to Liverpool eds. Very happy man me.
Kept that one quiet didn't they!

benny baller

27 Nov 2017 17:02:39
As discussed about the couts talks in London. Is the general consensus for him to leave in January; or is the deal to be done for the summer.
Many thanks.

benny baller

{Ed002's Note - There is no agreement on him moving at this time Benny. Personally I would think Liverpool would like to keep him until the summer if he is commited unless a replacement can be found.}

1.) 27 Nov 2017 17:40:50
He looks anything but committed at the club unfortunately. A deal done swiftly before the beginning of December deadline would be beneficial to all at this point.

2.) 27 Nov 2017 17:49:03
He is clearly not commited though ed. let's hope he moves on and we bring in Mayer or Draxler.

3.) 27 Nov 2017 17:50:32
thanks ed. ill ask again friday to see if things have changed.

4.) 27 Nov 2017 18:49:08
Evening Ed002.

You mentioned the deadline Barcelona set regarding Couthino, think the deadline has passed?

{Ed002's Note - It is not a deadline. Barcelona want agreement this month as someone heading the discussions is leaving the club and will be moving to another club. At that point, they will regroup and look at alternatives, but the interest in PC won't suddenly disappear. They have other options and they have to look to them.}

5.) 27 Nov 2017 19:35:40
I would get rid and pull out everything too get rabiot of psg he is a beast an perfect replacement for Can an we have other players who can replace coutihno.

6.) 28 Nov 2017 09:39:30
We have a replacement for can, we need a replacement for Coutinho.

7.) 28 Nov 2017 09:56:16
Get rid.
He’s sublimely talented but can’t be bothered for us anymore so what’s the point in keeping him? we have seen the best of him and we won’t get it back.
His performances of late has reminded me a bit of when we first got him from inter, the odd flash of brilliance but mostly ineffective and inconsistent.
On current form for us he’s worth about the same we bought him for but to Barcelona he’s worth more than 10X that amount so it’s a no brainier to take the money and run and spend it on the defence.
Not to mention his poor attitude will be effecting team morale negativively.

8.) 28 Nov 2017 15:38:25
Drop him out of the squad. The attitude that he has shown in the last couple of matches doesn’t warrant him a place. There are other players who can take his place. Playing him is similar to playing with 10 men because his contribution is not good.

9.) 28 Nov 2017 18:08:33
Aren't him and can taking a big risk in world cup year. For me if th3u haven't forced there moves by January, then I believe atleast coutinho will perform a lot alot a lot better through the end of the season. He's not irriplacable in that Brazil team, especially with players such as Willian. Not say he's bett2e but if he's on better form it is the rw after all.

10.) 28 Nov 2017 18:35:03
The sickener is a couple of months back we could have got 100M for him, whereas now we won't get anything near that.

11.) 28 Nov 2017 19:49:38
I have been in the camp criticizing Coutinho, but I do think we're underplaying a bit how the change into central midfield can affect his game. he's not got the engine or the physique to battle away in the middle of the park and then still have gas in the tank to perform in the attacking third where he is most effective.

12.) 29 Nov 2017 18:15:18
Yeah faith that's also why he was actually converted to a right winger because hacking in the middle isn't his game.

He's not a quick think like everyone thinks. He does need that time the wing allows.

04 Jun 2017 12:16:19
All I'll say is don't write off VVD just yet 😎.

benny baller

1.) 04 Jun 2017 12:24:33
Come on mate don't leave us hangin. do elaborate.?

2.) 04 Jun 2017 12:53:05
I reckon we just offer £60m for VVD and Bertrand.
Take it or leave it.

3.) 04 Jun 2017 14:01:46
They'll leave it, we're in a sellers market at moment.

{Ed025's Note - very true freshst..

4.) 04 Jun 2017 14:10:21
Can I ask the eds. Who do expect us to sign. Salah and Robertson sound great to me. Grey I'm not sure on, don't know much about him or solanke. Do you expect the latter two to be in first team squad? Thanks. Your insight is fantastic. Nice to hear people who know their stuff. P. s. Give me a snug fitting pair of gola over fancy uncomfortable Nike any day.

{Ed025's Note - i would say at this stage salah and robertson would seem the most likely jonny but im sure there will be others that will be kept under wraps and come as a bit of a surprise mate..being the youngest in the family i was the king of the cast offs and so most of my footwear was "nearly new", but i must admit i looked good in my sisters red high heels.. :)

5.) 04 Jun 2017 14:56:56
Brilliant Ed025.

6.) 04 Jun 2017 16:01:41
Don't normally moan but Jesus that's so uninspiring.

{Ed025's Note - if you dont moan farno then im afraid your on the wrong site mate.. :)

7.) 04 Jun 2017 16:29:26
Ha ha thanks ed.

