Apparently, no Dom and Mac Alister today not spotted at team hotel according to Liverpool sauce.

2

11 Oct 2026 13:37:53
Macca was already at the team hotel, so likely in squad. Not sure about Sobz.

0

11 Oct 2026 14:07:42
all comes from a video where the two weren't spotted at the otel this morning, lots of other payers weren't seen in the video, some arrived separately and at different times.

11 Oct 2026 14:10:34
Dom is out unfortunately. Carra on sly sports confirmed it. Wirtz, barcola and minor or koumas up front i suppose.

1

11 Oct 2026 14:13:32
I know we have injuries but I hope we don't resort to playing minors up front. I think they might struggle with the physicality of the pl.

1

11 Oct 2026 14:34:21
Did Carra say it? Not good. I feel like shock absentees happens us more than other teams.

0

11 Oct 2026 14:48:37
@kingkev have you got a link to see this? I'm hearing too many conflicting stuff.

0

11 Oct 2026 15:27:58
Just saw the BBC line up, all there in the stands.

0

11 Oct 2026 15:52:01
@redhorizon carra said it while being interviewed pitch side on sky sports.
Big loss without dom but excited to see koumas and munoz start.

Who Are the Two Mystery Groups Interested in Buying Everton?

11 Oct 2026 07:39:01
{Ed's Note - OptimumShots has posted a new article entitled, Who Are the Two Mystery Groups Interested in Buying Everton?

10 Oct 2026 20:41:43
Isak in the squad tomorrow. Looks like he'll play some part.

2

10 Oct 2026 20:56:16
Where did you see this?

0

10 Oct 2026 22:39:24
probably twitter, facebook, instagram, nothing on the LFC Channel.

3

10 Oct 2026 19:24:35
Henderson lighting it up for Chelsea today. I do think he was slightly rushed out of the club. I know it suited both parties for the £££, but imagine having him in our squad to bolster the midfield ranks.

I suppose that's the curse of the captaincy. It's easier to go and be a bit part elsewhere than it is to swallow your pride and become a squad player once you've had the armband.

5

10 Oct 2026 20:09:32
Wasn't pleasant seeing him pat the Chelsea badge on his chest when he scored, not going to lie.

16

10 Oct 2026 20:14:05
Wasn't it Hendo's decision to leave?

I'm not great at maths but today's the first game In over potentially hundred games since he's left that he's "so called lighting it up"

In those games that we have missed him we've also won a PL title.

16

10 Oct 2026 20:18:30
These h*es ain't loyal 🤣.

8

10 Oct 2026 20:51:48
England missed him at the World Cup, that's for sure. Injured himself celebrating.
He would have been good to have as an option to come on, sturdy the ship. Declan Rice missed a game because of an illness.

Well he was a good player for Liverpool.
Linked up well with all of our star players over the seasons, from Suarez and Gerrard to Firmino, Salah, Mane and Van Dijk.
He had a lot of attributes to his play, even if he didn't stand out as a great or exceptionally gifted player. He has good vision for passes, good ball control and dribbled pretty well. Good on and off the ball with a great communication style and leadership approach. A thoroughly good team player.

Hard working and honest type of player, like Milner. Players like these are essential for a good squad, even if they don't play every match.

6

10 Oct 2026 21:08:23
He was an excellent captain, miss his leadership.

16

10 Oct 2026 22:07:05
Alex Scott of Bournemouth never played today, out for circa one month with a thigh injury, not hard to tell who pulls the strings for Bournemouth!

Henderson's best football is behind him now, Alexis, Dominic, Ryan, Trey Nyoni were all signed by Jurgen to replace Henderson, they have also won one Premier League the same as Henderson their best football is still in front of them, the same as Wirtz (hopefully? or one hopes? )

4

10 Oct 2026 22:24:40
He had Caicedo doing all the running & shin kicking for him. He'd look rinsed in our midfield without that kind of support.

4

10 Oct 2026 22:34:49
Trey sadly never received a PL medal, never met the criteria, but he played in a Slot Premier League Winning team, which no one can take away from him, circa 6 games as a PL sub.

We are yet to win a home PL game this season? what an opportunity tomorrow!

2

11 Oct 2026 00:00:26
It ain't going to happen 007, sorry.

0

11 Oct 2026 01:55:31
Every now and then Harry let's the mask slip, this is one of those times.

3

https://www.rangersrumours.co.uk/images/Ed0041.png avatar{Ed666's Note - it cracks me up when you guys find Harry..how do you do it?

