Good job, I am 46 today and not 16, because LFC getting pumped does not effect my mood too much!

Apathy has genuinely set in for me after I witnessed LFC draw with Burnley in January if not the Forest mauling a few weeks prior!

Squad and Slot going through the motions!

Happy birthday, lad.

I can take a defeat, I can take multiple defeats & I can take having poor seasons - we've all witnessed those, but the level of performance, desire & pride is nothing short of a disgrace & I'm pinning that on the players as much as Slot!
That was a decent side that went out there today and as much as what I said above I stick by these players, are not having him!!
It's been blindingly obvious for everyone to see, and that fact alone warranted a change months ago.

For reports saying FSG are sticking by him, surely is utter nonsense!
Mind you nothing would suprise me!

I guess when you have no expectations then you don't get irritated as easily. We were crap, who knew. 🤷‍♂️

How can it be a motivated group if everyone knows the outcome in summer? Do it now, and at least give another person the chance to arrest this slump.

Working, so missed the game but managed to watch up until the fateful penalty, though we played alright until then. As soon as that went in, knew it was a lost cause, switched off and went back to work. Thought it would end 3-0 but obvs we were even worse than I predicted. This team could learn a thing or two from my lads under 13's who never give up the fight and give it their all.

Actually, prefer watching them, they play with some spirit, move the ball quickly, give it 100% and do it for love of the game, not as it would appear now just the £££'s from our so called hero's.

Happy Birthday mate.

If they did not sack him the 15 other times they should have, I don't see them doing it now.

04 Apr 2026 15:03:24
On a positive note there's less games we have to suffer till the end of the season.

3

04 Apr 2026 15:05:37
I've been fair to the manager so far, but that loss was hard to take. The club needs to be brave and appoint an impact interim manager, otherwise we're almost guaranteed a repeat on Wednesday.

04 Apr 2026 15:09:46
Just won't happen unless PSG pump us. Then there is no point. This team is fragile and needs a reset, and this can't be done in this time period. Maybe a couple of game bumps from Gerrard to get us in the Champions League positions.

They played ok for 30 mins today, conceded, then gave up. VVD crying and shaking his head just breeds weakness through the team.

We just need to take our medicine and get the season done.

1

04 Apr 2026 15:15:22
The season is over anyway. We may as well adopt the passiveness of the owners who clearly don't care.

3

04 Apr 2026 15:48:50
Did Virgil really cry? Jaysis ... Captain material he is not.

What a disappointment, I know I shouldn't have got my hopes up. I hate that we sit off now, it's the biggest change that I just can't get behind or understand. I wanted to give Slot the benefit of the doubt, he delivered last year, but I just can't tolerate this dross any longer.

We were spoilt under Klopp, but all we want is that energy and commitment. Many fans had a pop at players like Darwin, but at least he gave it his all. I think FSG need to have a real clear out, Edwards, Hughes and Slot all need to go.

9

04 Apr 2026 15:10:11
The irony that selling Darwin is looking more and more like a massive mistake.

4

04 Apr 2026 15:49:19
No, it's not a mistake. He wasn't that good and he'd make zero difference anyway in this set up.

1

04 Apr 2026 16:10:43
Selling Darwin was not a mistake, he's just not clinical enough and can't stay onside.

Recruitment has unbalanced the squad, and, with a huge dollop of hindsight, we should have let Salah go last summer. I don't blame anyone for the Salah decision, it was totally logical, but I do think recruitment has been less than good.

0

04 Apr 2026 16:23:36
I don't. We're not moving the ball quick enough to find onside players, let alone offside players.

0

04 Apr 2026 17:03:44
Agree to disagree then. Our tactical set up is slow and predictable, and our players, either through mental weakness or lack of management, look fragile. More than anything else, what this squad needs a bit of fight and a bit of unpredictability. For all his faults, Nunez had both in spades and would not be lying down right now.

That's why the crowd loved him.
Don't get me wrong, I thought it was right to move him on, same as most. All I'm saying though is, had I known what was coming this season, I would have wanted him to stay and lead the line. Hindsight though is a wonderful thing.

ED01, we're in serious trouble. Do you think they'll pull the trigger after this, like later or tomorrow? . I know they should! Just your opinion please. Thanks.

5

04 Apr 2026 15:19:32
I fear you are right Ed001. Utterly spineless allowing all the hard work done by their predessessors be undone in 18 months. Appalling management of the club and the team.

1

04 Apr 2026 15:28:32
Which PSG game, Ed?

Wednesday is going to be a very long evening for us Reds I'd expect. Thanks ED. Enjoy the editing today! I'd say it's going to be busy!!