8.) 04 Jun 2017 18:44:36
love ed25.

13 May 2016 07:01:47
Hi ed002. Just curious if you know of any talks between Liverpool and any clubs on transfers, selling or buying. I'm sure clubs constantly discuss player availability, I'm just wondering if there's anything with some potential.

benny baller

{Ed002's Note - Obviously talks happen on a regular basis and often agents are involved in those discussions. Liverpool has made an approach to Udinese as has been explained. At any one moment in time I cannot easily say what is happening. The club has looked at a lot of players and will be deciding where the efforts need to be concentrated. But they also have a very bloated squad and a number of players returning from loan which means there needs to be a significant cull. And to complicate matters further Liverpool will lose players to at least two major tournaments over the summer, and perhaps three. I have tried to drag back on the reins where folks are going overboard with these "offers" being made for several players everyday which they are asking about. Take Horn as an example, Liverpool has looked at him but they have not yet made an offer - perhaps they will. Goetze has been the focus of much attention - if Liverpool want to buy him they need to wander along with their cheque book in hand - but they have not yet made an offer. And with a couple of games to play Liverpool will not want to be disruptive to the squad.}

1.) 13 May 2016 10:19:39
Thank you ed. appreciate your time.

{Ed002's Note - No problem.}

2.) 13 May 2016 12:55:18
Ed002, this might be a really daft question - apologies if it is - but if someone in the club makes an offer for a player in another club does it become fairly common knowledge amongst the players? Is that what you mean by not wanting to be disruptive to the squad? Anyway, I totally agree that the only thing we should be focused on at the moment is sunday and next wednesday, then we can sort out the transfers in and out after that.

{Ed002's Note - Generally yes. But keep in mind that in most cases football players are not very bright so it doesn't necessarily bother them.}

3.) 14 May 2016 22:19:58
Haha, fair enough. Point taken.

Just seen the birthday wishes and would like to thank everyone. Particularly hate birthdays since the 21st one. It's all down hill after that!
I'd just like to thank ed001 for the kind message, will always remember that Indian restaurant near Cheltenham when he told Rodgers was sacked before Rodgers even knew.
Would like to thank ed002 for his sheer commitment to the site despite many a DF trying their best to abuse as well as the backing for the charity game.
And finally I'd like the thank Phil the co creator of this site, as he is currently helping me make a website, from an idea that came to me. He truly is a top bloke and very talented.
Ed025, spose you're alright.
On the charity game. Everything is in place. Dermot Gallagher is dodging me, think he thinks he's big time on sly or something lol. Seeing his analyse it may be best to avoid him anyway!
I have an RA meeting tonight, which has a special guest championship Referee, so I'll put it to him if he's up for it. The just giving page is sat at £155, and once players match fees coming it we will definitely clear the £1000 mark for the two charities.
Cheers guys.

benny baller

{Ed001's Note - nice one mate, you must have hated the last 30 bdays then....}

17 Jan 2018 11:31:20
Ed002. If player X is on £100,000 a week at club Y with say 2 years left on his deal. Say they want him sold to club Z because he doesn't play and is costing them too much. But club Z only offer player X say £70,000 a week, does club Y pay the player the £30,000 downfall for the next two years?

I'm sort of thinking Mkhitryan being forced to take a wage cut if he does indeed move to arsenal for the swap.

benny baller

{Ed002's Note - No, that would rarely happen. Henrikh Mkhitaryan would not need to take a drop in wages if he were to join Arsenal. If were to go to another interested side then perhaps, but MU would not be paying the difference.}

1.) 17 Jan 2018 12:11:16
I’ve often thought this aswell Benny but in a slightly different way or wording.
If a club want to sell player X cos a team is offering an amount that they’re happy with and he isn’t playing much, but the player doesn’t ask for a transfer or hand in a request, I know they get 5% of the transfer fee but does the remaining wage on their contract have to be paid by the club to them and is this something that the selling club would just add into his transfer fee to the buying club? Can Ed02 shed any light on that? Is it the same answer as to Benny question?

{Ed002's Note - No, the remaining wage does not get paid to them.}

2.) 17 Jan 2018 12:16:42
Thanks Ed, and thank god for that otherwise someone like Robbie Keane would have racked up some amount of money purely by being transferred every second season 😂.

3.) 17 Jan 2018 12:19:45
Ah that would explain why it's so hard to move on surplus players on big wages.
May I ask your opinion on what seems to be liverpools new stance on contracts, in that firmino is on a relatively "low" basic salary, with the reported ( maybe false ) 30/ 40k goal bonus. Do you personally like this strategy performance related benefits? Or am I miles away from the truth.
Thanks a lot.

