I've been following this site for the better part of 20 years. I love it. I love how many posters share. I love the ITKs, the long time commenters and the Eds. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my transfer rumours! It's always so exciting waiting to see who might arrive and the uncertainty over players is what makes it so exciting to follow.

To those who try and put down those that share those rumours, stop. Don't try and denigrate those that are willing to share and put their name on a rumour unless you're willing to put your money where your mouth is. We are so lucky to have posters such as Carra, TheFields, Ned and Robbo and every other person who share. Who cares if not every prediction works out. It doesn't matter. We are all here for the same reason. We love our club. We want the best to join. We love reading about the endless possibilities. Strap in, enjoy the ride and don't question what makes this the best damn rumours site on the internet!

If you don't believe a poster, and it is important to you, then you can simply skip their posts. I don't understand the drama.
I also think it's futile trying to rate or rank posters of rumours. If you take the position that everyone posts in good faith, and it may or may not happen, then that's all it takes.


The problem with ranking ITKs is they then feel under pressure to always deliver and may not post due to apprehension/doubt and they don't want the fallout.

Agree with Ron, the hysteria has been real of late. I'm all for people posting whatever they feel. Choose what to believe or who to trust, at the end of the day, nothing is guaranteed but I'm always happy for more reading material.

Nothing is set in stone. Enjoy the site and try not to be a complete d**k to each other. As is the case these days, you're always going to get some trolls online...people with nothing better to do but most people here genuinely just want what's best for LFC.



Even the likes of NeilyD a while back, created havoc, but I quite liked it, even if it was clearly mainly nonsense talk.

Keep posting to the real ITKs and the IKFA and I'll keep reading.

Personally, I just want to see more entertaining free flowing football, trying to set my expectations lower this year to avoid disappointment, as honestly last year sucked a lot of the enjoyment out of watching games for me.

Enjoying the football, and given the calibre of players we still have, I'd like to hope we'll win more than we'll lose. If we can exceed expectations and get back to title challenging form, even better!

I’m jumping on the band wagon of reminding people that it’s a rumours site.

This site, btw, over the years, had been much more reliable than the journos and romanos of this world.

I also think there are itks who have access to regular info, and then some who might have chance meetings with some.

My encounter with the parent who’s recently been speaking to a well known ex pro who told me slot was defo forgoing and Iraola coming in, and said put a bet on it.

At the time odds were still relatively long and all journos saying slot was staying. Yes, I posted on here.

Doesn’t make me close to ITK, but surely what site is all about.

Why is the Liverpool page so popular because there are people that bother sharing?

So just enjoy it whether they rumours actually materialise or not.

I do think a bit odd to go so hard on this, currently, even if you don't like it, he is 5th choice after Bradley, Frimpong, Gomes and Jones in whatever order you fancy (could argue he's 3rd or 4th choice but going off AI's comments).



Am I reading too much into this that this is an area we may sign someone then or has he faith in Bradley's and Frimpong's ability and his ability in keeping them fit?

No need to worry about the 2 year contract thing. He has already said that it is his choice because he thinks that coaches should need to prove themselves and not just be handed long contracts. If he's successful, I don't see any issues in working out an extended contract.
