VAR checked but didn’t check ?? I’m sorry but firstly the linesman who was 5 yards away made the wrong call and then VAR checked it and ruled it offside but never used the lines ?? FISHY!! I’m calling bull****…it’s time an independent body takes this outta PGMOL hands because VAR who review decisions should not done by other refs…what’s next asking a turkey what they would like for Xmas dinner

Does anyone run a the line at a weekend? I do - ref “in and out plus offsides for me”. Basic - easy and I can manage and I don’t train 5 days a week. These are t mistakes- they are something else

Maybe I am being unfair, and being too biased, but surely a referee should not be overweight in a professional game. The Prem is the fastest league in the world, and I am watching these ref's with juggling bellies and moobs trying to keep up. This can't be right. It impedes their ability to make decisions, as one, they don't have the necessary fitness, and two, they aren't able to assess a decision because they are blowing.
