BBC reported today that Sterling has been left out on tour.
Is there any agreement reached btwn LFC and Man City?

mcheshi

1.) 12 Jul 2015 13:58:50
they are in advanced talks

2.) 12 Jul 2015 14:05:34
Wish they would hurry up and sell him as long as we don't waste the money

3.) 12 Jul 2015 15:24:14
I'm sure the powers that be finally realised that the "magical" £50 Million offer they wanted (or hoped for) was never going to materialise, thus the inevitable sale had to take place now or run the risk of "losing" an "asset" further down the line for far less.

The player had again shown his hand this week, even if we kept him, and Rodgers naively played him, I doubt he would have tried one iota unlike Suarez.

Deep down I like Sterling, but for the greater good of the Club he had to go and I;m glad he is taking that parasitic, poor excuse for an agent with him . I might be totally wrong, but in years to come I think he will regret the whole sage.

4.) 12 Jul 2015 15:34:43
I wonder what he will say about LFC once he has left; I doubt somehow there will be any fondness for the club like there has been from Suarez, and even Torres.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think we should be surprised.

5.) 12 Jul 2015 17:18:07
No £50 million - then no sale, I hope FSG stick to their guns.

6.) 12 Jul 2015 17:24:12
Spot on, Guru! The 50m price tag was a pipe dream and I will be surprised if it is indeed that price but I'm open to being proven wrong

7.) 12 Jul 2015 18:10:42
£49 MILLION agreed . probably £44 or £45 with add ons! (don't forget the fee we have to pay QPR)

If we are really interested in Pedro than I think Chelsea's "sniffing" may have contributed slightly in the change of stance and the agreed sale.

If so recruitment team has no meaning, the lad is too old now,

If we loose Can, in my opinion is to buy back Jonjo Shelvey.
He is a cracking middle we have just missing.

mcheshi

{Ed001's Note - god no.}

1.) 04 Nov 2017 16:47:12
I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.

2.) 04 Nov 2017 16:47:15
Dear god no.

3.) 04 Nov 2017 16:52:57
Fair enough fans have opinion but that is just laughable.

4.) 04 Nov 2017 16:59:02
Please tell me you're taking the piss.

5.) 04 Nov 2017 19:51:41
If Shelvey can calm his temperament then just could be.

{Ed001's Note - just could be what? Lazy?}

6.) 04 Nov 2017 20:01:35
That's a joke, right?

7.) 04 Nov 2017 20:24:20
What are u smoking over there! The only positive thing I can say about shelvey is that he has a good right foot.

8.) 04 Nov 2017 20:31:19
Good gosh! Hey while we are at it we may as well re sign Charlie Adam too!

9.) 04 Nov 2017 23:20:43
Get off this site Jonjo.

10.) 04 Nov 2017 23:27:34
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. unless they suggest we sign Jonjo Shelvey. Mcheshi you are hearby banned from having an opinion as you obviously can’t be trusted with it. 😉.

11.) 04 Nov 2017 21:50:55
Ed do u think grujic will ever be good enough he has all attributes of can and more very tall, eye for goal, passing is quality, technically very good I would hate him too leave without getting a chance I got a feeling he could b another suso pogba de brunye lukaku who slipped the net.

{Ed001's Note - I am not convinced by him at all yet, though I do believe he suffers because he tries too hard when he does get chances, so I am not judging him until he gets a proper chance. However, I don't think he has done anything to suggest he deserves more game time, even less to suggest he would be a mistake to move on. I have seen nothing of those qualities in him at all.}

12.) 05 Nov 2017 06:26:58
Yeah let's buy Shelvey and bench Keita 😂.

Marvelous, Fantastic victory and display and difending.
Well done lfc.

I think Gomez should continue to play at right back than central defender.
Judged by the way he play against Palace.
He played well and showed a lot of improvement.

mcheshi

1.) 21 Aug 2017 17:14:01
I'd rather TAA as he gives us a good dead ball taker. Haven't seen a corner like that in ages and his free kick against Hoffenheim was superb, if anything I'd like Gomes alongside Matip.

2.) 21 Aug 2017 17:14:53
No. that position should be TAA's.
He lacks the attacking instinct and the ability to whip in a deadly cross.

3.) 21 Aug 2017 17:32:44
That position is TAA's to lose, right now. Gomez is very promising and was more than solid vs CP even tho, our FB's were not all that tested. Still, a good showing can only help.

