100% agree with what Mo said in his post but 100% disagree with timing of it. This should've been for Monday week after hopefully we've secured Champ League football, which is huge for the club. The way we going, it's a v big game if Bournemouth + Brighton win there this weekend.
In saying that the higher ups should've this dealt with ages ago, quite clear slot had lost players months ago and it was going 1 way only.

I'm gona back Chelsea to win the league next season. It's not that I think Alonso is that great, has a coach but with the fact they have no European football and he can work with the players all week, with the players they have I can see it happening.

{Ed001's Note - it does seem that there is enough going on now for Sloth to return to the Goonies with the idiotic periodisation crap and Peeters going with him (why was that even seen as a thing at Liverpool? The main seller of the periodisation junk spent the first few months of Klopp's reign attacking him to sell it. Surely someone at the club should remember how it was shown up to be a scam by Klopp's success?). Unfortunately, the other 2 Stooges, Dick and Ted, seem to be safe right now, which is crazy. I said it earlier, the only way this is acceptable is if they have Iraola lined up or Enrique. Hoeness would also be OK. However, anything else or worse still Slot staying and this will turn toxic very quickly.

Iraola, I can't get behind, he hasn't been tested, doesn't challenge for silverware. Even Glasner has more. Xabi has a higher ceiling.
The only acceptable one would be Enrique, but I highly doubt that'll happen.

I think you underestimate Iraola Fowler, and also where we are as a club right now.
We need a manager who is going to go in and get the fitness right up, get us pressing and attacking again. Iraola strikes me as someone who can get those weak points firing the quickest as they are the very essence of his style.
He is almost the polar opposite of Slot, and that is what we need right now to undo the damage of Slot.
At the very least, I expect he will put this club in a far better footing for the next guy to follow in a few years time, if he can't get over the winning line. I suspect he will be able to though.

First home game next season, if Slot is in the dugout, it will turn very toxic by half time. Slot will not turn around this rot because he is the rot. He needs sacking, and whoever we have lined up will now be compared to Xabi.
