Slot should F**k him out of it! Pure Ego behaviour and needs to be nipped in the bud by the senior players in the dressing room to. Why players need to take there bloody jersey off to celebrate always confuses me.
23 Sep 2025 22:24:25
In a 3rd round League cup match from a simple tap-in too. wasn't like it was screamer in the 89th minute of the Champions League final.
24 Sep 2025 00:16:14
Well silver linings Feddy should be in the squad now for Saturday. Fully deserved.
24 Sep 2025 05:11:54
A simple tap in that turned out to be the winner or the match. It's obviously a dumb mistake but no need to tear into the lad. Slot will sort him out.
24 Sep 2025 23:20:16
Arne is fully to Blame, you don't replace your best centre forward with your second best centre forward in a NOTHING game?
Hugoals risked getting an injury similar to Geovanni in a NOTHING game?
Secondly Danns should have come on for Isak at half time, this would have meant Hugoals would not have been sent off in a NOTHING game?
Thirdly this would have meant Hugoals was fresh and rested for the palace game which is not a NOTHING game?
Bad management with no forward thinking for the next most important game, when it was so easily avoided by Danns for Isak at Half time.
25 Sep 2025 02:31:19
We've all been young and dumb before. He made a bad choice in the moment and that's as simple as it get's for me. Plus side? he'll never think about doing it again - Slot will of had words. He's not the first young lad to do something stupid and damn sure won't be the last.
All is forgiven, we won and we move on.
25 Sep 2025 15:34:58
Arne needs to learn the age old English saying of:
"PREVENTION is ALWAYS", "BETTER than CURE"
Sadly it was a "necessary game" for Geovanni to improve his match fitness, bad injuries are just the luck of the draw, one benefit hopefully from a very nasty injury is that with him being right footed it was the left knee that's the damage, so Geovanni will still have the full use of his preferred kicking foot when he returns.
His UCL squad place has been taken by fellow Italian Federico, wouldn't it be most fitting that Federico could pay him back by scoring the Winning goal in next year's UCL Final in Hungary, knowing Federico that will be his target.
As with Federico taking his UCL squad place it looks like he is out for the season sadly.
It was a "necessary game" also for Isak to improve his match fitness, as all of the squad had taken part in the pre-season tour games, they were also "necessary games" as all pre season games are "necessary for getting match fitness" always have and always will.

Ok peeps. We've clearly been spoilt by Davey Sulls' YLFP generosity. The boys name and CORRECT SPELLING is GIOVANNI LEONI. Please note and try harder. If still in anglo-doubt just go with Joey Lions or just go with his birth name, YLFP.

I’ve never cared that much for the ballon dor but it’s crazy how fast things change. 2 years ago I reckon half of the fanbase maybe more would have said no to dembele on a free transfer now he’s being crowned as the best player in the world.