{Ed002's Note - It is not a new stance it was simply an agreement reached with Firmino's agent when he joined. It is not a strategy Liverpool are following.}

4.) 17 Jan 2018 12:33:55
I don’t like th sound of that strategy myself, feel like surely it could make a player more Greedy and not set up simple goals for others as they will take the chance on themselves if it’s going to get them 30/ 40k! Thankfully firmino is one player who doesn’t suffer from this problem but I could see it causing problems with some other type of characters.

I know players get paid a lot but the amount isn’t relative when you put it like this, if they show up to work each day for training, meetings, gym work, bonding, matches, etc. they should get their wage, goals for a striker should just be a given like defending for a centre back should be a given.

Just my opinion anyway.

5.) 17 Jan 2018 16:32:46
Aquilani had a portion of his contract paid out when we moved him on.

15 Jan 2018 09:32:32
Hi eds, is there any truth in the rumour that Andy Robertson was still running about, long after the final whistle an had to be coaxed off by the groundsman waving a can of irn bru at quarter to 11 last night?

benny baller

{Ed001's Note - it was only because it was the original style Irn Bru that they managed to get him. Scots are stockpiling it before the reduced sugar version hits the stores....}

1.) 15 Jan 2018 09:42:31
Thank fowler we had some. Else he would ran to Manchester and tried to get a game on the pitch tonight.
Unreal energy levels last night.

2.) 15 Jan 2018 10:06:08
With the dross that Utd have at LB, Jose might actually take a punt on our nomad Robertson! But just a one time deal Jose.

3.) 15 Jan 2018 10:20:50
Robertson was last seen chasing the man city coach down the m62.

{Ed001's Note - can't be true, the way he played last night he would have caught it and booted it into touch.}

4.) 15 Jan 2018 10:43:55
The rest of the team threw Robertson in an ice bath to cool him off after the game. Unfortunately, it hospitalised Raheem Sterling who nearly drowned, because they forgot to take him out of Robertson's pocket beforehand.

14 Jan 2018 21:53:29
So. Next 4 games we have Swansea Huddersfield spurs southampton.
Spurs next 4 are Southampton Man U Liverpool arsenal.
Quite realistically, if we win our four, and spurs lose to us united and arsenal. We would add 9 points to the 3 already above them. 12 points with 11 games to go. Top four could be sorted 😎
Here's my question though. We are level on points with united. Would you rather spurs won, so we can potentially chase 2nd, or would you rather united won to help us cement top four?

benny baller

1.) 14 Jan 2018 22:03:53
Well you don’t want to tempt fate too much and think spurs will steamroll arsenal but I’d take a draw between United and Spurs. We will all still drop points through the rest of the season. But think we’re more than capable of second place.

2.) 14 Jan 2018 22:07:11
To be honest unless u finish 1st then it doesn’t really matter if you finish 2nd or 3rd so I’d prbaby Rather a united win to cement top 4 for us, although I do love seeing United drop points so I don’t think any result in that game will upset me too much haha.

3.) 14 Jan 2018 22:13:37
As long as we do our job I’m happy.

4.) 14 Jan 2018 22:14:30
The big games sort themselves out. It's the other games like you mentioned u locking stubborn defences that we 'might' potentially miss the little magician, but he definitely wasn't missed today the lads were great in midfield.

5.) 14 Jan 2018 22:16:27
Jak mate I totally agree when you put it like that. If your or first, which we won't be, then it doesn't matter. Spot on. Unless of course city lose their next four then klopps party. Is coming through, !

6.) 14 Jan 2018 22:21:42
It matters if you finish 2nd instead of 3rd or 4th because you go straight through to the group stages and aviod having to play qualifying games to get in.

7.) 14 Jan 2018 22:23:03
2nd all the way.

8.) 14 Jan 2018 22:52:40
Simple for me Benny: I always want United to lose.

9.) 14 Jan 2018 23:04:42
We owe Spurs after our Wembly woes!

10.) 14 Jan 2018 23:12:50
We 100% need to aim for top 3 in case Arsenal fluke their way to winning Europa league, as I am sure they’ve changed rules to say only 4 teams can get in - meaning a situation like last season would see 4th miss out on CL to the Europa League winner. don’t want to leave anything to chance!

Although maybe I might be wrong and misunderstood the rule change 🤔.

11.) 14 Jan 2018 23:27:14
I have no doubt we will end the season in second, quite honestly obly city deserve to be above us.

12.) 14 Jan 2018 23:27:16
Absolutely hate mystic meg posts sorry bb!

13.) 14 Jan 2018 23:37:04
i’m with SR on this, I always want united to lose no matter who they are facing.
Eds quick question regarding this topic, is the premier league prize money the same for 2nd - 4th or is it slightly more for higher position?
Always get confused on that regard because i’m sure it got changed at some point or is planned to be changed, can’t remember though xD.

