Not even angry anymore, it's what we've come to expect now under Slot.
04 Apr 2026 15:38:02
I don't know what to say about that game to be fair, it's the same problems we have every game, repeated over and over again. Not clinical in the attacking third, and braindead in the defending third, we're just that bad in both boxes in critical moments. If we had gone ahead early on, it would have been a different game, but we play like we're going to get 50 chances against one of the better teams in Europe, it's just not going to happen, and then we invite their dangerous players to pick a pass in dangerous areas.
Prime Salah would have made a massive difference, as would prime Van Dijk. Both were just horrific when it counted.

Not really angry at Slot anymore per se. It is the person or persons who decided to keep him until the end of the season. I am pissed with the person or persons right now, and I think that person(s) should follow Slot out the door if he eventually gets sacked.

Tired of saying it every week but it's getting ridiculous now, he has to go, at least an interim might give us a bounce before Wednesday.
No more chances. Fans were leaving with 30 left. Enough's enough.
04 Apr 2026 14:41:33
Slob should take the pens Salah as lost it.
04 Apr 2026 15:37:16
I'd miss on purpose too to get the manager out

Don't worry about today's result lads. At least we can rest in the knowledge of having Slot until the end of the season.
04 Apr 2026 14:38:00
Good job, I am 46 today and not 16, because LFC getting pumped does not effect my mood too much!
Apathy has genuinely set in for me after I witnessed LFC draw with Burnley in January if not the Forest mauling a few weeks prior!
Squad and Slot going through the motions!

I can take a defeat, I can take multiple defeats & I can take having poor seasons - we've all witnessed those, but the level of performance, desire & pride is nothing short of a disgrace & I'm pinning that on the players as much as Slot!
That was a decent side that went out there today and as much as what I said above I stick by these players, are not having him!!
It's been blindingly obvious for everyone to see, and that fact alone warranted a change months ago.
For reports saying FSG are sticking by him, surely is utter nonsense!
Mind you nothing would suprise me!

I guess when you have no expectations then you don't get irritated as easily. We were crap, who knew. 🤷♂️

How can it be a motivated group if everyone knows the outcome in summer? Do it now, and at least give another person the chance to arrest this slump.

Working, so missed the game but managed to watch up until the fateful penalty, though we played alright until then. As soon as that went in, knew it was a lost cause, switched off and went back to work. Thought it would end 3-0 but obvs we were even worse than I predicted. This team could learn a thing or two from my lads under 13's who never give up the fight and give it their all.
Actually, prefer watching them, they play with some spirit, move the ball quickly, give it 100% and do it for love of the game, not as it would appear now just the £££'s from our so called hero's.

If they did not sack him the 15 other times they should have, I don't see them doing it now.
04 Apr 2026 15:03:24
On a positive note there's less games we have to suffer till the end of the season.

I've been fair to the manager so far, but that loss was hard to take. The club needs to be brave and appoint an impact interim manager, otherwise we're almost guaranteed a repeat on Wednesday.

Just won't happen unless PSG pump us. Then there is no point. This team is fragile and needs a reset, and this can't be done in this time period. Maybe a couple of game bumps from Gerrard to get us in the Champions League positions.
They played ok for 30 mins today, conceded, then gave up. VVD crying and shaking his head just breeds weakness through the team.
We just need to take our medicine and get the season done.

The season is over anyway. We may as well adopt the passiveness of the owners who clearly don't care.

Did Virgil really cry? Jaysis ... Captain material he is not.

{Ed001's Note - I spent most of the match wondering where the f he was.}

What a disappointment, I know I shouldn't have got my hopes up. I hate that we sit off now, it's the biggest change that I just can't get behind or understand. I wanted to give Slot the benefit of the doubt, he delivered last year, but I just can't tolerate this dross any longer.
We were spoilt under Klopp, but all we want is that energy and commitment. Many fans had a pop at players like Darwin, but at least he gave it his all. I think FSG need to have a real clear out, Edwards, Hughes and Slot all need to go.
04 Apr 2026 15:10:11
The irony that selling Darwin is looking more and more like a massive mistake.
Agree4
04 Apr 2026 15:49:19
No, it's not a mistake. He wasn't that good and he'd make zero difference anyway in this set up.
Agree1
04 Apr 2026 16:10:43
Selling Darwin was not a mistake, he's just not clinical enough and can't stay onside.
Recruitment has unbalanced the squad, and, with a huge dollop of hindsight, we should have let Salah go last summer. I don't blame anyone for the Salah decision, it was totally logical, but I do think recruitment has been less than good.
Agree0
04 Apr 2026 16:23:36
I don't. We're not moving the ball quick enough to find onside players, let alone offside players.
Agree0
04 Apr 2026 17:03:44
Agree to disagree then. Our tactical set up is slow and predictable, and our players, either through mental weakness or lack of management, look fragile. More than anything else, what this squad needs a bit of fight and a bit of unpredictability. For all his faults, Nunez had both in spades and would not be lying down right now.
That's why the crowd loved him.
Don't get me wrong, I thought it was right to move him on, same as most. All I'm saying though is, had I known what was coming this season, I would have wanted him to stay and lead the line. Hindsight though is a wonderful thing.

ED01, we're in serious trouble. Do you think they'll pull the trigger after this, like later or tomorrow? . I know they should! Just your opinion please. Thanks.
{Ed001's Note - I wish they would, but no, I think they will hang on at least until after the PSG game.}
04 Apr 2026 15:19:32
I fear you are right Ed001. Utterly spineless allowing all the hard work done by their predessessors be undone in 18 months. Appalling management of the club and the team.

He's not getting sacked so don't bother asking!
04 Apr 2026 14:59:09
He won't be sacked we know that now but we are not hanging onto 5th place either, that's a big concern for attracting big managers or players for next season.