4.) 21 Aug 2017 17:37:44
TAA all the way! The last thing he need is to be pegged back! Gomez I suspect will end up either being sold or loaned!

5.) 21 Aug 2017 18:14:14
Both are young and need games.
I would give the position to TAA with Gomez rotated in through the season when needed for fitness or if a more defensive minded player will be needed against certain opposition.
With Gomez being deployed as cover for RB and CB he would get plenty of game time through the season.

6.) 21 Aug 2017 21:05:52
I don't think the right back slot is TAA's to lose at all, but I think he is the long term solution at right back. When Clyne is fit I fully expect him to play a load more games than TAA there this year, probably next season too. I rate TAA highly but you don't just drop an experienced international defender for a kid who is still learning. He'll be integrated more and more and shielded from some of the fans who are so quick to tear apart the confidence of a kid who is just developing. Gomez, for me, is a centre half but as he lacks top level experience there and has been introduced in full back positions to get some experience. He won't become a full back for me, he'll be a centre half and brought in in cup games etc and perhaps deputising in a few PL games to give our first choice pair a rest as the schedule gets busier.

7.) 22 Aug 2017 10:45:55
Disagree completely Gmac I think you play the player most suited to the position, most suited to the team, in the best form. TAA is that player. Clyne was poor for large parts of last season and proved his inability to attack with any sort of cutting edge - and his defending is by no means good enough for him to start ahead of TAA. I would expect TAA to start the majority of games this season (unless he suffers a catastrophic loss of confidence or form) because, quite simply, he is better.

Who is next after Salah?

mcheshi

1.) 20 Jun 2017 19:29:00
Can's new contract?

2.) 20 Jun 2017 21:12:02
a left back .

3.) 20 Jun 2017 21:16:56
Any player or coaching staff to a fan.

4.) 20 Jun 2017 21:25:02
Complete left field signing for me.

08 Jun 2017 17:36:43
I think LFC should go Gelson Martins insted of Salah.
The guy is too fast for any defender and very tirck.

mcheshi

1.) 08 Jun 2017 17:53:12
Yeah. I prefer him too. ok, I only watched him on youtube, but I was more impressed with his YT video than Salah's YT vid. Gelson wins YT wars.

2.) 08 Jun 2017 18:07:41
Salah has done it in a tougher league and has more end product. Gelson was playing in the equivalent of th Championship.

3.) 08 Jun 2017 18:12:25
Ed002 has mentioned that many cs have walked away from Gelson because of what his club requires financially.

Let's just put Gelson out there as another player we missed out on. Markovic MK2.

4.) 08 Jun 2017 18:13:36
Salah all day for me. Gelson seems a decent player with good pace and will improve with years to come but right now i'd question his end product and goal return. Especially in a bog standard league like the one he's playing in right now.

5.) 08 Jun 2017 18:20:54
He looks like the player adama traore should be.

6.) 08 Jun 2017 18:36:26
Gelson Martins is no more ready for the PL than Markovic was when we signed him and will be more than double his transfer fee. No thanks.

Salah is ready for the PL now, wants to come and Roma will do the deal at the right price. Liverpool need to show that they can act professionally and get the player their manager wants.

7.) 08 Jun 2017 19:57:14
As Ed002 would say, we know what we need to do.

With Robertson is LFC upgrading defence or downgrading its defence?
He is not going to improve.

Price is nothing if he is a good player that can help LFC to win titles.
You criticezed the price about Mane now he is lFC key player.
It seemed like you want a cheap player who can not help team.
If Klopps think that the player will help the team win premier league title then buy the player.
We have been waiting for premier league title for 27 yrs now, don't out an excuse over rated price thing.

mcheshi

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool have a lot of debt and are restricted in respect of how much they can spend without brining in money from sales.}

If Cout love so much Barcelona he shouldn't sign for lfc in first place.
Remember if u will allow Cout to go becouse of his behavior, that will influence other player to do the same in next window.
LFC cannot bo forced sell any player, that message should understood to all players.
If u want to compete we have hold on to our key players.
We have to build our own team not Barca.

We must keep him otherwise other lfc player will copy what Cout doing and do the same next windows.
Those who want Cout to leave they have thier own agenda to weaken the team so that will fail to compete for title.

Well said Anonymous.
This is not about bad coaching.
Entire lfc staffs are to blame as it seened like they don't want the team to win.
Everytime team want to challenge for a title these things happen.
They want to put blame on a coacher.
They should feel ashamed.