He's not getting sacked so don't bother asking!

8

04 Apr 2026 14:59:09
He won't be sacked we know that now but we are not hanging onto 5th place either, that's a big concern for attracting big managers or players for next season.

2

04 Apr 2026 14:13:56
If that's not the players version of 'let's down tools' and 'sack the manager'. I don't know what is.

11

04 Apr 2026 14:50:10
Nonsense.

0

04 Apr 2026 14:13:47
They say if you get in the wrong train to get off at the next stop.

Not FSG. They're proceeding to travel the globe with a head coach who goes home every chance he gets instead of coaching.
A sporting director who got the job because his mates are in charge doesn't analyse the needs of the team.

And Micheal Edwards, crap at Portsmouth, crap at Spurs, makes one good decision with Klopp. Then all of a sudden he's one of the best around. He's not.

Too many arrogant egos running the club right now, and it's showing on the pitch.

Shameful.

04 Apr 2026 15:08:00
Arne Slot gives the players time off so he can go back to Holland instead of working on the training ground, trying to fix this mess. A mess of his own doing.

6

04 Apr 2026 15:19:24
Slot Hughes and Edwards all need to go.

4

04 Apr 2026 14:13:39.
Thanks for the memories and bye bye, Slot, Van Dijk and Salah.
Three of our biggest under performers this season.
Szoboszlai new captain and team built around him, Wirtz, Ekitike and Isak.
Get some energy, legs and physicality in the team around those four.
Time catches up with everyone and time to move on.

04 Apr 2026 15:00:58
Spot on Molbys magic. 👍

1

04 Apr 2026 15:07:11
Konate too.

1

04 Apr 2026 15:53:50
The only memories I'd have of Konate are not good ones.

0

04 Apr 2026 16:04:07
I could have added a lot more, Kit, but singled out Slot, Van Dijk, and Salah as the main leaders and they have been anything but.
Absolutely shocking and the first to crumble when the going has got tough.
We need leaders, energy, hunger and desire.

04 Apr 2026 13:44:18
Game over at half time. Salah and Jones and Virg are their usual error-prone anonymous selves. PSG will batter us by four on Wednesday and guaranteed to lose against our perennial bogey team Fulham next weekend. And we'll be out of champ leagues contention by then.

Why is slot still in charge. Is this some practical joke. He is the wrong man for this club. Leave now. Good rail links from Manchester to London for you to fly back to Holland this evening.

16

04 Apr 2026 13:53:43
Well, both those teams are better than us; so you'd expect them to win...

5

04 Apr 2026 13:57:09
This is embarrassing. This clown needs booted right away.

12

04 Apr 2026 13:57:17
He can fly from Liverpool Airport and I'm on standby to take him.

8

04 Apr 2026 14:02:33
Can we sack a manager mid game?
Tired of hearing about underlying stats, this guy doesn't understand the club.

8

04 Apr 2026 14:05:19
My God, this is absolutely disgraceful stuff. No fight. No heart. I'm dreading the PSG match already. How can we go from league winners to this absolute muck in one season. Never seen any team fall off a cliff like this in such a short space of time. Depressing to watch.

10

04 Apr 2026 14:08:24
Away for the weekend, was a bit frustrated to miss the game, but seems that was rather lucky.

5

04 Apr 2026 14:15:07
It's beyond embarrassing at this stage, and borderline depressing, to be honest. Think I'm developing PTSD (Post Traumatic Slot Disorder). Therapy may be on the cards.

3

04 Apr 2026 14:18:37
What's worse than the scoreline is not being surprised by it. Slot has long lost the dressing room, and there's only one answer to that.

3

04 Apr 2026 14:37:33
Utter shambolic start to finish. Mr Oliver this time cannot be held responsible. The one to blame is As, surely he needs to go and go now. Surely he has some dignity left in him.

I'm dreading niteshift tonite. Am on with a devil's 11 fan and an Arsenal fan. Not looking forward to wed nite, but a will always be a Red. The good times will come back, and soon I hope. 👍

4

04 Apr 2026 14:42:49
That was embarrassing. End of.

1

04 Apr 2026 14:43:43
Chewy. If it was post-Slot at least you'd know there are brighter days ahead...

1

04 Apr 2026 14:46:14
Kjh2477, there is no one left at the club who understands the club. Least of all Slot.

1

04 Apr 2026 14:51:03
Ghait19 he's doesn't even live in Liverpool!! Tell me he's been sacked by now?!?!