{Ed002's Note - it is a sliding scale.}

14.) 14 Jan 2018 23:45:37
your over complicating it lads its simple, just keep winning our game then who cares what the rest do as we play the three of them in our remaining games, play for second and go mass every day to pray for citeh to mess up hey dreams come true sometimes or so people say.

15.) 14 Jan 2018 23:46:10
Haha exactly Benny hopefully a few of city’s upcoming opponents can do what we did today and then things could get interesting ;)

16.) 15 Jan 2018 00:07:01
Benny, one game at a time, mate.

17.) 15 Jan 2018 00:12:53
Win every game, that’s all we can ask for now 👍.

18.) 15 Jan 2018 00:13:28
Would never hope united win not in a million yrs every week I hope the Mancs lose and that won't change.

19.) 15 Jan 2018 02:05:13
We need to just take things 1 game at a time. On to Swansea!

20.) 15 Jan 2018 16:18:45
Thought so ed2 cheers mate.

13 Jan 2018 12:10:49
I remember the story shankly told about Ron Yeats joining the club. An how he used him to try new kits on, going on to explain when he came through the door way in all red, he could see it will intimidate the opposition, and thus all red was used. Mainly because he was an absolute unit but still. Shanks said he was a "corner stone" and "the very beginning of liverpools rise, and he did more for the rise than anyone else "
Yeats soon became captain, and the rest they say is history.
Does anyone think VVD is klopps corner stone? Maybe, just maybe.

benny baller

1.) 13 Jan 2018 12:22:14
Nope. The manc teams and chelsea are too strong and powerful. Unless all mentioned teams either loose their wealthy owners or in utds case become less of a global force or they move to a break away league, liverpool will not win the league in our life times.

2.) 13 Jan 2018 12:25:20
Bit soon to be jumping to conclusions like that I reckon, Benny.
I remember when Buck Rodgers was on that great run with Suarez, Gerrard, Carra et al. I thought he was another Paisley or Shankley.
God was I wrong!

3.) 13 Jan 2018 12:19:21
Benny Baller, I hope so mate as he is a unit and very imposing so has the potential to be.

4.) 13 Jan 2018 12:40:42
RedWalter you are such a wind up hahahaha.

5.) 13 Jan 2018 12:44:38
Negativeredwalter, not in our life times. Good job Liecster fans didn't think like that. It is possible without spending more than City and United. Won't be easy but is possible.

6.) 13 Jan 2018 12:45:13

We should have won the league twice over the last 10 years really and that was when our spending force was way behind united and city. Atleast now if we are desperate for a player then the money is there.

Our squad is better than United's and arguably better than chelseas.

Leicester managed to do it so why not us!

How can you possibly claim Liverpool won't win it in our life times. I'm only 26 😂
Could of said that about champions league but look what happened. Could of seen two.
Also Leicester proved its capable, call it a freak season or whatever, but they got the results.
I hate discrediting managers suckin, but it was literally down to Suarez that year. Proven when hendo got a red against city and Rodgers didn't know what to do for the rest of the season.

8.) 13 Jan 2018 13:02:23
I hate using this, but Leicester won the League. So if they can do it then, "potentially" we could also. Not in our lifetime is a bit far fetched in my opinion. We would need a degree of luck, a few home grown players to make it thru, maybe the right buys in the transfer market and a good manager. It is not all down to money, it helps a great deal but not the be all and end all.

9.) 13 Jan 2018 13:02:52
NEGATIVEred indeed. hahah chelsea and united! pfffft.

"I hate discrediting managers suckin, but it was literally down to Suarez that year. Proven when hendo got a red against city and Rodgers didn't know what to do for the rest of the season. "

I don't get this statement Benny. If it was purely down to Suarez then Hendo getting a red card would not have had that much of an impact on the rest of the season! Its not as if Suarez was carded, then i would get your point.

11.) 13 Jan 2018 13:29:06
Irish. Henderson was also great that year. Rodgers messed about after that red card and showed how inept his tactical side was. The team basically picked itself that season, and when it couldn't, Rodgers got it horribly wrong.

12.) 13 Jan 2018 13:54:31
I have no doubt in my mind at all that Hendo’s red cost is the league that year. Rogers was stumped as to how to manage the gap. Just a very unlucky set of circumstances. Really thought we had it that time.

13.) 13 Jan 2018 14:11:32
I agree ND. My point is that is wasnt just down to Suarez that year.

14.) 13 Jan 2018 18:19:45
I hope I am wrong but we will see. Regardless of where we finish each year there's only one team for me.

Stopped reading after the first sentence Adam man. Can is no where near good enough for Real Madrid.
I mean unless they want to stop winning champion leagues and La Ligas.

Klavan, this season, has been better than lovren and Matip. I'd go on to say that's fact.

The most capped player outside hendo and Milner wear the armband. It's not hard to get. However, it should of bypassed can to the next capped player.