5

11 Oct 2026 03:10:34
@Harry, sorry @KBL, shouldn't you be focussed on getting ready for the North West Counties League next season with your team? Just give it a rest coming onto a site for a team you don't support and just repeating 'you aren't going to win' in slightly different ways.

Generally speaking, re Jordan Henderson, a very good player for us and an excellent captain but his legs had gone the season before he left. He is the past not the future and he is a useful player to have if you are winning but he isn't going to change a game these days if you're not winning.

3

11 Oct 2026 09:25:34
How many games has he lit up this season?
Let's see it in consecutive games 👍.

4

11 Oct 2026 07:14:48
To be honest Ed, he just kinda finds himself every now and again.

0

11 Oct 2026 08:25:08
Ed666. It's nasal instinct. Tested and refined over the last 15 years. You can smell him a mile away. 😂🤣😂.

0

https://www.rangersrumours.co.uk/images/Ed0041.png avatar{Ed666's Note - brilliant 😀

0

10 Oct 2026 19:13:10
Question about the rules as I watch a match right now. The red card for Betancur was obvious in my opinion. However, why wasn't the shove to the ground by Shaw also a red? I don't understand how that wasn't also violent conduct?

8

10 Oct 2026 19:25:45
Biggest refereeing issue this weekend is Michael Oliver being stood down under a bit of a cloud. Looks like £20'000 worth of Abu Dhabi chickens coming home to roost that always looked like corruption and hopefully he never referees a top flight game again, he'd be lucky to referee one in prison. And hopefully another nail in the Scamchester Cheaty coffin.

15

10 Oct 2026 22:18:25
Arsenal got away with murder today, a dive got them a free kick which not long after led to a goal, their defender had a Leeds lad pinned down in the box too.

Hopefully, it'll be in our favour tomorrow.

2

10 Oct 2026 22:32:19
A push is violent conduct? Why don't we just make football a non contact sport.

6

11 Oct 2026 02:29:10
Fifth Element - pushed a guy to the ground, after the whistle, away from the ball. Didn't have anything to do with the game as the play was dead. We can argue about what kind of physical act is violent or not, but for what purpose was Shaw's action?

Should have been a red card as well.

6

https://www.rangersrumours.co.uk/images/Ed0041.png avatar{Ed666's Note - what’s the point of VAR when you can spot blatant infringements and red cards like that? It was over use of force and should have been a red.

7

11 Oct 2026 07:12:43
@The Fifth Element that push was definitely violent if you did watch the incident at all. It is an utterly stupid rule that every push is deemed non-violent conduct.

1

10 Oct 2026 10:42:05
I haven't fact checked this, but funny all the same!

3

10 Oct 2026 11:19:57
Stupid statement, grouping promotion, play-off finals or even winning a Championship in with winning the likes of the PL title or FA Cup is ridiculous. I'd rather have won the Premiership once than get relegated and win the Championship 100 times over.

8

10 Oct 2026 11:47:11
Agree. What about all the clubs that have been relegated, including former champions, Blackburn and Leicester City.

1

10 Oct 2026 12:41:36
The point of the post is, every club's supporters have experienced the joy of success, be it a promotion, or whatever. Apart from Everton. Supporters joy of winning a league 2 promotion play-off, is every bit as special as winning the PL to the supporters involved.

23

10 Oct 2026 12:48:43
Thanks Rome, clearly chewy feels there's only teams supporting Premier League teams. It's a bit of banter lads chill out!

11

10 Oct 2026 12:55:07
Lighten up, Chewy.

12

10 Oct 2026 13:13:04
The point of the post is.. that it's obviously funny. Come on, lighten up lads..

9

10 Oct 2026 13:23:40
The lads put a post up saying he's not sure if true, but funny. people seem stressed out.

5

10 Oct 2026 14:40:16
But Everton haven't won the Premiership once, they've had nothing meaningful to celebrate since 1995, that's the whole point.

3

10 Oct 2026 14:58:22
🤣 Couldn't be more chill, you can share your opinions without worrying about my stresst levels lads! Like I did. The statement pointlessly groups incomparable achievements. I'd still rather have won the FA Cup in 95 than get relegated and promoted 10 times over. others may disagree, that's how opinions work.

Premier League/Old Div 1 = essentially the same thing in my book.

