Harry can we swap profile names? I think yours suits us to a tee. It's getting ridiculous how every time a team has there first attack they score against us.

1.) 16 Sep 2017 23:12:46
harry had a vision " we can't defend"

2.) 16 Sep 2017 23:23:22
I said earlier that o thought klavan was ok today. I take that back, he was awful. No cohesion back there. At all.

3.) 16 Sep 2017 23:24:23
With a bit of strength and passion and we should have won today.

4.) 17 Sep 2017 01:22:02
We needed a lot more than strength and passion to win Superred. Speculative shots from outside the box do not constitute genuine scoring opportunities. There was no cutting edge or ruthlessness from our forwards today. Too many wrong decisions or passes made in the final third, especially from out wide. Instead of squaring to an incoming LFC player in the box, our wide players were flashing the ball across goal in no man's land when no LFC player was available for a tap in.

5.) 17 Sep 2017 07:34:11
We were hitting straight at Burnley's goal keeper all evening!

6.) 17 Sep 2017 08:24:10
Spot on, IB. I thought Klavan was ok, not great during the game. BUT you cannot keep hitting and hoping that some way, some how, it will go in. There were options in the box to pass to but our boys kept drilling the ball across goal as if expecting the Burnley defenders to help us pout.

The amount of poor decisions we made (Cou was the worst) was what was doing my head in and if you keep doing that, the other teams know that you are desperate and in the end, you will concede as we almost did.

Cou had SEVEN shots off target alone, That is a shambles of a performance. We need to do better even tho I think our build up play was very good as we got behind them and broke them down at will esp. in the first half BUT again, poor decision making in the final third. That is my biggest concern.

7.) 17 Sep 2017 09:05:56
Agree about Coutinho BingoRed. I'd have slapped Coutinho silly after his skied shots. He could have picked out Robertson who had a clear shot on goal. That is what I'm talking about. Too many poor decisions in the final third. And that is exactly what City have that we don't. Their players have that instinct and experience under pressure in the opposition box. Our players cannot seem to find space and their team mates around the box, instead choosing to scuffle shots or hit right at the GK. No composure whatsoever, something needed to beat bus parkers.

I can't remember the last time we came back from an international break and kept our form from before the break. It always seems to ruin our momentum. City are extremely powerful this season and i knew what would happen as soon as mane saw that red card. We have to try and scrap that game and move on.

1.) 09 Sep 2017 22:25:41
After the Next international break we play utd, again at 12.30 on the Saturday, fills you with confidence doesn't it,

2.) 09 Sep 2017 22:39:55
Mark, you say you knew what would happen as soon as Mane got the red. I knew what would happen when I saw the team sheet with that back 4 that Klopp put out. 2 fullbacks that can't defend, and the worse CB in the EPL. Klopp has had over 2 years and he is no nearer to getting a decent defence than Rogers did. He is either blind or incapable of knowing how to put a defence together that can actually defend. If that is the case, I can't see him suddenly getting it right. I am fed up of hearing we will learn from our mistakes, because we haven't. It's the same old same old that I have seen for too many years now, with nothing changing.

3.) 09 Sep 2017 23:13:04
City are crap at the back infact worse than us. We have no excuse I am afraid.

4.) 09 Sep 2017 23:30:30
They had the same break we did guys.

I always try to look for a positive and I admit it is near impossible today but.

We showed some courage. Yrs the heads dropped after three nut the reason we got so heavily slammed is because we still tried to mount attacks after losing mane and the second goal. We could have tried to consolidate and kept it at 1 0 then 2 0 but we still tried to attack. That might of been wrong in hindsight but 5 0 1 0 it's still three points dropped. Also our next premiership opponent might get a tad complacent thinking we are not all that and be shocked. I can't wait for city to come to anfield coz the boys will have something to prove.

5.) 10 Sep 2017 00:05:33
If they come to Anfield and we still insist on playing Klavan we'll get a 5-0 humping again.

6.) 10 Sep 2017 08:36:36
We were fine, should of been 2 up at least when they scored. Don't like how we downed tools at 10 men but if mane had stayed on pitch we wouldn't of won that game.

Thaks edd1 for the info you gave. For such a big worldwide club its all just so embarrassing. How much extra damage has this done to our reputation when it comes to transfers? Im imagining we are a laughing stock.

{Ed001's Note - it is extremely damaging and we will have to be seen to do everything the right way from now on.}

01 Jun 2017 06:43:17
Is Mo Salah that good? I haven't seen that much of him but have seen plenty of missed chances wile at roma on the highlights. Add to that the fact he didn't settle in England last time im not too sure about this move. I was quietly optimistic about the mane rumours last year but not this one. I hope I'm proved wrong.
Please someone chip in with something encouraging about Salah for me.

1.) 01 Jun 2017 09:19:43
1. Double figures for both goals and assists last season

2. Arguably the best winger in the serie a last year

3. Still fairly young at 24

4. Wouldn't cost the earth.

Im really happy for dan sturridge. He is class. And he shut up a few of the haters up today.

{Ed025's Note - he did mark, unfortunately it wont be long until he shoots himself in the foot again mate..

