Nunes looks decent whenever I've seen him play but not sure he's the answer. On tonight's performance we need a lot more than 1 midfielder. We have been awful all season. Something has to change but maybe klopp is to stubborn.

Is a world class coach not supposed to improve the team through coaching? In fact the players look and play like they don't know what they are doing, or supposed to do. Maybe its the Ljinders thing but who knows.

{Ed025's Note - we dont know the whole story though patty, who,s to say hes not had a say or given the funds to upgrade the midfield?, hes not going to go public and slate the owners but i cant see a manager of his calibre not being able to see where the problems lie mate..

The Matteus Nunes story is apparently that FSG don’t believe they can compete for Bellingham and they see Nunes as a viable cheap alternative next summer. Which sounds about true.

I can’t see why all of a sudden our midfield looks like championship level? Everyone looks like they’ve lost a good are or 2 and is just no fight there other than maybe Thiago who huffs and puffs. Any ideas where we go from here ed001?

Well if it is not happening then we will be in for rough time. He is too stubborn and too loyal to his players. And he need to admit that we play like s*it instead of blaming in on referees.

He says we need to sell players to raise cash to buy players. Then do that instead of letting them leave for free. Can, Gini, Lallana, Origi and now Firmino, Keita and Ox to follow. Our squad planning for past few years has been horrible.

Sorry ED, little bit of rant here. Feeling bit p. off with the club.

Blaming Klopp when the owners have let the side burn out? I feel for Elliott as he is being made a scapegoat now, is clearly not the type of midfielder Gini was but we have reverted to high full backs, with no cover and the stupid high line which is exposed every time, we changed formation and it worked, hoping Gakpo brings something with him as that midfield is done.

I agree with that Ed he’s not stupid but he is very very stubborn. To continue the high line with this squad will never work.

{Ed025's Note - imo mark pep has got too much input and is the reason for the change in style. For me you need the press back but you may need a couple brought in for that to happen mate..