2

10 Oct 2026 15:27:23
Good trivia post avitohyes!

Might put that forward for one of the sport section questions in the "locals" quiz night!
Take no notice of Chewy - he's probably letting the tension of tomorrow's game get to him & disagrees with 99% of posters on here anyway.

1

10 Oct 2026 15:32:28
Not many clubs can compete with Everton's history.
Appreciate the banter but have to appreciate Everton's history too.

6

10 Oct 2026 15:37:52
I saw something related to this the other week, but it was simplified by just saying "since 1995 every club in the football league has had something to celebrate apart from Everton", which I thought was a bit unfair, because Everton have beaten Liverpool at least a couple of times since then, and that's like a trophy for them!

5

10 Oct 2026 16:26:50
Fully agree Ron, which is the core idea behind my post.

1

10 Oct 2026 19:29:08
To be fair, Everton did get Jack Grealish on a loan. Now if that's not something to celebrate I don't know what is.

2

10 Oct 2026 19:33:55
@Chewy, the only person talking about comparisons is you. That's fine but it's missing both the humour, at our nearest and dearest expense, and the fact that if you are a fan of, say, Lincoln then your team were promoted last season which is a great thing for the club and fans, nobody is saying it matches Arsenal's fans winning the PL ar the same time.

4

10 Oct 2026 20:10:19
Seems the joke went right over chewys head🤣. Oops.

4

10 Oct 2026 22:33:00
He's no Einstein is he?

5

11 Oct 2026 10:16:31
But the OP is about Everton since '95. Not Everton's history. It's the first sentence!
Everton fans would rather have won the FA Cup since 1995 but they haven't.

0

10 Oct 2026 14:24:04
Looks like a post just to poke ed025.
Everton are the club with the second longest stay in top flight football in this country only behind Arsenal 71 years.
Everton have had some very bad times recently surviving on the last day of the season a few times and tell me what is the difference if that feeling as to wining a cup or getting promoted I can't imagine how that feels because as a Liverpool fan in my lifetime it's not something we have been involved in but but the stress Everton fans must have felt going into the final game and then get out of it am guessing that's feels like a relief more fantastic than most feelings in football.

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - it’s certainly exciting Grino but I’m sure you would not like to be in that position mate..

0

10 Oct 2026 15:01:40
31 years of pain and misery.
It's a tough job being a blue like.
Ed025 how's things, who's going to be the next owners at the HD?
I hear there is a group from Abu Dhabi looking to Sportwash some Dirhams.

0

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - it’s certainly exciting has been tough Hughesy and I would love new owners who would pump lots of money in mate. I don’t mind if the want to sports wash myself…as long as they don’t get caught 🤣..

0

10 Oct 2026 09:05:23
Vs City, I'd want to see Koumas, Munoz, Wirtz and Szboszlai pressing from the front. Dom in the ten, Flo in the false 9.

We can hound City into submission.

5

10 Oct 2026 11:05:47
I don't think your proposed forward line would would hound anyone, Spanish. Have you forgot about Barcola?

6

10 Oct 2026 12:02:37
Barcola has done nothing to show he's built for this league yet and should be bedded in Klopp style. slowly.

4

10 Oct 2026 12:36:31
I reckon Iraola may disagree with you and Barcola starts tomorrow. We've been bedding in Wirtz for 15 months.

6

https://www.rangersrumours.co.uk/images/Ed0041.png avatar{Ed666's Note - Barcola has to start. What we lose in goal scoring threat with Isak and to a lesser degree with Cody we have to make up for in pace & guile. Barcola is a tremendous presser and he seems like a nice guy I’d be made up if he was MOM and scored a couple of goals.

20

10 Oct 2026 13:30:19
Good to hear from you FSW it's been a long time!

1

10 Oct 2026 13:34:50
When did Koumas do his bedding in to the PL to earn his start?

3

10 Oct 2026 13:41:25
Koumas has the infectious energy that we have been missing at times.
Honestly, Darwin brought more to this side than Isak has so far - in my humble opinion, and Koumas has some of that about him. He may not score but he allows others space through his hard work.

I imagine everyone here is right though and that Barcola will start, with Wirtz up top and Munoz on the right.

The way Klopp bedded players in was sensible. No other league is anything like this one.

1

10 Oct 2026 14:00:10
FYI see Barcola's recent comments -

"The big difference is that Ligue 1 is very physical. There are lots of strong players who use their physicality.

