I think Everton started to get better the minute Moshiri ‘left the building’. From both the perspective as a city and as a rival in the league I think it’s brilliant. I’d love to see us and Everton battling it out for honours every season. Sorry for being old school but there was a time when it was like that and we even let Evertonians come to the match with us. Anybody who disagrees is obviously entitled to their own view but I’ll bet you have never been to, or have no allegiance with, the city of Liverpool.

WDW may be patronising but there is no lie in what he said. Everton and Liverpool have historically been like siblings and it's not uncommon for there to both be blues and reds within the same nuclear family. That's why tragedies like Hillsborough hit the city hard. It's only in recent times where tribalism is encouraged did we start seeing the ugliness that we are witnessing today.

I agree with that Dacer but his posts quite often come across as patronising. I remember the days of reds and blues sitting together but unfortunately those days are over. It will never be the same unfortunately and football generally has changed massively and not for the better.

I’ve been feeling like it looks a bit bigger lately and a bit more congested, especially on longer posts. Line spacing seems tighter too, maybe that’s why.

Anyone else noticing this?

Yes, i did increase the font size, but i didn't increase the line spacing. I'll increase the line spacing a bit.

Too late Ed025 mate Im ambidextrous and have huge callouses on both hands and both are seized up with arthritis so id struggle to get a boxing gloves on either hand. Thankfully the wife takes pity on me from time to time well month to month mate 🤣🤣.

Ed033, the editors text us now the same colour as the posters. Is this a permanent thing? Personally, I prefer the contrasting colours as I tend to scroll and look out for editors responses.

Its all my fault this recent slum. I jinxed everything 4 matches back. We just welcomed our first child into the family. Little future lfc left back named séamie. Obviously the first thing was nailing his allegiance down by putting an lfc jersey on him- and this was done post haste and we got a win, but through unfortunate circumstances I wasn't able to get the jersey on him for the last 3 matches and a jinx was created. My bad guys. let's call it sleep deprivation. let's call it projectile fluids all over the place. However, come sunday I will endeavour to rectify this travesty going forward and put us back on track.

When we won the double . my mate had bought a small Liverpool badge what he wore halfway through the season but the next 3 games we were poor results wise n he blamed the badge he bought he gave it to me . n we more or less won most games after that . all my mates at the match was saying you got ya badge on bfr the game started . mad how lil superstitions go but I believe it helped us win the double n no one can convince me otherwise.

Yeah i prefer the real ales that weatherspoons do. And also coz I work nights the one in lime St Station comes in handy coz it serves beer from 8 am so I can get an after work pint which helps knock me out until the kids get home from school. Still less than 2 quid a pint most of them as well.

{Ed078's Note - just got back to Aus from Cambodia where a 500ml beer was $1 US. Paying about 6 pound here.
