We don't need him badly - we need him good!

I think you'll find that he has scored two penalties one against Huddersfield Town last season and the other against Red Star at Anfield this season.

I actually watched the game and as usual is was a backpass, a swagger, another backpass. He had a great opportunity to pass a ball forward to Mane in an excellent attacking position and he passed it sideways. He is noted for all the passes he makes in a match but sadly most of them are back to the player who gave him the ball. to use a modern expression - "He is no longer fit for purpose" in this Liverpool side!

You may have seen my comment early on in the match about Henderson's back-passing. He has absolutely no place in this Liverpool side, but I think that he was very unlucky to receive his first yellow card as the free-kick should have been given to him for the shirt-tugging of the Watford player. Still, we have to accept all blessings however they may come!

There's no doubt that Paisley was greater. His problem was that he was a modest man at a club that didn't have the same glamour as m.u. I remember as a young man that he was regarded as the real power behind the throne during the Shankly reign. The fact that he was never awarded a knighthood while Jack Charlton and Bobby Robson were is one of the greatest anomalies of football awards.

Two of those draws were also away from home and all three were against teams playing at the top of their game! You could actually say that Chelsea and Arsenal are playing above themselves at the moment! Liverpool have not yet reached the level that we expect and are still above last season's begin.

Last season - 11, 5, 4, 2, 21, 17 Points 19. This season - 11, 8, 3, 0, 20, 5, Points 27. The holy trinity (last season first) - Salah 7-5, Mané 3-6, Firmino 3-2. Last season at this time we had 0 points against City and Spurs (9 goals against! ), 3 against Arsenal, and 1 against Arriva Buses! Let's not forget that Citeh can continue playing well but if we win all our games WE WILL be CHAMPIONS!