"But here, I would say it's more physical in terms of the running you have to do. The games are end-to-end. I find it is less tactical than it is in Ligue 1.

"It's a lot of running. That's why in my first few matches, I've been getting cramps. It's all because the intensity is so high.

1

10 Oct 2026 14:04:11
Koumas has played 22 mins of PL football this season. Yes he's had energy but you'd expect any player who plays 4% of the season to look energetic.

As far as Darwin goes it shows everyone sees the game differently.

2

10 Oct 2026 14:26:39
For gawd sake, Nunez is still getting a mention.

7

10 Oct 2026 15:36:11
Mo Salah name-checked Darwin as being an important part of his output, Rome. That is the point.

You can't have a team of Galacticos, at least not in the Prem, in my opinion.

Koumas is not afraid of the dirty work, and I believe that we need to show more grit.

1

10 Oct 2026 16:15:50
I don't want a team of Galacticos, Spanish. I've spent the last 15 months slagging off Wirtz. I obviously respect what Salah said about Nunez. Me, as a supporter, I thought he was a headless chicken, who never understood offside. No one wants him now, which says it all.

Regards to Koumas, I hope, if he plays, he's MOTM. However, I want to see more from someone who plays down the middle, him just doing the dirty work. My expectations maybe higher than yours, Spanish.

6

10 Oct 2026 17:11:50
The team has been a mess since Klopp left, other than for half a season under Slot, and so has the squad building.

Andoni is picking up the pieces and can now build a side in his own vision, rather than Edwards'.

Edwards was pulling most of the strings behind the curtain. While Hughes influenced a couple of signings, he was nowhere near as important as it may have looked from the outside.

After everything that has happened, I'm glad to see some cohesion and consistency under Andoni. I genuinely believe this could be the start of a new golden age. Youth players will blossom, perhaps even more so than under Jürgen, who had other limitations to work with.

Some may be surprised by the type of players Andoni goes for, but he has an eye for a player. I think we'll start to see a much clearer identity emerge as he shapes the squad around his own ideas.

2

10 Oct 2026 21:27:17
Jesus we still pining over ex players, they have gone, get over it there gone now.

1

https://www.rangersrumours.co.uk/images/Ed0041.png avatar{Ed666's Note - I still miss David Speedie

1

11 Oct 2026 03:16:08
For me it's Jimmy Carter @666.

He was quite literally irreplaceable. The most inept footballer ever to play for us in my 60 years watching the club.

0

https://www.rangersrumours.co.uk/images/Ed0041.png avatar{Ed666's Note - mate I was trying to remember his name earlier but couldn’t. What was Kenny doing signing him???

0

10 Oct 2026 22:52:48
I still pine for Jimmy Carter, Ed.

0

https://www.rangersrumours.co.uk/images/Ed0041.png avatar{Ed666's Note - I was gonna say Carter also but couldn’t remember his name so I opted for Speedie! I can’t believe some fans don’t want us to sign Olise when we had to put up with signings like Jimmy friggin Carter..

10 Oct 2026 04:23:58
Just wanted to wish our right and honorable freind Ed025 good luck with hearing Everton is going up for ale. We hope you get a solid ownership in this time mate. It's what's best for the league and city. All the best, YNWA, KCD.

2

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - cheers KCD. It’s always one step forward two steps back with us mate. But we live in hope..

2

10 Oct 2026 09:14:35
One or two pints should be enough 😀.

4

10 Oct 2026 10:15:36
The Bitters going up for ale.

6

10 Oct 2026 14:43:28
Everton bitter ale sounds fantastic.

0

10 Oct 2026 08:38:23
Ed0025 from a very reliable source of mine I've heard a local fan who has recently won on the lottery has put in a bid to buy the club.

Apparently he's said if he wins another tenner next week he'll also look to buy you a new striker.

0

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - good stuff JK..

0

10 Oct 2026 11:47:54
City might lose their owners Ed25.fancy them as your owners maybe???

0

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - all day for me JLC. I don’t have many scruples these days mate 🤣..

0

09 Oct 2026 08:37:51
Everton for sale don't sound to promising ed025 does it. Great club but some poor owners through the years.

1

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - we have had some shockers over the years Coul. We just have to hope we get the right one next time mate. Being an evertonian has never been easy..

5

10 Oct 2026 09:41:43
It's a very quick buy and sell it seems Ed025. Did they just come in because of the stadium, so that they could flip the club for a quick buck?

0

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - it certainly looks that way Taurus..
