Man city found guilty of over 100 charges of financial irregularities and corruption and have been awarded 25 extra bonus points, 12 players per team and unlimited revenue to pay transfer fees of as many players they want.
Nothing to see here folks. All good. Turn a blind eye and move on.

So Man city have finally been found guilty of the majority of the charges against them with punishments and sanctions yet to decided.

We'll see. There is no official announcement as yet. At the moment it is just the Athletic saying that they have been found guilty for 114 of the 115 charges. City just released a statement saying that the process is ongoing.
City will appeal anyway and drag it out for another few years.

Did any of you get a look at the article on ESPN regarding Wirtz? It was looking at the question of benching him. The stats are an interesting read. Curious what others opinions are, before reading this I felt he is not droppable. This only made my mind up further. I still think he needs and deserves time. My 2 cents.

Besides the Wirtz question, what formation Jurgen chooses and where Wirtz will be played is also the other dilemma over the Netherlands v Germany fixture tomorrow and that is where will Gravenberch play if selected by New Dutch Boss Xavi a former "attacking" midfield maestro in his playing days, will he alter him from a Slot number 6 to a Xavi number 10?
Other interests of course is Ljinders on Jurgens coaching staff again that would suggest 4-3-3 "harrying" and chasing for possession of the ball Jurgen style. Other LFC interests for Jurgen are Gakpo and of course his former club captain VVD. Very intriguing game indeed?

It will be an interesting match, but if Pep L is with Klopp I doubt it'll be the 'heavy metal' football that he was associated with and had with us in the first few years. That isn't Pep's style and we started to move towards a more possession based style as he started having more influence.

Not really sure the international game has any relevance whatsoever for us. It is a team sport, the best you get out of a player is in his (and his teammates) ability to link, gel, get each others game and be a cohesive force. Wirtz has nothing to prove from a capability perspective he's a class technician. As part of the LFC team he has everything to prove, as do the rest - part of an overall cohesive team.
His teammates aren't with him with Germany and, again, he's more than proven his international capabilities so the only interest I have is in hoping he does not get injured!

I think klopp will tweak Wirtz's game with his coaching. I reckon he will help improve all the squad. Can't see many pulling out of being called up while he is in charge. Even if you don't get to play and only get to train.

I think Rio might be gone by then. Or it might be his last season with us.
I predict that if he becomes the player we want, he will leave for elsewhere at somepoint. He has ambitions to win the Ballon d'or and you don't do that at Liverpool. He isn't a Liverpool fan so he has no deep ties to the club, but these can be built over time still.
If he does not become the player we want, well then he will get moved on.

Don't think any of them are LFC fans besides Bradley and I'm sure they'd all like a Ballon D'or. Even RB's fancy their chances these days.
