Flo, Orstein has repeatedly said since Xmas we haven't spoken to Alonso. And the club intends to stick with Slot. Lads laughed it off, but he's bang on so far, as usual.

I think it is quite telling that with all of the suggestions of the club backing slot, there hasn't been any comment from Liverpool.

It won't happen, but they really need to quell what is happening and now be vocal about their intention moving forward or this is going to get even worse in the next week or so.

It won't get any better unless they speak or the negative feeling towards them will grow and become exceptionally difficult to overturn.

Ornstein has announced that Alonso is a done deal. Two things are true at this point, firstly that we've dropped a massive bollock by not sacking Slot and offering the job and two, but also in accepting the Chelsea job, that Alonso has well and truly messed up on whatever legacy he does have and is persona non grata from this point on.
