It's like we have to beat the opposition and ourselves. Why is our defence so bad at everything, marking, heading, kicking, positional awareness. It's getting embarrassing. Moreno apart from the assist, again kept getting caught too high, up the back of players, silly fouls, every game he does this. people rave about him cos he's better than last season, not hard tho really. How's Robertson worse than that. Matip and lovren look like they've never played together, every game. Yet they are our best options cos klavens awful. Can blame klopp and coaches for some of it, but unless there coaching the defence to make bad decisions, fluff kicks and headers, fall over, dive in, give silly fouls, then some of the blame has to be on the players. they're not good enough. Klopp can however be blamed for not addressing the issues that every fan, pundit, and anybody with an ounce of football knowledge can see. And also for putting all his eggs in the vvd basket, why not have a second and third choice? Bad preperation. We should have been looking at two CB coming in anyway, cos everyone knew last season klaven and lovren weren't good enough. Wonder how long it's going to take teams to figure out that mane and Salah like to come inside, only took Sevilla 10 mins tonight to figure that out. Yet we persisted. No plan b again.

I thought moreno attacking play warranted his poor defencive play. I know first and foremost he is a defender but he was brilliant going forward. He did make some good challenges, got stuck in on that defender who kept fouling mane, covered at RB and won the ball, won a lot of interceptions. Yeah he missed with a wild challenge and didn't get goal side for their first goal (lovren had it easily covered though, or so we all thought, as did moreno no doubt. ) He still should have got goal side but he has attack on the brain. I think he could play winger. It wasn't moreno fault that the defence collapsed. He wasn't at fault for either of then, the cbs were. If matip and lovren had of done their job and liverpool win 2 0 I believe people would be praising moreno's performance.

Hello eds and fellow reds. Might be a silly question, but are lfc still owed money from the Torres transfer? Been hearing rumours for a while that chelski still owe somewhere in the region of £15m. If so, why haven't lfc called the money in? thanks. Ynwa.

Results matter, especially on the big occasion. You can win every game leading to a final, but lose the final and it makes all the previous results meaningless. We bottled it last season in Jan. We bottled Europa league final, we bottled league cup final. Should have kicked on this season, bottling it again. I like klopp, but great managers know there failings and address said failings. He's not. If your happy with playing attractive football but not getting results and not challenging then that's up to u. To me it's about winning, dirty, clean, attractive, boring, I don't care as long as there's points on the board and trophies in the cabinet.
