How would you rate Robbo as a full back eds? In your all time Liverpool top 5? In my lifetime, my top five full backs are Nicol, Staunton, Babel, robbo and taa. sorry to bjornebye and finnan and risse fans.

Riise had some left peg on him, but didn't really do much else. Scored the odd whopper. Can remember the United free kick and the sound it made. Robbo up there in my opinion.

Aurelio was a far better left back than Riise. Too bad his legs were made of crisps.
I'd say Robbo is the best LB we've had in the Prem era. Possibly the best since Alan Kennedy.

Ed mate, Babbel, Finnan and Neal were all right backs, so Robbo definitely clears them at left back.

Phil Neal, Steve Nicol, Alan Kennedy, Robbo, Rob Jones or Finnan for the 5th. If Jones could have stayed fit, we would never have heard of Rat boy Neville either for England or mouthing off about everything under the sun since he has retired.

Genuinely can't believe Babbel is being mentioned in the same sentence and ahead of Robbo! Absolute madness. And I actually really liked Babbel... but Robbo is twice the player Marcus ever was, and servant in general!

One of the biggest disappointments in my 60 years was Rob Jones not being able to reach his massive potential. Such a shame for the lad and the club and fans.

Best two fullbacks are without doubt Chris Lawler and Phil Neal.
Chris Lawler was like a ghost and appeared out of nowhere in the opponent's penalty area and scored 41 goals for LFC. He also stood in at Centre Half for Big Ron over Easter 1964 when we won the league.
In those days we played on Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Monday. 3 games in 4 days. I'd love to see our current players do that.
