Sly reporting £5million offer for Lucas accepted from Lazio. Subject to personal terms and medical.

1.) 14 Jul 2017 19:10:55
Lazio will be getting a great deal. Very sorry to see him go, he seemed a great professional and role model. Very best of luck Lucas.

2.) 14 Jul 2017 21:14:21
If he leave then he leaves with my full blessing. What a fantastic servant of the club both on and off the pitch.

YNWA Lucas

So Solanke to sign for us, who won't extend Chelski contract. Anyone seen him play? Is he any good?

1.) 30 May 2017 14:28:09
He is one of the brightest talents in English football, have broken all sorts of records scoring goals for chelsea's youth teams.

2.) 30 May 2017 16:28:46
Like Carra did when he was a lad :D.

3.) 30 May 2017 18:46:03
Maybe he's the answer to our centre back problems?

Feyenoord won their first Dutch title since 1999 thanks to captain Dirk Kuyt's hat-trick in their win over Heracles Almelo on the final day.
Well done Dirk - a great effort as Captain of the team. YNWA.

Well done to him and Brad Jones. They are both like Crouch, welcome at Anfield anytime.

07 May 2017 14:05:19
Well done Rafa.

1.) 07 May 2017 15:59:04
Wish Rafa wins PL with a good team.

He would have ECL, EL, Chapionship, Spanish league, .

Here we go again. Is it just a perception but do we seem to always cop for playing teams who have just sacked a manager and now have a new one? Had a lot of sympathy for Leicester but now feel none - we need the points and I hope we batter them. It might now be a bit harder to achieve with the 'new boss' boost they might get. Or maybe not ;-)

1.) 23 Feb 2017 20:22:33
Ranieri got the sack?

2.) 23 Feb 2017 23:05:50
Yes he has and it's a disgrace.

3.) 24 Feb 2017 13:02:54
It's easy to say that now but frankly, he was getting them nowhere fast and this, since the very first game of the season vs Hull. I will say that his star players have been dreadful, so have been his signings, all who have let him down phenomenally.

Can only thank him for his efforts and wish him well for the future. Not many players get to complete 10 years at the club. YNWA.

The nasty streak he showed in the derby, when he should have been sent off? No thanks, let somebody else pay an inflated fee for him. Nowhere near better than our current squad.

Don't always agree with the Eds but 001 is quite correct that Souness was a better player than Gerrard. If there was one difference, Souness had a finely tuned machine of a team around him, Gerrard most of the time did not. We have been fortunate to have some of the greatest players wear our shirts and it's great occasionally to savour their contributions.

{Ed001's Note - I think that was Gerrard's biggest problem, because he didn't have that team of greats around him to keep him on the ground as one of the team, rather than the saviour. When he did have quality around him, he was a much better player.}
