Feyenoord won their first Dutch title since 1999 thanks to captain Dirk Kuyt's hat-trick in their win over Heracles Almelo on the final day.
Well done Dirk - a great effort as Captain of the team. YNWA.

Well done to him and Brad Jones. They are both like Crouch, welcome at Anfield anytime.

Well done Rafa.

Wish Rafa wins PL with a good team.

He would have ECL, EL, Chapionship, Spanish league, .

Here we go again. Is it just a perception but do we seem to always cop for playing teams who have just sacked a manager and now have a new one? Had a lot of sympathy for Leicester but now feel none - we need the points and I hope we batter them. It might now be a bit harder to achieve with the 'new boss' boost they might get. Or maybe not ;-)

Ranieri got the sack?

2.) 23 Feb 2017 23:05:50
Yes he has and it's a disgrace.

3.) 24 Feb 2017 13:02:54
It's easy to say that now but frankly, he was getting them nowhere fast and this, since the very first game of the season vs Hull. I will say that his star players have been dreadful, so have been his signings, all who have let him down phenomenally.

Nice bauble for Lallana - just reflects his value to us now and how much we miss him when he's out of the side.

It's very amusing watching the 'build them up, knock them down' behaviour from in particular the gutter press. Astonishing success to deepest despair. We have been missing Hendo, Mane and Lallana in recent matches and it shows. So we 'concentrate on the league' - isn't that how it goes? So let's see the real Liverpool back against chelski and get our push back on track.

That's the spirit!

2.) 29 Jan 2017 14:18:17
Yes nd allways stay positive never stop believing! :)

3.) 30 Jan 2017 16:32:53
Spot on, . They always need someone to build up and then tear down. They built up Pep as the revolutionary and for a long time, always hesitated to critique him cos well, they bring down who they want to. Same with Conte. After their losses to us and Arsenal, Conte was being hammered and put under pressure.

As for Klopp, they built him up and then now that he`s struggling, they tear him down and even when we turn it around, they`ll still not stop the veiled jibes at him. Mou has Utd in 6th literally the whole season BUT they still crowing about some unbeaten run that has no impact cos their stuck in neutral. Had that been Klopp stuck in neutral like that, we wouldn`t hear the last of it. The media will always do what they do so we move on.

Don't always agree with the Eds but 001 is quite correct that Souness was a better player than Gerrard. If there was one difference, Souness had a finely tuned machine of a team around him, Gerrard most of the time did not. We have been fortunate to have some of the greatest players wear our shirts and it's great occasionally to savour their contributions.

{Ed001's Note - I think that was Gerrard's biggest problem, because he didn't have that team of greats around him to keep him on the ground as one of the team, rather than the saviour. When he did have quality around him, he was a much better player.}

And while he will always be King Kenny, Sir Kenny would be a long overdue recognition.

Pretty much the other results were as good as they could be. Now the trick is to make sure we play with skill and determination and take advantage of our fortune. We need a top class display from the team.

Can hardly believe you are asking this question. He's a starter no problem. He has done a very good job in the main this season; a real missing piece of the jigsaw. Maybe even this generation's Ray Kennedy, and from me that is praise indeed.

{Ed025's Note - your setting the bar very high there ND, ray kennedy was a fantastic player and i dont think wiji has done anything yet to be compared to the great man yet mate..