You spelled Viktor wrong.
23 Sep 2025 07:36:32
Which just goes to show in the right environment a player can flourish.
23 Sep 2025 12:01:03
One good season after seven or eight rubbish ones doesn’t make a great player, PSG didn’t get him for free either, they paid €50m for a player more widely known for getting fines for disciplinary issues than scoring goals. He’s only ever one sprint or tackle away from a few months on the treatment table because he’s made of crisps.
23 Sep 2025 12:38:14
I'm all with Viktor on this one, the whole thing is nothing short of a farce. There's not a single sensible person in the world who if asked to name the world's best footballer would say Ousmane Dembele! Djimi Traore won the Champions League in 05, should he have been in the running? Milan Baros had a great Euros in 2004, should he have won it? Michu lit up the premier league in his first season with Swansea, was he the best player in the world? Of course not, none of them were and neither is Dembele. He had an excellent season but "one swallow does not a summer make".
23 Sep 2025 13:32:08
Dembele has had a great year and anyone who says otherwise is wrong. But no one would've predicted this two years ago. Not even Dembele himself, I'd bet.
23 Sep 2025 13:42:02
Gravs perfect example of a player not working out at one club but goes some where else and takes his game to another level . Thank God it with us YNWA.
23 Sep 2025 16:31:16
The Ballon D'Or is awarded to the footballer voted by journalists to have played the best over the last 12 months. It's not difficult to understand.
23 Sep 2025 18:43:01
It’s very difficult to understand Thunderbird because I can’t remember the last time a player from the Premier League won it.
Given that in France, Spain, Germany and Italy the big teams are playing against the equivalent of a championship team most weeks I can’t understand how a player from the Premier League doesn’t win it most years.
It’s crazy how Virgil and Mo have never won it for example. Both have been comfortably the best in the world in their position for a 12 month period numerous times.
Dembele is a very good player but he isn’t even the best player in Paris never mind the world.
It’s just a farcical award anyway that literally has no meaning. How can you say that the best striker in the world is better than the best centre back in the world? Because he scores more goals? Or is the best centre back better because he makes more successful tackles and wins more headers?
It’s a completely pointless argument and a pointless award for everyone apart from the guy who wins it.
23 Sep 2025 19:11:06
Rodri won it last year mate.
23 Sep 2025 21:41:31
That's a lot of strong opinions for something people aren't bothered about.
23 Sep 2025 22:02:01
Question is, has Dembele been the best footballer in European football over the last year, and to be blunt, no. He hasn’t. Good maybe, but not the best. Nowhere near.
23 Sep 2025 22:25:33
Who has been the best then Viktor? Who has been better than a player who won 3 trophies last season with 35 goals and 16 assists in 53 games? Say something positive about someone for once.
24 Sep 2025 00:21:54
There you go Thunderbird it’s so pointless and irrelevant I didn’t even know Rodri had ever won it! lol.
I was wracking my brains and the only other player I know who’s won it recently apart from Messi or Ronaldo is Modric. Which I also thought was ridiculous. Modric was a great player but best in the world? Nah, not for me.
24 Sep 2025 01:11:36
Who was the best player in 2018 then Robbo?
24 Sep 2025 23:33:10
MO was never going to win it, the premier European award would not have been given to any PL winning LFC player, who were dumped out in the first round of asking in UEFAs elite trophy and by the eventual winners of UEFAs elite trophy PSG.
The Europeans have always deemed it harder to win their Premier European Cup (UCL) than the English Premier League, that argument is for another day?
25 Sep 2025 18:24:17
If rodri can win it, good player no doubt but salah has been world class for years and he hasn't won 1. Things a farce.

The crossover I never knew I needed has just been announced. My Chemical Romance will be at Anfield!
They probably won’t be most peoples cup of tea but some of their songs are very important to me. Seeing them choose Anfield as a tour destination is odd but also feels like I need to be there. Hopefully ticketmaster doesn’t shaft me on Friday!

At first I thought you meant in the crowd for tonight…. God I am simpleton at times.
21 Sep 2025 10:21:14
Listening to Moyes, was he basically calling the ref a cheat? Surely he picks up an FA charge for that?! As for the 3 minutes added on, it was spot on! There were hardly any stoppages. Better luck next time.

21 Sep 2025 10:36:02
They had 90 minutes to try and beat us, not just the 3 added on.
21 Sep 2025 12:09:22
I thought the same Marty, surely by saying it would’ve been different had they been winning 2-1 is questioning the refs integrity?
I actually thought 3 minutes probably was a bit too low it should’ve been 4 or 5 minutes but they had 2 shots on target in 93 minutes so to suggest it would’ve made any difference is just deflecting from a poor attacking performance from them.
I’m not surprised though, every time we beat them Moyes finds a reason why it was anyone else’s fault but theirs.
21 Sep 2025 19:16:18
I think moyes is planting seeds, or attempting to insinuate that we get favourable officiating. Aka slottage time when things are bad. The reason there is often high amounts when we are losing is teams trying to waste time to hold the result.
Looking forward to the same discourse ans arsenal got 7 mins added to try and equalise.
The whole 3 mins argument is lazy and the fact the likes of MOTD were adding credence to it was disappointing. Imo, it shouldn’t have been shown in the interviews as it’s just baseless whining.
21 Sep 2025 19:40:12
Refs have been against us on two occasions this season so far, the Bournemouth player playing basketball on the half way line as the last man in the first half.
And Burnley player Lesley Ugochukwu even though he eventually got a red card very late on, should have gone in the first half for re-arranging Macker's ligaments.
22 Sep 2025 11:28:09
I thought the same. We get far more bad decisions than favourable ones (just look at free kicks given against us compared to free kicks not given for fouls on Salah) - you can't have managers going around baselessly accusing officials of bias. Pretty certain Klopp got done by the FA for far less. As for the amount of stoppage time, people were just a bit confused by the fact that both teams were actually trying to play football rather than time wasting. People are comparing it to the Newcastle away game where there was loads of stoppage time. What they are conveniently forgetting is that Newcastle had been time wasting the entire game and the ball was in play for the least amount of time since records began. If we introduced an independent timekeeper who stops the clock when the ball is out of play like they want, that game might still be been going on!
22 Sep 2025 18:24:17
If they were way on top and looking very likely to score with us hanging on for dear life he would have reason to complain, but they didn't look likely to score after gueye got a goal, he makes it sound like if he had another two minutes Everton would likely have equalised.
20 Sep 2025 20:05:27
Grealish moaning about added time, he needs to realise he is not playing for City and pep time.