1.) 15 May 2017 09:02:14
Hes injured enough times, if he shoots himself in d foot he may retire.

2.) 15 May 2017 09:21:52
That's a bit harsh Ed are you suggesting he is at fault for his injury record or something else by the foot shooting remark? Leicester won the League so it's not impossible that he can remain fit now a good part of next season with a full pre season.

{Ed025's Note - some players will declare themselves unfit if they have a broken finger nail or split ends higgins, and im afraid daniel is one of them mate..

3.) 15 May 2017 09:38:31
Broken finger nail. that's harsh. Lol.
Opinions will always be divided about Sturridge. Obviously, Sturridge wants to stay but it's left for Klopp to decide if he can count on him.

{Ed025's Note - thats right realtofel and i think its a 50/50 call, if he grew a set and stopped being such a drama queen he could be up there with the best mate..

4.) 15 May 2017 09:39:43
Are his injuries more a legacy of being forced to over train with England? If he has the mindset you suggested surely he would just not have trained due to being a bit achey? Either way thanks for clarifying I only know what I read from this site in terms of his attitude in that respect and understand from previous posts that Ed01 and yourself have different opinions. Imagine that from a LIverpool and Everton supporter πŸ˜„πŸ‘πŸ». We will leave it there hope he stays fit and good health to all!

{Ed025's Note - i happen to think hes an excellent player higgins but frustrates the life out of me mate..

5.) 15 May 2017 10:22:33
No split ends for a few weeks anyway, after that haircut.

{Ed025's Note - just his nails to worry about then ken.. :)

6.) 15 May 2017 10:23:27
I think a podcast about sturridge rehab pitting ed025 vs ed01 is in order.!

{Ed025's Note - living in different countries makes that difficult faith, plus ED001 does not really respect my opinions on liverpool matters as my glasses have a slight blue tint mate.. :)

7.) 15 May 2017 10:26:13
I don't think he's making a meal out of his injuries at all ed. I've suffered from muscular injuries the last few seasons and I've tried playing through pain and whatever but it will make things worse and you'll be out for longer. If you're injured, you're injured and there's not a lot you can do about it. I guarantee that those giving him the criticism don't realise how frustrating it is to be sidelined and watching on. We all know Sturridge wants to play after all.
I only get injuries in my left leg which is odd but a physio told me that my left leg is slightly longer than my right (about 1cm) and this could be the cause. I wonder that Sturridge may have the same problem (as well as others) . Just a thought but there isn't really a lot you can do about that.

{Ed025's Note - sorry to hear about your injuries there daredman, but with studge i cant get past the picture of him lying on a sun lounger in miami sipping a cocktail in the sun when he was in rehab while the team were playing in the cold of winter, klopp once asked "how injured are you?" and its a valid question, do you play if you have a slight cough or mild headache? or even a slight strain?, when i played men were men and you just got on with it mate..but maybe its just me..

8.) 15 May 2017 10:55:04
Only a really slight blue tint though ed, it's nice to hear the opinions of someone who doesn't support us.

{Ed025's Note - i do try and be as fair as possible mikey especially with my 2 lads being red hot liverpudlians, i dont know where i went wrong there mate.. :)

9.) 15 May 2017 11:20:41
I just think sturridge needs time to get back to his best mentally and physically. He very well may be closer to both heading into next season. Would love to see it.

10.) 15 May 2017 11:49:21
You must have married well then Ed! Some girls are more forgiving of a mans faults than others ;)

{Ed025's Note - well i did rescue her from the dingle zimbo but i wont hold that against her, kids hey...never do as they are bloody well told mate.. :)

11.) 15 May 2017 15:40:28
Sturridge is well known to spout injury over any problem. Tp the point where in klopps first season sturridge just returned and within a week was out again and klopp had to talk in the media about players not always being 100% feet etc.

12.) 15 May 2017 16:19:39
Sorry but Ed25 is spot on. There is no professional player on this planet that is always hundred 100% fit to play all the time. That is just a fact. Even those of us who played amateur footie, played and still play through injuries and knocks and niggles.

I played with a bad ankle and sore knees for years. You know why I could play through them? Cos I was in very good physical condition to begin with (didn't smoke, barely drank and had personal fitness sessions for myself) . Same with players like CR7, Firmino, Messi and the lot. They are in great physical condition and take care of themselves off the pitch. If you are not doing that, you will feel like you have to be pain-free to play. Good luck with that in any physical sport.

This is why Klopp asked Studge, "How injured are you? " The man knows what he's saying cos he actually played the game professionally and prolly played through injuries cos he was the capt. and leader of Mainz. That is the prob with Studge and it may be too late for him to fix it.

Waro are saying FSG have started that rumour or that they have opportunisticly released next seasons tickets to coinside withe rumours or both? I THINK YOUR TRYING TO SLAM FSG EVERY AND ANY CHANCE YOU GET WHY?

{Ed025's Note - because FSG have done NOTHING!!!...well besides paying off the debts...and staving off administration...and improving the ground,oh and providing big money for players...but what else have the romans done for us? :)...guys like waro make me laugh mark, and make me proud to be an evertonian mate..
