Impressive work. Luiz looks a very good footballer and Carvallho is one of the brightest English prospects out there. A quiet window (which is no bad thing) has suddenly turned into what is going to be a very very good one. And we’ve avoided both Traore and Dembele!

Ed002 might be the one to say am wrong but he is not a free transfer in the summer and it would go to a tribunal so we would be paying over £5m in my thoughts for him. I think it was about £4.5m for Elliott with a 20% sell on so if we sever sell him I bet Fulham would get more than £12m. So if Fulham get anywhere between £5 and £12m tribunal they are much better of keeping him so I definitely don’t think they would take £5m when the are in a promotion fight.

The smart thing to do would be to sign him up this window and remain at Fulham until the summer
With Milner leaving and potentially 1/ 2 more from midfield it does make sense especially him being English aswell

I think the Liverpool/ Fulham issues are hopefully in the past now. They were happy to deal with us in the summer when they signed Harry Wilson with no payment upfront. They've also loaned players from us in the past few years. It cam't all be one-way traffic.

Harry Wilson deal seemed to be good for Fulham not sure why they wouldn’t deal with us. Seems a bit like hysteria to me. I think if the money and deal is right it’ll happen. A club isn’t going to turn down money if it’s what they’re asking and the player can be loaned back.

I can understand how they would be Ed but he was out of contract. No club is going to pay more compensation than they have to. As far as I'm aware, we did nothing wrong in negotiations so it's more a problem with the football system in general that left him vulnerable to being signed as a free agent. If the roles were reversed would Fulham have done things differently to Liverpool re Elliott? And we weren't the only club interested in him. If he didn't sign with us, there's a good chance he would have signed for someone else.

Bowen plays other wing to Diaz. I agree if salah signs, I think the wages will be to high. I think lamperty will move to gunners or utd, nico will go there to replace him and first team footy. Brighton may now sign Philips as Newcastle have taken their cb.

Cobra - if we are to assume that we would not change systems if Salah were to leave and we were to look for a left-footed winger as his replacement, I would prefer Raphinha, Neto, Antony, Oyarzabal, Tsygankov, Kulusevski or Moussa Diaby to Bowen. In fact, I would rather we persisted with Elliott or Gordon at RW than go for Bowen. We could even get yet another young winger like Madueke or Demir. Just my opinion but I would prefer any of these outcomes to Bowen.