20 Sep 2025 22:12:40
Maybe if he didn’t keep diving he’d have more time on the ball.
21 Sep 2025 11:02:05
All I’m hearing this morning is how well Grealish played. I must’ve missed it.
I don’t think he dribbled past Bradley once and Everton got the ball to him every time they were in possession. It was a decent cross for the goal but the assist was from Ndiaye not Grealish.
Other than that did he create a chance?
He’s one of the best in the world at sticking his leg into the opponent and going over to win free kicks and I did see a bit of that. Any Evertonian that ever complains about players diving doesn’t have a leg to stand on with Grealish and Ndiaye playing for them, they are 2 of the worst culprits in the league.
Grealish did ok but the reaction to an ok performance is ridiculous.
{Ed001's Note - he did win a few free kicks after diving. I am waiting for Ed25 to come and condemn him and Tarkowski for some of the most blatant cheating ever to win free kicks via diving. Every time we had a corner in the second half Tarkowski just dived to win a free kick under no challenge.}
21 Sep 2025 11:46:33
Said as much in Match Chat Robboslegs. Could not believe the commentators talking about him like he was prime Messi.
Nearly every time he got the ball, he ended up jogging towards Bradley with it before cutting back inside and passing it 10 yards infield. The one time he actually tried to go down the outside, he got past and put the ball in for their goal. The fact that he only attempted that once just displays how utterly lazy he is on a mentality level and why he failed at City. Content to do just enough to get the plaudits instead of everything he can to win a game. Waste of ability.
I reckon he'll tail off badly after a couple months of the season and Everton will not make his move permenent.
21 Sep 2025 11:58:39
The free kicks from our corners was laughable Ed they just threw themselves to the ground and he gave it every time.
I said on here a few weeks ago the best way to defend Arsenal’s corners is to just go down when they put hands on you. Simply because refs are so poor that they will give it every time if you hit the deck.
Part of Mo’s problem is that he doesn’t go down when being fouled (not that I’d want him to) . He gets fouled from behind at least 5 times a game but never gets the free kick because stays on his feet. If he just did a Grealish and took a swan dive he’d get a lot more free kicks.
{Ed001's Note - I agree, particularly on the Salah point - it is so frustrating to see him fouled constantly and never getting a free kick, instead the ref often gives the defender one. It is shockingly bad officiating as they should be watching back and seeing they made a mistake and looking out for it from then on. Just shows how poor the training is for these morons.}
21 Sep 2025 18:40:49
I think when Mo does go down (soft or not) he rarely gets a free kick. It's insane and very frustrating. Refs for me see Salah as a diver as they did w Mane. The real divers ie Grealish Saka and now this Simons at Spurs get rewarded for falling down.
21 Sep 2025 19:33:44
They are not called man "cheaty" for nothing!
20 Sep 2025 11:28:53
The team against Everton has been amended and altered due to their 'style . '
The equivalent of living in your beautiful home and having to remove your expensive crystal when the next door neighbour calls with their child .

Very smart call from the manager, silky smooth football is not going to be the order of the day against Moyes’s Everton, you have to earn your right to play in these games and we can’t afford a drop off in physicality.
